My aunt required a hearing aid and this was the best. Not only did the Audiologist, Marianne fit my aunt with the hearing aid she also spent quite a bit if time encouraging, instructing, demonstrating, and assisting my aunt toPomp go beyond her reservations in believing that its was too difficult for her to use that hearing aid it any other ones for that matter. After much discussion and gentle encouragement my aunt had no more reservations and told Marianne that she would try it out. My aunt is pleased that she can hear much better with the assistance of this hearing aid. Marianne is the best. We appreciate the time that was spent with my aunt to ensure that she understood how to use the hearing aid how it would improve her life and most of all Marianne ensured that my aunt was comfortable with the entire process. My aunt now hears much clearer and has made the necessary adjustments. THANK YOU Marianne for being so kind and yet professional with my aunt. (This review comes 7months overdue.) I just had to complete this review no matter how much time has passed.

Wonderful experience with this service…audiologist especially helpful & kind. She was informative, thorough and took the time to explain and assess my 98yo mother’s hearing loss. In addition, she provided us with a much needed education on hearing aids.I now plan to return for my own audio needs, likely in the near future. Great place!

I was visiting from Florida and noticed my father’s hearing was worse since he is no longer able to read lips because of the face masks. I called several places and couldn’t get an appointment.Finally I called Beltone office in Irving Park and Marianne, the audiologist, was very kind to stay the extra time to test my father. I love my hearing aids! Going on a year now and cannot live without them I can hear so much better and no longer frustrated that I cannot hear they are wonderful. I have been taking my father to Marianne at Beltone for over a year now. Marianne is very patient and kind... her service is exceptional. We are beyond happy with our choice for hearing aids. Marianne is the best ! So nice to find loving caring lady in this crazy world .I brought my mom to her a few years back and she has helped me tremendously as well . My husband suffers a severe hearing loss and for the past several years Marianne has seen to his needs. She is a perfectionist in her testing and truly cares about advising her clients of the best hearing aids for their particular condition. Prices are fair and service is impeccable. I’m very amazed with their new digital Hearing Aids they’re the best I’ve ever purchased. I can now hear better than ever before. Everything sounds so clear, and they are also very convenient when setting up on iPhone you can adjust volume without the constant touching the earpiece. Also, I’m very satisfied with the helpful product knowledge I receive from Marianne. She is very kind, friendly, and courteous. Ruth is also very friendly and kind too. Our family has been associated with this Beltone location for over 5 years. We cannot find enough good words to say about our experience. Mariane the audiologist is wonderful. My mother is elderly and Mariane is very patient and continually tries to find ways to make expainations easy for her to understand. We have worked with two other Beltone locations (in other states) and Mariane is far superior. Also want to mention how much we appreciate Ruth at the front desk. She is always cheerful, helpful and very professional. The staff at this Beltone location treats us as family or friends rather than just a customer. We very highly recommend!

UPDATE:These folks keep getting better. I went in yesterday for one of my periodic free checkups (nice system they have!) and with two problems:1) I had misplaced my pocket remote (for changing programs -- likewhen youe in a noisy room vs. sitting at dinner). Buying a backup seemed like a necessity. 2) Getting the volume on the TV right for memeans its too loud for my wife -- and weve found a show with can watch together!. Ive read about remote units that can be put next to the TV and set to broadcast directly to our earring aids. More money out the door!No! Both handled at no cost! Marianne put an Ap on my cellphone that does both. The cellphone now adjusts my programs AND volume levels AND, put next to the TV, allows me to set my volume separate from my wifes. As I told Marianne, finding Beltone has been a blessing -- and having her as my professional audiologist, with the regular no-cost appointments -- wow! I could not be luckier. Thanks!Let me add: Im a music teacher at the Old Town School of Folk Music(where Im known as Skip). I cant imagine what Id do without thisprofessional level of care. Before Beltone, every hearing aid companywas primarily a sales operation.----------------------------------.(8 months ago)Ive intended to write this for years -- finally doing so. Until finding this office, my hearing experts were sales representatives. That included people Ion line and people at Costco. I recognized that immediately, but... what could I do? In each case, they may have been trained in audiology, but their their goal was boosting sales. After three bad expeirences -- and no progress in the quality of my hearing -- I decided to try the more expensive choice: Beltone. I knew it would cost more -- and dreaded that. But I knew their reputation in hearing reseach. Early in my hearing problems Id participated in a study at their labs in the Chicago suburbs. I had resisted buying their hearing aids because of the cost. SO often, so VERY often, you can find good quality at a lower cost. But here, for me, that didnt work at all. coming to Hearwell and getting Beltone aids,I finally had good quality. The difference was dramatic. That was both in the quality of my hearing AND -- much more important -- I was now being helped by someone as professional as my physician: Marianne Gaspery.And thats the kind of relationship. My cost was higher -- I got on a payment plan. But the cost of the hearing aids included regularly scheduled appointments, first bi-weekly, then monthly- and now twice a year, even after the hearing aids are paid off. At each of these appointments, i report how Im doing. When needed, my hearing is retested, Im shown the changes, if any,, and shown the adjustments. My Beltone hearing aids (at the low end of their models) have multiple microphones in them to handle sound from different directions and different types -- so the kinds of adjustments in directions and in calebration of the instruments is enormous. KEY: these appointments are at no cost. And, to my amazement, even now after the hearing aidsare paid off, and my tests are showing natural decline in my hearing related to aging,: there has been no sales pitch, no suggestion, no push of any kind to get me to buy a new, higher priced model of hearing aid. What there has been is more adjustments in the amazing little instrumentsI now OWN (whew!). Marianne is highly trained and as professional as my physicians -- she is dedicated to her patients, not a salesperson. She is also an active member of the local community, contributing and helping raise money for good causes. In short: anyone with a hearing question or problem would be well-served by talking with her.
