Fixed my phone screen the same day

I really was impressed with the service. The staff were all pleasant and helpful. The service was outstanding. I was told my phone would be ready for pick up between 30 and 45 minutes and was done in less than 30 minutes. Good job guys.

I worked with Suzanna at Batteries + Bulbs to have the battery replaced in my iPhone 6. She was knowledgeable and very professional. She took the time to check all the features on the iPhone to ensure everything was working properly. She said she would need about an hour and my phone would be ready. When I returned, Tyler had my phone and explained the charging process I would need to do for the next three times in order to ensure the life of the new battery. Reminder!!! The Apple store is over an hour from here! My choices to replace my screen, which had some bad pixels, was Best Buy, Simply Mac, and here! The others, who have shaky reputations, wanted Apple prices to do the same repair. I’m sure I will upgrade to the next iPhone 11, so I took a chance on Batteries Plus, and they did what appears to be an excellent replacement for about $70 cheaper than Best Buy or Simply Mac! 👍

Suzann at Batteries Plus was terrific! She was compassionate and knowledgeable--a great combination. As a non-techie I am frequently made to feel less than. Suzann gave me just the opposite experience. She listened to my particular needs, answered my questions and repaired my iPhone in a timely manner. For reasons I wont go in to, I had boycotted this store for five years; I only went there under great duress. Thanks to Suzann, boycott is over and I have a new go to spot in town. Nice experience all around.

These folks get a 5 all around! In the store a day or so before, I asked about phone battery replacement. They told me about how long it would take, about how much it would cost and that if I wanted to make an appointment on line, it would save me $. Making the appointment was easy. The repair was done within the time frame stated and they were great to take time to answer a few questions about the battery before I left. Highly recommend them.

They replaced my daughters cell phone battery and it works great now. They told me an hour, but we returned a little early and it was ready. Have also had iPhone screen repaired which has held up well! Great job!

I was in Battery Plus today 2/24/19 and the service was great! I came in to replace my iphone battery and the staff explained the whole procedure and didn’t pressure me into doing something I didn’t want to do. I recommend this store to anyone

I was please with the prompt service. The screen on my phone shattered when I dropped it in a parking lot. They were able to fix it within an hour and also updated my battery (at a discounted price). When I tried to get my battery updated at Simply Mac in Charlottesville, it would have taken days. They actually told me to come back in a few months! There rating was also not very good.

I could not be happier. My S8 and my sons S8 (both just over a yr old) died within a month of each other. My sons first so we bought a new Note 9. When mine quit a month later my eyebrows were raised at the coincidence. I purchased a new S9 but then went on a search to fix my S8s. Batteries Plus replaced batteries in both S8s for about $120. Which meant I could return the $800 S9 I had bought as well as likely sell his S8 for ~$200. Saving me overall around $900. I could not be happier.

My 5 year old iPhone battery died yesterday. I took it in this afternoon and have just picked up the phone.Service was great. I was attended to immediately. The phone so far is working fine. But will see how it goes over the next few days. The battery is under warranty for a year.

Iphone battery quit - They were able to replace immediately (in less than an hour) vs. waiting for months for Apple. Price was reasonable and I now have a working phone.

Called about replacing Nexus 6P battery. Got a quote for $69. They ordered battery. They called me. I missed the call but called them back, told them I thought my battery had arrived, gave them my name, and they said bring it in. I brought it in. The tech then informed me that they are not set up to repair Nexus 6P phones. He was very polite and clearly felt bad that they had screwed up. I asked about buying the battery. They go for about $10 online. He said hed have to charge me $69 for it, due to company policy. It was an honest mistake certainly by the person who gave me a quote, and they guys in the store were, again, both polite and remorseful. But still, it cost me a week delay in getting the phone fixed and an hour of my time. For this, they get a rare low score of 2/5. Their price was good. If they could do the work, Id still have them do it.

More than a Battery Store. I’ve used this store a half dozen times in the past 3 years. The usual AA and 9 volt battery purchases, the Auto Key Fob replacement, and 2 outstanding flashlights.—- So when my Wife’s iPad Pro battery slowly died— there was no question who we would go to for a solution—. Dropped it off— and a couple days later— Battery changed out and back in action.— It’s not enough to say this is a Battery store— the entire staff is professional, helpful, “Can-do” in attitude and they get it done. — Thanks!!

Took my iPhone there to replace the screen that got smashed. The guy who waited on me told me it would be done at 4:15 - 2 hours from when I took it in. I returned at 4:30. When another clerk found my phone we discovered it was never taken to the back to actually be fixed. The guy who waited on me was there and looked completely clueless. The other clerk told me that they can have it ready in an hour and take $10 off. That was unacceptable to me after already waiting 2 hours. I took my phone and my business to Mr Fix on the downtown mall. For the exact same price ($119) they got it done in 20 minutes and the guy’s work was flawless! If Fix It Phone Repair’s tech service is anything like their customer service, I would say I might the right choice in taking my phone to Mr. Fix instead.

Always courtious and fast. I had a phone battery changed. Take all vehicle fobs for battery changes. I recommend them.

Have been waiting for a battery from Apple for over 8 weeks. Local Apple store out of stock due to high demand, so they informed me. I received a work order receipt, info in their computer. Still not in stock.Desperate, I searched for iPhone batteries and found our local Batteries Plus. Was able to make an appt same day and in 30 minutes it’s installed and working great! My phone was smashed and they replaced the screen for me. It looks great, but for $130 the screen is less responsive than the original which is REALLY frustrating. I think that might just be the cost of not having the original screen. :(The repair guys were super nice though, and very fast.

I had my battery replaced on a iphone 6S. My son gave the 6S to me when he upgraded because the lack of battery life frustrated him. We werent sure if it was a faulty phone or just the battery. More than 24 hours later and the phone still has 54% after normal use. So before ditching an old iphone try replacing the battery. $60 ( with coupon) my phone is good as new! The customer service was great. I was in and out in about 30 minutes.

Phone screen on iphone 8 was fixed, but coloration was off, unlike original screen. great speed of fix, but was not told color would be altered.

I took my iPhone 7 here for a cracked screen. The repair was done quickly and at a price comparable to what was advertised elsewhere in town. However, the repair involves replacing the screen entirely (not just the glass), and the replacement part is nowhere near as nice as the original. The screen has a noticeably lower resolution and the colors are muted. Maybe this is exactly what other smartphone repair shops do as well, but, if you get a repair here, don’t expect to get back an iPhone with a display that looks as good as it did before.

I had gone to 4 stores trying to find a battery for my cell. iPhone...Finally, at Batteries and Bulbs they gave me a battery immediately! Great staff too!

They never called to inform me my phone was finished, which isn’t a big deal since I showed up 2 hours later as instructed and it was done, but still would have been nice. Then later in the day I noticed that my front camera wasn’t working but it was beforehand. When I called then told me that they must have forgotten to hook that back up and to bring it in tomorrow and they could fix it BUT it will take another 2 hours.

I had an issue with my iPad and brought it in. I had brought it in previously and had the battery replaced but this time it was turning off and restarting when I plugged it in. I thought the issue was due to a battery cable having coming undone. I dropped off the iPad and came back a couple of days later due to work but when I came back I noticed that there were air bubbles under the screen when the screen was reapplied during the repair process so I had them correct the issue but I had to burn an hour while it was being repaired which is why the four stars. Other than that the service was amazing as the first time, this hiccup will NOT prevent me from coming back as I will come back should an issue occur and I do recommend this store for any and all repairs on Apple products as the closest Apple store is in Richmond and the repairs are more costly. So by all means if you need your Apple product repaired GO HERE.

In the end, my iPad’s battery was replaced and is in working order. I dropped it off on 11/14/18. The iPad’s battery replacement is a difficult task as it was explained to me by their employee. I expected to pick my iPad up by day’s end, however, I was called and it was explained to me that the volume flex cable had been damaged during the replacement and that it would take a couple of days to have a new one delivered and installed. I called again four days later on 11/18/18 and the store manager, Alfred, told me that his lead technician would arrive back from vacation on Tuesday (11/20/19) and he would be the one fixing it and told me that I should expect it back by the end of the day. I know that it was two days before Thanksgiving, however, I never received a call that the broken volume flex cable had been replaced and that my iPad was ready for pickup. So, on 11/23/18, the day after Thanksgiving, I called again, and Alfred, the store manager, explained that there had been a miscommunication between the technicians and that he had resolved the issue and that my iPad would be available for pickup. Alfred left a message for pickup on the same day. Upon arrival, I informed the employees that I was here for my iPad. The same employee, who had originally accepted my iPad, went through a doorway behind the costumer service desk that led to back of the store and eventually he came out of another doorway to the left of the showroom and immediately retrieved my iPad from the service area, which is on that same side of the store. I’m not sure if he informed Alfred of my arrival. They seemed to have been coached about my arrival. There was a major screw up! I did not want to appear aggressive nor confrontational when I picked up my device. I did not need the stress. I had been stressed out enough with this experience.
