I live in a high-rise condo downtown and experienced water damage from the unit above me. Our building engineer didnt know what he was doing so I called Service Master and they were able to take care of my unit and handle the claim with my insurance and association. I was very pleased with their service.
My next door neighbor had a chimney fire and ServiceMaster was already there doing the work so I hired them to do the work in my house. I had smoke damage and some water damage since we live in row homes. The fire department got water in my house when they were putting out the neighbors fire. My experience with them was great, they cleaned all the soot of the walls, repaired the affected walls, cleaned all my furniture and area rugs. Actually I was surprised how good my area rugs looked, Lorenzo is amazing, he brought them back to life. As for the rest of the work I was very happy with the end result and It didnt take as long as I thought It would.
This company exceeded my expectations. This is not the first time I experience water damage in my home. The first time I hired a horrible company and the whole process was confusing, time consuming and awful. This time, I was in the process of remodeling my home and we were on the final touches when a contractor drilled a hole in a pipe and did not realize it until the water was turned on, I had water everywhere because the affected pipe was on the 3rd floor of my home and they had to go to the basement to turn on the water, by the time they caught it the damages were severe. I cannot begin to explain how upset I was, every room in this house has high end finished, from cabinets to flooring and fixtures, all severely wet. The contractor called ServiceMaster and they arrived within 45 minutes. I was hesitant to use them because the contractor caused the mess and he called them to come save everything. I was in panic mode. ServiceMaster did a great job calming me down and assuring me they could save everything. They also made sure to communicate with me 100% and although they were called out by the contractor they knew this was my home and they reported to me. For the record this expense was paid for by the contractor. I was really happy to have used ServiceMaster, the entire time was amazing.
My condo experienced water damage from a frozen burst pipe in the unit above. The unit is vacant and of course they had turned off the heat. My duplex unit experienced most of the water damage. I called my insurance company, they sent out ServiceMaster of Lake Shore to stabilize my property, unfortunately the damage was more severe than i thought. several rooms were affected, flooring, drywall, carpet, and cabinets. I just spent a lot of time and money remodeling my condo, I just purchased it this summer and its the second water loss I experience. So far I am not happy with my neighbors, but there is not point in complaining about it anymore. However I am glad i went with ServiceMaster. They did a great job of explaining the work in detail as well as navigating the insurance claims process. At this point i have to move out temporarily from my home, but I am confident that I am in good hands. I highly recommend them.Thank you!
This is the go-to company for HVAC/Air Duct cleaning. We have had other companies clean our ducts and they have never been as thorough as ServiceMaster, I was actually shocked at how much detail goes into cleaning ducts. They cleaned 4 levels of an office space in one day, as where other companies take about 2 days and are not a thorough as ServiceMaster, they definitely have earned my continued business.
