Not worth the money they are asking for FAR from it. Maintenance is sad. Put in multiple online requests all requests was canceled. Reubmitted requests they were marked as completed with out the job being done eventually just gave up after calling management and they did nothing. 6 months later still not fixed. TRASH. Random piles of trash lined up around the complex. The best sight to see when coming home. The piles of trash are not hidden so management can see them yet that remain there. Water stains on ceiling from leaking roof. Black mold in units. The list goes on.... STAY AWAY!!

These people have no way to contact them (except if you want an apartment) if there is a problem for a reason, because they known their apartments have issues. My Pregnate neice lives there and although they have been out several times to look at the problem. Still there is MOLD YES MOLD in her walls and they have done nothing. That mold should of been immediated no later than the day after she called. Especially because shes pregnate. If something isnt done by Monday am I will be on the phone with everyone or anyone that will listen... Theyll come knocking for that rent though. 😠😤 Im done!

I moved here from Ohio and the apartment I got was newly renovated, so everything is new. It’s so nice and a great size for one person or a couple. The complex is nicely kept. The maintenance guys are so nice and helpful. Any issues you have they take care of. The office staff is awesome! Very friendly and helpful. The manager is doing a wonderful job with the property!

DONT RENT HERE! My wife and I just recently moved from Maryland and we did a virtual tour (our own mistake). Yes, over FaceTime and online the place looks nice! After traveling for two days to get here all we wanted to do was shower... all our water smelled of sewage!!!! We went straight to the leasing office and wouldn’t get anything done till the next day. Fine. Maintenance came at 9am. Fixed it. They realized the shower head wasn’t working and wasn’t theirs so they replaced it as well. The next day we wanted to wash our dishes and saw the dishwasher was RUSTY AND MOLDY! The move in check-in list also included a poop-infested patio and other small rust and dirty complaints. We gave that list to the office Saturday... maintenance never showed up. We went to the office the next Thursday... they uploaded the document but didn’t even put in a work request. Now comes the NEXT Wednesday and finally they show up to replace the dishwasher. A week and a half after we notified the office of our initial complaints then someone comes to look at it. ARIUM keeps saying they do a full look at the apartment before move-in. So funny. Lies, lies, lies. These are all things that should’ve been done BEFORE move-in. Thankfully they have the 30day guarantee policy so we are moving out as soon as we can. They also have a 48 hour maintenance policy but apparently they don’t honor both of them.Yes the office people are nice. But when we told them we had a moldy dishwasher they did not act surprised. When we told them we want to move out because we are not satisfied here, they never asked what they could do better or why we wanted to move out. All she said was ok.

The rent was WAY to expensive for the kind of apartments they are. They moved us into an apartment that had so many, loose, broken, or old utilities that have been reported numerous times and no one has come. The maintenance people bang on the door super loud whenever they come by. The people who blow the leaves away come right up to your window early in the morning for minutes in one spot and stand by your front door with their leaf blower. The people who take the trash wont pick up a heavy trash bag and sometimes wont take it if theres more than 2 bags. And rent would always go up every year which is insane for a 2 bd apartment. We have had a leak in our bathroom since we moved in and have asked maintenance repeatedly to come down and after our AC froze and had to ask a worker to come fix it, WEEKS later someone finally came and we had to bring up the leak in the bathroom while he was here which he didn’t seem happy about that beong brought up. He did a sloppy job patching it up and it still leaks

Unfriendly office staff, Maintenance staff is fine. When we moved in the apartments were infested with roaches, they did nothing more than just spray a few locations in the apartment. This did not get rid of the roaches. We are very clean people, and have NEVER had this issue in previous apartments. We moved in, and opened a closet, and the door fell immediately off the hinges. We were also faced with water leaks in our bathrooms, lucky we were able to fix this solution. They make the apartments seem very open, and inviting. Outside of the issues with our interior, “open, and inviting” is FAR from the experience you will receive from Bay Cove.

No place is perfect but with their help any issue I have had has been takin care of in a very rapid fashion and the best part is that they not only fix the problem but take the time to explain to me why my problem had occurred in the first place! It’s great to finally live somewhere where it seems like the maintenance people actually care about the comfort and well being of myself and family!

RUN! DO NOT RENT HERE!My girlfriend and I moved in on February 14th of 2020. At the initial walk through there were some noted repairs to make that Bay Cove told us would be done before we moved in. Upon moving in, none of the repairs that were promised were completed. These repairs included all of the screens on our back porch balcony (which were missing completely), a leak from the bathroom that was dripping into our downstairs pantry/laundry area, faulty wiring that left us with zero power in our master bedroom, a clogged shower drain in the master bathroom (no showers could be taken), and the A.C. upstairs would leak water and not run properly. We of course reported all of these maintenance issues right away and continued to be persistent about them. We were told by the office staff that the entire maintenance staff quit and they didnt have anyone to make repairs. We tried to be patient, but it came time to pay rent again and nothing had been done. After basically kicking and screaming to get attention eventually someone showed up to fix the leak and the power but he rushed through the repairs and did not do them correctly. Pulled my toilet out ripping up the brand new floor in our bathroom and never sealed the toilet once putting it back. To this day it still sits like that. This person also claimed to fix the power. Both the leak, and the power would need to be fixed again a few weeks later. I had to do them myself. No one ever came to address the clogged shower, I ended up renting a snake tool and purchasing about $40 worth of Drano and did it myself.I continued to request that my screens be put up as there were wasps/hornets coming into our home because the old windows and doors have finger sized gaps where bugs can enter and your air conditioning can exit. Also they tell you that they preform quarterly pest control and even show you a schedule of when they will come in your house. Again, its September, we moved in February, and we have NEVER seen a pest guy. After complaining for almost 4 months I was told that they couldnt fix my screens because of COVID and they could only do emergency maintenance. My screens were obviously outside and no entry to the apartment was required for this repair. Eventually I was catching the maintenance guys outside and begging them to do the repair and they dropped of a roll of screen and some spline and told me to do it myself! It turns out they gave me the wrong size spline so it wouldnt work anyhow. Finally a few weeks ago (after waiting 6 months!) someone came and put the screens up so that for the first time since we moved in we were able to enjoy our patio. The Bay Cove team continues to be unresponsive and continues to use the COVID pandemic to avoid responsibilities and obligations to their tenants. We were promised key fabs to access the fitness center and were told we would have them within about a month after we moved in. We were told that they received the new fabs and would be distributing them. Here we are 7 months later and I still dont have access to the gym that I pay for. But heres the kicker, some people do have access. For some reason we pay some of the highest rent in this community for a newly renovated unit (what a joke) and we dont have equal access to the property.I have never felt so helpless in a rental as here. The office remains locked up and they make it very hard to get a response (unless your a prospective tenant ;).I wish I could find one nice thing to say about this community or the selfish people running it.

When we moved in we loved the floors and the color schemes of the townhouse and the space that was afforded to our family, we were excited to be right by the pool and be able to see the ocean from our bedroom. We were assured that the townhouse was newly renovated and even had to wait to sign our lease because someone at the front had to “check and see if they were complete before we signed our lease”, but upon moving in we discovered the sliding glass door to the back porch was busted and didn’t lock, the upstairs bath was leaking through the floor into our living room, the AC was broken when we moved in, the second bathroom was leaking through the ceiling into the kitchen, the fan in the 1/2 bath was broken, all three toilets were filled with brown water and wouldn’t flush, needless to say it was FAR from newly renovated. It’s been 3 months and we’ve gradually come to learn that our maintenance request responses are typically sub-par to say the least, while the maintenance team is nice enough, things are often left undone because “they need to hire an outside contractor” or the maintenance team does not have what they need to fix the issue. Over the past 3 months our AC has gone out at least 5 times randomly... in 90 degree Florida... we’ve requested at least 8 times to have our porch roof fixed that has been broken since before we even moved in, the parking lot floods SO BAD when it rains from bad draining that we literally have to park 3 buildings over to park our car without flooding the engine and run through the rain and puddles with 2 toddlers and a dog to get to our front door. Overall, we definitely thought we were getting a very different experience than we were for the amount we’re paying. It’s unfortunate we’ve had such an experience, we really did have great expectations for this place.Edit:Updating from 1 star to 3 stars! The day after I posted this review I was contacted by the regional manager who was very kind and assured me that everything would be fixed correctly in a timely manner. The following day someone came and replaced our air conditioner. We’re hopeful to have our porch roof replaced in the next week or so! Will update accordingly!Edit (Again):Updating from 3 stars to 4 stars!Someone came out today to fix the porch roof! Woo!

WARNING DO NOT MOVE HERE!!! I DO NOT recommend moving here at all!!! When I moved into my apartment it was gross. It wasn’t clean at all and blue stains all over the carpet (carpet is sooo old and they too cheap to replace it). After moving my stuff in that day, I notice the smell of Cat URINE!! I don’t have a cat mind you!! I went straight to the office, same day, was promised new carpet and pet treatment... still have the same carpet months later! (I dare they try to charge me when I move out as I documented EVERYTHING)!! 5 days after I moved in I saw roaches everywhere in my apartment. I had to beg them to do a proper treatment (not just spraying which won’t work). They finally would then I’d be okay for a month then they would be back. I’ve never in my life had to live with roaches!! I’m not going to have to get new furniture when I move so I don’t bring any bugs with me to my new place!! I had A/C issues for months upon months, ac sitting at 78-80 degrees and unit just running. I was told over and over it was working great until it went out finally, like I told them it would. Instead of fixing it, on Friday I was told Monday morning we would be getting a new unit. Monday came around and yet again they slapped a bandaid on it and didn’t replace anything. I’ve had over $200 Duke bills in a one bedroom for a long time now!! The laundry room burnt down in the beginning of 2019, we are now in November and no update on it being fixed. What they have done, is fenced the area off and created a new dump site for their move outs and trash. It’s beyond disgusting!! This place just says filth to me! I’m so grossed out with everything thing here! Tim and leasing girls in the office have always done their best, but only so much they can do! Original maintenance when I moved in was amazing (they replaced almost the whole staff since). This one not so much, they walk around smoking cigarettes everywhere and act like they own this place. Not sure if they forgot that we pay to live here, this is unfortunately, our home!!! I’d give this place a 0 rating with a huge warning to others if I could!!!

I lived here for 2 years. Maintenance staff is great, but the property is quite run down. They’ve repainted the outside, so maybe they’ll redo the apartments inside next? This is my second year living here and I can honestly say Ive had no bug issues, maintenance was very responsive, and i live in the front of the complex where there are several dogs and children. I work during the day and on days Im off I hear nothing. The only dog I hear barking is the neighbor that lives across from me but only when it hears me coming up the stairs or my keys. Ive used the laundry facility once and Ive not had a problem with washing or drying. I have seen 2 palmettos in the 2 years Ive been here and the second one i think i let it in one night coming in late. Heres the thing. These apartments are not bad, just old. A few upgrades have been made with appliances, but yes I will agree there is a some patchwork here and there, but nothing enough to throw a fit, after all, you still moved in right? Ive had 2 maintenance issues in 2 years. One in each apartment. The first apartment was because the upstairs had a leak that went into my bathroom, which was in turn fixed immediately because of the potential danger of the situation. The second was just recently Ive discovered my garbage disposal didnt dispose. I put in my work order online and before I got home from work it was fixed. All I can say is anywhere you go you will see negative reviews especially from people who dont get what they want. Dont expect the Waldorf Astoria setting, but its not the projects either. The pricing is very comfortable considering the size of the apartments. I live in a one bedroom thats just under 900 feet and if the rent doesnt go too high I plan to renew. Please take into account that the negative reviews are all pretty much copy and paste for ANY apartment complex unless its brand new. I wont give it a 5 star because that would make it perfect, which its not, but it is certainly livable.

Like with anywhere youre going to rent, has its ups and downs. My apartment is not a renovated unit, but I love it - its clean, zero bugs and friendly neighbors. Ive had a few issues since moving here, the biggest was an error of my car getting towed. The property manager acknowledged the issue, apologized and credited to expense off the following months rent...mind you I was not the most friendly person that morning to deal with if Im being frank & Kelly still spoke with me, calmed me down and corrected the matter. There have been a lot of people moving out, seems to be evictions - with this residents that remain are seeing less and less issues related to parking and using facilities. In the past, you could NEVER have company and them get a visitors spot b/c of how many people where cramming into some of the apartments not being on the lease hogging parking spots. I have a friend that is over 2-3 times a week regularly and has not been towed. The cars that are getting towed, theres usually a reason.Since moving in Ive had a new water heater installed and new AC unit - so they do listen and take action when you bring issues to their attention. The turn around time varies, obviously pending on parts being ordered and shipped as well as if another unit as an emergency you might get bumped on the list (but imagine if you were the one with the emergency...youd expect to be priority as well...). The maintenance staff and/or contractors depending on the job being completed are always friendly and eager to help. My apartment the closet doors to my water heater and AC unit are possessed, its a joke between us. But really, if the closet doors are my biggest complaint....What residents dont understand is like with any business, there is always a chain of command and approvals needed. The leasing office cant just snap their fingers and make everyone happy at the same time. Its what you make of it, youll definitely get further being nice to the office staff than mean (speaking from personal experience), theyre there to help you...but still have to follow rules/approval processes. Communication is key.

This is not a place that I would recommend to live. They claim to have “renovated units”.The units are cheaply renovated. Nothing is holding up. The staff does not do any kind of cleaning prior to tenants moving on. I moved in to find live and dead roaches in my refrigerator, roaches all over the apartment, mold and old food caked in the drawer of the oven. They have a claim that they “love pets”.However, they place the weight of this on the tenants. Tenants have to let management know when to fill the dog pick up stations with more bags and when to empty the trash cans full of dog poo.I also want to mention the level of petty staff can reach. They will micromanage some tenants more than others. Some can have as many illegal tenants as they want and others have to explain everything they do. This is really fun with the “averaged out water bill”. My bill went from $24/month to over $90 with this new “fair water policy”.Shoutout to Arium for this review (the owners). They sent out a email asking for my feedback. If you decide to pick the Sad face, you are told the link can not be opened. But when you choose the happy face, you’re here. Most people won’t try any harder to voice their opinions, but people need to know why so many units are available all the time. This place is awful.

I have a 2/2.5 1400Sq ft apt with a decent view of the Gulf for under $900 a month. With the cheap rent I initially worried about what the neighborhood would be like, but Im happy to say the entire time I lived there, I never had 1 single security issue. I see people leaving negative reviews, it seems to me they are expecting to pay trailer park prices for island oasis living. For what this costs, I couldnt be happier. It also allowed me to save up and buy my very 1st home. If youre on the fence, take it from me, its not nearly as bad as some of these people make it sound. Perfect location, Huge Cheap apartments, Pools and Fitness Center, cant go wrong. Hope this helped!

We told them 6 months ago we weren’t renewing, their pest control people MOVED the reminder letter and I didn’t find it until 2 MONTHS later, therefore we are now required to pay an extra month to rent AFTER the lease is up bc they interfered. They also put 20+ 5 gallon buckets of paint in front of our front door, we are trying to move the hell out early and can’t even move our stuff bc it is in the way, we have asked them 3 separate times to move it. NEVER want to deal with them again. THE worst.

My family recently ended a 2 year stay at bay cove apartments. While there are pros and cons to all apartment communities, a majority of them for bay cove are cons.Pros –There are 3 pools and they are generally clean.I think we saw only 1 bug in our apartment in 2 years of stayNo rodents inside the apartment.Maintenance responses were generally promptEasy to apply and get approved with low deposit to get a unit.Pet friendlyCons-It is expensive for what you get (we were in a 3 bedroom)No insulation in most units, so your electric bill will rise to $300-$400 in the hot and lukewarm months.Water bill is not per unit, so we were often paying $120 - $140 for water. This price is not changed for people who do and do not have a washer dryer. If there is a leak 4 buildings from you, that over cost will be on your bill.Crime is significantly high. Our car was car hopped more than once in 2 years and there are cops somewhere on the property 3-4 times per week.Staff is nice but incompetent. They rarely call you back or have any knowledge to answer questions. The only one that can answer questions is typically not at his desk and will also fail to call you back.Apartments are hot. I am in a home now and we keep our air at 78-80 because it is too cold. In the apartment, we kept the air at 74 and we were often sweating. Very little circulation.Due to no insulation, there is no sound prevention. If you are on a lower floor, you will hear everything. Since Bay cove is pet friendly, you will also hear the animals at all ours of the day/night.The manager of the property is very rude and will treat you like trash, regardless of being a tenant or not. She once got nasty with my pregnant wife because she was to far in pregnancy to carry a stroller up the stairs before I got home from work.AC is so poorly installed that the new AC techs that replaced my unit took photos to show their boss how bad it was. My unit did not drop below 82 degrees for the first 6 months and I took me calling their corporate office to get things moving. The playground for children is not very safe and falling apart. Typically full of trash and the swings are not safe for children. While there were no rodents in the unit, we would often find dead rats on the sidewalks and parking lots. They would be there for multiple days/weeks without pickup.People do not care about trash who live there. The dumpster’s would be overflowing and you would not be able to even get in where the dumpster are housed due to a mountain of garbage.I could keep going with cons but you get the idea. Only rent at bay cove if it is a last resort and you only plan to be there for less than a year.

This place is alright if youre staying for an extreme short amount of time. I havent had problems with roaches the other reviewers probably are just dirty and cant learn to clean. But this place still isnt that great and thats just most apartment places. So when we first moved in we have a terrible neighbor. She left her dog outside on the deck and neglected it with no food or water and it crapped everywhere on her deck. And it would bark so loud at 11pm at night. We called the cops and they took care of it and so far havent heard the dog. The apartment size for the upstairs two bedroom is pretty spacious and good for the price. The air is nice and keeps the place cool. But the outside deck doesnt have a roof and some do. And management wont do it for you so you have to do it yourself. And this place is so packed and neighbors are so f-ing noisy its ridiculous and the walls are paper thin so you can hear everything and I mean everything. And parking is extremely limited so if you have more than one vehicle youre screwed. Also watch out for dog poop in the grass.

I loved having the amenities. But.. The bug issue was the worst. Florida law states the landlord is responsible but they have the tenants pay a fee. Roaches were bad we finally got them under control. Within our first week in the 3 bdrm apartment (which was beautiful) , my daughter was bitten by bedbugs. Went to the doctor to find out. Then she saw one.. The walls are infested. They treated it.. (Although originally they wanted us to pay for it) treatment drove them back into the walls. We are out 2 sofas and 2 beds. Also make sure to find out how many months you have... We found out we had an 11 month lease.

My car was towed 5 days later and it was damaged in the tow. The damage was $2344.58 and the cost for the tow impound was $138. Is this how you treat a good resident that has been with you for 4 years? You have no respect for the residents just so you can get $58 kick back on the towing. This is all a scam. This very poor management.1/25/19 They take is so seriously they do nothing about it. Very poor Managemant.

Im not one to normally post stuff like this online but some things need to be addressed. My mom was looking for a 2 bedroom and came across Bay Cove online and was intrigued by the pricing so we decided to check them out in person. First thing we noticed was when you walk in the office it smelled like straight pee. The bathroom in the leasing office was wide open and assuming thats where the smell was coming from. So we got information from the person in the office and then he took us on a tour. Well he showed us a vacant apartment at the time, I guess they dont have a model or something which is ok. The apartment not only smelled gross but was apparently dirty. From the floors to the kitchen to the bathrooms. Not a good impression in my opinion. Service itself wasnt horrible. Didnt feel very genuine but the guy was polite.

I currently live here and cannot wait to move. We had major problems from the beginning such as a water leak, dirty streaked carpet when we moved in (which got replaced after we had them walk through and see the apparent disregard for cleanliness). From then we continued to have maintenance issues, big and small. Our a/c went out several times before finally being replaced. The circuit breaker needed replacing after our power went out several times over one month span of time. Originally I wasnt going to add a poor review until the icing on the cake happened, which was #1 the pool closest to us and most convenient is not cleaned regularly and looks cloudy most days and #2 our electric bill is almost $400! This place is older and continues to show its age through breakdowns and poor upkeep. There are 1 or 2 fair/good maintenance employees and the response to requests are of average rating, but other than the size of the living space and location, it does not have much else going for it. Im looking forward to moving when our lease is up. I would say of the apartments we have lived in, these have been the most stressful to live in. The key for residents is for them to come home knowing they can relax after a long day.

It took threats of legal action from me before they took care of a bee infestation on my back porch, after multiple calls and office visits beforehand. There are two laundry rooms on site, and the largest one has been closed for over a week with no signs of being reopened, leaving everyone in the complex without a washer and dryer to rely on the VERY SMALL one in the back or go off site. The screen on my back porch, as well as everyone on the 2nd floor apartments in the complex have not been reattached after the complex was painted over a month ago, leaving all manner of bugs to invade my back porch, yet everyone on the ground floor appears to have had all their screens replaced or reattached. The only upside to this place is that maintenance is really quick. Thats why I left it at 2 stars.I would recommend going to a better complex if you have the option.

They played in the yard area for 15 minutes and he left and they tried to hit me with another pet fee. Not once, not twice, but three times in a 4 month period. DO NOT MOVE HERE! The ONLY pro to moving here is the location. Roaches and rats are treated like acceptable community members. Maintenance takes at least 5-10 days just to look at and assess your request and then even more time to half ass fix it.We sent SEVERAL request to have our apartment inspected due to mold. They sent a maintenance guy to take a lint brush and attempt to wipe the mold from the fan and vents. The mold still remains and weve taken pictures. Still no response from management. We will be talking to a lawyer and the county. The mold has caused respiratory reactions as well as skin reactions. These people only care about money. The management turnover is unbelievable. They never answer the phone and do not send proper communications to residence regarding emergency water shut offs. While we lived at this horrible place, kids ran rampant on the playground. They played barefoot in the dog park, transferring dog feces into the pools. The management somehow felt this was not their concern. The walls are paper thin so be prepared to hear literally everything your neighbor is doing and saying. You will pay for their so called amenities such as a business area with computers and a printer, as well as a fitness facility but they close these once they lock the office, so dont expect to be able to print anything or do any homework or business if you are a normal 9-5 employee.Their slogan is The Lifestyle you Deserve..... I dont know ANYONE who deserves to live like this. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere.

Do not live here for your own safety. There are issues like things in the unit breaking all of the time and maintainence taking awhile. That I can deal with, what made me pissed enough to write this: I moved in a few months and had trouble, with a recent neighbor (he thought our door was too noisy even after getting it looked at), resulting in them leaving a bullet on my doormat. Called the police and they informed I had to go through management for it. A girl named Marissa, or similar to that, right away said its not their problem and the police deal with it. Oh Boy worst place to live at ! These people are a SCAM !! To begin with maintenance is the worst ever to deal with. They dont care if your apartment is falling into pieces, they will take forever to do work and fix any issues and they leave things half done. Everything inside is old. The cabinet doors are falling in pieces. And when you leave the apartment they will find a way to keep your huge deposit of 250.00 . They even charged me for light bulbs and the stove drip pans as if that doesnt get all burned in just one cook. Also, in your monthly rent they will prorate based on what all the residents have wasted on water, meaning, your water bill is not metered based on your usage, it is based on one full amount. So I lived alone but still they charged me $100.00 of water every month on water as if I would take jacuzzi bath every day . It was sick ! I complained but no one cares ! They always have something smart to say. And careful, make sure you read all those small letters on your lease because it can come back to bit you once your lease has terminated. What else, theres so much I can say. The only nice thing was the space of the apartments and the nice view of the ocean and the bridge. Good Luck !!! If I were you, I wouldnt rent , unless you want to live among roaches and thousands of ants creeping in your food !

Countless problems. Dishonest, unpleasant management. Six months into my lease, the screens to my porch were ripped out and never returned. Rent then was increased due to “renovations.” The AC broke and their solution was to run a power cable through a window to a backup. This was never fixed. After paying an exorbitant rate for month-to-month rent, I was hit with a 1500 dollar fee for “leaving without proper notice” which isn’t true at all. The security deposit was never returned, and no reason was given. And none of these problems even touch on how unsanitary, run down, and unpleasant the actual complex is. Stay away from this nightmare and move somewhere else.

More pros to us.ProsStaff is friendly, has 3 clean pools, great landscaping, love the dog potty bag stands (cant blame the apartments for dog poop because they enforce it in every way possible, some people are just like that...), nice water view, when we need service it gets taken care of within 2 days (our ac kept not cooling and after 3 tries of fixing it they ordered us a brand new one), apartment layouts are nice, location is perfect, plenty of parking for cars and guests, gym...ConsWhen we moved in there were roaches and they have pest control available every Monday, but we got our own company to come out which works better. We have absolutely no bugs. Sliding glass door isnt the best due to this is an old settled building. If you have kids try to avoid this place. Since the new manager took over the past year my kids have been accused of tearing up a fencing that was terribly worn before we moved in over 4 years ago. The office just now got it fixed. The manager personaly stormed up to my boys, 7 and 11, and pointed her finger at them and asked with 100 percent accusation and attitude, Did you tear that up? You better stay away from it! She didnt even wait for an answer. I know this because I saw and watched her from just inside the patio door, which looks over the grassy area that my boys play in. My 7 year old was the one the office took their attention to. There was not just the manager but a neighbor and another office person (whom did stay out of it, He has always been respectful). My 7 year old was crying because he was so confused why he was being questioned. Needles to say I intervened as soon as i could walk around a 2 year old who was blocking my way out. Yesterday the office finally fixed that torn up fencing. my boys were outside no more then 2 minutes and some neighbor is yelling at them to if they run around the fence they are told to take a picture and take it to the office. The boys are NOT touching the fence just running around it, which I can see. I am now resorting to setting the video camera up every time my boys play in the grass and record it. THAT should NOT be necessary but this friendly living is a joke. Another neighbor has told me how sweet and respectful my boys are and that is because she has actually talked with them. Everyone else just ASSUMES.now when it comes to my ratings: Noise is 50/50. Grounds: could be better if they didnt take over 4 years to fix stuff and if they would hire painters that didnt slap paint all over the windows. Safety: that one is ify. We live on the quieter side evidently but police are in the center of the complex a lot. Neighbors: I guess 50/50. Maintenance: sometimes it can take awhile to fix something but otherwise the maintenance guys are very friendly. Staff: Tim is great, I dont think the ladies at the front desks are givin much to work with because they usually dont know why something is or why there is an issue. I think you know my opinion on the manager. Everyone i talk to has the very same opinion on her.

I lived there for 3 years and let me tell you how it went. I lived on the bottom floor in the G building. Water leaked from the ceiling in the kitchen and the ceiling was literally warped from water damage. They did nothing to repair it except tell me they are replacing the roof soon. Under the sink had black mold seaping through. All maintenance did was cover it up with another piece of plywood!! When I called the office a 2nd time and complained that its black mold, they sent maintenance, again, to replace it. Everything in the apt is old and dingy. Bathrooms dont have ac vents so keep the door open when you shower. If you dont want your kids finding spoons and needles, dont let them go near the office in the back by the fitness center. Expect a high electric and water bill. I live in a 1700 square ft house now and Im paying around $80 to $100 less for EACH than what I was paying at bay cove. Now, lets get to the good part..... I bought my house in April so I had to break my lease. I knew I had to pay the fee for breaking a lease. Understandable. But they will charge you an enormous amount of made up damages for wall paint, carpet, and other BS they could think of. Thats where they get you. Once I closed on my house, April 8th, I had until May 1st to move out since I already paid for the month. Plus I wanted to get the new house ready before I fully moved in. Within a week new neighbors moved up stairs and broke a water pipe and it completely flooded my whole apartment. My stuff was ruined! And Im not talking about a little flood. Water was ankle deep and it was pouring out of all light fixtures! Master bedroom/bathroom was worse. It took them 8 hours to send someone to get rid of the water. and they left a huge, dirty mess in the bathroom that I refused to clean. It was bay coves job to clean up what they and the neighbor caused. THEN they put 2 huge dehumidifiers to dry out the walls on MY electric bill. I told the manager I wanted to be refunded for their use of them. She told me No! There was so much water damage that the master bathroom sink on the bottom started rotting. She then asked if I could move out 2 weeks sooner so they can dry it and rent it out. No problem lady, youre disgusting and bay cove is disgusting. I would never recommend them to anyone. Now back to the charges.... $3500 to break my lease and pay for complete BS damages. Whatever, I called and left voice messages 4 times kindly asking them how they want me to pay for it. NO ONE returned my call. Within 2 weeks I get a collection notice! I attempted 4 times and they ignored me knowing they were sending it to collections. I didnt even know you could send a bill to collections that fast. Either way I still paid it. Hope the manager got mad about it too!

People sit on their patios and outside peoples Windows to have loud conversations on the phone and yell at their tv. Not sure how they can say they do background checks when you can see drugs deals happening daily. The office is quick to send a letter with nothing to back up their accusations. Such as where my dog is doing its business, when my dog uses a pad inside the house and never goes out of the house. They let cars sit that dont operate or have flat tires for a year and a half. All people have to do to not have their car towed is take the going to be towed sticker off their windshield. One dumpster for 20 or so buildings, located all the way in the front. Not enough stop signs so driving through here is like driving in a place without laws. Pools have been green at times from not being cleaned. There is dog crap everywhere throughout the complex as well as tons of dirty and mud in the paved parking areas which will lead to you cleaning your car weekly if you want it to look nice. Always something wrong in the apartment, and the maintenance guys are just that, yet they work on the AC and plumbing like they know what they are doing. Cant wait to move out of here.
