Went to see the doctor because I have a split gum with an impacted wisdom tooth, so the bone is exposed. Had to reschedule appointment because the doctor had to leave due to family emergency. Came back the next day I had already done x-rays and had a nurse take a look. But no actual doctor took a look at me just the x-rays. Prescribed antibiotics and told I need an oral surgeon. I can not see an oral surgeon till the beginning of August. Called for any relief because it is swollen as well as the right side of my tongue. Was told that they called in a prescription got off work to pick up prescription it antibiotics again. I was still swollen and in pain when I was taking them and its just getting worse. Even if it was a stronger ibuprofen that would of help instead of popping pills like it is candy right now. I dont know how they can judge the condition by x-rays and not an actual doctor looking at the condition. I can not judge if they are good on the work they do, since I did not meet any of the doctors.

I was told I needed extractions and an implant when I didn’t even need it! I do not recommend this dental office or the other locations. 3 doctors with FL Dental saw me and all agreed to this very pricey plan. I decided to visit another dentist and found out I didn’t even need any extractions! I ended up VERY happy at VIP Dental!

A++++++++ service from the minute I walked in until I left. Cleaning, Xray and exam was a great price! I will be returning!

Wouldnt even give them one star i took my daughter there to have her wisdom tooth removed 1st appointment did nothing as expected except a prescription that was fine 2nd appointment 50.00 consultation fee and the consultation was a joke never told us what they would be doing gave out 4 more prescriptions for what who knows asked when is her next appointment was told oh we dont know yet please take a seat in the waiting room after I had already been there way over an hour I told them just forget it im not waiting any longer I left it shouldnt take that long or that many appointments over 1 tooth that just needs pulled she wasnt in pain nor was the tooth bad it just bothered her so Nothing major I dont know why they wanted her to have 5 prescriptions that crazy so I ended up driving her somewhere else and she is getting her tooth pulled in the same day SMH dont waist your time here . The people at the front desk are extremely rude as well no updates on waiting time I am not retired I have a busy life 45 minute wait is to long they over book appointments for money and dont care about you at all when they see you all they see is $signs

Top notch dental care with reasonable prices. I went to repair an old set of dentures, they completed the repair Same Day! They lasted nearly a year afterward. At the same time I received a quote for a new pair with a 2 year warranty. A year later I pulled the trigger and they honored the year old price quote!!! The staff are friendly and knowledgeable, the prices are low and the product is well worth it. Great Dentist in Dr. Tu, she’s skillful and friendly.

Staff is friendly. The dentists are very gentle. Ive been there often and they have been very professional and nice. Good prices too. Availability is some times hard to get but manageable.

Poor time management and customer service, I do not recommend this dentist unless you are retired and have hours to wait. Twice they made me wait (45 minutes the first time, 30 minutes the second time) without updating on how much longer it would take. Not everyone is retired and can wait all day for dental work. Do they not know people have to take time out of work to goto the Dentist? In fact I bet most people expect that when they go for an appointment they will be updated on how long it will take. This isnt rocket science, dont double book clients for the sake of money. In addition they did not seem fazed by the fact that they had lost a customer (stated before leaving that I would just find another Dentist, to which they said, thats okay), perhaps this is a common occurrence.

I am a new Patient with Florida Dental Centers. I went there for a loose filling. Had X-rays & teeth cleaning on my initial visit yesterday. Today I went back to have the loose filling replaced. I HAVE NEVER BEEN SO IMPRESSED WITH A DENTAL OFFICE.Dr. Tu is an excellent dentist. She takes the time to listen to you & explains everything that needs to be done.Aurora, the hygienist did an excellent job on my cleaning, Frank who took the X-rays made it a nice experience. The entire staff went above and beyond what I expected.There are no surprises when it comes time to pay the bill, because they give you the price of everything needed at your initial visit.I am really happy that my son told me about Florida Dental Center on Drew St.I will go no place else for my dental care. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a place that provides excellent dental care.

The staff at this office are awesome. Such a great group of people. Dr Tu is very sweet and is a hard worker when it comes to her patients. She always pays attention to what they need and helps them however she can. They are always friendly and always helpful. The front desk is always polite and passionate about others. I will keep going to them for years to come. It is also very convenient to have a lab on premises. Makes it easier to get crowns done fast.

I went in without an appointment with excruciating pain from a bad tooth. They numbed me up really good and didnt feel a thing. Second time my back tooth was infected and broken and they took good care of me so i didnt feel a thing. Also best prices around.

I have severe dental phobia! But these people really put me at ease! Between the lovely ladies at the front desk that greeted me with a smile and were so helpful to get me in quick to the doctor who took the time to explain exactly what she was doing and checked in on me multiple times to make sure I was doing well. Crazy that I have to pay 10 dollars because you are required to use better quality equipment and materials more often due to the pandemic. My preventative services are free it is your job to maintain a level of quaility to keep your clients safe. Shame on you.

Had billing questions, I was explaining a billing concern of mine where I was being double billed for x-rays to the front desk staff who answered my phone call. Well she seemed to know it all and was telling me that what I was saying and reading from my dental insurance statement was wrong and incorrect even though I have it in print. I even called my insurance company and they stated I need to call my dentist directly to get them to correct the issue. After trying to get her to listen and quit cutting me off, she just hung up on me. Who does that??? Lost my business for sure. And it’s a shame too because the doctors and assistants are fantastic at what they do, it’s just the front desk staff that is so rude.

Florida Dental Center has always been my go-to for dentistry. Their office is welcoming and friendly and they are always willing to work with your schedule as much as possible. They send reminders before your appointment, which is helpful - especially if you booked it 6 months before and forgot to put it in your calendar. Ive been going to Florida Dental Center for the past 5 years, and had a great experience. I go twice a year and they have the best the hygienists Ive seen! Dr. Tu and her team (Dr. Hutchinson) are amazing and I highly recommend them for any dental needs.

I wish I had never came here. Went in for a cleaning and was told I had a medium size cavity so I had them fill it. Never had issues with my teeth but now since the filing my tooth always feels discomfort. I should’ve went somewhere else

(I had to add this..So I called the number below and spoke to a young lady and she acted like she was concerned and was supposed to call me back, never heard back. So I called and the corporate young lady in a meeting..it has been almost 2 months now. This is a shame.) Front desk is incompetent and do not communicate with their staff in the back. They give out wrong figures before checking and then get an attitude when it is their nix mix up. Never apologized and wasted my time and gas coming up there when they could have called and told me and have wrong figures . Just so unprofessional, never will go back.

There is not a better place to go to for dentistry in my book!! I love it here, everyone is super nice especially the redhead at the front! The Drs and staff are amazing and treat you with the up most respect. Please go and check them out! You wont be disappointed!

I cant say more nice things about this place.I generally look for sedation dentistry for nearly any procedure since Im kind of an anxious wreck but I made an exception due to availability and the nature of my emergency. They saw me during walk-in hours and were able to schedule my procedure for the next day. (Surgeon is usually there on Fridays as a heads up.)I was able to get an extraction of a broken tooth with an exposed root in about 20 minutes.Relatively painless.I was presented with different options as well as pricing, all of which were more than fair and less than the quotes I had received from half a dozen other offices I had contacted.The women at the front desk were helpful and pleasant.The tech that helped me was very polite and efficient.The oral surgeon, Robert Synders, DMD went over the procedure and kept me informed and made sure I wasnt under any unnecessary pain during the procedure.There was a diverse clientele and it seemed as if they had a staff member that seemed to at least understand Spanish.The open floor plan can be a bit intimidating at first but their general professionalism and friendly nature more than counteract that.I highly recommend to those who dont require sedation dentistry and would like professional work done at a more than reasonable price.I was so impressed Im going back for my first ever cleaning and plan to make a regular habit of it.

Very disappointed, when first coming I thought that it would be home for me as my dentist office, but no. The dentist and dental staff in the back are good, but that front desk they are not knowledgeable and do not communicate with the back, so that they are all on the same page when it comes to insurance and what needs to be paid. Literally got an estimate quote one week and my daughter sat in the chair and was told she had to pay 800.00 and that insurance was not covering the procedure, I had to get on the phone with the dental staff in the back and explain to her that it was covered. I then called the front desk and they said oh yes its covered, its not the 800.00, but at a different price from what was originally told to me and then quoted me an additional 200.00 saying oh well we didnt include this but this is our price. Where in the world do we do this at? I had my daughter politely get out of the chair and told them they lost my business and cancelled my appointment I had the next day with them. The front desk has one lady that knows the fees, I guess because thats who they kept getting after the mix up. The other young lady acts as if she has no clue. Im not sure what kind of madness is going on there, but they really need to get it together

Very warm and pleasant place. All staff especially Dr. Spinuzo and Dr. Snyders alone with their assistants are relentless professionals. If you have any questions they are more than happy to explain anything you ask in full detail in a way you will fully understand. Florida Dental Center is my choice. You should make is yours as well.

I have gone into the office twice and both times everyone has been so nice and helpful. The place is a little bit old but the care made up for it. I saw the oral surgeon and he was great and the dentist that I saw was great. A big thank you because Im so scared to go to the dentist 😧

I would give it 0 stars but thats not an option. I went in for one x-ray which was $25 and a filling that was $70 or higher they didnt do either they said they want me to get a full X-ray done which was estimated at $75 of all my teeth and I had to have enough cash to pay for it on hand before I get seen how much money do I need they said I dont know go withdraw some money and come back how much do I need to withdraw rough estimate replied just go withdraw Ill take care of all the other patients and when you get back when Im done well take care of you Im sorry but Im not going to go withdraw thousands of dollars to sit in my pocket will sing at dentist thats a joke. I had to sit and wait an hour passed my appointment to be told I need to go withdraw money before seen thats a new one every other dentist Ive been to in the past just give you a bill then you go get the money to pay for it or use a credit card or debit card but reasons like this where they try to get more money from you is why I only pay in cash so they cant try to overcharge my credit cards I wouldnt suggest this place to anybody theres plenty of dentist out there look for somebody else.

Went in to your office on corner of Drew and Belcher for a neglected broken tooth I ignored for like a year... to the point of being infected so badly my face became swollen overnight and I was worried about dying of sepsis.Saw me as a walk in and they were originally going to write me antibiotic script and have me come back the following week. Thankfully the dentist was able to fit me in that morning,he did the extraction quickly, and after the fact even waived the $150+something charge for xrays, mostly because I misunderstood originally how much the total was going to be. Definitely didnt have to do that.It healed up well, no infections no problems. so thanks Dr, sorry it took me 6+ months to get around to leaving this review...

My husband needed all his teeth removed and we went here. The staff was very helpful and patient (as he has Parkinsons and needed more patience from the staff.) The whole process of removing, and replacing with dentures and then changing our mind about bottom dentures being replaced by implant dentures was very smooth. People that give 1 star because they are told to fill out forms properly are the same people that were never taught manners by their parents. The staff is friendly, very accommodating, and goes out of their way to educate as well as treat. Yes its an open room with cubicles, but Im going to the dentist for service not vacation. I went in a bad tooth, I came out without a bad tooth. They offered a same day appointment, on a cold call. Dr H was polite professional and straight to it, the dental hygienist was just plain funny. Highly recommended. They even offered an after care solution and long terms service facility

Since we dont have insurance that is accepted in Florida we opted for an initial appointment with this place. They offer a new client X-ray, cleaning and exam for $59. We checked in and were escorted back to our chairs. Cleaning took about 15 minutes and she said I was pretty good at keeping things the way they should be. I then went for X-rays. 6 different ones. I then had the dentist look them over. They saw what has always been in my dental records. (My teeth were horrible as a kid so I hate dentists.) They offered an estimate of what I will eventually need in the future. No new cavities! I feel good. they were true to their word about the cost. I love a place that doesnt nickel and dime you. Are straight forward. And they dont try to gouge you. Man, my dentist back up north was overcharging! I will return. Clean facility and my appointment took maybe an hour.

All staff are very friendly and helpful. Dr Snyders my Oral Surgeon was very thorough, he talked me through the whole process easing my nervousness. He has a great chair-side manner. I would highly recommend Florida Centers.

Worst dentist I’ve ever been to. The girls working the desk in the front are absolutely terrible and extremely rude! I told her I have insurance but being the I’m military, we don’t have an actual insurance card because they use our social security number. She refused to call and use my insurance and was unprofessional and rude saying I didn’t provide it so oh well. The doctor I had was a very nice guy but wouldn’t stop repeating the same thing over and over. I can’t stand when someone repeatedly says the same thing over and over but in a slightly different way. I understood the first time now shut up. He said he’s not 100% sure what the issue is but is assuming (educated guess 🙄) that I need a procedure that cost $4,000+. Money hungry and doesn’t take care of actual needs.

I absolutely love this Dental Office. I wouldnt go anywhere else. The staff is warm, friendly, and very professional. Very rude stall, she hang up the phone on me while I was asking about the charge, the doctors are great but staff are rude and unprofessional, will never comeback. Also, I would like the person in charge to train their staff to handle their client better. This is the reason I will not comeback and this is the reason why this facility deserve a 1 star review. Also, they dont check with your insurance before doing any procedure, they make sign a document because they are too lazy to call the insurance and figure out what is cover and what is not so you decide and prioritize what should you do or not. Have been to this office several times over the last few weeks. There is never a cross word there, the staff is always so friendly and greets you warmly. Yes, they really do care that you are there! Having had lots of dental work done over the years, I can honestly say that I’ve never had a better staff or friendlier people. The price is always discussed up front and they take lots of different insurances. I had gotten a referral from a friend and I sure hope that all of my friends take my referral for a full service dental office. Rinoldo and Frank were very caring. Dr. Naravone was super!

I recently visited fdc for the first time for a new patient cleaning , xray and exam. The price for this was great! The front desk was very friendly and helpful with my insurance. Dr.Tu was the doctor I saw for the exam and she was also great! I am pleased I had no cavities but I will be back for my cleanings.

20 years ago I had a tooth pulled and had a stroke in the dentist chair. Needless to say ever since that day Ive been terrified of going to the dentist.Today I went to Florida Dental and Dr. Neiber was the dentist and Troy was the dental Tech.. they both were so good to me and talking to me and understanding my fear that when it actually came time for my tooth to be pulled.. I wasnt terrified anymore. Thank you both so very much!

I normally do not write reviews but felt this office deserved one. I recently moved to Clearwater and unfortunately found myself with an abscessed tooth and was in much pain. I found this office via a Google search and was very pleased with the service I received. I only waited about 10 min before being seen and received a prescription for the medications needed to relieve the pain. I was especially pleased with the cost, very reasonable. I scheduled a second apt for a cleaning and exam and again I had little wait time and the staff were all very friendly and professional.

Ive been with Florida Dental in Clearwater since 1998. Very disappointed today Aug 24, 2016. Really rethinking my future with Florida Dental Center. Took off work to see specialist. Front desk acknowledged me then, then Signed-in at front desk with date, time, and Dr name. After waiting 35 minutes in waiting room for Dr. Ghiai only to find out he left for the day. Front desk really dropped the ball. Words can not explain my thoughts and disbelief of how they didnt know we were waiting.

My first visit was on Tuesday and the office staff was so helpful and welcoming . The cleaning was great, then xrays .Unfortunate for me I had cavities and Frank explained it all and the cost .I came back this past Tuesday and Dr Tu was so kind,caring and professional. I made an appointment to come again on Friday to have the last of the work done I though Dr Tu again explained why I should not wait to have a crown possible root canal that i had decided not to do so and Sherma explained in detail the reason for the cost . My mom went in for an emergency appointment because her front bridge came out. I spoke to the front desk and they reassured me that they can cement the bridge back in. I told them She is leaving out of the country and will get the dental work taken care asap just needed it out back in for time being. My mom is elderly and once she got there they couldn’t put it back in because they wanted her to do full extractions and dentures. Gave her the excuse that it’s a liability and that’s complete nonsense. She begged and pleaded and still wouldn’t help her!! This place is a complete scam and it’s sad how they treat elderly patients! The dentist my mom saw told her we will take care of you than the office manager said No! This place is a disgrace and should take some courses on how to deal with customer care! Beware!!!

I have been going to the Clearwater office for about 13 years. Drs. Tu and Spinuso are great and so is the entire staff, especially Donyale, Aurora & Brandy. Good prices and nice front office people too!

February 8, 2018: Donyale first took the time to speak with me about my dental habits and goals. Then during the exam Dr. Spinuso was great at pausing often to answer my questions. Lastly, Frank gave very helpful, detailed explanations of options for procedures, materials, and their rates. I didnt feel Dr. Spinuso, unlike other dentists, sought to overtreat for profit or undertreat in hopes of future profit. Thanks for the reassuring experience and the most reasonable rates.

Its truly unfortunate that I have to give this rating. The hygienist, reception, radiologic technician were all amazing but unfortunately Dr. Nieber was very uncaring, he answered my questions about his findings reluctantly and then when I asked if I could have someone there when I had my fillings done, due to anxiety, felt the need to tell me it would be too much to handle someone holding my hand during the filling. Feeling the need to share with me he recently had a heart attack. This is all fine I simply told the supervisor Id go somewhere else for the filling that allows this, the Dr. Came back in and told me to find a younger Dr. Why would a younger Dr be warranted? The last time I needed a filling I had an older gentleman Dr. Even if you dont feel comfortable with my husband with me coming in to say find a younger Dr blew me away. Learn to treat young adults, people have anxiety and have to deal with procedures in different ways, not everyone needs complete sedation sometimes simply having someone familiar to hold their hand helps significantly, and not be so rude when people let you know theyre going to get fillings done elsewhere! The entire rest of the staff is great providing quality care and answering all of my questions.

So first I would like to say that the service I receive from the hygienist and dentist at this place is always a good experience. I am giving this place two stars because of the front desk service. I arrived for my appointment and right before the hygienist starts my cleaning she says i owe money to them. Im confused at this point as I always pay what I owe after every appt. They tell me that the full claim wasnt paid by my insurance from my last visit and they sent me letters about it. I never received any letters from them and come to find out they were using my moms address from three years ago! Now the amount is in collections because of them not updating my information. After dealing with that, im told that its been exactly 6 months since my last visit and that they are worried that the claim will be denied because of this. Why wasnt this concern expressed to me when I made the appt or even when they called to confirm my appt!? I live out of town so I wasted a day dealing with this when it could have been avoided if they wouldve communicated with me effectively. The hygienist and dentists are great but the front desk service needs improvement.

I was visiting during the holidays and broke a tooth while at a Christmas party just before Christmas Eve. I called for an emergency appointment and Nicole told me to come right in. I was examined and treated by Dr. Nieber (sp) and his assistant Bayna. I had a tooth removed with experience and patience and, as Dr. Nieber (sp) said, the gum healed over in 2 weeks. Thanks for being there for people during travel. (Andy- Orlando, FL)

! Dr. Tu is great and does amazing work!! But the girl in front made it very stressful! !!

I tried to make an appointment to get my husbands broken tooth pulled and was told over and over that he didnt need an appointment. Once he got there, they did x-rays and then told him that he would need to come back and make an appointment since the oral surgeon was busy. That made me a bit mad, but we just sucked it up. A little while later, I called again to make another appointment and even though it was considered an emergency, they still said the surgeon was booked for a week and a half. I loathe this place.

Dont you think making a apt telling you what insurance I have you guys would call to verify and then call the patient to let them know not show up make you set sit there about 40 mins very unorganized more worried about a employee news flash customers first

There is no better dentist than Dr. Tu. She really really knows her stuff!
