My lawn has never looked so good and felt so soft. I never thought I could afford a lawn service, but their prices are so reasonable. I love seeing how beautiful my yard is every day. On top of all that, their staff is wonderful! 100% recommended!!

Pretty abysmal lawn service. Had them for around 2.5 years and the lawn still looks awful. Their weed control is non existent unless you call them constantly. After all this time I asked why my lawn doesnt look better. They said I have bad soil. No kidding!!!! They told me to replace the yard, weve been here 4 years. Helllooooo!!! Save your money and steer clear of this company.

They were always professional and took great care when it came to making sure my dogs were loose in the back yard, never came out unannounced like Trugreen, never sprayed their chemicals near my dogs water bowl, and made sure that they came out on a schedule date that fit my time. The only complaint Id have is they sold to Trugreen who has sprayed my dogs water bowl repeatedly with their chemicals, show up unannounced and give me free pest control like that would be something Id be happy about when poisoning my animals. Ill miss Unique

I built my house in 2004 and have had a lawn care service every year since. I hired Unique Lawn Care in August 2018. I have one picture of the backyard that I took for a tree trimming service in 2017 and a picture of my cats looking out into the back yard which will serve as the BEFORE pictures back when I had green grass. I will let the remaining pictures taken in October 2019 speak for themselves. Unique Lawn Care did burn up my lawn in July. They said they would fix the lawn and offered slice seeding which they finally did mid-October. Unfortunately, the ground was hard and I believe the ground could not be sliced. The seed are still laying on the ground. When initially soliciting my business, they said We will have your lawn looking like a golf course. Anyone up for golf? Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere.

Beware! 6/10/21 I have the tech on video driving around the yard supposed to be fertilizing with no fertilizer coming out of the hopper. Chris the Owner of this location says maybe the tech didn’t know it wasn’t spreading and in the same sentence to justify the one pass through my neighbors yard that the spreader has a 8ft spread span that could cover the entire front yard and you mean to tell me he wouldn’t see that it wouldn’t be spreading????? The bs went on and on! Not a grain on the driveway, sidewalk, mulch bed or street at my house or my neighbors that they did, but coincidentally they fertilized both sewer lids in the yard and pointed those to spots having fertilizer on them and only those two when they came to observe the issue. Per Chris, Techs are that good that they don’t get any fertilizer on the driveway, sidewalk, mulch bed, etc etc! When I say I could not find one spec anywhere in these places, I mean not one! I’m not exaggerating either.They ought to be ashamed of themselves.P.S. Kevin the regional manager is just as shady, just a little more refined.Ripoff company all the way from the tech to regional manager.

Im conflicted with this company. On one hand the people are good and do what they say they will do. On the other hand the products dont always work on the yard; still, they come back and reapply the chemicals. I suspect because of the quality of the yard we need a company that takes a more personal approach to the yard.

Didn’t even use this company and am really disappointed with the way I was treat earlier by an employee. So the employee was speeding down my street when a friend and I were getting in the car and he almost hit my friend actually. I signaled him to slow down and he slammed on the brakes real hard.. and got out of the car and cussed both my friend out about how he was only going 25.. he was easily going 45. Kids play outside and it’s not a busy street so people will be out more. If i could do less than a one star I would. I even almost called the police I felt so threatened. Would love to chat with the owner of this company.

Shame on me for not reading the reviews. My yard looks worse after 1 year of Unique Lawn Care handling. Thankfully, I stopped the bleeding in time to save my lawn. My favorite part was when the customer service rep told me, we cant prevent weeds from popping up in your lawn. I was even more shocked when the office manager repeated it. When i asked why my neighbors lawn care company could prevent them, they told me you cant compare lawns. Well, I can, and now that guy on the mower is handling my lawn care.

One year ago I moved into my home and the lawn was a tangled mess of mostly weeds. I decided to give them a chance as they are a local business. I didnt expect to see results in such a short period of time. By early spring I started receiving compliments on how nice the lawn was looking. Additionally, any time I had to call they were professional and very polite.

10/2/19 Update: I officially sent a note to cancel service today. Despite the current heat wave, I have never been happier with my lawn. I have done my first round of Scotts fertilizer and weeds are now at a minimum.Planning to kill the rest myself and seed those areas - Frankly my own TLC is better than trusting it to them.8/23/19 Update: I went out last weekend and bought Round-up Crabgrass spray. Its a miracle! Weeds are finally dying. No comments or calls from the company, yet. Interestingly, I am 85% sure I saw Tony drive past the house while I was cutting the grass (would have been a great time to check in and see how things are going --- but he just kept on driving). I will let you know if/when I ever get any acknowledgement from them.I have been a customer for 5 or 6 years. Twice, they killed major sections of my front lawn. To their credit, they slice-seeded for free. Prompting me to give them one more year (the last slice seeding was last Fall). I think they are out of chances. Each year starts with promise and ends with weeds that spread all over the lawn. I live on a corner lot, so I recognize I am more susceptible. But my neighbors do very little and have lawns that look better than mine. I am spending too much time and money to be told that it is just too hot to kill the weeds. Today is 8/15/19 - If they say they cant find me in their system, consider that a HUGE red flag as I have not officially cancelled, yet. Pictures (are worth a 1000 words) of my lawn after 1 year service. Pretty typical of lawn services these days, tell you anything to get your business and certainly will do free come backs if you arent happy but should I really need to tell you I still have weeds in my lawn? Should I have to tell you where they are at? Really???? If I had time to do that Id do it myself..... Thats why I hired you....You are the pros I have more weeds and more bare spots in my lawn one year after they started than before, and I actually had a pretty nice lawn and have had it professionally treated for 7 years. The techs just really dont take the time to truly manage and care for a lawn. Very unhappy with the results after a years service. Save your money and do it yourself. It will be cheaper and most likely you will be much happier with the results.

In our 2nd yr with Unique. Only noticeable improvement was thedandelions never came back. This year we spent over $400 to have new grass grow under a tree in our front yard with a private contractor and it came in beautiful. After Uniques last application in Aug our yard has multiple areas where it looks like they poured bleach on the grass and its all dead along with our beautiful new grass we just paid for. I sent a letter to the company along with pictures of the damage they created over a week ago but of course no response. I guess I will be the next one the owner responds to as not having any record of me in their system ! BEWARE IF YOU ARE CONSIDERING USING THIS COMPANY !!!!!

Told them multiple times, stay away from my garden. Again they killed part of it. Patience and customer satisfaction goes a long way, rather than speed and I need to get home. Done with them

Unlike their competitors, I know I can rely on Unique Lawn care to show up and actually apply their product. I’ve witnessed many that show up and sit outside the residence for a few minutes and then leave. I get a lot of compliments on our lawn. Your staff is always professional and kind. Thank you!

I wanted a local company and this was the only one I could find that actually used the safest products for my lawn. I have a small puppy and after learning about the products and people doing the work I decided to work with Unique. I am so glad I did. My lawn looks great and the service is excellent. Three years and starting number four this year.

I typically never bash a company due to the fact that everyone is human and some make mistakes but I have to say the customer service lady I talked to was very nice and helpful but our salesman signed us up after we call and canceled the service in oct of 2019 but they just did a treatment last week. The yard didn’t look good at all since they took over but I’m going to just do it myself so I know what goes on the lawn and when

I used their service whole 1 year and nothing changed even my lawn became worse. I advise them to my friends and I regretted .Never again. Service guy finish everything in 2-5 min. 👎👎👎

My husband asked them to spray the weeds at the side of my home and they sprayed my flowers and left the weeds to take over the beds of my plants. I also have a great amount of crab grass in my yard that I never had before. Not happy.

I would highly recommend this company. After just two treatments to the yard I noticed major improvements. The grass was a beautiful thick dark emerald green color and completely weed free. I love that theyre local too.

Tell your technicians to stay off non-customer lawns! Today, a technician showed up to treat my neighbors lawn across the street. Instead of parking in front of their house, he decides to park in front of mine and unloads/loads his equipment through my lawn where I have freshly laid grass seed. How can a lawn tech be this oblivious? Also, I have no idea what product(s) were applied to my neighbors lawn and your technician just tracks whatever it was into my lawn on his tires.

Poor customer service and communication. Lot of bald spots in my yard. Weeds dont seem to go away. Only good thing I saw is that their payment plans are pretty flexible. I tried unique lawn care despite their poor online reviews, as one of my colleagues had recommended. Would not recommend to others.

Unique Lawn Care serviced my lawn for 2 years, Had the complete program with aeration and grub control. After 2 years, the lawn looks worse than it did when I started with Unique. Grass is thin with many bare spots. And, to make it worse, appears there is significant grub damage. Obviously, theyre not my lawn company for a third year..........

Used this service for the first time this summer (2020), I havent seen much of a change in the yard.

More than twice now we have had green streeks in our yard after treatment. We called and complained and they came out and retreated for free. Something for free is not what we want, price doesnt matter. We want results. Ground ivy grows like crazy. They treat the yard and you can see some of it start to die off but you can look 12 inches to either side of the ground ivy dieing and the ivy is green and looks like it got fertilized to grow better. I dont think they know what the hell they are doing and dont care. We r going to stop their service cause my neighbor uses another company and their yard looks awesome all the time. Unique sucks just like their 2 star rating with over 70 reviews. Dont waist your money.

We have had Unique Lawn Care for several years. Our lawn has never looked better. We get compliments from neighbors walking by.The employees of Unique are very helpful. They call us prior to our service to make sure the dogs won’t be exposed. We made a great choice when we picked Unique to take care of our lawn.

Unique lawn care been providing me lawn service for nearly a year. I have tried to give them a chance because they were keep saying they are local business, however it has been a disappointing experience. My yard is filled with weeds. I have had problems with insects that they did not fix it.

Funny how they have no record of every bad review......They came out for my first treatment on Feb 25th (a day before they said they were coming). It was a cold (44 degrees) and wet day and rained for hours that evening...I think I am going to cancel tomorrow.

We have had Unique Lawn Care for years. Last fall we experienced a problem with our lawn due to too much rain. Unique Lawncare re-seeded our lawn without charging us. This spring, the lawn has returned beautifully.

We used Unique Lawn for 2-3 years but just this month fired them. The last straw was when they applied weed killer on a blazing hot day just after July 4th. That application pretty much killed the whole front yard. They said they would send a supervisor out but they never did. My yard looks worse now than before we switched to them. Do yourself a favor and stay away from them, to many other great lawn care companies to use, stay away

Most of the time excellent but sometimes not complete coverage. Probably depends on the help they get. Overall impressed with customer service. Definitely a great value compared to other estimates Ive had. Ive used them over 5 years (taking of 1.5 years when lost job). Some reviews are not good but Ive not experienced anything bad, just good to excellent and so will keep using them. Very happy with the annual subscription price. Thanks Unique!

Never used a service before, but they explained that even though the price is double what other services are, they provide superior service. I do go for the more expensive services, so that sounded good to me. However, they are far from good at anything. I have places they cant drive their machine, and instead of getting out the hose, they just do the places they can drive, and the rest have weeds. They promised a gypsum treatment and never performed it.They want you to register at their website, so I did and posted there what my problems were with the weeds and gypsum treatment. They call back during the day when I dont have time to deal with them. They cant seem to just go back and do what they are supposed to do. Instead, they leave messages to call them back. They are not smart enough to figure out that some people want to pay extra for the privilege of NOT HAVING TO CALL THEM all the time to get proper servicing.I paid a year in advance with a check when I reviewed their material and saw that they automatically renew your service. I am going to cancel before my year is up and if they try to perform more inferior services after I cancel, I will NOT pay them a penny. You can get far better service for half of the price, and you wont have to chase people around to get the services for which you paid far too much.AVOID AT ALL COSTS. (Which is double what you should be paying.)

When I signed on with Unique Lawn Service I was told my yard would be aerated with the first service as well as other extras.( I called because the aeration wasnt done but they assured me it was. Well there were no holes in my yard which means they didnt do it.) That I would get two treatments for $60.00. I called before the second service call and was assured I would no be charged the $60.00 but have been billed anyway. I canceled with them as I dont like dishonesty when trying to get your business. The amount of time last treatment was about 5 minutes....seriously!

Don’t waste your time and money with this company. I have used them for the past 2 years. My lawn looks worse now then ever before. I contacted Jason the sales manager and requested a service call, he said he would send some one out. 3 weeks later still no service call... I fired Unique and contacted a competitor and they were out 2 days later.

Very attentiveness to the needs of my lawn.

I had the company for two plus years and have a yard full of crab grass. I gave them several chances to remedy the problem. One or two of the service guys got smart over the phone. One said it’s prevention not elimination. My question is how did my yard get in such bad shape and it is a lot worst than when I started. I have owned homes since 1992 and used True Green, Scott’s, Columbia Lawn Services as well as the 5 Scott’s do it yourself program and never had a problem with crab grass or weeds. Of course they costed more but I was taken by the cost savings switching to Unique Lawn. Two and a half years later what I thought was a savings will cost me more. I also have brown dead patches throughout the yard where they were able to effectively kill some crab grass so now I have to reseed. I still have an enormous amount of crab grass to kill first so I guess I will work on killing the rest reseed in the spring. My yard is embarrassing and I have the worst lawn on the street. I’m absolutely a believer now that you get what you pay for and I only have myself to blame for being cheap and not intervening sooner.

I thought long and hard about writing this review I don’t mind paying for quality work but when a company does a poor job I detest giving my hard earned money to them for absolutely poor work. If you are thinking of hiring them... don’t! I have consistently had problems with my yard for two years. I was referred by my neighbor whose lawn I loved little did I know my neighbor began to have problems and stopped using them as well. My yard has been horrible all summer even with me waking up at 5 am to water it! I would never recommend this company to anyone.... Don’t waist your money... find another lawn care service and do your research I wish I would have 😱

Used this company for 4 seasons and tried to fire them twice. Manager kept promising the world but unfortunately never deliveried. During the 4 seasons, crabgrass spread and an infestation of a weed happened causing me to total kill my backyard (despite calling them 2 times to fix it). They must have been spraying water or could not recognize the weed that needed something stronger. I called them all the time about the weeds and they would come out and spray but the weeds would never go away. During all this, I watered regularly, over seeded, did aeration, and cut my grass with a sharp blade. Basically, I did my part and they failed!! I now do my own lawn care. Read a book from the “lawn care nut” and My yard looks amazing!! This company is equivalent to a dumpster on a hot day. You have been warned!

We had unique lawn care for prob 4 years or so. they got the lawn looking pretty good originally, but then it started looking like sh**. My opinion they use the ole bait and switch that is, get your yard looking good then start reducing the amount of fertilizer. when i contacted them all they did was send someone out to look at the yard and suggest to give them more time. at the very least a refund of some sort should have been offered. Couple times i witnessed the tech never even pulling the hose for weed control.

Unique Lawn care has exceded my expectations, not only were they willing to come re do my aeration, but they also have the best customer service in the world. Sales GM Skylar Raider is definitely the most valued customer they have. If you care about your lawn have unique take care of it. They do awesome work!!!!

I have been using Unique Lawncare for the last three years. They are by far the most proactive( call 24 hours before they come) company I have used for a fertilization plan. They give detailed report about what they did and may have found that was fixed. If there is an issue (once that I can think of) they are out the same day or within 24 hours.

We have had Unique Law Care for several years now and we have as many weeds as we did when we started. They are good with dandelions and clover, but thats about it! I think its time for a change.

Called my landline number to sell me their services. The gentleman that I spoke with stated he was the production manager.

I used this company for over 4 years and my grass has never looked so bad. I paid extra to have my yard double air rated and seeded this past fall and to my suprize there is no new grass as of yet. I have tones of bald spots in my yard, and weeds. So disappointed in this company. I tried on more than several occasions to let the company know I wasn’t happy and they keep promising they would take care of it. Instead of growing my grass they have managed to ruin it.

Unique Lawn Care is the best company Ive had on my lawn. I used to have a big name national company service my lawn but, a few years ago I gave Unique a chance and never looked back. It didnt happen overnight and I did have to call for a few free service calls but, now I have the best looking lawn on my street. Uniques customer service is fantastic. The first year I had a few issues with thin spots and disease/fungus but, Unique worked with me to help solve the problem and now my lawn looks better than a PGA golf course.

If you want to throw your money away and want to be treated like a a dog then go ahead hire them. You will not be disappointed. Customer service is their forte. Sarcasm intended! I wish there was a zero star to give this review.

I used this company back in September. We paid our bill via check, the company lost it, then we paid AGAIN via credit card and apparently they dont have record of that either. I have been harassed by this company by mail and by phone and would never recommend them to anyone. Their poor record keeping and accounting has been a complete nightmare. At this point Im wondering if theyre just trying to scam me out of more money.

Absolutely, horrendous customer service. One of the sales reps had promised to come to our house to look at our lawn and speak with my husband, I did not feel comfortable paying the entire amount upfront over the phone without having a conversation in person. We sat at our house for an hour when he was supposed to arrive and no one showed up. He then called and pretended like nothing was wrong and when I asked where he was, he said he had his notes mixed up and didn’t realize he was supposed to come out. I literally talked to him three days prior to this, and my husband heard the entire phone call. Proceeded to tell me he was the manager and no one else could speak to me. Terrible.

I have tried to cancel service with this company 3 times and they still keep spraying my lawn. Before canceling they sprayed my lawn twice in 1 week when they were supposed to spray my lawn one day and a neighbor 2 doors down another. They were supposed to slit seed my lawn and over seeded instead which clogged up my pool pump.Its a shame because they have all seemed very nice, but completely disorganized and unable to operate a business. Avoid this company at all costs. Trying to canceling with them is like trying to cancel AOL.

Prepaid for a service and they wanted to charge me again. Customer service was worthless and belligerent. They have lied 2 times about “sending my money back”. I guess they are having financial trouble and don’t have the money. Awful company to deal with recommend using Oasis.

Terrible company. I was with Trugreen at a good price. Opted to go with Unique because they offered me similar service with a lot of extras such as a free aeration at the end of the season. The price was a higher but I felt overall it was a good deal. WRONG! My yard has looked terrible this year, with dead patches and weeds that sprouted up where I never had them before. Not sure if they did a shoddy job applying it or if it was lower grade chemicals. And the free aeration.....They tried to charge me for it and would not honor the initial agreement. Right there at the bottom of experience. My recommendation, try somebody else.

They Came out to do my lawn. Only completed the front yard. Called me and charged me for front and back. I said sir I work from home I was in the window waiting for you employee to come ask me to put our pet in the house. They insisted they did both front and back. Thieves stay away from this company!

Liars, They say they do services but do not. I should have read the horrible reviews before I actually signed up. They also killed my elderly neighbors flowers due to neglect when they were spraying the yard, Said they would come back to fix and give free services, but never showed up. So in a sense another Bad Review neighbors just dont have technology to tell everyone.

This is the worst company, Do not let this company do your lawn they do not apply the right amount of fertilizer to treat your lawn. I had more weeds then I ever had I had to keep calling them to come out an treat my weeds I finally got fed up an cancelled my service and for the last year we did the lawn ourselves and it looks great and it is cheaper to do our self

I used this company for the 2015 year because my busier schedule dissallowed me to continue all yard work however, I wasnt completely satisfied because I dont feel like my expectations were met. There were times that ive sent them picks of massive weeds..I absolutely love to be in my yard planting, nourishing and cutting and smelling fresh flowers and would rather spend my time there than weeding. ( Florist ) On the bright side, they did always come for addl treatments when I called, however, not always were my expectations met. I spend extra money on buying weed treatments and sprays yet pay full price for treatments. This year, its a debate on another company, figuring out some time netween my two jobs, to do it myself or giving this company another shot..

Very rude employee, was supposed to be treating neighbors yard but kept coming into my yard. He was saying that my property, that is clearly separated by a cement divider, belonged to my neighbor. Told him to get off my property and he just got rude with me. Ill never use their service and will make sure to let everyone know how rude their employees are.

I was a forgotten customer with this company. Went 12 weeks without service and had to call them to remind them. They still put me off so I quit them that day.
