Review №1

It says we have our rating based on a fb rating of 3 stars with no name attached to it and no review.Been in business 47 years this year. Live in Wyoming and have an acre business property in Woodlawn Ohio. Have been an ISA Certified Arborist for 23 years now since the program began earning 30 credits each 3 year increment to stay on top of new education and technology. Qualified for the Risk Assessment Credential. Studied for 30 years with Dr. Alex Shigo, Father of Modern Arboriculture. Capable of removing ANY tree in any location. Well versed in diagnosis and treatment.Have a vast clientele through Wyoming and Glendale, etc. Have a massive amount of equipment including our own 140 25 ton rear mount crane, 55 bucket truck and 75 bucket, huge woodchipper and backup, big stump grinder and smaller tracked unit. Spray equipment. 9 trucks including dump trucks, and dump trailer, mini grapple skid loader etc etc. Sophisticated woodsplitting equipment with conveyor.Must be doing something right.----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Part 2. I feel compelled to respond to Megatrons recent review. Mr. Ruben Rivera was fired a few weeks ago for disrespect, insubordination, refusal to wear PPE (personal protective equipment) in the form of safety glasses and hard hat, while working under deadwood, chipping and operating our stump grinder, running rakings from the driveway and sidewalks thru the chipper (causing a $1600. repair, re kniving), refusal to stop playing rap music on the job which had been dealt with previously, refusal to wear company shirts (which lets clients and their neighbors know a stranger is not walking on their yards). The recent arguments on properties mentioned were 1. PPE 2. Rap music blared, 3. Arguing about pay (he gets top pay anywhere in capacity of a groundman and I recently gave him paid days off) and desired bonus (hell he worked for a month or 2 and he wants a bonus!) 4. gravel into the chipper ( I could enclose a picture of ground up, gouged chipper knives) and 5. he put an extension ladder in the chipper box sticking way out and did not tell me and when the truck turned it bowed the ladder, destroying it and gouged the chipper (which he lied and said he did not do and later tried to give me a $50. bill which I did not take). As for abandoning him on jobs...just leaving for a short period to bid work and shuffle equipment, get gas, or go in my office if nearby and make a few business calls, etc. is common procedure. This recent paranoia about being abandoned while raking a residential lawn is, well, very suspect to say the least. As for him having to do all this work alone...it is not that difficult with all the equipment I have and at 70 years old I could still do every bit of it by myself. When done in the tree I help out. Hell, if I hired someone else he would just fight with them. I called his old boss he referenced and Mike from Mikes Tree Service in Cleveland said he had 7 employees and Ruben was fighting with every one of them. He could not fire all the others so Ruben was fired. He moved down here to a house I assisted in him attaining for his wife and kids and his wife recently left him, he moved into his brothers basement and got in a fight with him and was thrown out, moved into a motel and at last word was fighting with a fellow motel resident on a daily basis.Ruben is a delightful person and very talented groundman...most of the time. But when the weather gets nasty and jobs become more difficult, he becomes brooding, sullen, and insubordinate. I hope he works things out.I could tell stories for hours about previous employees (drug overdoses on the job, fighting, intoxication, no shows no calls, etc etc) but will leave it said that I will put the best crew on your job daily. If I get less than stellor performance from our crew...I will change it immediately. It is only a $25. Craigslist ad away. Have no idea who reviewer Greg Rogers is.

Highly recommend Shaw Tree Surgeons. They came out today and cleared out the deadwood from our read oak. Excellent bucket work and Dave’s a bit of an artist in removing limbs from over our home. Very grateful for their work today!

Recently used Shaw Tree Surgeons and my experience in using them was outstanding. Had 2 Oak trees cabled, with some trimming and 4 trees removed. Dave and his crew are very professional, knowledgeable and do a very thorough and complete job, start to finish. The equipment they use enables them to the job very safely while maintaining total respect for the property they are working on. Completely satisfied and highly recommend Shaw Tree Surgeons,
