This has been one of my worst experiences with anyone. Everything was through their automated system where I could get the information I was looking for without making a scheduled appointment. Felt like I got forced into a bill. Three weeks and still counting just to get my part that should have been in a couple days. Could have bought a new machine for about the same that they want to charge. DONT DO IT. This service sucks.

Websites need to be taken down, there is No sears repair shop in Chattanooga, TN. I spent almost an hour on the phone calling 4 or 5 different #s, customer service people kept giving phone numbers that were another # for sears home repair, COMPLETELY USELESS!!!

I chose to call Sears because we had a great experience a few years ago with an oven repair. Todays experience did not live up to that. If I ever have a need for a repair again, I will not use Sears unless I can be assured I wont get this technician again.My technician could not get his card reader to work. I asked if he could type the numbers in manually. He said no, and asked if I had a check. I preferred to pay with a credit card. He rebooted his phone and then huffed and puffed about having to reload the service call. Once that was done he asked me again if I decided to use a check. I again, said I would prefer to use a credit card. He again sighed and said he would step outside to make a call. He came back in and said the card reader is broken. He did not offer to let me call an office to make a payment by phone or be billed. I was given no option but to write a check. My bill was $453. I preferred to use my card so payment could be made when I can comfortably make it. He also never tested my dryer after the repair and left it outside of my laundry room. I gave 2 stars because he did fix it. But i had to set it back up myself and test it myself after he left. I did not appreciate the huffing and puffing nor being offered another way to submit my card payment due to his faulty equipment.

Had to order part for my oven, they ordered part to a wrong address. Re-ordered part, part now backordered so I cancelled service. Ordeal has been going on 1 month, over Christmas. I cancelled service as I found another company. Now it is NIGHTMARE getting refund and I paid by check bc the technician told me check was easier. I have had multiple live chats and get the same response that my problem has been escalated to some other internal department but there is no phone number or real live person. I shall wait another week to see if anyone contacts me but I shall NEVER use the company again for service! Buyer beware, they take your money and done give it back!!UPDATE - FEB 15. STILL NO REFUND, I have been given the run around by everyone there. NO ONE apparently has access to the billing dept. Even returned parts that were sent after I cancelled appt and the parts return dept cant help. IT IS CRAZY how a business can keep your money and not give it back.

We paid a lot for this Kenmore Elite refrigerator/freezer. Luckily we bought the 5 year warranty. Weve had this product for only three years and this year, of all years, it quit working. We have had two repair men out to fix it and it still doesnt work. We have a third call in to Sears to see if they can fix this time. (Confidence is low) This series of the inability to fix this product has tried our patience and made us very frustrated with Sears. We have lost food due to spoilage and need to be reimbursed for this loss; but have not been able to get through due to the many calls that they are experiencing. We are not pleased.

Very large selection of scratch and dent appliances. This is a great place to get a great deal. Sometimes you can get an appliance where the damage is in the back and not even visible. Great for getting an extra refrigerator for the garage. I purchased a lawn tractor here a few years ago and saved a good bit too

Scheduled an appointment on Thursday, June 4, 2020 with an ETA between 8 AM - 5 PM on Saturday, June 6 for service. Woke up early on Saturday morning to wait for them. Received a text on Saturday morning that the technician would be there between 2:30 - 3 PM. The technician never showed up, never called, never texted, after I waited at home all Saturday afternoon. I checked their website and my appointment is now showing for Monday, 6/15, 8 AM - 5 PM and still no one has called, texted, or emailed me to explain. I wasted my entire Saturday afternoon and they could not even bother to contact me and pushed me out over a week. This is terrible, terrible customer service.

I had a very pleasant experience with Sears coming to fix my Kenmore oven. When I called they fit me in their schedule right away. Kelvin our repair technician was very prompt in our scheduled time frame. Our time frame was between 1 pm - 5 pm, and he was here at 1:05 pm. He was very pleasant, and knowledgeable in his work. He did have to come back, but its only because the part we needed wasnt available. Kelvin was very prompt the second time around also. Kelvin fixed my oven, and we were able to cook again. Kelvin also went above & beyond and found me a discount online for Sears home repair. I would highly recommend Sears appliance repair to others in need. I will definitely ask for Kelvin in my future needs. Thank You Sears & of course my Special Thanks to Kelvin.

Do not recommend! Our home warranty sent “Sears” our which was “A&E” the first visit und order to fix our dishwasher. After 2 weeks the part came in & dishwasher was fixed and worked flawlessly since. I have a $75 deductible from my warranty group that I pay to them directly for any repairs. Sears sent me a bill for $75 on behalf of the home warranty group. I called the warranty group & they told us to ignore it since I paid them directly. Sears sent my bill 3 months later to a debt claims service. After sending receipt after receipt to the debt service, they closed the claim out. Literally the next day I got a call from another debt claim group on behalf of A&E (3rd party contractor of Sears) for $75 on behalf of the same claim. To make a long story short this reached the admin of my Home warranty Group (first American home warranty) and a formal complaint was filed against Sears. My dishwasher is fixed, but their games are ridiculous. I had a copy of my original receipts & emailed them to Sears and they refused to accept them. Absolutely no costumer service & will continually give you different numbers to call for disputes. I started writing them all down & theres 6 Sears billing numbers & 2 A&E numbers.

Worst experience. Technician came to repair our microwave. He ordered part and then didnt come. They didnt bother to inform me or my insurance company that this part is not available and we are not going to complete service. They uninstalled microwave and put it on the floor but never came to put it back. Also sending me unnecessary invoice of $75 which I already paid to my insurance company and I did confirm with technician when he arrived. Very irresponsible. Would not recommend.

I felt the repairman wanted to get out of my home ASAP. He quickly looked at the washer and said it would be about $500 to repair and it is only 2.5 years old. I asked him to show me how to remove the front panel of my dyer so I could clean it and his response was, I would rather not. I would have to make up a new ticket for that. After I paid my $79 for nothing, he said he was headed home and hoped he did not fall asleep. I really feel that I should get a second opinion and his diagnosis.

The technicians did a good job however scheduling was atrocious. Scheduled was changed 3 times after the parts came in. One Schedule changed the same day and I was notified by email. I had expected them to be here between 1 and 5 the email changed the time to 6 to 8. I understand and accept that the tech sometimes have unexpected delays. Informing me of the change by email assumes that I check email regularly . Of course the tech did not show . After 8, I was going to call when i noticed the emails. I was informed that they would be here 2 days later @ 8 to 12 however they assumed that whatever time they gave me was okay with me. I was able to readjust my schedule and the job was completed.

The serviceman came and repaired our dryer in a satisfactory manner. TWO days later the dryer resumed not drying our clothes. The tumbler worked fine but there was no heat to dry. The same problem we had before. This AM I called their customer satisfaction line and talked to someone in either SE Asia or India. I could not understand her and she could not understand me. After many minutes, we finally came to an agreement for a serviceman to return on Monday, 11/6 between 8-5--the second time someone will have to change their plans for an entire day so they can wait on Sears. I just hope they dont try to charge me the same amount they did last week to fix what they should have fixed right the first time. I hope someone with Sears will call me and try to make it right. And please speak English as a first language!

I bought a new refrigerator that broke. I had to wait between one and two weeks between each of 4 appointments to get it fixed - it took a month and a half, solely because Sears schedules 2 weeks out at times. When you buy an appliance from Sears, you need to have it repaired through them as long as its under warranty and for that reason, I will never buy an appliance from Sears again. The services levels are absolutely appalling - although the repair people, once they come, are extremely nice and competent.

Service provider was excellent and he had the necessary part on the truck. The only bad part was the wait time. After waiting for about 2 weeks initially, the visit on the scheduled day was cancelled after we waited all through the late afternoon. Was rescheduled and had to wait another week.

Sears cannot give an estimate or answer basic questions regarding their ability to repair a specific issue. They can however send a technician out for a fee of $89 who will then give a quote or answer and questions. Very disappointing.

Waited around for an entire afternoon, technician never showed up, not a single call or text. I had to call the customer service line, was told he was on his way. An hour later, still no one showed. Called again and was told he was still working another job, so apparently the first rep lied to my face. Cancelled my appointment. Never again.

Initially the repair went fine. The tech resolved and fixed the issue. However, later that afternoon, I noticed that the control panel felt strange and within two loads of laundry, the power button broke. When I called, repeatedly, I encountered service people who could not speak English well, would not listen to my complaint and could or would not schedule this as a follow up to a previous call. In fact, the first time, they scheduled a dishwasher follow up. I have had to take another morning off work to deal with this and am not confident I will not be billed for something that the technician is responsible for.

The repair to my dishwasher went smoothly and the tech was friendly and fast. The Sears process is very inefficient, however. I knew what part was needed and tried to give the call center the model number and part description over the phone, but they werent interested. Instead, the tech came to my house one week after the call, did the troubleshooting, and had to drive back to the warehouse to get the part I already knew needed replacing.

It would be 5 star but had to wait 5 days for the repair from my call. The parts were delivered in 2 days from my call. The service person was professional and courteous. He worked quickly and repaired the appliance with the parts that were delivered.This worked out really well for us. Before we had to wait 1st for the service appt. and then for the parts to arrive, and then for another service appt. so this is an improvement!

The service person did an excellent job at repairing my husbands lawn mower. The process for requesting a service time was a total failure. We were told by Sears that the repairman would be at our house between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. on the day scheduled for repair. The repair request had been scheduled two weeks in advance. We were told that on that day we could call a number and get a window of time for the repair. We called and the time given was 11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. My husband cancelled two appointments that morning so he could be available from 8:00 until 5:00 and then from 11:30 until 1:30. At 1:45 p.m. we called again and actually talked to the service person himself who said he had several other service appointments to go and that he would be here at 3:30 p.m. He said the office did not know how long it took him to do service and that they should have never given us a window of time but they did that all of the time. He showed up at 2:15 p.m. probably because my husband told him how unhappy he was to have waited all day with no consideration of his time. The repair man was very nice and did excellent work. Sears, on the other hand, was inefficient and the process was the worst we have ever experienced.

This is the second service repair weve had to schedule to fix the ice maker in our refrigerator, that we bought 6 months ago. They did fix the original issue of not having ice, but the repair man created another issue. Now the motor on the ice dispenser doesnt work. The guy was very socially awkward, said nothing at all! Had to ask him twice how he was doing to get a response out of him. No explanation of what was wrong no receipt, no work ticket, absolutely no proof the guy was even here. And to top it off he didnt close the work order, so now that Im calling sears back to resolve the issue Im being told I have to wait until Monday so they can contact the repair man himself to close the work order out so they can open another! What crap service this is! It took almost three weeks to get him out here to start with. Next appliance I buy will not be from sears.

I have now waited 7 days on a service call on my washer. The serviceman showed up an hour early, sent me a robo call, I was home in 8 minutes and they were gone. If he had picked up the phone I could have let him know I was right around the corner. On top of that, when I tried to reschedule, the first date they gave me was 8 days away. I have 5 appliances from Sears all under extended and expensive warranties. I will NEVER buy another appliance from Sears.This is no reflection on their service technicians, they have always been great.

After 5-6 visits and 2 years, I finally have a dryer that works without the door popping open (knock on wood!). The glue job for the gasket looks pretty messy but it works so far. Not all the sound proofing foam was ordered for the repair, but I happened to have some that worked. Thankfully I had a bunch of extra parts from all the attempts for repair. The hinges were all bent, so we put back on the original ones. What a nitemare! Thank goodness for warranties!

It took 3 visits, 1 new part and 1returned-for-repair part to finally fix the microwave. The fix lasted until 6/19. Now, the microwave is showing the same F9 code it showed before this repair. Obviously, its not fixed!

I really dont think you want to hear my review, because if this service call was the only one in which I had to go on I would give you the lowest rating ever. However because you asked for it...here it goes.The service technician came (before his scheduled appointment hours) when I was not home so I never got to see nor speak with him directly about the problem. When I arrived home to find he had been here I called his number to get more information because what he stated the problem was,really wasnt the problem. (The reason I know this is because we had already tried his suggestion prior to even calling for service) I got his voice mail and left my phone number for him to call me back. I also called the service center to tell them what happened and they said they would have him call me too. It has been a week later and I still have not received any phone call from the tech or the center and I still have the same problem that I had originally called about.Not a satisfied customer!!!

09.02.16 the tech was called to this site to change the door gasket due to ice etc. inside the freezer every time the door was opened and the original gasket was full of mold. dude arrived, opened the freezer door said it looked ok changed the temp to #4 and left.
