My go to store for all my pool needs. The staff here are always eager to help and have plenty of people on staff so you never have to wait.

I had a great experience, Dave was very happy and helpful with me.He repaired my navigator last week and he asked me about it this week.Also gave me helpful tips with my filter system. Dave didnt rush me off either, he stayed with me till I was done. No pressure salesmanship. Ill enjoy doing business with him.

Staff is always helpful and professional. They know there stuff and are always willing to educate. Store is nicely stocked and has a variety of options and products.

DO NOT USE PINCH A PENNY FOR YOUR POOL CLEANING MAINTENANCE. Paid for the most expensive service they offer which has them at our pool once a week. This is what our Jacuzzi and fountain looks like after they service, less than an hour after they leave. They simply do a quick motion of pushing a brush on the wall throw some chemicals in and leave. 10 minutes max. Ive brought this to their attention and this was the results the week after bringing it to their attention. I requested cancellation today and will find someone local to handle our service. They obviously do not take any pride in their work.

I will never buy anything from them again. Bought a new pool filter from them just over a year ago n have had trouble since day 1. 1st when I brought it back just for exchange cause it didnt work once installed, they wanted to give me the floor model one in replacement. Umm No. Then the new one the gasket was leaking to the pump, yes they did replace it under my warranty but Wow then my pool guy today another gasket is leaking so bad hmy pool is so low on water I have it filling with my garden hose.I call Pinch a Penny to see how to claim it on my warranty....Omy

Could I shop around and probably find a little price? Probably. This location is consistant, always friendly, knowledgeable and always ready to help with any of my pool issues. That has a huge value to me. Thanks guys!

Great place

We have used Pinch-A-Penny for close to 6 years for weekly maintenance on our pool. For the majority of the 6 years, we had great technician, named Paul, who had a wonderful work ethic and he was always very polite. The pool was always crystal clear and sparkling. We would receive many positive comments from family and friends when they came to visit. We had the “go-to” pool and we ALWAYS gave the praise to Paul at Pinch-A-Penny. Unfortunately, our technician was changed a few months before summer and the pool has been constantly on the verge of yellow/green. On the days the pool is actually blue, it is so cloudy you can not see the bottom. No one has wanted to swim in the pool the entire summer, and that is really saying something when you live in Florida with teenage boys who typically live in the water! The new technician also leaves a trail of dripping chemicals behind him. He rarely cleans the filter even though we pay for the more expensive package, which includes filter cleanings. When he actually does clean the filter he leaves the area a mess. One day when I was actually home while he was servicing the pool I went to speak with him about the situation... he then pulled out the filter (which had obviously not been cleaned in over a month) and held the dripping filth over my dog! I do not expect the man to be dog sitting or rubbing my dogs belly by any means, but I do expect some common decency towards any animal. Both my husband and I have kindly spoken to him (on numerous occasions) about the difference in service between him and Paul. Some of the new technicians responses to us have been, I did not know I was supposed to clean your filter, or The company only allows me 20 minutes per house...” there always seems to be an excuse. Even after polite reminders, the new technician still continues to leave a mess of splatter on the side of the house and never recoils the garden hose. Our breaking point came last week when the filter was actually cleaned and he left collection of debris from the filter on the sidewalk and rolling down the front driveway to dry. Not only does that look terrible, we feel as if we are paying him to vandalize our house. Once again, all due to separate incidents, my husband and I have both contacted customer support numerous time. The last time I contacted them I actually requested to have Paul come back because he is still working for the company. Unfortunately, they said that was not a possibility. We do have a large and deep (11 foot) pool so I understand it requires extra time and chemicals. We have decided we have been patient long enough and we will be cancelling our service with Pinch-A-Penny even though we will have to pay more money from another company. Hopefully we will get what we pay for elsewhere!

Helpful staff; lots of fun (and necessary) pool accessories. If you say up an account its cool because they keep track of your pool purchases (filters, treatment history, etc.) which is pretty cool, too.

Great place to get pool supplies always friendly. Not the cheapest but they are great.

Great service & had what we needed

I was in this store this morning to have my pool water tested and pick up some chemicals. The older woman behind the counter was extremely rude and condescending. Every time I spoke she cut me off. I could not get out what chemicals I had already added or even how to spell my name. We are a family on a budget, so I explained that we needed something to kill algea and possibly lower phosphates. She was almost obsessed with selling us a Calcium Increasing chemical. I asked if that would help eliminate the green and she said no, that it protects the lining.of the pool. I explained that I was not concerned out the pool lining and that our goal was to eliminate the green. She became combative and hostile.I asked for the corporate phone number and was sent over to the store manager who was not concerned at all about his employees behavior. Rather he told me that he has had similar complaints about this employee. As we were leaving the store we heard the manager yell to the employee that he hopes she was not taking this seriously.Worst service ever. Do yourself a favor and go to Leslies Pool Supply, where they may sell you the wrong chemical, but are never rude.

This place is far from pinch a penny. They supposedly do some kind of test and then charge u week after week for stuff u dont need. U can get all you need on Amazon for $15. Not to mention the female employee had the nerve to hit on my wife while I paid her $123. Unprofessional.

Worst pool cleaning service EVER! They charge $119 to clean and service your pool weekly. They dont vacuum, they leave salt bags in the pool (pic by our realtor), they charged for a creepy crawler only to find out the pool person never put it in. Had to request credit twice.
