Myself and my 11 year old and 7 year old all had a wonderful experience. They are fantastic with children and very respectful. The place is clean with a calming environment. They did a fantastic job on all three of our nails. My eyebrows were done quickly and turned out great as well. Pricing is also great! Walk ins are welcome.

My fist time visiting - foremost, a lady (not sure of her position or name) literally forced me to leave a review of my services using my phone as I was still sitting and getting my pedicure. She herself selected 5 stars and instructed me what to type. That was the most RUDE, UNPROFESSIONAL, and UNCOMFORTABLE experience I’ve ever received at a nail spa. However, I’m a very nice person and was too shocked that she did this to even open my mouth to stop her.The pedicure finish was a B. The nail tech was slightly rough, resulting in a couple of raw spots on my toes (burned whenever the alcohol was applied).The acrylic full set with gel polish was a D-. It was surely rushed. Hours later I noticed that my nails felt very rugged on the sides. The technician did not smooth or remove the excess acrylic underneath the nail.The finish is jagged and bulky looking.No, I will not contact management for a redo, nor will I return to this business. I understand that nail technicians perform services back-to-back, however it is not fair or professional to be sloppy whenever the urge strikes. This is why you end up with reviews such as mine.p.s. I deleted the 5 star review that was forced.It seems the majority of “new reviews” here sound exactly what I was asked to write: X did a great job….

Kim did a full set on me. The shaping in the picture does it no justice because in person it is so perfect !!! She cleaned my cuticles up nicely!!!!!! I’m just beyond impressed. Really. First time coming here and I drove almost 30 minutes away. Definitely a new regular… DeeDee did my eyelashes perfect only $30. Compared to somewhere else it’s over $100

Ive been there twice. Was totally not pleased my first visit. Decided to give them another try with a different nail tech. I was happy, initially. But, I have to go back 3 days later because the polish has come off two of my toenails.

Thank you so much Ann I have been a customer for over a year and she has never let me down. I set an appointment every 2 weeks and she helps me with picking a color, she shapes them perfectly and does not rush on my nails or feet.

When I usually go the service be ok. It feels like they always rushing through the service to get the next person. Quantity over quality. I just recently gotten a fill in and 2 days later 3 nails broke. They fixed it but made it seem like it was my fault. No it’s yours, take your time and do it right the first time then I wouldn’t have to come back. Now the gel polish is already coming off. Bad service.

Was extremely unhappy with the results. They rushed my nails, and within two days I had most of my nails popped off. I literally scratched my leg and had two nails just pop off. When I asked them to redo my nail (I had my receipt) they still charge me again. They even cut me when redoing my nails.

I got my nails here done today for the first time for my birthday! I love how the nail tech did her work and she stayed with me after closing to continue to do my nails! She was very patient and kind. Definitely will come again in the future

I have been to Ava nails maybe 4 or 5 times and I must say that Ann and DeeDee are my FAVORITES!!! I’m very particular about my shaping and designs and they execute every time or better yet they make it even better. They are a 10/10 recommend for me! I want to see them every time I come.

Definitely my favorite spot. I’m not from NC so it was so hard to find a good shop but this is perfect ladies. They are on time, obeying by CDC guidelines for social distancing and even take temperatures to ensure everyone is safe. Emily did an amazing job fixing some bad work I got from another nail shop. Absolutely will be back and yes I recommend them.

So I came here to get my nails done with my girlfriends for my birthday. I am the type to just get a pedicure as I have small children so typical for me is short nails. Anyway my mother raves about this place and her nails are always on point. I took her recommendation and decided to come here. The man who did my nails greeted me and I initially was excited. He told me to pick a color and I advised I wanted a French with oval shape. He proceeded to start my nails. There was no nail prep in the slightest. He slipped the tips on my fingers as is after I told him I have not done them in Awhile. Just because I haven’t done my finger nails in awhile doesn’t mean I don’t know the process of how they should be done. I ignored it. I let him know I wanted a design something to make my nails pop since I was getting a classic French and he told me to show him a picture. So I showed him a picture. It was at that point things took a turn for the worse. After he applied the acrylic I did not like the shape at all. It was terribly bulky. So I asked him to file them down more. I could tell he was upset by that because she started gripping my hand and nails with more force but he did what I requested. Even after filing them down after I requested they were still ugly and bulky and I politely asked him to do it again. The fact that I had to ask was very uncomfortable for me. He was clearly upset and I just wanted my nails done. We finally get to the design the part I was most excited about and he was just acting as if I was asking for the MOST all I wanted was some LINES some pops of color SOMETHING to make a statement. After I picked the colors he did the sloppiest line and asked if It was good. We just stared at each other for a moment and I was just fed up I told him to take it off and put a clear coat I wanted to be finished! Another nail tech came over to see what was happening and offered to do my design but I declined because at that point the first time customer experience was ruined. I will attach a photo of my nails and as you all can see my cuticle line looks horrendous. It’s a sloppy job period. I did still tip him I’m just unhappy with service.

Omg...ive found my new 💅home! My girl NANCY hooked me up! Im kinda simple but cute 💅She was quick, clean, and all the way on point! The whole nail salon does a good job...pedicures are good too! They are always busy but never a long wait because they are fully staffed...please please go check them out! I am OVER satisfied and im NEVER satisfied..😝💕

Decided to try out this nail salon because of the great reviews. Big mistake. Two weeks prior, I went somewhere else to get my full set but came to Ava Nail Spa to give Ann a chance due to her remarkable reviews. She shaved down majority of the acrylic that was previously put on, making my nails THIN. It is now going on two weeks later and five of my nails are lifting due to the horrendous application of acrylic. Was also told to pick another color besides the one I originally selected because it would have taken too many coats. I have NEVER been told this before. Maybe it’s because they were super packed and she was rushing but that is still not an excuse. I will not be a repeat customer.

The nail tech damaged my natural. She use a tip to remove the SNS nail that had chipped. She was very insistent that she pulled a hang. Of course the nail lifted and chipped within the week. I usually receive better service. She was not my regular person.

Dee Dee is the best. Old school and know how to do sculptured nails. Nobody else in shop can do them. He also hooked up my eyebrows.

They give a great pedicure and are pretty good about getting you in and out. This place is super busy on the weekend. So get there early if you can. Theres not a lot of social distancing once its crowded so, if thats a concern go during the week day

Mary was great!!! She did not do a bunch of unnecessary talking. She gave me what I asked for and helped me charge my phone. The pedicure was excellent!

Super friendly, clean, professional environment. Massage chairs and experienced professional at every chair. All you need. Julie handled me and treated me at the most important customer and Ava is the best.

That was one of the worst manicures Ive had. Maybe I was not lucky with master, but first he didnt smooth edges after shaping, had to ask for that. Second, application of nail polish was inaccurate, like 7 years old kid would and he didnt even clean what got on skin

Ann has been my mail tech for 5 years.... she is always willing to accept me when I call. I prefer the Dip Powder over the real mail than gel polish. S&S last longer!

I have been coming to Ava’s here and there a good year and a half. They do a good job for the most part, however there is a very unprofessional staff member working there that I encountered. A very rude comment was made and staff was argumentative with other staff. Never experienced that from Ava’s. They need to make sure all staff members providing a service is professional and watch what you say to people.

First time coming. My Tech was Alice and she did an awesome mani/pedi. She did not rush and was very detail oriented. Also had my brows done and they look great. I will definitely be back. Come early, they get busy!

I’ve been a customer for over 3 years. Ann has been my technician and is so amazing. She’s accommodating, remembers my previous colors and makes great suggestions that make me happy. She’s always so thoughtful and asks about my family. I think of her as a friend. She’s the sweetest and is talented and gentle with my nails. I could go anywhere to spend my money but, I choose Ann because I always love the service and my nails!

She’s always available to squeeze me in for an appointment any time I contact her. She’s awesome with full-sets and pedicures and she’s very gentle. She also does great eyebrows. She able to do any style I show her and I love her freestyles/recommendations as well. Ava Nails is very clean and they never disappoint. Thank you all for your services!

Went for a luxury pedicure and dip powder. Pedicure was awesome. Didn’t get the gentleman’s name but he took great care of my feet. Dip powder was extremely thick and not very well applied at all. Most likely won’t return.

Oh. My. Gosh. This place is AMAZING. We did the manicures and pedicures with the paraffin wax and it was heaven. We didn’t feel rushed, everyone was wearing a mask, and it was pretty much the most relaxing experience of my life. My nails look awesome too! They had so many choices and they were very gentle and careful.

Never went. I booked online then called the salon to make sure it went through properly. Lady told me they dont have reservations. I told her about the reservation feature online she just repeated that they dont do reservations. Not a great experience for me.I added 1 more star because the owner reached out and apologized for my experience abs offered a free service. I havent gone, but I sincerely appreciate the offer

I was a walk-in & asked for a gel mani & pedi. Pedicure was great, no issues. However, my gel manicure was just ugly. I left the salon and saw a hair IN my nail (on the ring finger in the pic) and the lines on the design were just bad. I went back as soon as I could to get them taken off and I asked for a refund for my manicure only, but was told that the services were done and they can re-do them but no refund. After that experience I’d rather have my money back and go to a better salon than to have them do my nails again.Response to the owner: I was not critical of my manicure as I was getting them done because 1) I did have work that evening so I was in a rush 2) I was embarrassed to even tell the nail tech I did not like the work she was doing. I called the next day telling you guys I had a hair in my nail, but I couldn’t go in because of work. TUES: went in got my nails done. WEDS: Called about my nails. THURS: Came in to get them taken off. So in no way did I come in “4 days later” just to get my refund. And when I came back, it was the same lady who messed them up in the first place telling me she can re-do them and she said “I didn’t see any hair in your nail” (Look @ the picture & tell me you don’t see any hair) However, if the nails were horrid the first time, I don’t expect them to be any better the 2nd time.

Chelse was great! I can tell she values what she does! My feet feel and look fantastic. I will be requesting her on my next visit.

Went here for eyebrows, a full set and pedicure! They both looked great but the two of my nails were coming up in less then a weeks time. Went out of the country so when I came back I called them. They refused to fix without me paying because it was over a week even though I said I could provide proof of travel! This is disappointing considering all the money I have spent here! Had to glue the nails down they hurt so bad and will go elsewhere to fix!! The eyebrows where not to good enough to go back for!

They will over-file your nails. Do not come here. Also did not get what I asked for at all and the nails were crooked

I was very disappointed in the services I received. I went on June 29th at 930am. I received a full set , polished toes and my lashes done. Now dont get it wrong they can do some nails and toes but my lashes came off the next day. I was so hurt cause now I have to spend another $30 to get them done over. Not to mention I was there until 1230pm. But as far as my nails it was worth it but lashes I will not be getting them again for there.

I came to Ava nails spa, a week before my wedding. I have gone to another nail salons before, but I wanted to see how good this place was. Long story short I ended up getting nail fungus(on my left ring finger & my fat toe). I got a pedicure and manicure done. Again, like I stated I’ve gone to other nails salons and getting a nail fungus has never happened until now.

Ann is amazing! She’s been doing my pedicures for about 5 years and she’s never disappointed me! I absolutely love her. I can only speak for her as far as quality of service. The salon is also very clean and sanitary.

I came in with an exact picture of what I wanted. First off, the lady kept leaving to text or go on her phone, which I didn’t have much of a problem with because I wasn’t in a rush and there might have been a family emergency. When it came time for the polish, however, she used brushes that had green and pink powder on them already without cleaning them. I left the salon with crooked nails that were the wrong color and $55 dollars down the drain. I soaked them off when I got home and did them myself.

They did awesome job. Not much of a wait. Me and my daughters nails.
