Called in the morning (730) asking if they could accommodate me for a flat tire. They said first come first serve. I arrived two hours later and the wait time was until (at least) the afternoon. It would have been nice if they could have at least told me “it could be busy today” or allow me to make a reservation in the morning when I called.My review isn’t a critique on their work, so please use others to help guide your judgment on their quality. I just wish their customer interaction was more honest.

We are traveling from Michigan to California, a tire blew on our box truck. Andrew helped us out and he was great. We got in, got our tire replaced and we were back on the road within an hour and a half! And the price was amazing 👏HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! THANKS AGAIN FAT BOYS!!

I had a great experience at Fat Boys Tire & Auto. I called last week to get a price on tires and set my appointment at the same time. I was able to get the tires that I really wanted along with a free alignment with my purchase. My vehicle has almost 200k miles on it. I was sure that they were going to find something wrong with my suspension during the alignment. Instead I was told that they only had to make a couple of adjustments and everything else looked solid. I walked with the exact price I was quoted last week. We need more honest repair shops like Fat Boys Tire & Auto.

While in the back lot of Maynards, a board at the lower part of a stack was sticking out. Obviously, farther than we thought. Its corner punctured two pretty new tires on one side of our trailer. Firestone recommended Fat Boys, because they have a service truck, which we needed. Fat Boy employees were friendly and helpful, when I talked with them. He arrived and finished up in approximately 30 minutes. The service man Dusty, was simply amazing he had those tires off and fixed in no time. We ended up buying one tire, as the hole could not be repaired. Really went beyond all our expectations.. We will always use the Cheyenne Fat boys because of this experience.. Cheyenne is our usual destination.. We give our highest recommendation allowed to both Dusty and Fat Boys tire service. My husband said he wished he would have video on Dusty working. Thank you all!

The guy at the counter was polite. Service was appalling. Went in to get a new battery and when I got home I checked on the work completed. I did in fact receive the correct battery and the cables were connected but everything else was amiss. The battery hold down was not installed, they didnt even bother to hand tighten the bolt. There is also a cross bar above my battery that had to be removed prior to battery replacement and reinstalled after. One bolt was loose, the second bolt was missing, and the third bolt I found stripped. I was charged $15 for the battery installation and ended up having to complete the job myself. Does it not stand to reason that if one pays for a service it should be completed and completed correctly? Go here or not the decision is yours.Here are some places you might like instead:-Jones Lube And More-Big O Tires (on Yellowstone Road)But you dont have to take my word for it.

I was in town from Laramie and wanted to get my brakes checked. I took my Expedition to another place to get checked since they’ve been a little squeaky. They looked it over and called to tell me I needed to replace the rotors and front pads and mentioned cleaning and lubing the back to the tune of $650.That sounded sketchy, so I thought I’d get a second opinion. My sister-in-law and her husband said they had great luck with Fat Boys so I called to confirm and then dropped it off. Not long after, they called to let me know they cleaned everything because it was messy, but I had plenty of brake pad and they couldn’t find any necessary work needed at this time.They could easily have “found” something and taken my money, but they were honest that it didn’t seem necessary at this point. I’m so thankful I ended up talking with my family and went here. I’d HIGHLY recommend them because based on our experience, they will be up front and only performs necessary work. I wish more places had this kind of ethic. I’ll be giving them a call for sure next time I need to have my cars looked at.

Good guys here! They were honest and respectful and told me the truth. They didnt pressure me into something that I didnt want. Justin was nice and polite. They were super fast! I had all four tires replaced on my car and it took maybe a half an hour, from the time they took my car back to when they came and got me from their comfortable and nice waiting room. 5 stars all the way!

Whether you live in Cheyenne, are just passing through, Fat Boys Tire & Auto is hands down the best choice for all of your tire and auto needs. My fiancee and I were on our way to South Dakota earlier this month when the trailer we were towing lost traction on an icy interstate bridge just south of town; we ended up in the ditch with two badly damaged tires and one ruined rim. Our Jeep was drivable, so we found our way to the Fat Boys shop. It was 6:45 in the morning at that point, and we planned on just waiting in our car until the shop opened at 7:30. We werent sitting for more than 10 minutes before a nice gentleman named Mike came over to see if we needed help. We told him what had happened, he took a quick look at our vehicle then insisted that we go wait inside in the warm office while they took a look. Mike and his crew did everything they could to get us going again and before the shop was even officially open for business, the crew at Fat Boys had already set us up with a used rim, two new tires, checked our alignment and even test drove our vehicle to make sure we would be safe on the remaining 200 miles of our trip. Mike did everything in his power to make sure that we got everything that we needed without breaking the bank. The entire team showed true commitment to customer service and compassion for our situation. I am still in awe of the level of professionalism and courtesy each member of the team showed us that morning, we cant thank them enough for their service and kindness. Go to Fat Boys! We bought tires at fat boys and we love the tires. But if you need a flat repair or a rotation they do not want to fit you in the schedule. We have been the a multiple amount of times and they turn us saying we dont have time.. we have had to go to other shops to get this done. I believe if we pay for a warranty they should honor this!! Not send us away because the service is free!! This is why we pay extra!! Very upset and do not plan to do anymore business with this establishment.

Fat Boy is great. If you need tries, I HIGHLY recommend them. The manager Mike helped us when we needed tires in the middle of a long road trip. He could not have been more helpful or honest, or accommodating. He ordered tires for us over the phone, and prioritized us first thing in the morning so we could continue on. This place is great. My daughter and I are driving from Omaha, NE to Utah in her Isuzu Rodeo. We had a weird noise coming from the front right of the car. We stopped in a small town in Nebraska to have it checked and the mechanic there said we were losing a wheel bearing and it needed to be fixed ASAP. We opted to drive to Cheyenne and stop here at Fat Boys Tires. They took a look at it and found the tires were overinflated. They rotated the tires, fixed the pressure, and sent us on our way.I was very impressed with their professionalism and honesty. The place was very clean and cool.I highly recommend!!

Ive always had good service here! Staff is honest and hard working. They have not tried to up sell to me and offer me parts or services I did not need. They are expensive, but they use much higher quality parts than any other shop. They install Moog suspension parts, which have held up way better than the auto parts stores house brand ones Ive used in the past. I recommend Fat Boys to any and everyone!

Poor customer service from the moment i walked in. Took my vehicle here to get an alignment. Got it back and it still pulls to the side. Called them to tell them its not aligned and got the old crowning road storyI dont believe they did anything to my vehicle just charged me tire still wearing unevenlyI wouldnt waste your time or money with this establishment. Dishonest, and rude

The number one thing I look for in a mechanic is their trustworthiness, and these guys proved that they’re trustworthy. I brought my own part in for my car and either they installed it poorly or the part was bad, but without me even asking they fixed the problem for free. They could easily have told just told me my part was bad and made me pay for it, and there wouldn’t really have been anything I could do about it. To me the fact that they didn’t take advantage when they could have shows that you can trust them. A+

If you need tires, they can get anything and know their stuff. The fact that they store your winter/summer tires for you is also a nice convenience. If you have custom wheels on your vehicle that must be handled with care, make sure you inspect them thoroughly with Mike (General Manager) first. This way they know their original condition before the work is performed. I dont believe the staff in the garage handle wheels with care. My wheels came back to me with scuffs and deep scratches. I know those scratches werent there to begin with; however, proving that after the fact is impossible. Its my word against theirs. Mike addressed the issue, but I didnt push it as far as I should have. I just dont want someone else getting their wheels damaged from the Cheyenne branch.

Just went in because of a low tire, fixed it right away for free. Each time I go in they are very helpful and theyre priced are fair.

I brought my car in because it was running really rough and felt like it was going to stall out. They replaced my spark plugs, which was a relief because it was low cost. My car was still running kind of rough the next day, so I brought it back in and they tightened a few things.They really took care of me and my car, I know I can trust them. They close at 5:30 and I arrived right then. I went outside to wait on my ride so that I wouldnt get in the way of them closing on time and they invited me in to wait on my ride. They are kind and courteous and really know what they are doing.I appreciate them taking great care of me!

While driving through Wyoming I discovered 2 tires were dangerously bald. Fat Boys was the only tire shop to have Mini tires. We were there for only 20 mins. My only regret is I may never be in Cheyenne again so I wont be able to give them more business. I definitely recommend them

Discount Tire broke my wheel stud and wouldnt fix it. My husband went to every parts store in Cheyenne looking for the part but nobody had it. When he got to Fat Boys they were locking up for the day. Justin went back inside, looked and they did have the right part in stock. I felt compelled to write this review because of my positive experiences here, and I want good businesses like this to do well.I have used this Fat Boys location a few times now, and they continue to earn my business. The first time I went there because of the reviews. I dont want to go to a place that is going to try to sell extra fixes that arent necessary (or are perhaps made up). My first experience was when I brought my new-to-me 2009 RAV4 that I had only had for about a month or so when a maintenance light came on. I brought it in to get an oil change (which I believe is what the light was indicating) and to get inspected (like they normally do with any maintenance). I was quite pleased when they told me everything was in great shape, and the vehicle required no maintenance beyond the oil change. This definitely made me trust them more.My most recent experience was when I brought in my 2000 Silverado, which I had not had in a shop ever during my owning this vehicle (2 1/2 years), since I had changed my own oil, rotated my tires, etc. I decided it would be good to have them change my oil this time and see if the vehicle needed any maintenance. They found four main things that required attention and gave me a total quote as well as quotes for each individual portion. I decided to do three of the four fixes myself (and I can attest that they were not made up issues) and then brought the vehicle back for them to finish part of one of the fixes that I did not have the equipment to do myself. The fourth I am holding off on for now, since its a bit more work and not quite as time sensitive.I never felt pressured to have that work done here. The staff there is extremely friendly and happily answered a handful of questions I had along the way (even helping clarify a couple things so I could make some of the repairs myself). The staff also remembered my name when I called back the next day simply by my brief description of what I was doing with the vehicle.They also have a complimentary shuttle service, which I did not know about, so I originally brought my bike when I dropped off my truck so I could ride myself home. Now I know that I dont have to do that!I cant see myself taking my vehicles anywhere else in Cheyenne unless I need work done that cant be done here. In fact, I may stop changing my own oil in order to periodically have these professionals inspect my vehicle so I know if there are any issues that I can hopefully fix myself (or have them do if Im unable or dont have the time) before they become big problems. Highly, highly recommended!
