The driver on our route seems to be the new typical for rumple. He drives the truck wearing earphones, every time he stops he ensures to angle the truck in a manor so traffic can not pass. Now he didnt pickup our trash and rumple refused to send a truck to pick it up due to the driver stating it was not on the curb. Im definitely finding a new trash removal service.

While I would certainly recommend Rumple, I would also suggest searching for another service that allows for the recycling of styrofoam and plastic bags. The service that we have received has been great. I just find that recycling these few other items is rather difficult in Cincinnati. Perhaps this is an issue in the industry as a whole and not necessarily the fault of Rumpke.

We have had nothing but positive experiences with Rumpke and the drivers. They are hard working, take care of of the cans not throwing them around and never do I see trash on the ground after they are gone. They have taken care of several large items with no complaints.NO one could ask for a better waste management company

December 26, 2019 the gentleman who drove by to collect the trash stopped to help my wife and myself lift our 168 pound dying mastiff into our Jeep. Without his kindness I don’t know how we would have gotten him in the car to get him to the vet. Such an amazing act of kindness!!

We have been living at our current home for almost 4 years now. During that time, they have always picked up our trash when I placed it out. Now all of a sudden, they are saying that our trash is not close enough to the curb (its on the sidewalk before the curb) and are trying to refuse pickup. Our pickup date is on Tuesday and it is now Thursday and our trash is still in the same location that it has always been in. They claimed that they have left stickers, which I have never seen, stating that our trash isnt close enough. Again its in the same location that its been in for almost 4 years. Customer services reps are rude and will not give us an exact date as to when someone will come and get our trash.

I’ve had service for nearly 6 weeks and still waiting on garbage can. Was told it would be delivered in 2-3 weeks, after 3 weeks I called again and was told it had been delivered a week earlier. Of course no can that’s why I called back. Was then told it would be delivered by the middle of the week, again no can. Called on a Thursday and was called back Friday telling me it would be here Saturday. Hmmm it’s Sunday and again no can. Calling Monday, if they can’t have one here by Wednesday I’m going with another service. UPDATE called Monday and told them and guess what arrived first thing Wednesday morning? Upgraded from 2 to 4 stars because their service is good other than the can issue.

5 weeks now since complaining about the careless garbage man destroying our 2 garbage cans now in less than a month! Driver often leaves garbage at the bottom of the cans un- dumped or on the ground. Dump all the trash out!! DO YOUR JOB! That’s what I am paying you to do!!Worst company to use! I will be switching to their competitors service! They dont care at all about their customers. Their customer service department is the worst! BEAWARE!!!!!Worthless online and over the phone customer service!! They are complete liars. Call after call after call after call!! On hold then put on hold again and again and again!!Then emailed and emailed them again and again !! No replies..They lie to you over and over saying that they will call you back but they never do! Lie after lie after lie!!Save your hard earned money and spend it wisely with another company. You will have less headaches, less wasted time and less wasted money.

Put a dining room chair that was broken at the curb to be picked up and they left it. They leave garbage cans in the street and in the middle of peoples driveways. This is a regular dining chair. All wood and not big at all.

Problem after problem trying to get my recycling can emptied. The driver comes half way up the street and leaves its been 2 weeks now it has been at the curb because every time I call they assure me someone will be here to pick it up !!! No one ever does!!! After this review I will be contacting corporate its getting to be REDICULOUS!!!

I have issues with the company charges.Along with what I pay every 3 months they want to charge for extra items , its trash. Really......Had a bedroom dresser and headboard They wanted 75 dollars for a truck or 15 dollars a piece each week only 1 item a week ..........or I could bring it to the plant for 35 dollars. Omg the recycle stinks the fellow half empties the can and then gets back in his truck and drivesxaway sometimes he doesnt even show up...........For all the new buildings and etc they are doing you would hope they would at least consider doing a good job...................Most of the drivers act like they are doing you a favor by taking the trash but once again I am paying and they are getting paid...they put the totes whenever they want never back where they got them from. And when you try to ask a question about pickup they dont want to pick up any thing ............I have learned since not to deal with rumpke I put my trash out And find my totes and bring it back to my house ,I bagg my yard waste and I make sure I do not have any large items I cut them with a saw and put in containers I will not pay rumpke more than I do already .........Customer service has always been very helpful and nice .

I ordered a dumpster over the phone, and was told i needed 30Lx12Wx25H to drop it at my house. i have almost 3 times the recommended space to put the dumpster, but he told me he didnt want to try to drop it because he didnt have to space (he didnt even make one attempt to drop it) just said nope cant do it and took off. i then called them back and told them i have another house down the street and he could drop it off there and i could move the material. the dispatcher told me since he had already left the house i would be charged the dry run fee. if you need a dumpster go with WM or another co. rumpke charged me 100 dry run fee when i had 3 time the space they said i needed to drop the dumpster.

I have not had a pick up since little bit after christmas, i called thay said they would pic it up next week, well after about a month and a hlf with servuce I cancelled well its been about two and a half weeks later I called again to find out when they were going to pick it up they told me Im sorry a lady named Mary told me they were going to credit me for not picking it up and I said well I cancelled she said it wasnt on record so theyre going to find me for early cancellation okay but after 2 months of not having my trash picked up I would assume thats a breach of contract please everyone out there do not go through Rumpke, this is my experience and I would hope someone takes this serious because I had to buy a new dumpster service a month after they failed to pick me up the first time I cancelled

My pickup day is Friday, because of thanksgiving it was moved to Saturday( states this on their website), so I take my trash out Friday evening around 6:30. I had to be at work Saturday at 4 a.m. and wasnt going to try to get up any earlier to make sure it was out! I come home at 12:30p.m., trash still out by the road, sent Rumpke an email, driver said it wasnt out when he was driving by, not true! So I get an email stating that my pickup is Friday December 1st! Did I mention that he also forgot to pick it up on November the 10th and was sent back on the 14th, or 15th to pick it up? So, basically hes lying, POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!

We have a 3 year old who is awakened screamimg every Wednesday at about 3:45am when one of theyre drivers comes by to collect a nearby dumpster. After several called in complaints this is still an ongoing issue with no apparent resolution. Rumpke must be okay with traumatizing toddlers.

Its a landfill, hours should be posted on the site. Per their fact sheet The landfill is open to residential customersMonday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday from 7 a.m. to noon.

I requested a quote for trash pick up. Apparently in Rumpkes world that means they are to start serves. They never delivered a tash can, but they did send me a bill. Shady business practices if you ask me.

Where to start!?We moved into our current location just over one year ago and I have kept a tally since the first mishap. 16 calls in just over one year. On average over one call per month to get a problem handled. Having to call someone to correct their singular duty every single month is beyond sub par.Since moving in we have had weeks (up to 5) with no garbage or recycling pick up. Usually this was solved after having to call after a week of no pickup and having to send someone out to do so. About six months ago we had multiple weeks without pickup. After calling and talking to their call center we found that for each bin we had a completely new account was created for our address. So a bill was not being paid because someone created a completely different account for the same address. This would be the same as getting a completely separate bill on a separate account for the same family plan on a phone.After getting the separate bill consolidated to one account we had another two weeks without pickup as the person I spoke to the first time did consolidate said accounts but didnt delete the first and then actually created ANOTHER account. In fact now having one account with our bill and two accounts left open and in their eyes, unpaid. Therefore not picking up our trash.A representative convinced us to sign up for recycling. 4 weeks went by with no recycling bin. Contacted their representative and asked where our recycling bin was, had now been paying for it for a month. He finally sent someone out to deliver.They delivered ANOTHER trash can. We now had THREE trash cans with no recycling. Flash forward two more weeks and they pick up extra trash can and deliver the recycling bin. As originally quoted we were supposed to have the second trash can picked up as we can recycle almost all of our waste, they did not. More on this later.June 20, 2017 was the last date of recycling pick up, now last week of July. After 5 weeks of no pick up I called to cancel our recycling. Ive had it at this point. Actually contacted other waste removal providers, but Rumpke has an exclusive contract to the area. Asked the representative at the call center to cancel my recycling and refund for at least the last month of recycling. Additionally, I asked to have our second can removed as we only fill one.What do you know, Rumpke sprinted out here and picked up that recycling bin within two days! Still have not had second can picked up, now over a week later.Needless to say, this is a passing the buck situation. One person after another not taking any responsibility for their duty to serve the people who employ them.
