All I can say... its good to be back with live music in Charlottesville.

Got to watch the E&J band live with the Everything Groove crew! Its very spacious and a great family vibe. My 4 year old cousin had a blast! For that alone the Pavilion gets 5 stars.But psst try to come down on your beer prices a bit guys. $7 for a bottle of Bud Light? Sheesh.

Cant say enough good things about my experience here: easily walkable location; not a bad seat in the house; ability to order drinks from an app and pick up without waiting in line; outdoor but huge pavilion over the stage and seats. Would travel far to see shows here.

Awesome little venue in the middle of Charlottesville! Saw govt mule on 7/10/19. Very well run venue everything was clean and staff were outstanding. Venue has a visually appealing tent like structure covering the seating area. Acoustics were great. Would definitely come back to this venue again. Definitely a five-star venue in my opinion.

It was a nice first outing after being in for so long. I thought the music would have been a little louder and clearer since we were under the pavilion

The only amazing place in this downtown mall especially when they have the concert.

Great multipurpose venue in the heart of downtown Charlottesville. Weekly live music and food during the summer months. Recent host to the Cured Fest in July 2018, featuring all things porcine.

So glad to have live music back at the pavilion!

TING Pavilion was AWESOME @ this time of Night, because it was completely EMPTY except for me & my Fiancee & 2 Guys both playing/beating on Sets of Drums that sounded so Serene, Peaceful, them jamming their Drums & the Sound jamming my Body, Mind, Spirit & Soul 💙❤️💜💞🎁🥳

Nice covered open air stage for bands and community events. On Fridays there are free bands to listen to. A lot of chairs, some tables and very family friendly. It would be good to offer some healthy options rather than only beer.

Odesza live! It is next to UVA so theres always college kids there.. Alot of alcohol and plenty of entertainment

Super fun for Fridays after five!!! A place to go with kids and families and friends. Or is lots to drink the music is great and you can also bring a picnic blanket or play in the grass. we come here almost every Friday schedule permitting and when the weather is good it is really a blast. Parking is a little bit tricky. Food trucks music and steam is worth it

It is always pleasant watching shows here. Even more entertaining watching the VIP Nazis stop people from walking back down to lower seats. Honestly with out the general paying fans there would be no VIP seating

In nice weather, sitting in your low rise chairs on the grass, listening to great music, eating from the food trucks and enjoying an adult beverage is worth the drive into town.

Really nice to have this venue in Charlottesville, look forward to events resuming post COVID.

Love this venue! Its so intimate! Theres no bad seat in the house. The sound travels beautifully and its a fun place go be. I would definitely see a show here again if I get the chance.

FANTASTIC venue to see any type of music. The sound system is outstanding. The lighting rig is top notch. With the Pavilion at the end of the Main Street Mall, and all its restaurants, this is the perfect date night.

Great outdoor venue. Been to several shows here and always a good time. Food and drink vendors decently priced and you can usually choose to dance in the pit, sit in a chair, or lawn it with a blanket.

Great venue. Played at the Illumination. Everyone I had contact with, regarding the event, were fantastic. Top notch people, top notch facility.

This is such a fun place to see a concert. A must in the summer? Fridays after Five. And a nice place to eat your lunch during the week. Fun place to people watch!

Smaller venue that nevertheless attracts national acts. Easy to find, easy to park, easy to get in and out. Nice grassy seating area in the back. Good sound quality and stage visibility.

Free music is usually good. Fun place for families. It needs big air fans for bands and crowd on these very hot days.

Charlottesvilles community outdoor concert venue. There are usually seats near the stage (reserved, for some shows), plus space on the lawn.Most of it is under a big acoustical tent, which was replaced in April of 2019, and sounds great.Shows range from national touring acts to free shows from local artists every Friday in the summer.

Great venue saw great local bands. The overall area with food trucks and beer trucks to accommodate your thrist. Well have to make it there again. Many concerts on Fridays and Saturdays with various local and national artist performing.

Outstanding array of food and alcohol vendors. There is a large standing area directly in front of stage, but due to the highly sloped floor or doesnt block the view from the seating area, which is all interlocked folding chairs. The slope gives each row of seats a good view add well. Sound quality suffers a bit for quieter, atmospheric bands since it is a pavilion. There is ample paid parking nearby in various garages, but you can get your parking validated I on of the many stores

Small venue but great live music. Sound quality was nice and stage was visible from every seat. Parking space was nice and easy to find out.

Saw Trey Anastasio Trio. Very friendly staff and clean comfortable atmosphere. Easy abundant and free parking available on street. Re-entry a permitted at this show, very unusual and very nice, unsure if thats typical for this venue. Pleasant brick walkway with upscale shops and restaurants leading to entrance.

I love this outdoor venue and everything about it. Great music and great little set up in the heart of downtown Charlottesville.

Fun spot for a venue. They redid the roof and it’s really nice now. Been here for the wine festival and concert and it’s always a blast!

This is a great venue in downtown. I came three times to listen to great national bands. There is friendly security staff around. They ID for alcohol. I do not like the selection of food trucks so I prefer to eat before coming to the show. The parking lot is a challenge though.

Fridays after Five free summer concerts are great. $6 per drink ticket, and plenty of food truck options. Kid friendly. Secondhand smoke can be an issue if you sit on the lawn too close to the surrounding brick sidewalks.

Great venue. It was beautiful with an excellent view of the stage from the grass. Also, the employees of the venue went above and beyond when they found my purse and tracked me down at my hotel even though my name and number were not in the purse!

Visited the Sprint Pavilion to see Willie Nelson live in concert. The venue was well organized, restrooms easy to find and vendors were easy to get to. I thought the venue was going to be larger than it was, but overall, the acoustics of the place were good as was the sound system. Sat in the center of the middle section and seeing the stage was not a problem from any seat there. If you go here to see a show, be sure to get Pavilion seats for the best views.

Great place for concerts (Fridays after Five free concerts, and various paid gigs), as well as frequent festivals and events. Nice place to hang out and have lunch if theres nothing else going on.

I love this amphitheater. Its super easy to navigate and pretty spacious.

The Pavillion is an awesome, local mid-size venue that attracts some excellent acts. Its amazing how that end of the Downtown Mall is transformed whenever theres an event. On any regular day, its just a wide open place to sit in the shade (on the stage, if you want). Nobodys there to run you off : )

Cant wait to see Chronic Royale , Ruckus da Bulldog , Strictly Business and more local bands there.

You definitely want to check this venue out!! Great family atmosphere and everything they do in hosting events is to make sure every level of the event, from staff to the hosted party has the best time possible there!

Ticketing for alcohol, which means you have to line up twice and guess the amount you might drink. Mediocre drink selection and they ran out of some before the show even started - which you dont know until after youve bought a ticket. Decent sound with good sight lines.

Phenomenal venue for Downtown CVille events.

The band suck this year. Beautiful night Charlottesville, and no one was there. Corin has to get off those bucks and spend some money for some good bands.

This venue is amazing! The only negative thing of note is how uncomfortable the seats are! Terrible. The way the seats are numbered could be better too. Print the numbers bigger on the labels.

Located at the end of Charlottesvilles historic mall, there are plenty of restaurants nearby and parking facilities. The amphitheater isnt very big, so there arent many bad seats...if any. While most seats are under cover, there is a small lawn area that is open to the elements; keep in mind potential bad weather when purchasing those seats.

Small place but really Beautiful. Sound quality was amazing and the place was really nice. Parking was good and definitely a nice place.

I saw Portugal. The Man here and the acoustics were absolutely perfect, even all the way in the back! Plus, its close to City Hall, so theres plenty to see just outside the venue.

Went to a wine festival on a Saturday afternoon. Nice venue. Good size for all of the participating wineries.

I was very disappointed with my experience here. My husband and I spent a nice amount of money because on the map we were supposed to have seats closer to the stage (I even clicked on the spot that we wanted which had the dollar amount on it) . When we got there I asked one of the people who were working the event (Chris Stapleton concert) and their exact words were VIP tickets get general admission seats. If that is the case then I could of saved $250.00 and sat in the same seat that we did last night! Crooks is the nicest term I can use. Unfortunately, this happened to several people around us!!!!!!! Disgusted to say the least.

I saw Daughtry in concert here last July. What a great experience! Its a small venue and I felt like I was in my living room watching him. I live near D.C. and it was worth the 90 min drive to go here. Ill come back for another concert.

My wife and I came here to see Sara Bareilles in July of 2014. We were not prepared for the wonderful experience we had. It is a small, 3,500 seat theater, and its lawn seating is smaller than the actual seating bowl. The acoustics were very good. We were thrilled with the food and drink options. Beers were $6 (were from Baltimore, so thats a steal) and food trucks provided the snacks (more venues should do that!). Overall, if an artist you like is playing here, get tickets!
