DO NOT RECOMMEND GOING TO THIS PLACE! 0 Stars. They are going to have you keep coming back with new problems every time. All they care about is money, and would do it at the expense of their customers! To say the least, these guys made sure the bolts in my car were loose, potentially putting me in danger, just to have me in for the third time this month. Save your money and look for a better place with more professional people!

Nunos has great service. Ive brought my car here a few times for issues I couldnt fix myself. They are always very fast with the repairs. They have a very reasonable tow service too. Ill bring my others cars here also, highly recommended, especially over some other artists in the area.

I DONT RECOMMEND GOING TO THIS SHOP AT ALL. I took my car in to get my suspension changed (10 total pieces) and the charged me $900 with an wheel alignment included. When they gave me my car, the steering wheels was crooked. I called in to ask what was the reason for this, and they said that it was because there was another part of the car that needed to be fixed and that because that piece needed to be changed, the car couldn’t be aligned. However I was still charged $100 for the alignment when the alignment had not been done! I bought the pieces and took it in a week after, they ofcourse charged me $200 more. Two days after it has been changed and “fixed”, my car started making a weird noise. I decided to go to another mechanic, and it turns out that a lot of the bolts had not been screwed in properly, they were all loose! They are by far the least professional people I have meet! And they charge as if they had much expertise! I am very unhappy with this shop.

Ive been going to Nunos for over 10 years. Very satisfied! Never been charged for more then was needed to be done. They drive me home after I drop my car off and pick me up when my car is ready. First visit.Follow up coming soon. The AC repair has failed and they are looking at it tomorrow. 12 month 12,000 mile coverage per the staff. I have high hopes at this point. Dropped score to 4 stars. Will update soon.So here is the update. I have bad luck with a/c units. Seems the compressor blew out 3 days after the other work was done. AC was ice cold then dead.

If I could I would give them zero stars!Unprofessional!!!I went there with a flat tire,they fixed it and after two hours the tire went flat again,I called them and they said there is nothing they can do and they are not gonna give my money back.I would never recommend the place to anyone,they take advantage of people,they just want your money!

I dont want to sound cliche but this place is the reason that auto mechanics get bad reputations.I will admit the service was quick, but that was about all that they did that was acceptable.The service was mediocre. They do the oil change and rotate the tires, nothing more and nothing less.Im fine with a medicore service. Not all shops are excellent service providers.But this place will nickel and dime you for anything and everything. Filters, and extra oil on top of the strictly five quarts cost me nearly $40 extra on top of the supposively full service that I paid for.I appreciate honesty and for an auto shop its something that I hold in high regard. I wont return here, there are many other places with honest people that provide good service.

They advertise a $22 oil change, inspection, and tire rotation. I was in with my car and they first quoted me $36 but dropped it to $28 for some reason. I know for a fact they didnt do the inspection because my reverse lights are out and they didnt mention it to me at all. I also know they didnt rotate the tires because I have locking lug nuts and my lock was with me. scammy service

I brought my car in because it was still misfiring after these guy did a bunch of work to it. 2 days later they called me and said my car no longer turned on. That I needed a new computer that would $1700. At the time I had just gotten a new car so I didnt care as much. Even tho I brought my car in running then got it back not running. I asked what they did to my car and they said that they didnt do anything to it. DO NOT USE THIS PLACE

I started bringing my cars to Nunos in December 2018 and have been met with nothing but quick, thorough and fair service. All of their work is done with a phone call in advance with simple and easy to understand reasons for why the work is necessary.

They lost my hub cap did not do my alignment as I paid for. They tighten my bolts so tight I could not remove my tire. They tried to give me an appointment to fix it instead of taking care of it. We are honest people who got taken advantage of do not let it happen to you.

I wish I would have read the reviews before going. The woman who works at the desk was rude and nasty. Was handed a piece of paper when my alignment was done with zero info about where the tires were before or after it was done. Got in my car and there was a huge mustard stain on my drivers seat...and I dont eat mustard. My light gray steering wheel cover was covered in something brown and more mustard. I come home, read the responses to reviews and realize the owner doesnt seem to care at all about his customers or lack there of since he is challenging anyone who dares to complain. Well, dont bother responding to this one, I dont want my money back, Ill clean my own seat and Ill take it somewhere reputable to see if anything was even done. I just want anyone thinking of going to this place to really consider going ANYWHERE else.

Rip off place. Try to sell you things you do not need. And what they did do was poor quality work and I had to go elsewhere to get their work fixed... just read Bobbys response so I will clarify and add the details he requests.. and perhaps before typing he might have wanted to talk with me instead of just the people at the shop. When I dropped off the car, I asked the attendant to check out a noise that is intermittently coming from my front passenger side. I did not hear the noise on the way to the shop... when I picked up the car I was told that the technician that drove the car heard the horrendous noise in the front and the back and that is why I needed needed new rotors (although the pads were ok). Funny, but I drove the car home and never heard any noise even once... and most certainly do not need a brake job even though I was told I have bad news... you need a complete brake job... and was quoted $710Relative to the tire that was changed... there is absolutely no excuse for having me drive away with a leaking tire.. that should have been checked before I paid and drove away (always but especially since you knew the tire was used). By the time I got home the tire pressure was 5 psi below the recommended level of 30. I did a soap test and found a leak at the rim... although without even looking at the tire your attendant insisted it was a problem with the tire, not the installation...which takes me full circle... if there was an issue with the tire, that should have easily been flagged when it was installed... or at least it would have been flagged by a quality shop.

I bought a groupon voucher for wheel aligment. After several times trying calling to do an apointment for the wheel aligment they said that they dont offer this service anymore and i have to call groupon for a refund. First they said that the computer is broken,after that, the huy that is doing the wheel aligment is not working on saturday. Just look somewhere else.

I stopped in to fix a flat and was taken care of right away. The service was fast and the price was right. They helped me out of a jam. Thanks guys.

Ed nuno (the owner) does not pay his employees and regularly scams customers. I used to work here and ed would constantly sell customers things they did not need and break things so they would need to come back for later repairs. SCAM. when i politely called and asked about being underpayed on my check I was told to never contact him again

I had a tire that was going flat and took it in to Nuno’s Car on Harlem and Devon. They took care of it and I was in and out of there in about 20 minutes. I’ve been going to this place for about nine years and have never had a problem with them.

Was taking a road trip, needed an oil change, replaced all air filters. Was there for an hour, fluids were not topped off. This would not have been a big deal except, it became vital when I was on my road trip this winter. Which leaves me to wonder what else was ignored.

Had oil change done here. Great service and products were offered. Clean place to visit while you wait for your car to be serviced.

If zero stars was an option thats what this shop would receive. First off, I brought my 2003 chevy truck in for a new belt because the old one was squeaking. Got my truck back and the belt was still squeaking and when I brought it back he said he didnt hear anything. Turns out they fixed me up with a belt meant for 105 amp alternator when I have a 145 amp alternator. Secondly, I went and had my oil changed there. 2 weeks later, I was checking fluids before going snow plowing the following day and the oil dip stick came out completely dry. went back to shop and they said they couldnt lift truck because the plow was on but that Im burning 2 quarts of oil every 2 weeks and proceeded to charge me for adding oil. turns out they didnt bother to tighten the oil filter. bottom line Norwood Auto Service fixed everything and they are now my new go to. Nunos is very unprofessional. Hope this review was helpful.

Went for a 21.99 oil change. Had been there before and know the are up charges such as shop fee and oil disposal fee. However I was charged 9.99 for an oil filter that I assumed came with an oil change. So my 21.99 oil change cost me over 35 dollars. I wasnt told that there would be an up charges for a filter. I was just asked to sign the work order. Who reads a small print work order for an oil change? So I signed the order not seeing the small print amount on the left side or the work order. Dont know if they rotated the tires as I could not see where the work was being done. So I paid the 35 dollars thinking I would take up the filter charge with the owner Ed Nunoq. Went to see him a few days past the service and told him I was not aware of the up charge until it was time to pay. He pulled the work order and said LOOK yout signed it and showed me the small print price to the left of my signature. I said I DIDNT SEE THE SMALL PRINT AT THE LEFT Of THE WORK ORDER. He said would you by a house with other reading the contract. Its not much but he lost a customer for a 9.99 oil filter that should have been included in the price of the oil change. After reading many reviews I am seeing more bad ones then good reviews. So long Nunos. Up charge rip off. Larry knapp

1800$ for auto parts +450$ for labor = the same issue in next day.Car doesn’t started. I thought there is some problem with battery, but they told me I have to change two parts in the car and it cast me 1300$+280$ for labor. I said “ok”:Two days after the same issue. Car doesn’t started. I called them again, and the answer was: ok, just try to start your car and come over here, we will see what’s wrong with it.+500$+ 190$ for labor= ok, now it should work well.One day later- the same. Car doest started.There was no problems with all those parts they changed. In fact , another guy in fixed this problem for 150$ . There was a problem with one bottom on the top of brake pedal. That’s it.But -1800$-450$ is gone now.

I moved to this neighborhood and thought great!, there’s a mechanic right here and it’s very convenient for my husband and I, well, I was wrong. I should’ve never switched. I have been coming here for a few years now, the service was great at the beginning Rafael was my main point of contact, not sure if he’s just not there anymore or I just don’t come in on the days he works. Anyway, I’ve slowly stopped going because I realized that they were trying to rip me off, anytime I went in for an issue they would write me quotes for allll these things that were “wrong” with my car. And it would be large amounts of money like 3000$ (this one time) so I went back to my old mechanic he is a bit far but I’m willing to scrafice the drive to ensure I get the best price and honest work done. This last time I went in which was a week ago was to check why my car was making noise when it was turned on. At first I thought it was my compressor or radiator but according to nunos it was my alternator, per Raul (“my mechanics have looked at the car and there is a little bit of noise coming from your compressor but your alternator is the one making the most noise, it’s about to fall off”) I thought that’s weird, can an alternator actually fall off? What do I know though I’m not a mechanic, but I said ok how much, he said $495+ tax. I was shocked at the price and I told him I’d call him back. My husband said no since we didn’t have enough money to pay that at the time. I take my car back and I drove it down to the city to my old mechanic and asked him to look at it (without telling him what nunos told me, yet) my mechanic looked at the car pulled me in back and said it’s your water pump, he unplugged it and showed me the noise it was making, how and why. Then I told him what nunos had told me and he SHOWED me the alternator and said no it’s not your alternator at all and it is not going to fall off. He Charged me 250$ replaced my water pump and the car runs like new, no more noise. So, with that being said nunos you’re a HUGE rip off. This isn’t the only reason I feel this way, hence why I’ve stopped coming all together. Rafael was good to us and I felt like I could trust him. But I haven’t seen him in a long time and the way Raul has been doing business with us has been way too shady. Don’t lie to your customers and tell them their alternator is about to fall off next time and maybe you’d be able to keep your customers. I don’t have money to just THROW AWAY. I’ve read all the other reviews on this place and wish I had done it sooner. Lesson learned, if you find a good mechanic no matter how far it is just keep going there.EDIT TO REPLY. Lies lies and lies. I paid an inspection fee. I’m dying of laughter right now. And I didn’t even come in for an oil change 😂😂😂. Everything you said is a lie. I came in specifically for the noise and Bc my car was shaking when I was breaking on the HWY. since my breaks and roders were under warranty they were replaced. As far as the noise I PAID THE FEE! This place sucks, if you go for an alignment they will try their best to charge you extra fees for what ever reason, these Nuno’s sucks pretend to charge you 25 dollars for an inspection that no one has requested when you go for alignment, these Unprofessionals pretend to do what ever they want with your car when you are the one who is giving to eat to this people, you are the customer and you decide what you want not them. These people has two locations with the same name be careful DO NOT GO over there I am an auto tech and I know how these thieves work stealing people taking advantage of their lack of knowledges in the automotive stuff. Hadrear brake lines put on my truck that ran them under my differential so when I run something over its going to rip my brake lines off. went in there told them to move them to the right position they told me they will not they are done working on my car. So I am stuck with a snow plowing truck with my brake lines run underneath my differential. And for the other reviews with the oil change they do not rotate the tires I had the same problem .dont recommend this place!!!!!

Biggest scammers in the business. They charge you $80+ to do a read your check engine light when you could go to autozone and do it for free. Not to mention that dont offer any other options when you are getting your car fixed just one, and their prices and labor are CRAZY. Cant believe i went to them more than once. Great story - one time i came to get my car after an oil change and i saw some guys working on a car and when they were taking the wheels off of the car they were just kicking it and hitting it a tire iron and laughing as it fell off, just guys screwing around. Also a former employee told me he was encouraged to do some unethical things. - One being selling a customer a new oil pan - it was old a rusty but was told to repaint it and put it on. CLOSE THIS SHOP.

Just been today 11-10-2017 there for Alignment Service and they notice that theres a freeplay on driver side outer tie rod and they did not told me about it before starting the alignment, only after they complete the service and paid in full. That was at 2:41 pm. And they wana charge me $150.00 for the part and labor. And then they told me if I wana fix the part some other places the to be back before 5:00 pm. So, I went and fixed the problem to other shop for $95.00 only and returned back at 4:30pm. And they told me to come back monday. This guy Huerta Raul who charged my credit card first before telling my about the outer tie rod start lying that I told him that Ill be back on monday. He just lying to my face. Unbelievable. The mecanic name is Estrada Javier.So, I called my credit card, told them what happen and they will reverse the charges. And Ill go to other shop to do the alignment again. Becarefull with this shop, they will scam you.

My fiance went in specifically for a front brake change on a 2012 Ford Focus. They up sold her an air filter change as well.... total charge $540!!!!!!! I almost had a heart attack when I seen the price. Taking advantage of a female that doesnt know much about cars. These people are thieves!
