Loved our stay at villa 56!! Management and owner was quick to respond with any questions and concerns we had. View was absolutely gorgeous. Loved that the back yard sat on a golf course. I enjoyed having my coffee on the pool deck and enjoying the sounds of nature. The inside was beautiful but we spent the whole time on the patio and In the pool. This is the rejuvenation my family needed. Thank you!!! We will define back!!

Great stay! House was perfect for our family and had extra room. Kids loved the pool and the sunrises were incredible! Fun to watch the water skiers while relaxing in the pool. Golf course looked nice, we didn’t golf but took walks around the area each morning and everyone around was incredibly friendly. Nice to be away from the hustle and bustle of everything!

Swiss Vacation Homes were very informative and detailed with their instructions. The house we stayed in was cleaned and spacious. We enjoyed the pool & hot tub the most! The neighborhood was quiet and great for walks / runs. Location was perfect for also! We look forward to booking with Swiss Vacation Homes again in the future! Top Notch!

I would avoid booking with this company at all costs. I booked the Mount Dora - Lake Jem property and paid in full, hoping to go on a week long getaway. I sorted properties by amenities and this home came up. It hit all the marks but it would turn out to be a dud. Listed under Amenities (one of the amenities I sorted by) was a grill. When I reached out to the management company to inquire about the grill I was told, “No grill” I mentioned that the amenities listed a grill and they essentially told me I could use a grill pan on the gas stove and that’s why. They also told me I was welcome to bring my own and when I asked why they couldn’t just buy one for the property since they advertise having one, they said it was against their insurance and then said I in fact couldn’t bring one of my own either. They proceeded to attempt to educate me on the various types of grills and BBQs available.This conversation would be the first of a handful of conversations in which Katty from Swiss Vacation Homes would offer to cancel my stay with a full refund. I declined as we were a week away from our stay.We hit the 3 day mark prior to our stay and I noticed in my paper it said pool heating would be an extra cost but clearly in the property description it stated: Heated Pool (heat pump) - at no extra cost. It was listed as such on the site we booked through but also directly on Swiss Home’s vacation site.After pointing this out, I was offered opportunity to pay the full price of heating the pool, or to pound sand, or to cancel my stay yet again. With 3 days left till our arrival, I was not prepared to cancel this stay. A couple of messages later I receive “We just found out the AC is broken. I am truly sorry we have to cancel your reservation”This is a company that manages dozens of properties. They didn’t offer to put us in another property or any sort of resolution. It was a very deliberate act because apparently when you drop 3k on a whim for a week of staying at a house, you should have no expectation that the property management company will have the amenities as advertised.I attempted to reach out to Swiss homes to talk to Katty but she was ”on vacation” and would call back asap. Never got a call back and furthermore, my number has been blocked from contacting them. This experience was not only bizarre but with 3 days notice of not having a place to stay, this experience and service was downright abusive and despicable. To add insult to injury, I see the dates that I previously booked are now available at this property.

Cute, quaint and quietThe price was right for a one night stay. The unit is off the beaten track in a peaceful setting. There was barely room for the queen size bed in the room, thankfully we were there just to sleep. It was difficult to tell if the fitted sheet had been washed. There wasnt a flat sheet, just the comforter. I brought my own pillow to avoid any un-washed issues. The mattress was quite comfortable. There was no shampoo, but I always travel with that kind of stuff. Probably the biggest complaint is there was no hot water after just one short shower. I showered last and it was chilly!!!

Not worth the money worst house I ever stayed at. Dont stay at unit 6 wasnt clean at all. The furniture was even worse and every time I contacted them to complain especially because the toilets never flushed theyd have an excuse for everything and they would send a tech out who was no help. I wish I had photos to prove and show how horrible and dirty this place was. I bought clorox and lysol spray to clean the bathrooms myself.

Our family had a wonderful time at our home that supplied ample privacy and a beautifully appointed space to enjoy! Our only issue arose with the pool not being ready for our arrival, however the problem was solved with efficiency and the added cost of heating the pool for the day we could not use it was refunded to us. Truly an exceptional experience staying with Swiss Vacation Homes!

Perfect paradise for long stay I like too much

This is a gem of a property in the beautiful Florida countryside! The weather is perfect all year long, the ski lakes are glass, the condos are unique, clean, and comfortable, and the owners Katty and Alex are super friendly and accommodating! Their ski shop has a great selection of gear too! I bought two high wet suit and the coolest red competition vest that I just had to have. Highly recommend Swiss Vacation Houses for your next adventure!!!

What a magnificent time I had while staying at Swiss Vacation Houses. I took a trip for Thanksgiving to Clermont, Florida and stayed in a room as part of a cabin! It was perfect for what I needed, and the room was spectacular.My view was overlooking Lake Sumner and the grounds and cabin were beautiful. I would highly recommend Swiss Vacation Houses to anyone.

I have to give Swiss Vacation Houses and Katty 5 stars across the board. Our stay was great and the hospitality was incredible.

The property manager Katty is extremely friendly and was so helpful during our entire stay. We stayed for 3 months and the location was perfect for us. It is very quite. Its a 3 minute drive to Publix, 10 minutes from downtown Clermont and also just a great place for golfing and biking right from the house.

We enjoyed our week stay at one of the beautiful homes here. It was a little pricey and there were a few issues, however they were very helpful and accommodating and worked quickly to fix the issues. We would definitely stay again if we were in the area for any extended amount of time.

We have just completed a two week stay in a home that was perfect for our needs. We have rented homes at Swiss for about 10 years. We obviously are happy with the accommodations, location and service. Thanks Katty and Alex. See you again soon!

We absolutely love skiing and staying at Swiss. Great people, tremendous ski site, a nice range of accommodations depending on your crew size. Our favorite experience is renting a house with other skiers / families. If you love to ski, this is tough to beat. Don’t mistake five stars as a five star hotel, but if you don’t mind filling up the fridge and cooking, or driving a bit for meals. It’s perfect. A guaranteed international experience with folks from all over the world, pro skiers regularly at the dock, great wind protection, pro shop by appointment.

Great place with a very good price, we will be back many times in the future.

We wanted to host our family for the holidays close to our home in central Florida. Katty and her team make this very easy for us. We called her and explained her our needs and she took care of the rest! Our family was happy and loved @swissvacationhouses. Definitely we will do it again! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Swiss Vacation Houses is a great place to spend a week or even a few months. Great for walking, golfing , waterskiing or just admiring the amazing views. I have been WFH and couldnt be in a better place right now as there is lots of space for everyone.

My husband and 4th grader stayed at 66 Denise For a month in January 2021 to escape the PA cold. For the most part our stay was quite enjoyable. Id give it a solid 4 stars.We found the home to be well-equipped for our needs. In particular the Wi-Fi signal was outstanding, the master bed (a Leesa foam mattress) was better than any weve ever stayed in, and the management agency was very responsive when we contacted them (especially Joelene and Katty). The home is tastefully decorated, comfortable, and easy to navigate. The washer and dryer were perfect. The furniture extremely comfortable. The view was terrific and my husband very much enjoyed his day on the golf course. The desk in the MBR was great. We needed two more - one in each bedroom - to work from home effectively. We borrowed two card tables from my in-laws but if youre planning on two or more people working from or schooling from home you might need to make some additional accomodations. The TV was awesome!Some things I wished I had known:> The kitchen appliances were from Ikea. They were good, though it took me a long time to figure out the microwave and couldnt find a user manual.> I had a package delivered and didnt know the sender would send via USPS. So my package was locked in the mailbox with no key (office doesnt have mail keys). I had to go to the post office in Minneola to reroute the package back to the post office and I had to make a return trip to get the package. Definitely make sure any packages delivered come via UPS, FedEx, or some other direct-to-door carrier.> Water pressure. The water pressure is nonexistent until about 8:30 am due to the sprinklers being on somewhere in the complex.> It would have been nice to have more supplies (toilet cleaner, more all-purpose cleaner, window cleaner for glass surfaces, etc.) as I wasnt willing to spend $$ for cleaning supplies. If I had known there wouldnt be supplies I wouldve packed my own.> Fence. There are two weaknesses in the fence on either side of the house that our dog was able to escape through. We blocked it with yard and tree debris to prevent another escape but its a short-term fix.> Pests. We did encounter three palmetto bugs - killed two and one escaped! And we killed a small number of silverfish. A visit from an exterminator may be due. Ask them about it before booking if youre a squeamish northerner like me.> The pool heater is not working as it should. The pool never heated to the advertised temperature even on days when it should have been easy to do so. (Consecutive warm, sunny days in the 70s and 80s.) I do not dispute that it would be impossible for a pool to heat to 84° when the air temps were very or even moderately cold. We had multiple days, however, where the air temps were not unreasonably cold at night and the weather was warm and sunny during the day. The pool companys technician told us that the reason for the water temps -- even on warmer days -- was that the home owners set and locked the thermostat was at 71°F. The management company disagrees. Regardless, had we known that the max temp would be 71° (not 84°) we would not have paid to have the pool heated and wouldve opted for the hot tub spa instead.All in all a good visit. Wed consider staying again!

Amazing place, so beautiful and unique! Proof is we’ve been returning to the Swiss resort for 7 years! Ideal for families, calm, with many sports facilities such as waterski, bike and golf and not to forget all the attraction parks. Houses are beautiful, very different each but there is one for everyone. In case of issues, the team is always quick to find solutions. Highly recommendable!

Self catering studio has been newly renovated and was quite comfortable, but rest of accomodation rundown/ in process of renovation. Nice golf course. Beautiful sunrises.

We stayed here 4 nights and it was not at all as described on the website. The lock to our door did not work and it was never fixed. The rooms are not individual as appears implied on website but actually 5 rooms to a dome plus a kitchen area shared. The walls are so thin you can hear paper rustling in the adjacent rooms. I couldnt sleep even with ear plugs in. There were cobwebs throughout the rooms, including a large one right at the head of the bed, an obvious sign of lazy cleaning. There is no path lighting and one night we came back after dark to our room, the sprinklers turned on and completely soaked my laptop bag, ruining it. The parking area is not convenient to the domes and you have to drag suitcases across gravel or grass to get to the narrow pathway. The WiFi is not strong enough for use in the rooms. There was mold and chipped paint throughout the room and kitchen area. The beds were comfortable, that was one thing that we appreciated about the place. It was overall in NO WAY worth the $80 a night that we paid! That location and their accommodation was maybe worth $40/night as glorified camping IF it had been cleaned decently. Of course we visited during the holidays so by the time we experienced such poor accommodation, there was nothing else available and we were stuck there.

I stayed in unit number 39. It was filthy upon check in. Also stayed in unit number 15. Looks clean at first sight till you look closer. Unit had a bug problem. Pool was dirty with algea. Hot tub apperantly broken. Buyer beware, you have to pay in full upfront with no refunds. Seems like a lot of owners leave their own good reviews

The nature at Swiss vacation houses is just splendid, especially sunset and sunrises. Top spot for water skiing, triathlon, golf. Top base for travelling to all destinations in Florida entertainment parcs, beaches, Miami, Keys, Daytona......Clermont is a very cute and peaceful small city. Several different houses to be rent on the Swiss vacation houses website. The website shows clearly different styles of villa decoration. My favorite is n°105 with its private lake, and its fantastic sunset views !

Would have never stayed in the room if we knew what to expect. FILTHY! I can see why they charge in advance and dont refund for early departure. Couldnt get out fast enough and forfeited cost for the night we didnt stay. It was worth it to just get out.
