My recruiter at LaSalle was AMAZING. He is attentive, responsive, professional, and one of the best recruiters Ive ever gotten the opportunity to work with. I had been job hunting since March 2020 and for the first time ever, I came across a recruiter who knew exactly what they were doing and had a strong passion for their role. He made sure I was on track, had everything I needed prior to every single interview, and was going above and beyond consistently from the start.

I truly enjoyed my experience working with LaSalle Network. I was looking to make a career change and Blake Vogelhuber ensured the position she would find for me would be a position that would transition to a permanent position, since I was leaving a company I had worked for , for three years. Throughout the entire process Lasalle kept me updated and the Project Manager, Laura Brennan made sure she stayed in constant communication with me.Whenever I had a payroll question, Jacqueline Gonzalez always gave immediate response, making me feel extra special! I want to give a special thanks to all the staff including Devin Hines and her amazing employees , Blake Vogelhuber, Laura Brennan, and Jacqueline Gonzalez…you guys Rock! Thank you!

I was able to get 2 separate positions with Lasalle and my last one ended in a permanent position for a company that I love. I am very appreciate and grateful for the help that I have received with finding great jobs. However, when it comes to communication on things that I needed, the help or lack thereof was awful. It seems that when I actually needed things from the recruiters they were of no help. It made me feel that they only care to follow up with you or communicate with you when they are trying to place you in a position. With my last position, there were times where I would communicate with the recruiter about my schedule or anything else that was pertinent to me working and they would never relay the message to my supervisor so I eventually stopped going to them and directly to my supervisor. Recently, I asked them for contact information from that previous position and I was told that Katie, who I spoke with, had to get it from Blake because she was the direct contact. After a few days of hearing absolutely nothing back I called Katie about 3 times and left messages and I then proceeded to call Blake and left a message. Neither of them returned my call or got me the information I needed. I was trying to get a reference letter which I explained to Katie that I needed pretty soon. Still to this day, neither of them have returned my call or tried to assist. It’s going on about 3.5 weeks. I had to go through my own means to get this information that should have been easily given to me since at the time I was still a client with Lasalle. This behavior was pretty much the norm the entire time that I had a relationship with Lasalle which was about a year and a half. Whenever I actually needed things I had to call and leave messages a bunch of times and no one would ever return my call or actually help with what I needed. So my point is that yes, I’m grateful that I worked two great positions with the help of the recruiters but, with every other aspect, it was a bad experience. I would hope this gets corrected in the future but I’m sure it won’t.

I was approached by LaSalle Network on behalf of lending firm and had an absolute remarkable experience. Elena was my primary point of contact and was not only attentive and thorough, but kind as well. Prior to LaSalle reaching out to me, I had been approached by numerous recruiters across the country and the conversation always seemed scripted or forced in a way and therefore, I never desired to continue the process of exploring further. LaSalles approach however, is friendly, professional, and engaging. I felt like a real person was on the other end of the line. Elena was very knowledgeable about the position being offered and had done her homework on me, as well, which made me feel valued as a job candidate. Truthfully, I was content in my previous position, but Elena was able to plant the seed in a way that opened my curiosity to a new venture and I am quite pleased she did. I am happy and inspired in my new role and grateful to LaSalle for their help and guidance in this process. Excellent experience all around!

LaSalle reached out to me about a position. I hadn’t been actively looking for work, but had a public profile on Indeed. I went through two LaSalle interviews and three subsequent interviews with the company they were recruiting for. I did not get the job. What’s frustrating is the alleged reason why.LaSalle told me not to focus on the company as other applicants were rejected based on their over-enthusiasm about the company; it seemed as if they just wanted to get their foot in the door. Well I was rejected for “lack of enthusiasm”. No other notes per the recruiter. And to add insult to injury the recruiter called me and left a brief message to call her back - I was unavailable and called her back 30 minutes later. She didn’t return multiple phone calls for three days. Basically since I hadn’t gotten the job I was no longer worth her time. I spoke with her briefly and sent a follow up email - again, no reply. I got the sense that they hyper focus on roles rather than candidates. That’s fine, but it doesn’t make you want to utilize their services in the future. I spent a lot of time on this just to be tossed aside without any further opportunity.Additionally, midway through the process I discovered LaSalle had given me incorrect information about this role which was rather important. The recruiter refused to acknowledge this error and insisted I got the information elsewhere, even though I hadn’t sought this job, and knew little about it prior to LaSalle. So where would I have gotten this information if not from them?Everyone was friendly, but after a rather laborious process with little feedback and no follow up I have a rather bad taste in my mouth.

Initially I was reached out to by Doug. Who had no actual positions in mind. He asked a lot of questions and then at the end of the conversation stated he would talk to his team about opportunities for me and I never heard from anyone after. Fast forward to about two weeks ago I got a call from Jordan asking if I was still interested in a position and had a brief discussion about a possible opportunity. He stated that a woman that was working on the staffing for this particular position would get in touch with me within a day or two. I have yet to be contacted. Agencies like this are a complete waste of ones time. They have zero respect for a job seekers time and after talking to both Doug and Jordan it is obvious that this company is doing nothing more than filling their roster. They are not looking for what is good for the job seeker as much as they are looking to add to their pool of potential candidates. If you value your own time don’t waste it with this place because that is all it is. Also Jordan doesn’t even pay attention he left me a voicemail saying he hoped he had the right number because my greeting said Martha. No Jordan, pay attention my greeting says nothing more than the number you reached. What a joke!

I saw a position they posted on LinkedIn so I submitted an application thinking I was applying to what I saw. Their posts on LinkedIn are misleading. I ended up finding out that their so called application was really an application to have a member of their recruiting staff help you find other opportunities. I contacted the person I had spoken to, explained that I wanted to cancel the zoom meeting I scheduled, and she never responded. Everything was fine until I wanted to cancel. Okay. So, I called this morning to confirm whether the meeting had actually been cancelled since I had not heard anything. Some common courtesy would go a long way.

The impression I got was that LaSalle runs things like a cattle call, from the reception area to the people interviewing to the people that followed up with a job opportunity the next day, no one is interested in how much Ive accomplished or what I can offer a company, (even though Ive been placed by them before AND have been highly recommended) they are only interested to see if I can successfully be placed in an assignment that can give them commission.  I tried steering the conversation to what Im capable of and the cold way I was treated just made me shut down.  LaSalle seems more interested in creating a celebratory atmosphere with all their oversized balloons taking up the waiting room area and very little on treating the candidates like people.

My contact is named Grace, and she conducted my initial phone screen with LaSalle. We had a lovely phone conversation and her excitement for finding her candidates the right fit is infectious. Grace checked my references, then submitted me to the client that day. My phone screen and face to face interview with the client were scheduled that same week. After an additional face to face (the following week) an offer was extended (and I happily accepted).Grace is very committed. There were many times when I received emails from her late at night with updates. She truly cares about her career, candidates and clients. She also has fantastic follow up and follow through. She will return your call or email right away.Grace organized a “congratulations” lunch, and I had the opportunity to meet Kristin as well. The LaSalle Network excels at job placements by getting to know the individual, the company, and the industry. They are attentive to details, and include factors beyond a persons resume and the basic job description. Their staff of executive recruiters take the time to mock interview, provide timely follow-ups, and offer insight into the position and company that would not have been received through a basic online application. My experience with LaSalle Network was extremely rewarding. They introduced me to employment opportunities I did not know were available in Chicago, and they offered advice and support throughout my interviewing process.Through LaSalle Network I was able to land more than just a job; they introduced me to a wonderful company and helped me kick-start the career of my dreams. I interviewed with them over a year and a half ago. Never received a follow up. I interviewed with them again today. I decided to never attempt to find work through them again after this interview. One, I was interviewed by a woman named Laura who said she is in the healthcare position so she has nothing for me. Why am I even getting interviewed by someone who can’t help me even though she read my resume before. She was really pushy and she had a “You need to take whatever job we offer you with whatever pay. You don’t say what you want, we say what you want” kind of attitude. She said “I don’t want to come off as rude but.....” You shouldn’t even start a sentence with that. They need better professional skills. They take you into a random room that’s available and they sound like they are reading a script. I eventually got interviewed by someone else who kind of had the same attitude. I didn’t feel like I was important and was not spoken to like I was. They just want to place you and hurry and get you out the door. And they shelve all kind of “awards” and got the same balloons claiming they are celebrating something. Pictures hanging everyday. Almost tripped over them lol....There’s no diversity in there. I feel like I was pushed off because I wasn’t acting desperate but desiring a stable job instead of a random temp job starting at $12 or something. They don’t like people who know what they want. They just want to get job placement numbers up even if you end up working in a sweat shop for $5 an hour. I’d recommend Advanced Resources or Beacon Hill to find a job in Chicago. They care, they are consistent and they follow up. But this company is not great. I actually warned someone who was getting interviewed with them. I’ll never recommend them to anyone and will warn others. It’s a waste of time.

All the LaSalle recruiters Ive worked with have been extremely supportive, informative, available, and thoughtful during the hiring process as well as throughout my work on the most recent assignment. I was clear on what LaSalles expectations are and how to communicate with the recruiters and their teams. Transparent about the processes that take place, whats required of me, and what the team is working on in the meantime - LaSalle kept me confident that it is extremely professional and really on top of things.

They asked me in for an interview and then I never heard from them again. While in the interview, they seemed confident that they would be able to find something for me No problem. Do NOT use this recruiter.

They seemed friendly when reaching out to me on various occasions during my employment search. I made the effort of coming into the office, taking some tests, and beefing up my resume. Ive been willing to take on various roles in IT or customer service -- city or suburbs. Yet somehow LaSalle has never managed to find me a single hour of work. When I mentioned that I didnt have a car, my contact seemed concerned. Maybe they dont believe that I am capable of making it to a job site -- which is a concern that would have no basis in reality.

I recently had a great experience with the Lasalle Network. I was applying for positions and not having any luck when I was contacted by Kelly Ogle, a recruiter for LaSalle. I went in for a meeting with her and she presented me with a job that she thought I would be a good fit for. I decided I wanted to interview for the position and Kelly set things in motion. She was a constant support throughout the entire process and I know her confidence in me helped me as well. I had three interviews and even had to take a test and Kelly was there throughout the entire process. I ended up with an offer for the position and couldnt have been any happier!! Overall, I think my end result was better than it would have been if I had been job hunting and interviewing without the help of LaSalle.

The 1-star reviews are legit. Horrible communication and it seems like they mainly work with companies that have a high turn over rate. Dont waste your time. Seriously.

LaSalle Network has been so helpful. They are very on top of it. They contacted me in less than 24 hours of submitting my resume. It has only been a week since I have met with them, and I already have a temp job with a great company, with a possible opportunity to go permanent. I highly recommend using LaSalle!

I feel the organization can be a great place for those they are trying to help if communication was heightened. From the start of my initial interview until I requested to have my information pulled, I was unable to find out who my point of contact actually was. I made sure to provide my interests and hopes, but they seemed to be swept aside to cater to the goals of the agency and not necessarily to yourself and the agency. It didnt seem like a cohesive plan for both parties. If you are striving for a direct hire, I would advise a different method as I was informed that area of the company is incredibly small. Most offers made are contract and temp-to-hire. I applaud their efforts and wish them the best as they continue to work with valuable candidates.

Honestly I give them 0 stars instead of one. I was scheduled for an interview at a job for their company only to find out they were just recruiters helping me find a job at another company. When I walked in there were balloons in the waiting room (extremely unprofessional) and their tv was playing CNN (a very biased and unprofessional news station). I met with two recruiters who just asked me questions that were either already on my resume or were easily accessible on Indeed, Career Builder, etc.All they did was waste my time. Companies like this dont care about finding work for people because if they did they would provide job opportunities for jobs in LaSalle rather than another company in the area. No one has time to go through all these hoops for a low-paying job.

I met with Lasalle Network about two months ago. After meeting with them I have received one job opportunity, to be a recruiter at LaSalle. I was recommended LaSalle by a friend and now tell all my friends in the job market to not work with them. I have also tried to email the recruiter whom I met with four times and have received no responses to my resume updates or requests to see if anything is available. The other recruiting company I am working with, Aerotek, answers all of my emails quickly and has already sent me multiple opportunities. I understand sometimes there are not always a ton of availabilities, but I would at least appreciate a response to my emails.

It seems like they only value you if you cant find a job for yourself or have qualifications but are willing to settle for a lot less. Basically if your in a bind or dont have experience; both advantageous to them. After being submitted for a position I was over qualified for after getting out of training, I was then asked a series of questions by some one with braces. Few days later after playing phone tag with this person I was told the client was not going to hire at the moment. Yeah, I initially though they were trolling me but I soon realize that theyre just inept.

The LaSalle Network was amazing to work with. They were very attentive to what I was looking for in a career move and found me the perfect role. I love their effort to follow up and their preparation for each interview is excellent. I highly recommend them especially for accounting and finance recruiting.

I would not recommend doing any form of recruiting business with LaSalle. After asking plenty of times to be relocated or given another position elsewhere in their network and being told to stick it out, itll get better I found another job. I was let go from my company a week into my 2 weeks notice. Which I then found out was LaSalles decision.Like many of the reviews here, they dont care about you as a person. Instead you are a number that gives them profit. I found some of the income information around my employment and was embezzled over 35% of my expected income. I understand that recruiting companies thrive off of recruitment/employment funds but 35% is outrageous.

Not too helpful. They will badger you with phone calls, and are rude when you are not interested in temporary positions they offer.

In my job search, I worked with several employment agencies in order to widen my network. LaSalle is by far the most responsive, most invested agency that I have worked with. Furthermore, once they placed me, my LaSalle representative continued to stay in touch to ensure mutual satisfaction.I would highly recommend LaSalle.

To follow my previous review. I interviews with them in the beginning of the year and that’s it. This yeah I received 14 calls for them asking to come in for an interview but once I informed them that I already did I get the same speech “ oh, well we will keep your resume on file and reach out if we have anything”. That’s it. After contacting my recruiter she wanted to speak with me but for 2 weeks we kept scheduled calls and then nothing. I call her, leave a voicemail and send an email to see if we are still having our meeting and the only response I get is “ yes I’m available until 4” but I called again and nothing. Just stay away. It’s not work your time or energy. Just trying to reach someone is a full time job with them

They revised my resume, required that I use that one instead of the original. The revised was so bad, the interviewer complained that the resume was saying nothing. They also give the lowest pay rate.

I came across LaSalle Network about 2 months ago when looking for a new job and I must say they changed my entire perspective of employment agencies. Ive met with a few in the past and they didnt seem as involved with helping me so you can imagine my hesitation at first. But from the first time I walked in, to my final interview with my new employer Anne and LaSalle Network were there with any support and preparation that I needed which was a great feeling. The staff there is friendly and professional which also goes for their office presentation. I would definitely recommend working with them if you need some extra help looking for an employment opportunity thats fit for you.

They had me take time off work to go downtown and interview with them when an email or phone call wouldve sufficed since all we did was walk through my resume and my expectations for a new position. They never actually sent me a job posting nor followed up with me until I reached out to them multiple times. When I finally did hear back from them we never got to talk because the recruiters were always busy. Ended up being a waste of time as they never sent me a single job posting. I would avoid and find someone else.
