We have used Pool Xperia from the day we moved to Charlotte. Doug and his crew know pools and chemicals inside and out. There isn’t anything regarding a pool that Doug doesn’t know about. They never try to up sell anything you do not need. I buy all the chemicals here. It’s great to see a small business doing a great job and we try to give them as much business as we can.

Went there with a green pool a week or so ago and Andreas helped me a lot . He was very patient and knowledgeable in regards of how to bring my pool water to its normal color step by step . They test your water for free and print out a sheet explaining how to do everything. Our pool is now crystal clear and in time for Memorial day . Specialty pool is the very best pool company. They handle any size pool from installation to any maintance needed. Theyre top quality with reasonable prices. There are some things that you dont want to cut corners on and your pool is one of those They provide the best service yet are not overpriced. I just got a custom cover for mine and am very pleased with the quality and the price Needless to say that its their quality of service & responsiveness that puts them on top. They are very knowledgeable in the pool industry. My biggest issue is when it comes to buying there chemicals. I had a pool put in late last year and was given chemicals to get started. I brought my water to get tested and was questioned where I buy my products after a few tests. I explained how I had a lot of products to still be used then would purchase more. After a few water tests this seemed to be a trend, getting questioned about where I buy my stuff and had to explain my situation every time. Then I started noticing when they are testing your water the owner is looking you up on there system about all your purchases you made. My last visit I was questioned once again and made it pretty uncomfortable. Explaining how the tests cost them so much and they only support people that buy from them, which I totally understand. But dont keep asking when I explained my situation multiple times. I guess they wanted me to buy items to just sit around while Im still finishing up what I still have. Maybe just charge a fee to get a water test so you dont have to grill everyone about this? I saw it done with others as well. So if your looking to purchase items from them they will love you. When spring time comes to purchase all my pool products I guess Ill be bringing my business elsewhere.

Maytronics sent me to Pool Xperts is an authorized Maytronics repair center, I did not purchased my robot from them but Maytronics sent me to them to do a repair under warranty. Well, before I even said anything they asked if I purchased it from them, I said no, the guy told me that they can service it but will charge $50 to diagnose and labor, and will have to pay for parts until Maytronics reimburse them! I will get my money back. Maytronics clearly stated there should be no charge. Stay away from this place.

Great service =5. Parts way overpriced = 1. Brings my rating down from 4 to 3. Example a $10 part on Amazon is $23 in this store. Exact same part. When u need 6, basically a rip off. Get in ballpark on prices makes more sense.

My first experience with the shop was when they were sent out by Pentair to fix malfunctioning equipment on my pool. The technician was on time, polite, thorough in his work, and extremely competent.He did notice a few other issues, but instead of hard selling me on them he suggested when it would be best to tackle them and how.Since my first experience Ive been to the store several times. They have free water testing using a computer to get more accurate readings and the results are on a sheet with simple to follow directions in the order you need to complete them.In addition, Ive met the owner there a few times and he has always been courteous and polite and helpful.

Just got a pool. Checked out the other pool supply store down the road first and then went to Pool Xperts. This place blows away the completion. Very knowledgeable. Only sold me what I needed. The other place would have sold me 3 times as much stuff as I needed to get started. Pool Experts were very professional and Rob was great. Dont go any place else!

I recently moved into a home with a pool. It is both my husband and my first time owning a pool and we were a little intimidated. Pool Xperts has walked us through the entire pool owning process and helped us learn how to take care of the pool. They make it very simple and took the time to teach us about what needs to be done in order to maintain the pool in the most efficient way. Pool Xperts has even told me when I could find a product cheaper (although quality was less). I ended up buying their higher quality product but appreciated the honesty displayed when they said I could find it somewhere else. They are available any time for questions. Their friendly and professional service is second to none and I could not think more highly of them.
