I needed an unusual size of glass, 36x2x1/4 1 piece only and it was ready the next day. The cuts were perfect for my project. I had also told them I had broken a piece and that was what I was replacing. They provided what I asked for and gave me a few spares just in case!

If you are looking for someone to be extremely rude and completely unprofessional, question your integrity, perform only part of the job, leave you with damage and grime, and not show up at agreed upon times, then not be able to have a civil conversation with the owner, then Glass Guru is for you. Never in my 50 plus years have I been spoken to as disrespectfully as I was by the owner Scott. Last month I bought a 4 year old house that had a double pane window unsealed and fogged and needed a professional - that is not what we received. The former owners hired Glass Guru to do the work in early November. While I was told a new window would be installed, I received the old window with lots of silicone caulk sloppily all over the window. On top of that, there were gaps and knicks in the wood, parts inside missing exposing aluminum, vinyl dividers on the outside of the glass where there were wooden dividers before, spacers in between the glass missing, and grimy hand prints and missing paint on the wood frame. The last straw was that the window would no longer open easily or stay open. The installer said it was missing the clips. Then he handed me the bill for the balance. When I went to call to see about a follow up appointment, the technician left without speaking. I was put in touch with Scott who told me I was just being picky, asked me how did I know the windows opened before (see before pic of window open in late October), and that he never wanted to do this job. I was in shock at the way he was speaking to me so I told him I needed to hand the phone over. He then said, oh no you wont and hung up on me! My boyfriend then called him back calmly trying to rectify the situation but let him know that he was completely inappropriate. They did follow up and replaced the clips and recaulked it to look a little better but it is still not nearly in the condition it was before. Mistakes happen and people are busy, but there is never a reason to treat customers so poorly, call them names and hang up on them. Any recommendations for a glass company to complete this job?

From start to finish, our experience with this Glass Guru was phenomenal! Punctual, efficient, courteous, and priced very fairly, they did a perfect job replacing our shattered french door & cracked window. We will always call them for our future glass needs, and would give them 10 stars if it were an option.

Excellent service from beginning to end! The entire staff is professional and courteous. We had 6 windows replaced, and they did a beautiful job. I would highly recommend their service and will use them again.

Company sent someone out for a quote for replacement of glass in early March. We received the quote on the spot and placed the order in March 23rd and paid for half of the cost. They said it would take 2 or so weeks for the glass to come in. A month later we still hadn’t heard from the company. I called and they said the glass was in and scheduled an installation date. Morning of installation date they called to reschedule. We rescheduled for later that week. It was raining on the new date, so we rescheduled again. Final installation date arrived and no one showed up. I called and asked for an explanation, the secretary said she would call me right back. She did not return my call, so I called her back and asked for a refund. Never did they provide an explanation for failing to show up to install the glass. I am now waiting for my refund. Extremely poor customer service—incredibly unreliable. If I hadn’t contacted them, I’m sure I’d never see glass or my money again.

Someone came out on March 16th. Took measurements to make window screens. Told me I would get an email with estimate the same day or the next. Called on Friday, the 19th, to see about estimate. She said he would get back with me. Called on Tues, 23rd, to see about estimate. She said, she or he, would get back to me shortly. Two weeks later. Im still waiting. Poor Communication. Update-----They called me back. Recommended I call another company. They dont do just screens. Why did they come out to measure and tell me I would get a quote, and make me wait 2 weeks to get response. If they had just told me upfront, I could have saved both of us a lot of time.

They installed laminated glass in my downtown condo which has helped drastically with noise reduction!! Professional staff, showed up when they said they would be there, cleaned up after themselves, very pleased with their service and the end result- less street noise!!

Starting with the phone call to seek information on a dog door Becky took the time to answer questions, set up an appointment and follow up. Scott came out and again answered all my questions, taking the time to meet my dog who would be using the door! The installers did an excellent job and provided great customer service. I had a very difficult glass installation for Glass Guru. It is an A-Frame with an all glass front in 12 sections (see photo). Though difficult, Glass Guru .gave me an excellent price that soundly beat the competition! They were most efficient and skilled in getting those 300#-plus pieces to a height to nearly 18 ft above the deck placement. I was so please with the promptness and care with which they worked. Would highly recommend them if asked.

We used Glass Guru to replace glass in multiple windows at our house that had failed. Scott was very easy to work with and was always on time. His workers did a great job and kept a clean job site. Great job installing my pet door in a double paned tempered glass door. No way I could have cut the material myself. James, the installer did a fantastic work and showed up exactly on time. I had a bathroom window that cracked on the inside of one split pane window. Three companies did not know how to repair it. I was told I would need to replace the entire window pane. I called Glass Guru, they came out within 1-2 days, gave me an estimate and knew exactly how to repair and replace just the one glass. This saved me a lot of money. They are very professional, polite and affordable. I highly recommend them !

These people are the best in Chattanooga. I called every single glass place around and they not only had the best prices by FAR but also great customer service.I was finally able to finish my chameleon cage thanks to them and it wouldn’t look half as nice without those beautiful glass doors to view it through.

Asked to replace cracked window glasses.But the tech was very unprofessional. fractured window frames and smashed seams all over to remove the glass. The owner, Scott came over but didnt say anything to me(I was in the house)I didnt know what happened until everyone left & saw myself. Got very disappointed with Scott not telling me right there what happened and saying sorry. Very dishonest & sneaky to handle their own mistakes. ( he said he called but didnt answer. What an excuse! I was in my room!) He called me after he left) Even worse, he got very upset when I asked him for back up warranty if his own idea of fixing it fails. His idea was to simply remove the entire damaged window (double hung wooden window with retention strings & springs), use recycled wood frame pieces to fix. But he had no idea he couldnt cut the strings. The spring parts not in market anymore. I already consulted window experts everything about these windows. Since I knew I could not trust this guy plus high chance of ending up buying new windows at least for the 2 rooms involved, I showed him the estimates before he attempted his own idea of fixing.So, he could come up with better idea.However,He said I m being very difficult, harrassing & bulling. & Worse, he said when did you come to the states? Gee, I ve been living here for >30yrs. I could sue him for racism. How incredible his business manner is! HE NEVER SAID SORRY WE BROKE YOUR WINDOWS!! I m more upset with his dishonest & not saying sorry at all than the damage. Well, I have to spend over $2000 to buy new windows thanks to what he had done to my property. But, if he ever said sorry for what happened sincerely, I could ve just say alright.NEVER USE THIS BUSSINESS!
