Out of the three places I went, by far this was the most professional. They took the time from the moment I met the doctor to the end to do a full analysis of my ears, explained what my options were, an treated me as if I was part of the family. It may be in the “expensive” shopping area in Chicago but they don’t treat you any different if your not rich. Would highly recommend!

I had a wax ball the size of Godzilla in my ear. It took thec help of three doctors, but dag gammit they came to my aid.10/10 Would return again.They were super friendly & thorough.

I knew that my right Oticon hearing aid was not working while I was on vacation in Florida, but decided not to wear them until I got back to Chicago to have them and my hearing checked. Then Covid happened and decided not to return to Chicago until it was safe to travel (18months). My hearing had not change much and the problem with the right hearing aid was the tube, which they replace. I was introduced to the latest technology from Oticon and immediately made the decision to change to this latest version. The background noise was substantially reduced. This was my only complaint with my current hearing aids.I look forward to getting the new hearing aids

The Hearing Health Center is wonderful. All of the staff members there are friendly, knowledgeable and easy to deal with. The hearing test they conduct right there in their offices and have a variety of hearing aids to choose from.

The quality of care is superb. I have been using Dr Ronnas group for over 25 years and as a physician have been referring my patients there regularly. Pay no attention to the flashy ads for cheap-o hearing aids. Youll just be wasting your money and raising your blood pressure.

Hi 33M here and I’ve had bad ears for as long as I can remember (on my father’s side) and had been putting off getting my ears cleaned. I had to go in a few times because I had really hard wax, but then over debroxed myself (wax softener). They never gave up on me though and I now have super clear ears that I can hear a mouse’s heartbeat with (I’m sure actual results may vary :P )These practitioners are great, my only regret is I’m moving to Seattle and cannot continue with them.

I found this place from a google search because I was having trouble finding an audiologist on my insurances website. I am so lucky this was the one that answered the phone and got me in so quickly! I saw Dr. Emily and had a wonderful experience. Everyone was so kind and she did a great job with ear wax removal and making it as painless as possible. She also did a great job at explaining what was happening with my hearing and ringing in the ears and assuring me things would be ok and helped me with hearing aids. I was so happy and amazed sitting in her office hearing for the first time without the ringing in my ears. I highly recommend!

Dr McFadden is excellent! She is very knowledgeable & has a delightful manner. She took her time and covered every detail & gave important future recommendations. She answered all my questions.She is by far the nicest doctor I have ever met, but most import is her expertise.

I would like give a minus 5 on stars if I could. I made an appointment and the lady said my insurance was in order but I needed a doctor referral. When I got there I did not receive a see through mask as promised in the commercial. I was told I should have been instructed to also bring a doctor prescription. I would also have to pay $3000 upfront and claim from my insurance. I cannot help noticing that the reviews and celebrity endorsements are from a particular religious persuation.

Like the world, one of my aids just broke. Elizabeth M got me an appt for the next day, was professional and is working towards getting my aid repaired. Recently (and esp in these times) - there have been just too many days where Ive felt that people just seem to not care ... lack pride in themselves. Elizabeth does and so does HHC.

Amanda McFadden, Au.D is one of the best Doctor of Audiology we have been to in years! She is a very caring and patient person, and her attention to detail is refreshing. She has a wonderful bubbly personality that make you feel at ease the second you meet her. And her follow up for any issues brought to her attention is impeccable. I highly recommend her if you are looking for a Doctor of Audiology, you will not be disappointed!

It’s a great place and service is top notch. I was a little disappointed that a normal hearing exam was not fully covered by insurance. While leaving I was told I had to pay a $45 fee for the clinic visit. It would have been nice to know this up front so as not to be surprised. I’m sure I paid before but I guess it slipped my mind after a year gap between visits. Either way I will continue to support this location. The service is well worth $45.

Friendly, expert service - what you would expect. $7k for two hearing aids, all inclusive of assessment, hardware and fitting appointments. A lucrative business for sure but its pretty much the going rate.

Dr. Trittschuh is amazing. She made an experience that I was not ready for (having to get nearing aids) into one where, by the end of our conversation, I was smiling and laughing. I thank God for the Hearing Health Center. A new chapter began in my life on August 24, 2017. I visited the center with a hearing problem since January 2017. I was greeted with smiles from the ladies at the desk. The first impression says a lot to me and I was pleased. Dr. Jaclyn Riel came and introduced herself to me and I felt her spirit of concern, I was happy and very comfortable with her. We went to her office and she explained that she would look into my ears and the sight was waxed built up. I had never had my hears cleaned before now, I will. Next, she explained about the test she would be doing in the audio booth and I wasnt scared. After, the audio booth we went back to her office. Dr. Riel said, Susan I want to put some hearing aids in your ears so that you can hear want I am going to say to you. After. Dr. Riel did that and ask, Can You hear Me. Tears just started flowing down my face and I couldnt stop because I could hear and I didnt know that I couldnt hear until that moment. Now I can hear rustling of the trees and the birds talking to one another. I love my experience with the Hearing Health Center and my new hearing aids.

Dr. Riel is more than a audiologist for my family. I have three children who have hearing losses. I came to The Hearing Health Center to get my daughter and youngest son new hearing aids. While at this appointment I received a call that my middle son had just been diagnosed with cancer. Dr. Riel continued to move forward with getting their hearing aids ordered while comforting me during the saddest point in my life.While going through our family cancer journey the Hearing Health Center Foundation was introduced to me again because my son was diagnosed with a hearing loss. The Hearing Health Center Foundation found a donor to provide my son with two in the ear hearing aids to restore his hearing. I especially appreciated her careful testing and then the reprograming, cleaning, and adjusting she did to reflect the new findings. From the moment I made the appointment to the follow through, the process was informative and seamless. The testing was very thorough and the results were simply explained. My options were also presented in a form that was clear with the pros and cons of each. Very professional.

I called in hopes of scheduling an emergency appointment but they were unable to get me in which was understandable. The staff then called around for other ENTs in the area and actually got me an appointment scheduled within a couple hours!!! Ive suffered from Tinnitus in my left ear for over a year, and have tried every remedy I could in order to get some relief, with no luck. After a regular doctor visit, referral to an ENT doctor, hearing tests, etc., and still no help, I decided to try the Hearing Health Center. I met with Dr. Riel, and after a hearing test, she very simply explained what could be causing the Tinnitus, and how we might be able to manage, or completely stop it. She suggested we do a trail on a hearing aid to bring the hearing in my left ear up to normal levels, and so far its working! Dr. Riel was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and went out of her way to help me understand all of my treatment options, and costs. For the first time in almost a year, I have finally experienced some peace and quiet, and I cannot thank Dr. Riel enough. My visit to Hearing Health Center has quite literally changed my life.

The entire staff, starting with the front desk reception, is very helpful and attuned to my needs as a patient. There are lots of options for hearing aids, and not one of them is best for everyone. Dr. Laura Buskirk stepped in for a previous (and outstanding) HHC audiologist, and took an immediate interest in my history and present needs. This office and staff is top-notch.

Great, I dealt mostly with Laura Buskirk, and she was very careful and helpful. My hearing aid from over seven years ago needed a repair, which she did effectively, but without pressure she also convinced me that newer ones are greatly improved.

I have been wearing hearing aids for almost five years. They were okay because I didnt know there was something better. Got tired of changing batteries at the most inconvenient times. Then a friend of mine told me about Lyric hearing aids. OMG my hearing couldnt be better. No more beeps that tell you your battery is dying. Yippee. I can hear so well and Dr. Laura Buskirk at the downtown location is the best. Went to a 1,000 person dinner yesterday and could hear the whole program. They are more expensive than a regular hearing aid but certainly well worth it. They get totally replaced about every six to eight weeks. I keep waiting for the BEEP, but I never hear it!!!! If you are looking to get hearing aids for the first time, please go the the nearest Hearing Health Center. Not everyone qualifies for the Lyric, but they do extensive testing and give you a free 30 day trial. Dont wait another day. These are the best things in the world. If you already have hearing aids, please check Lyric!!! I guarantee you will love them.Barbara Berman

I saw Dr. Buskirk last week for a problenm with my remote control. She corrected it effortlessly and cleaned and checked my hearing aids without asking! She spent time with me asking me questions to ensure my hearing aids were giving me optimum performance.I have been going to this clinic for about 3 years. I discovered them through my firms Wellness Week. Hearing Health Center had a booth offering a free hearing test. I had been having hearing problems for years but was terrified what I would find. Sure enough, the audologist, Dr. Bugg, suggested more comprehensive testing at the clinic and I left the Center with the tiniest hearing aids I had ever seen! And could I hear! My hearing problem involved not hearing convsations properly -- that is gone now! Thanks Hearing Health Center!

At first glance you might think that offering free hearing test at Hearing Health Centers is a gimmick. I can assure you it is not. Dr. Ronna Fisher and her entire staff at HHC is dedicated to the world of hearing health. They want everyone to know exactly where their hearing condition currently stands. After watching close relatives sink into a very dark and lonely world because they refused to recognize their hearing loss, I can attest to the fact that hearing is not just a hearing problem but can lead to serious health issues.Another wonderful feature about HHC is that they offer a wide variety of hearing products to fit everyone’s needs. The world of hearing devices is changing as fast as the chip development world and HHC keeps up with many manufactures who bring new and innovative products to the market at a very rapid rate.I started with very basic hearing devices over ten years ago with HHC and now have some of the most sophisticated in the market. The Hearing Health Center was recommended to me by a physician who is a customer. I have had continuously good service from the Hearing Health Center since my first visit in 2011. The audiologists are experts, and the whole staff provides great customer service. Recently a small part of my hearing aids earpiece disappeared, affecting my hearing aids performance. Dr. Buskirk managed to get the manufacturer to replace the piece and service the hearing aid free of charge, although my warranty had expired. Thanks again, Dr. Buskirk!

I have been working with Laura Buskirk, an audiology extern in your Chicago office and I wanted to write to say what an excellent experience I am having with her. She is very professional and so helpful and knowledgable. She is currently helping me with connectivity issues with my Starkey Halo 2 bluetooth hearing aids and although we have determined that they are defective, she has been so helpful as an advocate between myself and this company. Laura has gone above and beyond to try and resolve these issues for me. The quality of her work and her personality are top notch! Ive had several audiologists in other cities I have lived in and one other here in Chicago and she is by far the best!I I also want to say that I have worked with Ashley St. Peter in your office and I would say the exact same things about her. You have a great staff!

Went in for warranty repair on my Starkey Hearing Aids. Was there 10 minutes. Was charged $95. Over the past 4 years have had to get my devices serviced at least six times while under warranty. In none of those instances was I ever charged. These prior experiences were with other dealers. I went to HHC because it was closer to my home. I wont be going back. Disappointing experience. If you need warranty work done on your hearing aids, know this before you go. You will be charged a hefty visit fee just for walking in....
