Raju was a pleasure to work with, had a quick response time and very helpful with answering all of our questions. The resort was amazing!! I can’t believe the price for everything, very reasonable. The rooms were clean, plenty of towels, full kitchen, washer and dryer, TVs in every room, lobby was nice and they allowed our team party in there without any complaints, the pool was nice, plenty of things to do on the resort plus a small convenience store with a deli on site. I would definitely stay there again.

I have a nice vacation rental. I have been trying to get to 100% occupancy or close, has been one of my goal. I am currently running at 98% for the year. I called VacayHome at the last minute to cancel a reservation for today because a fire blew up close to the location and smoke is reported as heavy and ash is falling from the sky. I have bad asthma and just couldnt go. Raju was sympathetic and worked with me to handle the reservation, which worked out somewhat for me. He did the best he could and I am most appreciative!

We recently needed to cancel our reservation we had made. We were aware we would only recieve and 80% refund. Raju offered a credit voucher good for 15 months without loss of any funds. It worked great for us and look forward to our future booking. Thank you Raju.

Trying to book a trip to Hawaii with 20 people is not easy. We contacted Raju about our situation and the rooms we were interested in. He found us the rooms we needed and was very responsive to all of our questions. Vacations are stressful things to plan and to have some of that stress alleviated by someone who knows how to do their job and do it in a thoughtful, caring, competent and professional manner was so helpful for us!! This company scammed my parents when they came to visit me in Seattle. My parents booked on VRBO, paid the initial booking fee (around $200) and then the remainder of their booking a few days before check-in date. When my parents arrived on check-in day, the building told them that they had no knowledge of their reservation. Their reservation also mysteriously disappeared from the VRBO app AND AFTER VacayHome Connect had charged them in full for their stay. Raju, from VacayHome Connect, told us that there was an error with their booking system and it deleted their reservation after they paid for it. (What a convenient excuse.) Raju, literally the only person whos ever answered the phone at this company, has done nothing to correct this issue or give a refund over the past month. We will likely take legal action if their refund is not received in the coming week. Do not trust these scammers and do your research before booking on VRBO. Unfortunately, VRBO hasnt been very helpful in aiding in this issue. They only offered to book two nights free at a hotel for my parents week-long stay, which makes me question their ethics and overall business practices for holding scammers accountable on their platform.

This company was one of our platform managers for 2020. To date, they owe us close to $200K for bookings that they have never paid us for. We have been promised for months and have received a small fraction of what is owed. We have gone all the way up to the CEO and received nothing but empty promises. Suits have been filed, complaints made through all the proper channels and again nothing. If you are a rental company anywhere, do not use this company as a booking platform no matter what they promise. They are very bad news.

The travel industry has been hit hard during Covid. I lost my job in the travel industry last year but reached out to VacayHome to assist them in their sales efforts. Sunil and his team were very thorough in their hiring process and said they could hire me on in possibly three months. Three months came and I was hired on. Everything they said they were going to do, they have done. Now that Covid is receeding, revenue is growing rapidy and our slow payment to our clients has been resolved.

A truly awful experience and company.1. I booked a stay for November 2020 in September of 2020.2. Travel restrictions changed in the state I intended to travel to and I was no longer able to travel. I informed VacayConnect and they said I could change my booking to a future date, but that it would be a one time change and I couldnt ever change it again should I need to. They told me this three times in writing, in all caps.3. Obviously this wasnt an option given the state of the travel restrictions, so I disputed the charges with my credit card.4. The hotel I was staying in called me and let me know I could just apply that credit toward any other night in the next year. Great! I did not pursue the disputed charges and I was recharged by VacayConnect.5. I called the hotel to rebook my stay. They were never paid out by VacayConnect. Weird, right? I called VacayConnect. They said I violated their trust by disputing the charges and its none of my business where that money is. They also said I should have assumed they would be flexible if I needed to change my reservation a second time.Sketchy, reprehensible, awful awful company. Please save yourself and dont book with them - book with the hotels directly.

Critical: this company does not pay the property managers what that are owed and they are in breach of contract. They currently owe $40,000 to our company and are 6 months to a year behind on payments. They say they will pay and then they do not. Do Not Use this company. They will not pay you. I booked a reservation not knowing that vacayhome was handling the payment. Actually the site I used said the actual property would handle all payments. The full amount of my reservation was held from my bank account 7 days prior to my stay. I checked in and out and was never told that the property was never paid for my stay. This was July 2020 forward 6 months later and my bank account was charged a second time for the stay. When I called the property o was told they were never paid but to my knowledge I paid for my stay! They told me I had to contact vacayhome directly and request a refund. Which has been a headache because you are never told the same story and I was told I was on a list but so was 200 people! So I paid for a place to stay twice which wasn’t even worth what I paid once. The manager at the property was rude and couldn’t tell me why I was allowed to stay when they were never paid. Overall these people are cons and distrustful.

SCAMMERS AND/OR CROOKS! I highly recommend that you stay away from this company IF you are a rental management company as they do NOT pay you for the reservations they secure. I saw another review where they did the same thing to another rental company a little too late. These people should be in jail. They promise that theyll pay you and then ignore or send you very little of what they owe you. They do not return phone calls and you can NEVER reach anyone directly. We rented a unit and an hour after we checked in the ceiling literally started falling down on us in the living room!!! Luckily we were not hurt but they never bothered to make sure we were not hurt, or try to compensate us or anything!!! Do not, I repeat, DO NOT use VacayHome Connect. They have defrauded hundreds of people recently. I’ll summarize my experience.1) We booked a condo in SC with VHC.2) We paid VHC in full and took the trip in July 20193) December 2019 we received a mysterious charge on our credit card. When we inquired we were told VHC never paid the property owner.4) We disputed the charge with our CC but no luck. Apparently because service was rendered they were authorized to charge us.5) We then disputed the VHC charge but our CC said they can only dispute charges 118 days old or less. VHC charge was 120 at this point!!!6) I’ve emailed and called VHC numerous times and been given the runaround.7) I’ve been told “you’re on the refund list”, “hundreds of people are on the list”, “email our finance department and that will expedite your refund”8) I plan to file a lawsuit against VHC. I don’t care if it cost me $20,000 to get $3,000 in return.

I have booked some properties in November 2019 and since the pandemic hit I had to cancel the reservation, in May 2020, in the time to get a refund on my deposit. Today it is October 18 2020 and I have not received a deposit back and they stopped responding. I will never book with this company again and would not recommend it to anyone. I paid for a Florida vacation for April of this year. Unfortunately due to the covid19 happening we were not able to go through with our plans. I asked for a refund i was granted a refund but I never received my refund. I was told it would take 60 days. Well I canceled in March and now this is July and I still have not seen a refund. Update as of this morning: finally received a response by email. Refund is *possibly* processing we’ll see if it actually happens.Unfortunately, like the rest of the world, I had to cancel my reservation due to Covid. I cancelled in April and was told the *REFUND* could take up to 90 days. I have spoken with multiple people over the phone, and one in particular person on the reservation team, Michael. No where in Michael’s email about my cancellation said that I would receive a credit for the deposit...it said word for word “Please note that in light of the high volume of these requests, it may take up to 90 days for your refund to return to your account.” I have talked with Michael over the phone at least three times, and not once has he said anything about a credit. He just says that he will find out what is going on with my refund and get back with me. However, I never get a follow up by phone or email. He gave me his phone number so I wouldn’t have to go through the main line, but surprise, every time I’ve called it states “the party you are trying to reach is busy and can not take your call”. No return call as of yet. I asked the gentleman today who I spoke with (who is the first person out of many that told me I won’t be receiving a refund) if I could speak with someone higher up and was denied. “There is no one else to speak with”, but he would have Michael call me back after his lunch. Poor customer service. Poor follow through. Poor communication. I will continue to call and email until I get a resolution.Let me also add that in June (2 months after I cancelled the reservation) the remaining amount from the reservation was withdrawn from my bank account. It took multiple phone calls to get this refunded (money that never should have been taken). Over a month later, I finally got that money refunded.

After searching for the perfect beach house in Rhode Island, we found one through VacayHome. We had certain questions about the house that VacayHome Connect provided feedback to us the same day. The home was beautiful and exactly what we were looking so we immediately booked it. Due to COVID-19 the homeowners cancelled on us within days. VacayHome Connect communicated with us throughout the refund process giving us a realistic timeline of when the refund would be issued. Due to the volume of cancellations VacayHome Connect and other realtors were experiencing a delay was to be expected. Raju from VacayHome Connect, accepted our calls every time we called to inquire the status. He was polite and honest with us concerning the wait time. I would use and recommend VacayHome Connect in the future because the properties they offered in Rhode Island were beautiful and most importantly, they know how to treat their customers.

They are also refusing to respond to the Better Business Bureau with respect to my case. Stay clear of anything reservations related to Vacay Home Connect. They cannot be trusted. I booked a trip beginning of April, due to COVID Vacay canceled the trip on 3/18/20 and informed me via email I would be refunded. After waiting two weeks With no refund I tried calling and they informed me they do not handle refunds and would have to take my name and number to give to the right dept. I have called several times with the same response and no one has called me back (3 months later). I wrote them back via email and they stated they are backlogged (understandable) and it could take up to 90 days (not very understandable). BUT here we are over 90 days past cancelation- no refund, no follow up responses to my emails, and no phone calls back.

I unfortunately booked thru Vacay instead of the actual rental company!! It has been a headache!I’ve learned Vacay will charge your card immediately for any rental. They will not or said they have a contract to pay the rental people 15 days after your stay which I can only hope they do! I see where people on reviews said they were deducted twice I can see the confusion! Booking directly thru the rental people and NOT usually Vacay would have saved me plenty enough for an extra night and a tank of gas!I can only hope I’m not charged twice for my stay! VacayHome Connect places advertisements and listings which are intentionally misleading. We booked a trip based on description and photos, to find that the property is not located in an area implicated by the listing.The company would not send address until booking, and when looking at satellite photo and learning of this fact on the same day of our booking, and 52 days before our trip,the company would not change the property or dates for us. It’s unfortunate... I strongly recommend looking elsewhere.

I was not able to have an experience. Vacay Home Connect canceled my reservations because they are no longer dealing with VTrips. I only found this out because VTrips notified me. This company doesnt know its BUTT from 1st base. I had contacted them several times over the past 4 weeks but they did not call me back. Today I called 3 different number before I got to the right person. I wanted to make a payment on my balance but was told they could not accept advance payments because of a glitch in their system. I have never heard of a company not accepting a payment. You would think they would be happy to receive payments. The first number I called said they dont handle payments, he connected me to another number and asked 2 simple questions which this dummy could not answer, I asked my balance and she gave me an amount $700.00 less than I owed and asked to make a payment . I asked her to transfer me to a supervisor and she put me on hold for 33 minutes before she disconnected. I give this company ZERO STARS as they dont deserve any. This is the first time I used this company but this will be my LAST. Stay away from this company.

I applied at this place for a job and ultimately withdrew my application because the manager Myles was extremely rude and unprofessional. After my initial interview he wanted me to email my references and he would contact me to let me know he received them . After I sent my email of references I waited 24hours and no response. I then called to follow up just to make sure Myles received my email. He was extremely sarcastic and condescending in his tone making me feel as if I was bothering him by simply following up. I have delt with many professional and unprofessional people and Myles is by far the most unprofessional individual I have ever came into contact with and he really needs to work on his people skills . Although I’m in need of a new job the way Myles handled the call turned me completely off to the point I don’t even wanna work for this company. Watch out for Myles .

Had a reservation for July 11th until the 14th. Paid my deposit and a week before the final payment was due me and my wife cancelled the reservation and was told we cannot get our deposit back. We agreed that we wouldn’t get it back and knew that before we canceled. Well as I check my bank today I notice that I have money missing, look through the account and see that vacay home connect has taken the final payment out of my account and now of course no one knows what the deal is! Today is July 5, 2018.I booked a Condo rental(in May and paid in full the end of May ) with TripAdvisor (and VacayHome Connect) to stay at the Sheraton Broadway Plantation Condos in South Carolina July 3-6, 2018. I live in Florida.I received a confirmation via email through July 3 that my trip was booked and to enjoy my trip.As I arrived in South Carolina I called Sheraton Broadway Plantation to see if we could arrive earlier to be told that Vacay Connect had cancelled the booking without any notification in May. I was forced to find someplace lease to stay and Trip Advisor would locate someplace else the next day.I will never use Vacay Home Connect or Trip Advisor again to rent a condo ever againThey could not find an alternate place of stay that same day or accommodate me due to the error on Vacaystay connects fault.No one has contacted me to apologize or offer sometime a compensation for a ruined tripJust a refund expecting to post in a few daysWhat would have happened if I didn’t have additional resources to pay for the hotel stay?I will never use Vacayconnect or Trip advisor again.

Property was double booked on AirBNB and it clearly showed it was open. I politely asked them to deny my reservation and they refused to do it because it would hurt their search metrics. The name of the property is Safari Romance, 1 Bedroom, Wood Fireplace, Jacuzzi, WiFi, Sleeps 2 - Cabin in Gatlinburg, TN. Another person booked the cabin the day before and the calendar did not show up as blocked. I am fine with accidents happening, but own up to it. I should not have to call AirBNB Support and be on hold for 30 minutes to cancel a reservation I am not at fault over. The rep on the phone was very arrogant on the phone or I would not be leaving this review. For a company that specializes in an interface to automate communications through multi-channel vacation rental platforms, their technology lacks basic two way sync with calendars.

Beware of dealing with this rental company. We booked a cabin weeks ago through FlipKey. The full payment was posted to our card and confirmation of the rental was received. I contacted the property manager listed on FlipKey: VacayHome Connect through flipkey when we did not receive our check-in instructions for our arrival scheduled for tomorrow Friday, October 12. They emailed me the phone number of Cabin Rentals of Georgia and said they were the property owner and would send me instructions. I called Monday, October 8 and left a voicemail explaining I needed the check-in instructions. Three hours later I received an email from VacayHome Connect saying the property owner cancelled our reservation and we would have to contact FlipKey directly to receive our refund. No explanation as to why or other options for our stay. Just straight up cancelled. I called Cabin Rentals of Georgia directly and was given the run around and told everyone was in a meeting and would get back to me. Hours later no one had contacted me, so my husband called. He was told our reservation was cancelled because it was for two nights instead of three. Though the reservation was originally confirmed. Also, on Monday when looking at the Cabin Rentals of Georgia website you could reserve a cabin for just the two nights we were planning to stay (October 12-14). They offered no help and would prefer to have cabins open then honor our reservation. We typically stay 1-2 times a year in the mountains. I will never use this company again. I will also be aware of any rentals with VacayHome Connect as the middle manager. Both Cabin Rentals of Georgia and VacayHome Connect wanted to play the blame game and neither was willing to help us and/or honor our reservation. They said I had to call FlipKey to receive my refund even though they were the ones that cancelled on us. Even at that the phone number VacayHome Connect provided for FlipKey was a wrong number. I had to research the correct customer service number myself. Poor management and customer service all around. I will be sure to share my story with others so that they stay away from Cabin Rentals of Georgia (both as owners and renters) and Vacay Home Connect.

Do not use this service. I just reserved a unit for 7 days. Paid in full. Booked 3 first class non-refundable ticket (in this order), then two days later was informed the 2 bedroom unit was not available....would provide another unit 100 miles away across the sea of cortez or two hotel rooms and not a 2 bedroom suite in same hotel but not overlooking the pool.

VacayHome Connects customer service is great, and they do their best with challenging situations. What other reviewers may not understand is that VHC represents property owners, so VHC has no control over instances where a property owner modifies or cancels a reservation, or does not reply to guest inquiries. VHC does their best to re-accommodate all guests as needed!
