I have never done one of these reviews. But WHAT IS THIS? On top of this horrible FILL IN not even full set I get charged 50 dollars??? Lol. I mean I wouldn’t mind paying if they were atleast decent. Went back got them fixed with a pink color but the shape is still horrible and it’s definitely not worth 50 dollars in my opinion. This is just sad. I have never had a set this bad.

Great service! Everyone was very nice. Lynn did a great job on my full set! Ill will definitely be going back to her!

Just an update from my other review, 2 days ago. All my nails are lifting and now 1 is completely off, also with GEL polish chipping(gel isn’t suppose to chip).I have been calling everyday and been receiving the run around. Very unprofessional and I am honestly disappointed. Times are hard and I wanted to treat myself but instead I was disrespected and have a halfway nail job. I am giving them until 1/21 to get this situation justified or I will result in other measures.

Absolutely terrible. there was a beginner doing my nails and he didnt do anything right. wont come back.

I went last Monday, paid $70 for my nails plus $15 dollar tip. By Thursday they had chipped & one broke. I called before going to see if they could fix it, the rep said yes to come in. When I went into the salon I advised I just wanted them fixed but not by the same person bc he did a terrible job. The rep tried getting someone else no one wanted to assist me made me feel very uncomfortable like I was the problem. I told her just have him fix them than bc I was already sitting for 20 min & they kept assisting everyone walking in after me. The guy that fixed my nails was miserable and was smacking my hands all around, the globs of the glitter he put on my nails was embarrassing but by than I wanted to go. Still charged me another $15. Safe to say I won’t return and everyone I was with this weekend will not be going there. Be more professional people.

This place is wonderful. I love how they got me in immediately. Karla started filing my nails so they can soak while I waited for Kimmy to start the process of my full set. The wait wasn’t too long for soaking and the drinks were nice as well. Kimmy did a great job of my fullset. I’m from Atlanta but whenever I visit Charlotte again, I will be back at this location!

I got a mani pedi the other day and I have never had such a terrible experience at a nail salon. I have no idea how this nail salon has a 4 star rating, I would give this place a zero star if I could. The lady doing my nails was extremely rude and not personable. She also completely rushed my appointment and did not do a good job. And to top it off the salon was really dirty. Overall, it was not a very relaxing trip to get my nails done and it certainly was not worth what I paid.

By far the most money hungry and unprofessional place! EVERY TIME I’ve had an appointment they would run 45 minutes behind. I would always show up 15 minutes early to my appointment to ensure that I was there in time. They would pressure you to get a pedicure so that they can finish the person that just sat in there chair! There is no way you can do a fill in in 20 minutes! They double book appointments and will take a walk in 15 minutes before an appointment time. Piss poor customer service!

***PLEASE READ THIS REVIEW BEFORE CONSIDERING THIS NAIL SALON*** I suggest you take your money to Ayrsley Nail Bar.The customer service at Valentino Nail Bar is horrible. My younger sister went here on October 5th, 2020 to get a SNS manicure. A nail tech by the name of Mary (who has several bad reviews on here) did my sister’s nails. She did a horrible job. I saw my sister’s nails and saw that Mary dipped my sister’s nails way too much, causing the nails to look super thick and unnatural. She did not file or shape the nails. My sister’s nails had dips and bumps in them because of that. & Mary did not put the tips on correctly. the day after my sister got her nails done, the tips were already lifting off every single nail (look at the pictures). Mary did not even shape my sister’s natural nails underneath the tips. I took my sister back to see if she could get a refund or get her nails fixed.When I arrived, I spoke to a young lady who i’m assuming is the receptionist. I showed her what was wrong with my sisters nails and she told me that Mary could fix her nails. I told her that we preferred someone else to do her nails since Mary did not do a good job the first time. The receptionist kept saying that Mary is going to do her nails but I told her that we preferred someone else. After reiterating this to her, she said she would have someone else do her nails.My sister sat down with a male nail tech. Instead of soaking her nails off, he started lifting and pulling her nails off with his bare hands. my sister told him that hurt but he continued to pull her nails off. I had to step in at that point and ask him if he could soak her nails off instead because he was hurting her. Then he decided to stop and get some acetone to soak her nails off & then he grabbed a drill to shave off the rest. We shouldn’t have to tell the nail tech multiple times to stop something because it hurts. He obviously didn’t not care about my sister’s hands. He started to roll his eyes so I walked to the front again to speak with the receptionist because I didn’t feel comfortable with the nail tech having an attitude and a nail drill trying to remove my sister’s SNS.The receptionist walked to the back where the nail tech was and started whispering in his ear. I was confused.. why the whispering, eye rolling, attitudes, etc? If they didn’t want to redo my sister’s nails, they could have easily given her a refund ($50). But they said they don’t give refunds. At that point they were acting like they didn’t even want to correct my sister’s nails. My sister felt so uncomfortable that she said she just wanted to leave.I started to look up google reviews on this nail salon and saw that they have a plethora of negative reviews. I read a review where a lady said that Mary did a horrible job on her nails too and she asked for a refund immediately after. She spoke to the manager and said that the only way she could get a refund was if she soaked her nails off.I showed that review to the receptionist and she called the manager to ask about my little sister getting a refund. The manager kept telling the receptionist that they don’t give refunds. I asked to speak to the manager myself and told her everything that happened. She stated that it was their policy that they don’t issue refunds. I asked the manager if I could see their policy and she stated, “We don’t allow customers to see the policy. Only the employees can see the policy.” What?? That doesn’t make any sense. How do you have a policy and don’t allow customers (who are giving that business money) to see that policy? The policy is for the customers, not the staff. At that point, I was over it. I told the manager I was going to leave a review on her business and she just said okay. She did nothing to satisfy/service the customer. My sister and I left.If you’re considering getting your nails here, just take your money to Ayrsley Nail Bar. They’ll treat you better and your nails will come out fabulous.

Horrible service. I went to get my nails done and the lady was so rude and impatient and did not even understand english. Had to ask others to translate to let her know what I wanted for which she got more irritated and did not agree to change nail color. Ruined my day.Top of it, the nail colors started to chip off within a week. And they do not even have decent colors that match their catalog. Saw the bad reviews but decided to give the benefit of doubt.

My nails look horrible after getting a fill with regular polish and a gel top coat today. They had the nerve to charge $47 dollars for this with a polish change on my toes. I will never go back nor recommend anyone go there either. This was my worse fill ever!!! More it dries, the more the polish wrinkles

I don’t typically leave reviews but I feel it might be beneficial in hopes that mishaps like this don’t happen in the future. I booked an appointment online for a full set on a Sunday. It gave me time slots to chose from and I chose 6pm as it was when I could come after work. I received text confirmation of my appointment at 6pm. When I arrived for my appointment I let the receptionist know and she let me know that on Sunday’s they stop taking bookings at 5pm and that there were no available techs to do my nails. She was very sweet and tried to schedule a new appointment for me the following day but unfortunately I had a plane to catch in the morning. I was a bit disappointed that I wasn’t able to receive service but I don’t usually get my nails done so it wasn’t that big of a deal. I know the policy for next time and I will try this place again in the future as it was very nice inside the establishment and it seemed very professional otherwise. I wouldn’t hold this experience against the business. The only downside is that a reservation time slot was provided for selection outside the availability of the actual tech’s schedules and because of that I missed out! Maybe next time!

I came about 3 days and already my gel polish is coming off !!! Not only did I pay $82 for gel nails and polish on my toes but the gel is chipping. She didn’t get what I wanted the first time, I had to correct her multiple times & keep explaining to her that she was being rough with the drill. Never coming here again, way to crowded and not professional.

The atmosphere is so great. I walked in just for a pedicure and saw all the great nails being done and decided to get a full set. They do get a bit busy so next time I will make an appointment for sure.

I traveled to Concord for my birthday with my husband. My husband wanted to surprise me & book me lash extensions & a full set. He booked online. Imagine me surprised, there are 2 locations but only one is listed online. Not only was the receptionist was rude but wasn’t helpful. My husband thought he was booking for the Concord location but the appointment was made in Charlotte which wasn’t a big deal. But the receptionist could have said something after we waited a hour for services. As I’m trying to explain to the receptionist about the mistake, can I just get it done here? She said I would have to make another appointment for the next day because they are booked for the next day & the next walk in appointment was hours away. I’m just mad this is how out of town customers are treated. The website should have stated which location do you want? The website don’t even have the Concord location listed.

I have been going here since it was called JV nails and Tan way back when. Super disappointed but I am finally fed up. I came here for so many years because the nail talent (for the most part is impeccable) how ever the professionalism is at an all time low. The pricing is inconsistent and last night after being charged $20 more than what was a agreed upon I finally had enough. I asked to speak to the manager when they forgot to put me on hold and had a nasty conversation about me and left me on hold for 15 minutes before I hung up. Overall there are plenty other great nail techs in the Charlotte area. I would recommend going anywhere else to save the stress of it all.

My experience was excellent! The front lead was very professional! My mail text was excellent! I will be coming bck in two weeks!

So far I am loving this Nail Spa! I have been going for 2 months now after leaving my technician of 6 years and everyone has been great! You can tell that they believe in education because unlike other salons there are more than one or two people that are able to keep up with trends! This is the only place I come to to get my nails & pedicures done. They’re always very professional & the service is amazing. My pedi’s & full sets always last!

I pad for a full set and a pedicure and it was all trash. After a week all of nails are lifting,which has never happened, but my pedicure was bad too. The gel polish smuged the afternoon that I left.

The pedicure was good, however my full set is horrible. The acrylic is literally just sitting on the top of my nails, uneven, and bulky. Showed the women a picture of exactly what I wanted (length and color) and my nails are nothing like it.. at all! may go back for my feet, but NEVER again for my nails.

I received a pedicure and a new SNS powder dip set today. I was not pleased with my service. It seemed like my tech was very lazy. I got the organic pedicure and she didn’t even get all of the wax off of my feet. I always get the dip powder so I was shocked when she didn’t use the aluminum foil method to soak off my nails. My hands still have my old nail color all over my hands she didn’t clean my hands off or try. She wasn’t pleased with the service she performed, but she sure did wait for her tip. I didn’t even get my nail tech name, which should’ve been introduced upon service. Long story short I will not be back. Cleanse your salon energy please.If I could post these pictures I would!

Where do I begin? Do not waste your time, money, and effort coming here. They do a great job but it is temporary. My nails haven’t even made it a full week and I’ve already had two nails lift...on a fresh full set? How sway? And no they can’t use the line “you’re too rough on your nails, or your set is old and you need a new one”.When coming to the shop be prepared to wait 30-45 mins just to be seen and they have a check in. There is no structure for the wait and if they don’t remember who comes in so they will pull others ahead of you. When you mention it, they then will apologize and offer you wine but still not seat you.This place uses cheap acrylic products so be prepared for a few to pop off and need repairs. I won’t be returning...they also turned my nail green once. So there’s that.Just save your time guys.***see pics.*** keep in mind it hasn’t been a week 😬

My nail tech did a horrible job and cut my finger deeply because she was not paying attention. She also put acrylic under my SNS which I’ve never seen before and wanted to give it a try…will never do again foe future reference. My nail beds are sore from her drilling which lets me know she did not know what she was doing. Won’t be going back and urge all to stay away.

I really used to enjoy the service here but now it seems as if everyone is rude and inexperienced. This is my third time in a row not being satisfied. My nails and toes look terrible and they seem to not care. I will not be returning. If you’re in the area try modish nail spa. Service and quality much better.

I went in today for a fill in after calling and getting a quote for $20 for an acrylic fill in. The lady I had to we continuously trying to mark up the most obscene things and when the price somehow rose to $40 for SHORT nails with no shaping and no gels I eventually decided to try another salon, she then charged me for cutting my previous acrylics down…… when did people start charging for cutting nails? That is not a thing… she didn’t even file them …. i’ve never had worse service in my life and i’ve been getting my nails done for six years .... go to another salon trust me

Receptionist couldn’t keep up with the order of the customers that came in, had customer’s cutting in line. Long wait time. Nail tech rushed on my nails, continued to pressure me to get something more costly although I clearly stated several times what I wanted. Nail messed up immediately and had to immediately return to nail salon. I had a hard time getting a tech to repaint my nail without an attitude, waited 45 additional minutes to have one nail repainted. Nail tech did not paint all of the nails the same, Some had fewer coats and now I have 2 different colors on my nails. I hadn’t had the nails a full week and 2 have broken without pain, quality was poor and service was slow and not helpful. I definitely think the prices Do not align with the quality. I will not be returning to this salon.

First time getting my nails done here, Annie did such a good job, the shape was on point and she took her time to give me exactly what I wanted I will definitely be coming back.

They ruined my natural nail which were actually long. Would give zero stars. Even got into argument with tech because she was doing what she wanted and not what I asked for. Dont bother if you dont want your natural nails to come off and get damaged. She had so much glue, it peeled my nail away. Just left the last nail on after an hour of soaking in acetone. And yes thats blood in the pic, my nail is bleeding

I got a pedicure on Friday. By Friday night the polish began to chip. Returned to get it fixed. Treated like dirt . waiting more than 40 minutes while people who come in after without an appointment get taken care of. Really poor customer service if they think you are just there for a repair of their bad job.

Unprofessional as hell. If you just need a nail repair, they’ll treat you like dirt because you’re not spending more money.

If you are looking for a place to relax VALENTINO NAIL BAR is that place to be. Grab a drink from their bar lol and enjoy the experience. Loc is the tech that I used and he is very detailed oriented. He takes pride in his work and I have never experienced a tech like him. Love love how I was able to show him a pic and he did way better than the pic I wanted. The tech that did my feet was really great as well. I didnt get her name because she was really quiet but I loved how she took care of my feet. I am new to the Charlotte area and best believe I will be returning ☺😊. Thanks everyone oh and I cant forget about the two hosted up front they makes the place run soooo smoothly. Thanks Ladies 😘.Update: Although everything I said about my nail tech and the place is true......Ive never experienced my nails lifting after one week. Its been exactly ONE WEEK. I have to use nail glue to keep them down until I get them done again. Thanks for the experience but idk if I want to return. I paid to much for my nails to lifting after ONE WEEK.!

I went to this salon four times, the first two times were great, because i got powdered Acrylic. The most recent times i got gel polish on acrylic. I got my nails done a couple weeks ago and it chipped after a few days, i went back, they “fixed” them and they started chipping again almost immediately. I decided to give the salon one more chance with a different color, i went yesterday and after only a few hours two nails had started chipping :/ great customer service and nail techs, but they need better gel polish or application methods or something. I tried to call for a refund since this was the third time chipping and the lady on the phone told me to come back and they will fix again but they don’t give refunds at all. So i will not be returning to this salon

I love Lee. She always does an amazing job, and I appreciate the time she takes each time and doesn’t rush to do my nails like other techs have in the past.

Service was nice lady was nice but I wanted long nails and she didnt tell me that they couldnt do that till after they started on my nails which I dont know why she would think I would want natural gel nails I literally have no nails on my fingers and my hands still have caluses on them and dirt under my hat little nails I do have and they r all uneven and mishappened now so needless to say I am not happy after paying 85 dollars for not what I wanted to get and not getting anywhere near the quality of service I should have gotten for that price this is ridiculous and imIvery upset

Hands NOW match my Head: BALDI decided to take the day to pamper myself. I am new to the area and a few times before, I went to a place called Valentinos Nail Bar on University, I believe. At first my experiences seemed comfortable.However this last visit was horrific. II have been growing my own natural nails for well over 20 years. I have always gone to nail salons to keep them maintained.On yesterday I went there to soak off acrylic and to have a fresh coat reapplied with designs etc.I walk in with 10 of my real nails and walk out with my hands as bald as my head. After soaking the tech begins to file off the remaining acrylic. Without a thought, he picks up the nail clipper and cuts my nails. I stop him like; EXCUSE ME THESE ARE NOT TIPS THESE ARE MY NAILS.He flips mt hands over to look under the melting acrylic and just says oh sorry. I ask for the manager after several attempts to get a resolution. A manager emerges from the back after I was told he was not there and only available by phone. He sits down, offered to apply tips, yeag (fake nails) with a 10% discount. Ummmmm excuse me I walked in with 10 natural nails and you want to discount me 10% after your tech damaged my hands? Thats not sufficient.I have a sentimental family tradition as to why I even began this natural nail journey. They had no regard for their error. I had been there and always paid well and tipped well. This has put a sour taste in my mouth when it comes to their business and their professionalism.I now need to start over. Find a nail salon that has the creativity and styles, professional and space that can provide that get away feel when pampering calls. I am so hurt. I cried there and the tears still flow.

I am only giving this 3 stars because I went there and wanted a manicure and nails painted. I had stated I wanted a manicure but was not sure what types they offered since it was my first time, the tech really didnt inform me of anything and just proceeded to take my nail polish off , which she left the residue under my nail, and filed my nails and stuck my hand in a bowl of cold water. She did do a great job on my french tip gel nails and was sweet but I went in wanting relaxation and didnt get it.

The ABSOLUTELY worst full set Ive ever got. He couldnt shape them correctly and they are extremely thick. Even the top coat is patchy making the color underneath uneven. Now I got janky uneven thick nails that I have to let grow before I can get them redone. $75 wasted.

I have been going here for over 2 years there are a few technicians who do good work but as far as communication they have NONE every other month there is a new receptionist who doesn’t KNOW NOTHING they over book meaning they will book appointments at same time never apologize for it being there fault over charge for everything if I was you I wouldn’t waste your time or money there are other nail salons very close that do a way better job and have great customer service skills

Loved the way my nails turned out prices are a bit on the high side. Mary did my nails she did make me bleed on my pinky when she took off my old nails 😅 but the outcome was amazing. Will be coming back.Update: nail broke and when i went to get it fixed she did it in a rush and got mad at me and when i didn’t noticed i touched it when it was a really simple fix

I got a GC from my sister to get my nails done here. Its a very beautiful salon and the people are very friendly. My nails looked really nice but I felt that $90 is a bit steep for stickers, the only real art was the 3D flower that was done free hand. The applique butterfly she added glitter then told me it was $5 extra. Every design I chose couldnt be done because that person wasnt there. Ill stick with my regular salon. It was a nice experience but way too pricey for my blood.

1st time coming here and got a SNS fill in. I was so concerned when the nail tech stopped at 2 dips because I’m used to getting 4-5 dips and when I expressed my concern she told me that it would make it too chunky and thick and would look bad growing out. I trusted her and the end result was beautiful. Definitely coming here again. Quick but probably the best SNS I’ve ever had. The nail tech spent a lot of time on my cuticles, under my nails, and on the sides of my nails which I REALLY appreciated and haven’t gotten at any other salon I’ve been to. Highly recommend!

I took my 2 daughters (both gel polish nail painting) my sister in law (full set) my daughters dads Gf (full set) and myself (full-in) I’m so thankful that they have as many employees as they do so there was no wait, but before we even left one of my daughters nails had to be repainted 3 times, 3 different nails. Within a week after we got our nails done one $70 full set had a nail brake in half and they simply didn’t put the sparkles on the other full set.. For my fill in one nail chipped opening the hood of my car, one chipped opening a bottle of ranch, and another completely broke of.. I paid $195 (not including tip) for bad quality. There service was great, but I wish my nails would have lasted longer for that price. Will not return!

Amanda did my nails shes the best. I really liked her work. She pays attention to detail. Also move quick, but not rushing. So I should say she has a good sense of urgency. While giving good customer service as well. I would recommend this place and go back.

I really wanted to like this place since its so close to home. I had an appointment for 6pm I arrived a little early. Shortly after I arrived I was seated in the pedicure seat for 50 mins before someone came to work on my feet. By then the water was cold. The tech did a rush pedicure. After the pedi was finished I sat another 15 mins waiting to get my nails done. When she finally started my nails, I showed her a picture what I wanted and the length I wanted them. She kept arguing with me that it was too short. I advised her I know what I want and its the length I always get. My nails are a bit uneven and crooked. In total I spent 2 1/2 hours just for a pedi and full set. And I had an appointment. If I do return, I will not use the same techs. If im paying 80.00 then I expect 80.00 service. The shop is beautiful. They have shields between the tech and customer but they seat customers next to each other. I didnt like that but thankfully I didnt have to sit next to anyone.

This is the best nail salon in Charlotte! They’ve nice, good customer service, and they can do everything! Love it 😍

I went in on Wednesday afternoon to get a pedicure and full set …pedicure was done promptly but the wait for my nails was ridiculous they say 15-20 mins and that was a lie … I went back on Friday around 12:45 for the full set and not one word was said to me about my wait …customer service is beyond poor I decided to leave at 2pm purposely just to see how long they would go without addressing the wait time .. they didn’t ask if anybody wanted a beverage or anything …

Came here for a pedicure and full set. My pedicure was great but my full set looks horrible and they were done by Merry. I’m upset bc I know what she’s capable of bc I viewed their instagram beforehand. After I brung it to her attention that I didn’t like the shape of my nails she instantly caught an attitude and stated she didn’t see anything wrong with my nails. She filed them done like that would help but it was the shape of the nails all together. She didn’t push my cuticles back completely and being a customer I shouldn’t have to be the one to tell her that being she’s an experienced nail technician.

I just want to say that I have been here for the third time and I love coming here and I’ve been to two different nail techs and I came in to get a repair and came to Kim Vo and I fell in love with her professionalism and how well she took care of me and my nails!!! Instead of getting two repairs fixed she say let’s start over and from scratch and when I tell you I’m in heaven and she did an amazing and awesome job!! Thank you so much and she has a new client!! 😍😍😍

I would not recommend coming here . The lady doing my pedicure was super rough and dug the foot cleaning utensils way to far in my toe nails . I requested to get a full set but the lady doing my manicure was not able to match the colors I wanted and it was sooooo simple. Bottom line is my hands hurt when I wash them because she was literally drilling on my skin. The nailTechnician did Frequent walk always , pausing my service to scroll on Instagram , YouTube , etc . This was probably one of the worst experiences and I would never go back . It’s so much more I could say but I’m not .

A lady named merry Pham did my nails, very rude lady. Kept pushing my arms around, and gave me the wrong color and was really rude and kept singing while doing my nails which is weird to me. Products were cheap and dirty. I tipped her because my nails still turned out good, and I’m not cheap, but she is a nasty woman and I will instead choose a black owned business next time because they always have great customer service. Do not come here if you want to be treated like a decent human being.

(Concord Location) I came in for a Organic Manicure, was quickly sat with a manicurist. She begins working on my nails then all of the sudden stops and starts working on someone else’s. Didn’t say anything she simply got up and sat at another area and began doing someone else’s nails.. I was so confused I thought she was going to come back but nope, no one else replaced her either. I’ve never experienced such bad service like this before, I will never come back here again.Don’t waste your money, Modish Nail Spa in University is better anyways.

Appointments are not honored. Staff is unprofessional and unorganized. I have visited several nail salons in Charlotte and this is one of the worst. Gel polish was cracking and peeling 2 days after getting nails done. Go somewhere else. Trust me.

The chrome nail powder on my real nails was chipping before I got home, and they shouldnt cost 40.00. When they arent using as much polish! 🤔 I shouldnt be seeing the pink polish!

Although very busy, it was worth it! I was switching from a my Nail Tech of over 15 yrs and was so scared to try someone new. This salon far exceeded my expectations! I definitely recommend them.

I’ve been coming here for the past couple months. I normally get a manicure & pedicure & it’s not a bad price for both. The vibe is nice & the employees are very nice too. They are on top of keeping people 6 feet apart & keeping the chairs & stations sanitized & cleaned which is great in times like this.

Went to the salon to get a pedicure and full set. My pedicure was fantastic. However, my full set was not. I don’t know the lady’s name, she was older with burgundy hair but she nicked my finger several times & shaped my nails without asking me what shape i wanted. She also was very unprofessional as she was watching a show on her phone and not giving me her full attention. This led to her not painting certain spots and having to go paint over it 3 times which left it looking very thick and unnatural. Will never get acrylics done here again

Your ladies rush through sets! Don’t rush because you don’t like what polish type I chose. Don’t rush putting acrylic on my nails: that causes premature lifting. File the nail like you mean it, smooth and even. STOP RUSH THROUGH YOUR WORK.And please teach those ladies how to count. 15+9 does NOT equal $30. Simple math shouldn’t be that hard. Do better as a whole.

I’ve been going to this nail salon consistently since 2016 or 2017. They are amazing. My nail tech is Amanda. She is so down to earth, talented & does an excellent job on my nails. It’s a wonderful atmosphere. I’ve met some nice people here because the nail techs welcome everyone and serve drinks. They DO NOT RUSH your services and definitely are affordable. They have all the colors & again my nail tech is talented. Love Valentino Nail Bar. Best salon in Charlotte hands down.

This was certainly not one of my better experiences getting my nails done. My tech, I am not sure what her name was, was very unprofessional and took multiple phone calls during my session which caused her to misunderstand what I wanted. She rushed and cut my finger and also did a sloppy job on polish application. I asked for a design and what she did was no where near what I asked for so I politely asked her to remove it. She then tried to apply a sticker without asking me and it was not applied very well so I then had to wait for her to remove that as well. Overall, I was not satisfied with my visit here.

Scheduled an appointment online but once I got there, it was already packed. Some people walked in right before me and also had an appointment at the same time as mine and they still had to wait. No one acknowledged me during the time I was there. I called UV Nails down the streer and they had no wait so I was able to get right in for my pedicure. Will never go back to Valentino Nail Bar!!!

Carla? Walks around with a h o r r i b l e attitude. $23 for acrylic fill in and coffin shape ( I got regular polish). She made my cuticle bleed in 3 places. She did make the price clear from the beginning. Not the end of the world but not pleasant.I didnt have Annie but she was indeed talented. Clients were INCREDIBLY rude to most all technician. Im guessing they adjust their professionalism to the level respect they receive from the client. 4 stars because it wasnt over the top. Take away 1 star because it could DEFINITELY be cleaner.

One of the best nail salons I’ve been to. Very nice people & very very sanitary. Ask for Helen when going , she does amazing work every time , I’ve never been disappointed !

Spent $110 last week on an ombré full set and an upgraded pedicure with acrylic toes just for the index finger of my full set to completely lift up at the bottom and fall off, WHOLE! I’ve been getting my nails done for 20 years at this point and never once have I had an acrylic nail fully lift up and fall off after a week of application. It’s literally not even time for a fill in yet. The 2 girls that used to be the best techs in here left and moved to the other VNB location in Concord. Save your money and go somewhere else. 🤷🏽‍♀️

I use to love this nail salon. I would see customer come in upset about the way their nails turned out but was never that picky customer. Until today I just left because the lady gave me a color that clearly didn’t match. I told Nora or whatever her name is that it clearly didn’t match before she finished the second coat on the first foot. She agreed but then I told her I didn’t like the color and the nerves she had to tell me I would be charged to take the color off and redo them when she wasn’t even half way done. No other person including her said the color was the same. Of course management wasn’t there but I paid and decided to handle things about way. I value place that put customer satisfaction first and this nail salon is not one.

I went in to this place for 1st time Saturday. I went in for a full set but decided that I wanted a pedicure as well. The lady who did my pedicure did a great job. She took her Time. But, then I was sat down with Mary. She did a horrible rush job. She took her time with her client before but rushed through mines. I have never gotten my nails done under 30 minutes. People that were sitting at the door waiting on their were very shocked as well. Mary acted like it was nothing asked me to pay and walked off. The owner said to me the only way to get my money back was to soak off everything. That really shows how despicable he was. This place will never get another dime of my money. Ever!!!

Went in last week to have a gel overlay done for my maternity pictures. TRASH. My nails were so uneven, they werent even filed to a perfect sharp square. The acrylic is chunky up under the nail he did a horrible job with the little power brush things and he kept cutting my cuticles with it. I will never go here again...

This was my second time coming to Valentino’s and I had another AMAZING experience. after leaving my old nail tech of 4 years, I came in and the nail tech at Valentino’s named Annie did a BEAUTIFUL marble and Ombre set. I’m going to try to attach a picture! I recommend this nail salon to all of my friends!!! Try it, you won’t regret it.They also followed all Covid procedures which I really appreciate!

Pedicure was actually the best I have had in Concord, however they do not communicate well, have a hard time understanding requests that are made. Did not meet the needs I had even though I was very specific with my requests both on the phone when I made the appointment again when I showed up for the appointment. Couldn’t get the story straight on why the couldn’t meet my needs. Tom too long even though I had an appointment left without my nails done and even though it was their fault still got charged a full price for soak off didn’t even discount me for the inconvenience they caused. My daughters nails were way more expensive here than anywhere else they charged independently for the shape length and detail I’ve never faced this her nails were not excessively long but I paid extra for length, coffin shape, gel polish and rhinestones. Where it would normally cost me 50 I paid 70 for work that was inconsistent. Will never go back here
