I have owned and maintained my own pool for over 20 years. I have always stayed away from pool services. On the recommendation of one of my friends, I finally gave ASP a try. I will confess that I have enjoyed my pool more this year than ever before. It has been an absolutely worry free pool season this year with the cleanest water all summer. Michael is our guy and he has been reliable and amazing with the service he has provided. I hate that I procrastinated so long. Totally worth the cost and has made having a pool a true pleasure. I have been working with ASP for about 6 months. I have used their cleaning service as well as the general repairs and maintenance groups. I have also just engaged their remodel team to replace my coping stones. No matter what happens or how busy they are they treat their customers like they matter. Even if their response is they need a few weeks, they always return emails and phone calls. Rob & Co. were fantastic. They were upfront with everything out of the gate, very knowledgeable and patient when answering all our questions and concerns regarding our pool pump no longer working. They were able to install all brand new equipment that looks and sounds amazing. When we were realized the damage was greater than once believed, Rob was very kind in offering a free cleaning - minimizing the financial impact as much as possible. This place has terrible customer service. Called to see how much the green to clean service was. No one answered so I left a message. Waited 2 business days for a call back which I never got. Called them again. Finally Lynn answered and said she hasnt had a chance to check her voicemail and that they no longer offer the green to clean service. Update your website to to include which services you actually provide and return customer calls!!!!!!!!!!!

My wife and were using another pool service in the Charlotte area and the company literally just stop showing up. Reached out to some people and ASP came highly recommended. They were there the next week and the pool was spotless. Skylar is super knowledgeable and goes above and beyond, cleaning our dolphin and even the area around pool. Cannot say enough about these guys.

I needed to replace my sand and lateral assembly. I called few places but nobody got back to me except for ASP. Last year I bought a house with a pool I continue to use the same company that the previous owner had. I fired them after 11 months and hired a new company superior pools after babysitting superior pools techs for six weeks I fired them. ASP pool has been amazing!!!! I’ve even converted my pool over to salt water with them. Reliability, honesty and a fair price - it couldnt be better!We had a problem with our pool pump in August - during the greatest heat.After having to turn off the pump and having to wait for two days just for an answer from our former pool attendant, who then mentioned he was booked and wouldnt be able to come for at least a week - I decided to look for someone new and reliable, who will not leave me waiting when I am in need.I was looking for a pool company that had excellent reviews and called ASP right away.Rob was with us at the pool within an hour.He took care of everything, explained everything to us in detail and did a great job. He told us honestly that things we had estimated before were not necessary (changing sand in the sand filter) and corrected the prior estimated price.I have never experienced anybody being so honest and truthful and doing such a fantastic, high-quality job. Outstanding Service. I called yesterday with a request to get my pool liner pulled up and locked in. Rob Torres at ASP let me know he would be out the next day in the afternoon. He sent me a text when he was on his way. He got to work right away and completed the work right away.It really blew me away by contrast. Most vendors dont call back or dont show up. Ive had a terrible time getting a reliable service provider.He knocked out the work in short order. He also fixed some small things that needed addressing. He was professional, knowledgeable, and personable. The price was very, very fair. He also educated me regarding aspects of my pool (which is great because Im not a pool guy)...I will not hesitate to call ASP again. The service was outstanding. You hate the thought of experiencing problems with the functionality of your pool, add a very unstable current environment and it can magnify an issue 10x. I phoned ASP-Charlotte and in less than 12 hours I had a return phone call and a service call to rectify the situation in a more than reasonable timeframe. Wish I had found this company sooner! Finally a pool company that actually picks up the phone when you call them and does what they say they will do - AND follows up with the customer after. We use ASP for our weekly maintenance and Lynn is extremely responsive and helpful. We have also needed several repairs and Rob is again, extremely responsive and does a great job. Just this week, we had an issue with our equipment and before I even picked up the phone to call it in, Lynn and Rob had spoken and came out to my house to take care of it.

We had to replace our pool heater and filter recently and Rob made the process very easy! He is prompt and efficient—if I have any kind of question or concern Rob is always readily available! ASP also does all our weekly pool cleaning—always leaves the pool sparkling! I am very happy with Rob and ASP!

3 seasons using ASP and they still deliver the best service ever! I continue to get the best service with my weekly pool service and with any maintenance/additional work that I choose to have completed. Rob is very quick to respond to my requests and always follows thru with what he says he is going to do. Both Rob and Craig were out and completed a job that should have been a standard install. However, they ran into obstacles because of old equipment that had been installed prior to my using ASP. They spent the necessary time it took to do the job correctly even when they had expected to be at my pool for an hour. They take such pride in their work! They continue to impress!!

I have owned a pool for 9 years. During that time we have tried 3 other pool service companies, all whose quality and service was subpar. We were thrilled to find ASP, Will Stanley and our service technician, Derek, who have done a tremendous job with our pool. We changed from chlorine to salt and have experienced NONE of the problems we were having before. They are timely, professional and thorough. They diagnose problems quickly and efficiently. Their repair costs are reasonable and they back their work. I highly recommend ASP to anyone with a pool as the best pool service company in the Charlotte area.

We were in the process in purchasing a home with a pool and wanted to get an independent inspection done on the overall condition of the equipment and pool itself.Made an inspection appointment with ASP who said they would do a complete inspection.In summary, not only were they late to the appointment but no inspection was done on the pool itself. I would note that the pool salt system was not operational during that time since the pool water temperature was below 60 degrees. Nonetheless, the two “technicians” who came out spent more time on the phone with their boss to price out new upgrades on the equipment pieces without any real testing of the overall system. I along with my realtor strongly felt they camouflaged the inspection (which I paid for) as a selling opportunity rather than a quality inspection to gauge the condition of the current system.They did not take any time whatsoever to check the system, I cannot emphasize that enough. The pump was never activated, the pool vacuum was never even looked at, the salt cell was never inspected, there so no pressure test. The only thing they did was test the water chemistry which cost them pennies.Speaking of cost, they quoted me $150 over the phone however after the technicians hand wrote a price quote of the upgrades they recommended (again, sales opportunity), the total came out close to $190. I am not shy of these prices however felt jaded that I was over charged for ASP to come out and quote me new items.Fast forward, we had another inspection done on the pool with another company. They far surpassed my expectations. Not only were they professional but gave a honest approach and inspection of the current equipment without attempting to up-sell me on items that were functioning but considered aged.The second inspection tested all equipment, took the time to run all the items (pump, vacuum, timers, and chemistry). They not only gave an oral report but also a detailed email summary checklist of all items (models and brands) in an organized format. I had to proactively ask about the upgrading parts and they gave me a quote however unlike ASP, they did not use the paid inspection to sell me items.I am very disappointed and borderline cheated on spending money on NOTHING being done as expected on a pool inspection.

We had another company servicing our pool for years, and we see a huge improvement with the cleanliness of our pool and the servicing of the pump/filters since switching to American Swimming Pool Co. Always prompt, and April does a fantastic job...shes even sweet to our dogs! Highly recommend!

I had two men from ASP install pool heater and they are great. They did a wonderful job and are very professional. They left everything clean and neat. They answered our many questions with patience and understanding. I am very happy with the service and would recommend ASP to anyone who wants professional service.

I had been struggling for months with my pool builder and maintenance company, to get my brand new pool working properly. After another , finger pointing incident between the two on who adjusted the chlorinator wrong to cause it to implode and drain my pool, once again, I decided, I needed to fire them all and find and a new pool maintenance company. And I am so glad I did! I called ASP, explained, my situation to Lynn and in two hours, Lynn was at my house, reviewing the issues and immediately giving me confidence in ASP and their team. She had Rob come out, made adjustments and quickly repaired the issues. One week later,(with a wedding in my backyard, 7 days away) my neighbors tree feel on the pool equipment. Lynn and Jeff were at the house at Monday at 8 am, accessed the damage, two days later Rob was out, making the repairs, filled the pool and again Lynn and Jeff were back getting the pool ready & I had a wedding in the backyard. They were sensitive to my issues and worked hard to ensure the pool looked perfect for the wedding. If things are not right, they are going to make them right! I can not thank the team enough at ASP for turning a very stressful pool owner into one who now worries about nothing, because, Lynn, Rob , Jeff and the ASP team manage my pool. The best!

I called American Swimming Pools on Wednesday, explaining the problem I was having with my parents pool pump. On Thursday morning a representative called to set up an appointment for next week. I explained to him my issue and needed the repair done this week, if at all possible, because my parents were hosting a celebration for Greek Orthodox Easter on Sunday and wanted the pool open so the grandchildren could enjoy it. Within two hours the technician was there, repaired it and was on his way. The charge was nominal to my pleasant surprise. I would recommend these guys to all in pool service need. Im a new/novice pool owner, so naturally when my pump abruptly stopped working I immediately thought it had died. ASP was quick to respond, and Rob came out the next day to replace it. When Rob arrived he noticed there wasnt any power running to the pump, so he checked my breaker in the garage, and, sure enough, it was tripped. He couldve easily fooled me and replaced my pump and charged me for it, so needless to say I was quite thankful. He even gave me a tutorial on my system. Very impressed with the service and response time! Will definitely use again for future repair needs!

Ive been trying to call this company since the beginning of June. I either get the voicemail or the call center. They take my name and number and say someone is gonna call. They said that last week too when I called. I just need to know if they service my area in Rock Hill and I need pricing. We havent been able to use our pool yet. **just called again and they took my name and number again.**

Charlotte has just experienced the worst winter that I know of and so our old pool pump was fighting to keep the pipes freezing. Of course now it decided to break!Rob came out within 3 hours and on time and had a new variable speed pump fitted that will save us thousands on electric. Top service and my go-to company from now on.

My neighbors pool pump went bad and was making a terrible racket, and after my many attempts to get them to eliminate the noise and vibrations over many months, they finally told me that if I wanted to, I could try to find someone to look at it. I called Will Stanley one Monday afternoon about 2 pm. By 3 pm Will and I were standing in my neighbors backyard looking at the pump. Will diagnosed the pump as having bad bearings. By 3 oclock the next day, Wills technician had installed a new, very quiet, and very low energy use pump. Problem solved! I dont have a pool, but would certainly recommend ASP to anyone who has one.

Pool/Spa heater went down 3 days before the deep freeze hit NC. Called several pool companies and got a similar response from many: Oh we may get out there in a week or two. Man, Im shut down until January 27th. Unacceptable. Finally called ASP and they should have been the first call. The company is great, their pricing is excellent, but the service is why I will be a repeat customer as long as I own a pool. Rob is outstanding. A true professional who knows his pool equipment inside and out. He installed a new 400,000BTU heater for my pool on a day when the highs barely touched 20. Me being the pool guru proceed to burn out my motor several days later. Texted Rob at 11:40PM defeated. He called me at 8AM (texted me back first at 4:45AM?!) and was at the house @ 2:00PM with a new pump/motor ready to install. We are up and running now and could not be happier with the service Rob provided. ASP is outstanding, but having an employee like Rob to count on is truly a rare find especially in the pool service industry.

I contracted ASP to install a motor pump. When turned on the motor burned up. Then I had no power at the house, and Installer says I need to call Duke Energy to have it fix, after some back and forth he checked around and had it taken care of, then blamed the wiring and breaker box for the issue, which is not true. This happened on Wednesday, they said will have the replacement in by Monday, which is OK, I called today Tuesday, and the technician was aggravated by my call, and went on to say that he will just drop it off as soon as received and that he wont be installing, and that is OK with me I much rather have another company do the installation. I do not recommend this company.Update April 10, finally I received my new motor.
