Im a little late in giving this place its proper accolades. In 2009 I was a guest here for almost 5 months.I couldnt give enough high praise or well versed words... Because there arent any.When one goes through ones own individual route of hell on earth, as each guest is facing.. this place shows that this Earth is a constant battleground between good and evil. Always shining brightly, offering a reminder that even while going through hell.. you can rest your head at a heavenly place thats peaceful . Blessings to all the staff. I will never forget yall.

This is an amazing place for people who have loved ones in Charlotte hospitals. Over 50 beds, but feels like a home. Great volunteers and staff make everyone feel welcome and comfortable. Gardens are lovely and peaceful.

Providing housing for families that are dealing with love ones in the hospital. This place is amazing and has been for many years. All of the staff members have a heart for the mission of this house and care about each and every guest that comes in. It shows! Pantry food is provided and a shuttle that takes you back and forth from the hospital!

A nice place to stay when needed before I moved to Charlotte when my Aunt was in the hospital. The house attendant was friendly, and kind. She always made sure we were comfortable. Thank you

So great they are!. Spent several days there as I was from SC and had to go to the CMC hospital fir many days both before and after my surgery. They are caring, and compassionate and always made me feel welcome. Wish I could do for them in some way to give back. Also wish there was a place like that near all hospitals. Cant say enough good things about them. Easy entrances, nice kitchen areas with free snacks available. Free use if laundry room,and kitchen. Comfortable rooms with the best duvet covers. Check out their Web site for information. Couldnt have afforded to stay elsewhere and they even helped with this when I was first dignosed.

These are some of the most compassionate people around. If you honestly cant afford to stay at a hotel, your loved one is in the hospital, esp if its for a few days and you live out of town, please contact them.

Had to stay here back in April of 2011. Im not sure I ever left a review. My mom had an aneurysm in Myrtle Beach, SC and we ended up at Charlotte Medical Center for her surgery. My family couldnt afford a hotel and we lived in Augusta, GA so it was too far to travel back and forth. The Hospitality House of Charlotte was a Godsend to us; we already had enough to worry about without the extra financial anxiety. My mom survived with only her short term memory slightly affected and well take it. Thank you!!!

This is a excellent place to stay. Tempurpedic beds very nice. Volunteers cook big meals for everyone a few times a week. Very clean.

This place is wonderful. God gave me this place of rest, during my wifes month long stay in the hospital after a brain aneurysm ruptured.

Definitely the ideal place to stay with family in the hospital. Security offers free rides to and from the hospital and there are often free meals provided.
