I have used Carolina Pool King for the past 7 years. As a first time home owner with a pool, they have been extremely flexible with my needs. Whenever I call on them for adhoc water treatments when we are out of town, or when I have repairs, they are always responsive and accommodate my schedule. Additionally, I find they are genuine with their suggested repairs and pricing, and are not trying to sell me anything. Technicians that have come to service my pool for filter repair/cleaning or routine water treatment and cleaning, have always been professional. I would, and have previously, recommended them to my friends.

Carolina Pool King performed a pool inspection for buyer clients of ours. They were extremely communicative and organized, letting us know when they would be out and confirming via email. When we had to reschedule last minute due to seller issues, they were understanding and worked us into the schedule again! We appreciate any business who has great follow up and follow through and will be using their services again!

I routinely take a water sample to this company and the service is ALWAYS professional and accurate. They always have the chemicals I need and suggest new pool pump setting for every season. Having an inground pool in your yard is a commitment and I trust the staff with any chemical and/or suggestions to keep is in tip top shape!

I can’t say enough good things about Pool King. The owners and staff are friendly AND knowledgeable. I use them exclusively for water testing and chemical advice/purchases and will continue to do so on a regular basis. Have tried to use “the other” pool stores in Charlotte (in a pinch) and wind up disappointed every single time.

Our pool remote did not work any more. Poolking charged us $ 121.62 just for coming and looking at it. The result: we need a replacement remote or a completely new remote system.Although calling two times, we did neither get an answer nor a quote for 18 days.

We have used Carolina Pool King for several years. They are very responsive and have kept our pool in good working order for years of swimming enjoyment.

Showed up very late and damaged my yard. Refused to fix it. So unprofessional and even yelled are in front of my children. I would NEVER recommend these people. They did a bad job.

Thanks to the team at Carolina Pool King my pool is now operational and clean again. A recent repair by another pool company proofed to be disastrous with a lot of headaches. Positive experiences several times with Alan coming out to service our 10+ year old pool. Aqua-Logic board replacement, Chlorinator replacement, Polaris Booster Pump replacement and leaky valve identification. All work performed to satisfaction and pool is operating better than it has for many years! Thank you and we will call again.

The pool inspection was $250 and they provided a terrific report. They were able to get out to the home quickly and turned the report around quickly as well.

I have just started working with Carolina Pool King and they have impressed me so far! Derek and Caleb came to open our pool and I could not have asked for friendlier, knowledgeable or thoughtful gentlemen. The pool pump had a leak and Derek took pictures to show their repairman. I was told they would call me Monday, and sure enough, Gabby did. She is also very friendly and helpful. I definitely recommend them!

They arrive on time. Do the job well. We have been using them to open and close our pool for a few years now with excellent service.

They never call you back, customer service could use improvement. One shouldnt have to continue to follow up to give a business their hard earned earned money. Maybe they are too busy or something else, dont know. Guess it doesnt really matter. Id look elsewhere.

Carolina Pool King has been a stress saver for me. They are professional, courteous, educated on the various workings of your pool, thorough and dependable. Alan is exceptional and I am happy to see him, knowing that when he leaves whatever issues I may be having with my pool are soon to be rectified. His knowledge and attention to detail provide true comfort. Truthfully, the entire team is exceptional and I look forward to working with them once again next spring.

I would NEVER EVER EVER recommend them. They LITERALLY ruined my fiberglass pool by using the wrong brush and too harsh of chemicals. I have had SEVERAL companies tell me the same. When I asked them to look at it (because you can clearly see it was from a brush) they acted like they didnt know. MONTHS of this. My pool was 1.5 years old and now I HAVE to pay $3400 to have it fixed. THEN they wanted to ask me for $500 for their services. BE very careful.

A power surge killed our pool heater and we needed professional help. I called on Tuesday, got scheduled for Thursday and everything was up and running by noon. Staff and service people were happy to help and Im happy to have found a reliable company to service my pool.

I had serious problem with my pool that is serviced by Pool King late on a very cold, rainy Saturday evening. I called and was amazed the Jim answered the phone and even more amazed that he said he would be right over to get me out of trouble. Extraordinary service and responsiveness!! Their service was always excellent, but this type of service went above excellent. It was amazing!Highly recommend this company!!

For many years I struggled to find an honest pool company in Charlotte. Most pool companies are full of empty promises and cannot deliver and some are even thieves.Carolina Pool King has been a breath of fresh air. I was hesitant to do a contract bc of my previous experiences with other pool companies, and they were understanding of my reservations.After 6 months of having Carolina Pool King, I have nothing but great things to say about them, from their maintenance crew, to the repair techs, and the office and management staff, Carolina Pool King has greatly exceeded my expectations and I can say I’m finally happy to actually own a pool! They show up on time, they do the job right, and their administrative staff is very responsive.

I would caution the use of this company. In early February 2020 we entered a signed agreement for weekly pool care. After 2 weeks and no service I called the company to check and was told that they wanted to change the terms of the agreement and increase the rate of the weekly service. I asked if they were sure they would not stand behind the weekly service agreement and they simply sent a new contract via e-mail with a new rate. Needless to say I did not sign a revised agreement and do not care to do business that will not stand behind their contract or word. Lots of good pool care companies out there but Carolina Pool King is not one of them.

I had a truly outstanding experience with Carolina Pool King from the call to get service through Alan coming out and solving my problems. Alan came early (which is rare) and was super patient and detailed working through the problems with my pool heater. I will definitely call on CPK in the future for all my pool needs.

Purchased a home last summer with an existing pool that wasnt maintained in transition of purchase. Kat was able to help me get it under control and cleaned up. They have closed and opened my pool since we purchased the house and they do a great job. Everything is explained to me so that I understand and can continue keep my pool water swimmable.

After contacting 3 different pool services for 2 weeks and trying to get someone to call me back, I found Carolina Pool King. Within 36 hours of speaking to Gaby in the office, my failed equipment was replaced and at a good price. I dont need or use pool services often but its great to have these folks to rely on when you need them.

We have a pool that was only 6 months old and the freeze protection did not work this winter cause several large pieces of equipment to break. The company that installed our pool was completely unhelpful to the point of being rude. Carolina Pool King was incredibly helpful and worked really hard to get the manufacturer of the equipment to cover the repairs. They were incredibly helpful and friendly throughout the process and I feel worked very hard on our behalf. We will always call them in the future based off this.
