Bought a Jeep Libery at auction and they rebuilt my transmission in about 3 days. Even gave me some preventative tips to keep the other truck I was driving working well. Highly recommended. I think the guy that helped me was Frank.

Worst experience ever! I took my car to them to be repaired in the month of March they had my car for two weeks and when I picked it up my car was worst then when I dropped it off. I took my car back to them three times to be repaired and each time I took it Tom said something new was wrong with it. He would never call to inform me of whats going on. Whenever I asked for an update he gave me a new excuse. He even gave me a lame excuse saying the light to my license plate caused my transmission to go! I asked him to provide me paperwork of what was done each time he took my car so I can have for my record and he said he doesnt do that and I asked him to do it for me his response was I will get back to you and he never did. In the month of May, months later, he told me my car was not fixable and I need to junk it. I took my car somewhere else and they found metal shavings in my transmission, old parts mixed with new parts that did not even belong to my car. I needed a new starter, new suspension system and new tires! Tom said he rebuilt my transmission twice and that was a lie. He messed up my car more than what it was! He is a money hungry liar! He will lie and tell you to pay more money while all he is doing is messing your car up more! Dont ever take your car to Cherry Hill Transmissions ! He will mess your car up more and more so you can take it back to him to pay more money but he will never fix it! Tom is a no good man!

I brought in a transmission which needed to be resealed - Tom was a great guy to work with, very knowledgeable, and patient with my many questions. He charged me a very fair price (very fair for me) and after some time I was able to have him do the work. The job was done practically same day! I returned the day after (because I couldnt make it back that day). Nothing but great things to say about the shop, and would definitely be coming back God forbid I need anymore transmission work. These posters must understand that transmissions are a much more complicated device than say an engine, and considering the fact that most people put install used transmissions, there is no guarantee that the used part is in great shape. Not to mention a scanned code could mean one of many things, and its not like it points you directly to the problem. If you want to avoid most transmissions issues learn to drive a manual...

Recently I had major transmission problem on my car They said they did not need to replace the transmission and could repair it by fixing the damage caused by a leak. They said I dodged a bullet Despite paying 667 dollars to these people the car would stall in the middle of the road and start shaking I needed to pull the car over and turn it off and on again just to feel safe enough to drive it home again. I took it right back to them and They also said that the car was learning and adjusting to the change they made and would normalize in time At first it was 25 miles then 100. This did not happen. When I returned to them they said they would need to rebuild the transmission when they initially said this was not necessary The story kept changing throughout the entire time talking to these people The car continued to break down and felt unsafe to drive Within 2 weeks had the same problem and the car is now completely undriveable and now I need to buy a new car 10 days before Christmas no pressure. They more or less robbed me and refused to acknowledge or guarantee anything like they did not know what they were doing. As added information When I had to be towed the driver told me oh no dont go to them they are garbage! After what I went through I am inclined to agree.

I could not be happier with how they treated me and my Toyota Highlander. After my mechanic told me it was a transmission issue(that they dont do) they gave me three people to contact. AAmco, Cherry Hill Transmission and my Toyota dealer. The other two shops gave me a quote of over $3,000.00 and could not guarantee that they would stay with in that number. Cherry Hill Transmission gave me a quote of under $2,000.00 and said the would be under that most likely. Its running better then ever and Im looking to another 250,000 miles from my Toyota. They worked on one of my kids cars 3 years ago and it still runs great.Dont waste your money or your time ,call these good people there.Feel free to contact me...Im that satisfied.Joe Maro

I have only wonderful things to say about Tom and Frank at Cherry Hill Transmission. Like most people (I think!), I spent very little time thinking about my cars transmission...until there is a problem. And when there is a problem, its a big one. So i found myself with a massive problem (clutch was shot, car was nearly un-driveable) limping into Cherry Hill Transmission. They quickly diagnosed the problem and then Tom spent almost an hour on the phone calling different places to get quotes on parts -- and this was all before I had agreed to have them do the work. Ultimately the parts and labor cost about $300 less than the other quote that I got and I went with Cherry Hill Transmission. The repair work was done in a timely fashion (they said 7 days, car was ready on the 8th day). Approximately 2 weeks later I had a problem with the manual shift linkage and brought the car back. They covered the work to repair the shift linkage within 24 hours, deemed it work covered under their warranty, and did not charge me anything. There were a number of occasions where a less scrupulous repair center could have taken advantage of me, but Tom and Frank were fair and direct. 10/10 would recommend to a friend.

Worst place a person can ever take their vehicle to. Tom is a thief. This guy will basically damage your engine/Trans and will keep on damaging your vehicle just so he can take your money. This is not a honest company.

Im a mechanic myself and took my for this car to get transmission checked out for free to get free diagnosis and they said it needed new transmission I ask why mechanic didnt seem to know nothing like if he was stupid i definitely dont recommend any taking their car here for repairs they dont know how to do a diagnosis they figured it would be easier to just tell you that you need a new transmission

Also a warning. Transmission was supposedly rebuilt by Cherry Hill Transmission on 6/21/ 12. Problem with hard shifting still exsists .Returned car 4 times, same results, different excusses each time. Kept car from 3 to 8 days. Manager lied about everything,or would not give me information as to how they would remedy problem. Took car to have transmission scanned at another center. They said problem is in trans, called P1189 long shift. Took car back to Cherry Hill Trans on 5/6/13. Would not let manager near car, requested another transmission Tech, to use scanner, and test drive. Scan showed problem to be P1189 long shift. He drove car, acknowledged auto trans bangs when shifting gears. Same problem as before 6/21/12. Shop owner Joe,wants me to to leave car again for a few days, so his men can drive it around,What? Joe is nothing but BS. He seems to think he can convince you of anything. When I brought car back each time, they refused to acknowledge it on my 12 month or 12,000 mi guarantee,or even extend guarantee. Im now in touch with NJ Division of Consumer Affairs. I like the other gentlemans feeling, will not lay down and be beat for $1792.25. Dennis Cann Sr. Cherry Hill NJ

THEN THEY KEEP MY CAR FOR ANOTHER 10 DAYS AND TRY TO TELL ME I NEED OTHER PARTS THAT WERENT ORIGINALY PART OF MY OVER PRICED WORK ORDER. THEY ARE SCAM ARTISTS AND TERRIBLE FOR OUR COMMUNITY. THEY HAVE RIPPED OFF THE WRONG GUY AND THEY WILL SEE THEIR DAY IN COURT. AND JOE YOU KNOW THE DISSERVICE YOU HAVE BEEN DOING TO OUR COMMUNTY FOR ALL THESE YEARS. PLUS NOT TO MENTION YOUR RUN IN WITH THE LAW AND THE UNDER AGED BOY!

Volts and idle were low....gave me a new alternator and battery for no reason. Same problem still occurs. Knowing I would be moving across the country, it seems like they just wanted to get money from me. Please do not trust these fellas as they do not know the difference between an alternator and idle control valve
