They do a lot of car detailing but they should have a special lane for car wash customersI had to sit and wait at least 10 min in my car because they were detailing the car in front, the owner was not there so it was a car that was left for the service. They are not attentive to the drive through customer.

I own multiple motorcycles and a 2018 Dodge Ram 2500 Power Wagon. I also have purchased the yearly option with unlimited washes and three waxs per year. I have been a client of Well Clean for decades and by far they are the best car wash and detail shop in the city. They are meticulous with my bikes both with washes and waxes and take extra care with my truck including checking and adjusting my air pressure every time I come it. You can payless and get what you pay for or you can pay more and not get what you will at Well Clean.

Have been coming here for years and recommend to everyone. Reasonably priced for the excellent work they preform. Recently had the help me out with some deck stain that I got on my car. They were able to remove it without a problem and the car looks amazing!

Now called “Auto Spa Chicago” , I assume they changed their name to shake bad past reviews I bought a 600+$ year long package which came with a detail I wasn’t able to get in For my detail during the year (I was out of town) and when I tried to get them to do my detail I got run around and never called back I called several times never got a return call from the ownersNowhere do they state the detail must be done within that 12 months, but they were quick to take my moneyTheir washes are terrible anyways my vehicle always had spots on it after or bugs still stuck to the front and even a few new scratches after going there. Such a disappointment such a waste of money and they don’t even honor their package deals after being a customer since the mid 90’s I’ll never go back again

Always good service here, they do a great job cleaning the exterior and interior as well. Its a bit pricey, but definitely well worth the cost for an authentic hand wash place. Their interior detailing is very precise too, I remember getting it a year or so ago. Highly recommend going to them, especially since they have multiple locations too and are open almost all year round.

Excellent from start to finish. The staff at Well Clean pulls your car in to a very clean & well ventilated garage where they hand wash & dry your car. After that, your car mats are taken out, the floors, seats & trunk are vacuumed clean. All of this while you wait in a comfortable, clean waiting room with TV & Magazines. Ive bought 3 month unlimited washes almost every winter in Chicago, stopping in once a week to rinse all the salt and grime from my Jeep. Well worth it.

There is ALWAYS a line and sometimes it moves faster than others, however hand-wash places will always take longer than automatic car washes.I am a member holder and the staff is also welcoming and friendly. Jose, although he is a Manager, is always seen actively helping his employees on the floor. I have been coming here for a couple years and if you can tolerate the line, I recommend a membership if you get your car washed once a week or more. Individual hand washes can add up quickly and this place is no exception. It is expensive, but there are not a lot of places that offer unlimited hand wash memberships.In addition, they offer mini or express detailing at an additional, maybe higher cost but the couple times I have done it, I was out in under an hour.

Im a member of the Well Clean on Clybourn and they are awesome. I prepay for 20 washes at a time, and they just developed an iphone app so you dont need to remember the actual coupons anymore. So convenient and they really do a great job with both my car and my truck. My rims sparkle when I leave.

I have tried other car washes in the area and this is top notch. You can be in and out in no time and have your car looking great. They make sure your car is clean inside and out. Joe is awesome and always trying to make sure everything is perfect.

Its a good value if you do the monthly unlimited washes packages. I dont go to often and I usually get a wax thrown in as well. They do a good enough job, no swirl marks which is more than most shops can say. They seem to use clean towels for drying which, again, is more than most can say.

The quality, timeliness, and price this place is great. I’ll definitely come back.

For a regular car wash they do a decent enough job at outrageous prices.Ive had my car detailed at Well Clean and that service is certainly not worth the money. They take no time at the detailing part of detailing. Its more like a very thorough wash and wax.

They did a great job cleaning cement residue off my car. Great ealk in service. Seemed a bit expensive. In all fairness, I dont know. I dont detail my car. I may go back here though.

I have been member for approximately 4 years now and the quality has continued to diminish year after year. I am not sure if I will renew this year because of the decline??? As a member you are given at least 1 or 2 full body details but the only problem is that you have to book at least a month or two in advance to get that done on your vehicle. Well Clean should focus on quality of work instead of quantity.

I bought a Groupon to have my car detailed at Well Clean. My car is almost thirteen years old and I have never had it detailed although I do get it professionally cleaned on a regular basis at Well Clean. They do excellent work. As far as the detail goes it was so much better than I expected. Every little thing in the car had been cleaned including the cup holders, carpets, leather, all of it. It smelled like a brand new car when I picked it up. I am now committed to doing this at least once a year. Dont hesitate to take your car to this establishment. I also highly recommend their regular car wash. I always buy a card with about ten cleans on it and it brings the price per visit down to about $11 a wash for my extended mini van.

If I could give negative starts I would. I bought a Gilt City for an exterior detail. So my appointment was for a month after I called. You have to drop your car off overnight. I come back the next day to pick it up and there is a big dent on the rear bumper. When I bring this to the managers attention he says that he has the MOST HONEST employees ever, all the employees claimed to know nothing about it. So after about 30 minutes of arguing with the owner and manager and having them accusing me of bringing the car in with the dent, another customer comes by to take a look and talk to me, to which the manager told him to not talk to me cause. Well the customer pointed out that the height of the dent and the hitch on the boat they have parked in their lot was the approximate height so we brought this to the owners attention and we backed the car up to see if the dent lined up with the hitch, AND IT WAS A PERFECT MATCH. THE OWNER HAD TO FINALLY ADMIT FAULT AFTER HE WAS EXTREMELY RUDE AND ACCUSATORY!!!! IT TOOK THEM A WEEK TO FIX THE DENT. SO MUCH FOR HAVING THE MOST HONEST EMPLOYEES EVER RIGHT?????? Not sure how they claim to have been voted the #1 car wash in 2010, cause the quality and customer service has plummeted since then.Also if any part of the management wants to respond to this or call me a liar and tell the readers it didnt happen this way, well I would expect nothing else from a pathetic place such as this.THERE ARE PLENTY OF BETTER PLACES TO TAKE YOUR CAR THAN THIS PLACE.AND HERES TO HAVING THE MOST HONEST EMPLOYEES EVER (AS STATED BY MANAGEMENT) WHO SEEMED TO BACK MY CAR UP INTO A BOAT TRAILER HITCH AND NOT KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT IT!Negative 5 Stars is my review.

Ok car wash, but not worth the huge cost. $40 for a normal wash is really high. And of course you can’t see prices until you’re actually checking out. Other hand car washes are half this price and just down the road.

They do a pretty good job inside and out. Monthly membership is the best value if you use it or buying a 15 wash pass where you could probably get 2 additional free.

Pretty mediocre albeit fast hand wash, car was left streaky from the dirty towels. A $3 automated car wash would almost be better. If it werent for the free vouchers from my auto dealership, I would never come here.

Staff is friendly and they do a good job. But 31.50 for a in/out truck car wash...ripp off! I am not coming back especially with all the other car washes around here at literally half the price. Cmon!

They do a great job with the hand wash. Overall plan on spending about 20-30 minutes there as they can be a little slow especially in the drying area. Seems like they need to hire a few more people for the weekends as the cars get backed up in the drying area.

Well clean is great if you need you car cleaned at a reasonable time this is the place to go. They are able to clean the inside and outside of my car and not have me waiting an hour

Took my car to get a car wash interior and exterior, dont see the prices until you get to the cashier. For $35 I got subpar service and the manager was rude. Didnt clean my rims and blow dry the water from the windows. Very disappointed I will never come here again.

Didnt clean my car very well and the owner said I would have to get it detailed to get it clean. When I got home I noticed two of my car mats were missing. I called and Jose said he only had one and when I asked him who to speak to when I pick it up and he didnt answer and I asked him a couple more times; Jose then said are you done. Would give it a zero it I could.

I brought my car for a wash to clean off the bug residue from a road trip. I payed $26 dollars for a car wash (its a small car, a Kia Soul) that did not clean the bugs on my windshield or headlights. I told the manager, Jose, that the car was not clean. He came to check the spots I was talking about and he said that the car needed to be buffered or that I could pay for detail cleaning that costed above $100 dollars. I told him that it was bug residue, why would I pay for a detail cleaning. He got really upset and handed me a towel and spray bottle and said you do it, go ahead.I asked for a refund and he said Im not giving a refund, call the cops if you want.DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE!!! They do a very bad job, they are expensive, and will not treat you and your car right.

The crew on Clybourn is super-nice but they consistently do only mediocre work, leaving obvious dirt marks on panels, water spots and never doing the wheels right. Not being nit-picky; they only do a 90% wash, leaving me to clean up their work after each wash. [Side note: As for their Halstead location, they are crooks - charge for a detail but only do a wax - so stay away.]

Our detail clean was good, not the best Ive ever seen, but good enough for the groupon price I paid. Im giving the place 1 star however due to the terrible experience we had over our car mats.So the groupon was set to expire in September I believe, but when we called to make a reservation to bring our car in in August, we were told to bring it in in October and they would still honor the price (they did not have any openings in September).So we brought the car in in late October. When we picked it up, they told us they misplaced our car mats but they would call in a day or two when they located them. We thought this was fine, despite the inconvenience of having to drive back to pick them up. Two weeks go by and we hear nothing, so I called and they said they threw them away and they were sorry but they were old and dirty anyways. The whole story didnt make any sense, I really just think they lost them or someone stole them. But of course I was angry, so I complained until they agreed to order us new car mats. Another week goes by and they tell us the mats are ready to be picked up. So my husband went out of his way to take a train and walk almost two miles to go pick them up.Instead of ordering mats for us that were the same as the mats in the car (they were the original carpeted, beige, durable mats that came with it), the guy ordered some cheap, black rubber mats that we would have had to cut out to make fit the floor space. My husband was furious and left without taking the mats home.So I call back and complained again, and this time the guy Joe (not sure if hes the manager or what) says he will order mats from the dealer to replace exactly what was in our car. I agree that this is fine. Another week or two go by, and we get a call that the mats are in. Joe did not order us new mats, but instead got some used, dirty mats (yes they were durable and beige at least...but not what we expected after my conversation with him).After all this trouble, I would have expected at least a sincere apology or a coupon or something. We got nothing, and instead were made to feel like jerks because we expected to get our car back with the original mats in it. So frustrating. We will never go back.

Used to be a great Car Wash. Very organized, attention to detail and great work flow. Not anymore!!!! Very scattered, forgetful, running around like chickens with no heads. They work on 1 thing on 10 different cars and not one of them is done. They forget what was and what is yet to do. It is sad, I used to get my car washed here all the time but just cannot take it anymore. It takes twice as long and my car is half as clean. Brutal!

I enjoy Well Clean, my car always looks great after their wash. It really pays to get the Groupon or Well Cleans email deals, where its 6 months of unlimited washes and a detail for $149. I have been going here about 2 years now and really enjoy it.

First time taking my car to get a full service car wash and the experience was terrible. All of the windows were left very dirty, even with the sun hitting the front window there was side glare making it difficult to see while driving. This should be unacceptable considering how much this establishment charges for a car wash. I still tipped very well but the car wash was not worth $40. I had to clean the windows and the interior as well. THere was still mud And dirt on the matts and the interior was not wiped down properly. I was extremely unsattisfied. Feel like I wasted my money and time.

I came to wash my car after traveling out of state, which I do often for business, and had bug splatter as normal with traveling on my windshield and the all over the front of my car. I had paid the whopping $26 dollars for a 6 minute job that they half-assed without checking my car first. I still had blood and bug splatter in all the places of my car. After explaining with the manager that my car was still not cleaned and pointed at all the areas where there was basic bug splatter on the windshield and the hood of my car, the manager had an attitude and wanted to charge me over 100 dollars to buff my car from bug splatter! He refused to give a refund, and kept asking what he wanted me to do about the bug splatter. I normally go to Windy City Car Wash on Fullerton and I have paid half the price for pristine hand car washes and I am appalled by the unprofessionalism and horrible service of a place that has been washing cars for over 25 years as stated by the rude manager.

You have to get a Groupon or YouSwoop for the monthly unlimited wash. Then its worth it. Otherwise, I cant believe the prices. The washes are otherwise pretty good, not great, not bad. And there is usually no horrible line you have to wait in.

They do not keep good records. Do not purchase pre-pay EVER. If you do not bring the receipt they will refuse service. If you live quite a distance from them like myself (45 miles +) they will make you go back and not look at their record. The manager is great guy but the regular day person in the pay booth is LAZY and does not have good records keeping!!!!! I wont go back to this place! They scammed me by refusing my pre-pay purchased detail. I would even rate it -10 if possible.

Bottomline. I thought I was paying $20 for an exterior wash. It was an ok job. I had to wipe down the rear window, trunk and the wheels myself. At the cashiers window, I gave the attendant my credit card and told him an exterior wash. He asked wheel service, I said no. He swiped the card on a phone card reader. I didnt see a total (my fault for not asking). Later in the evening I got an email from my credit card company saying I had a $35 charge from Well Clean. I take responsibility, but wanted to give others a warning. Lesson learned for me. Id rate it a $10 wash at best. I wont be back.

If were talking about the Clybourn location, I like em. The main manager there is a very nice guy and the workers are nice people too. At the Halsted location, for about 6-9 months I was going there on an unlimited car wash basis, and I felt as though it was rushed and they never used the air nozzles. I always left thinking it was good enough for the deal I was getting by renewing an old groupon with them over and over, but I would always notice something like the shift boot still being dirty or glass smudges.

Package deals bring the cost per wash down to a reasonable price. Usually a good wash but often you need to remind the crew to blow the water out of of side-views else youll have that unattractive water spatter as soon as you drive off.

Had an expired groupon, but this business wouldnt honor the cash value. Wont be returning here. Groupon: Note: Even though your Groupon has expired, you can still redeem it at Well Clean Auto Spa for the amount you paid for it.
