It’s really good!)- Dal Fry (the lentils - mild)- Samosas(mild/medium - they taste great. Tamarind Chutney is the only vegan dip)- Roti bread (the no butter one). Everything was delicious. Very spicy cause we got medium spice. The yogurt was so good! It helped calm down the heat. Mango lassi was great. We got garlic naan, shrimp masala (big shrimp) , butter chicken (so delicious), paneer makhani (so creamy), crispy gobi ( super crispy and full of spices), goat curry (my FAVORITE). Definitely recommend!

We had heard about Tabla for their tasty food and affordable prices and we visited here with really high hopes. But we were disappointed by the overall dine-in experience. I am sure that the restaurant was certainly focusing on to-go orders but you just cannot ignore your guests! You might be understaffed but it cannot be a reason to ignore customers for a simple request for getting water! It was very difficult to get servers attention. I definitely did not like the servers attitude towards us as we were straight away ignored for repeated calls! I really never leave a negative review but this was a bit too much for me!Please do not make simple thing as courteous service hard to get for your customers! It might eclipse the reputation of having one of the best Indian food in the town!Update : Let me emphasize that the food was really very good and the preparation time was fairly quick. I am bumping up the rating by a star which is solely due to food and quality. The management was quick to respond to the review and apologized for the inconvenience caused.

This was my first time at an Indian restaurant. I was excited to try. I had channa marsala and garlic naan. Everything was flavorful and rich. The rice was soft and fluffy. Ratheesh provided top notch service. Thank you.

They mixed rice with salan and added chicken to it & call it Biryani. Other than 🧂 🌶 no other taste.The garlic naan 🫓 they served is packaged or frozen. No taste and was kind of rubbery.To me it seems like they don’t cook food rather just assemble the pre cooked food.

Few things anger me more than completely ignoring your customer. This has now happened twice. i have repeatedly asked for MILD. Both times I was assured only to get the food to my house and nearly choke an the most extremely spicy poison I have ever tasted. Its obvious they just want to take your money throw in your order and give you whatever comes from the pot from everyone else. NEVER AGAIN. If you are used to searing and scorching spice ok else stay away from these people. They will tell you anything they can just to get your money.

One of the best Indian restaurant in North Carolina. The food is incredibly delicious and the taste is very consistent. Every item we tried on the menu is excellent. Never disappointed. We really enjoy their lunch buffet as well, especially on weekends. While everything is delicious on their menu, their biryani’s and tandoori items are a must haves. Owner is also very humble and professional. Would definitely recommend this place to everyone.

OMG, wonderful biryani and fish. But the fish in this picture is not theres. I made that fish. Their fish and lamb chops quantity is so tiny portions for the price. Take only biryani. Its not worth 3 pieces of lamb for $20. And 2 pieces of fish for $14. But biryani tastes amazing.

Nice place to dine. The taste is quite good and will be liked by majority of diners including children. The dishes were not to spicy will suit all the taste buds. I sure will recommend to all my friends and relatives and to all. Love to visit again.

Ruined my Thursday night. Ordered my food at 7:40, and it was supposed to be ready at 8:10. I ended up getting my dinner at 9:00, I literally sat there waiting for 50 minutes. The worst part was no one even apologized, and when I would ask how much longer for the food, the waiters would just ignore me and continue with business as usual. To add insult to injury, a group of girls who came in at literally the exact same time as me to dine in sat, ordered, received their food, and ate their dinner in same the amount of time it took me to just receive my food. Never again!!!

I was on the hunt for dosa. Not any dosa, but Mysore masala dosa. I was so excited to find it on Tablas menu. I also ordered goat curry and pepper chicken. Everything was tasty and my craving was satisfied. Its easy to place an order online, but dont expect curbside pickup.

I went to have the lunch special here without expecting anything. But Damm, the quantity was really good!I ordered the goat curry and it was delicious! It also came with naan(extra for garlic naan), chicken tandoori, rice and gulab jamun. Would definitely recommend going here, coz I definitely would visit here again

We ordered Paneer tikka kabab and Veg dum Biryani for pick up.Paneer tikka was like some burnt paneer without properly marinated.Also the Veg dum biryani had stale veggies and rice.I would not recommend anyone to order these two items from this restaurant.Highly disappointed.

This place looks decent. They got A grade in cleanliness... overall food quality is average.... we expected more from this restaurant based on the previous reviews.Not sure how they got so many 5 stars may be in past It was good and now the quality went down. Here are my view on food items we have tried:- chicken soup: veggie sumber with cut chicken 65 in it😜 time for them to learn how to prepare chicken h/s soup.- chicken tanguddu: lot more artificial colour.- chicken drumstick: average test but was soft.- andhra chicken curry- really missing the andhra masala.- butter naan and garlic naan- average test. Was soft.Strange thing ,,, no reaction to the onsite comment on food quality...... hope they will improve the quality... I am sure I will visit this place one more time soon and update my review. I’ve ordered here before when I lived nearby. I went back today even though it’s 30 minutes from my new address. Prior to today’s visit I thought the food was excellent. Today my sauce was watery and my rice was undercooked. The flavor was still good though. Perhaps they were having an off day.

Does not really matter a lot when your waiter lies to you on your face ! We recently had a bad experience while visiting Tabla. It all began pretty decently till we were done with the starters, which was pretty decent. The biriyanis we ordered was below average. The main bummer however came when did not receive our check and decided to go over and pay at the desk. Our waiter Ve***(not putting up the name, was in the receipt) billed us up. I asked if the tip was added and he replied with a No. The amount that popped up on the screen looked a bit on the higher side for the 5 dishes we ordered, so I asked him again, Are you sure the tip is not already added ?. He replied firmly with a No, its not. So, I went ahead and added a decent percent as the Tip as the device prompted and just entered my email Id for getting a detailed receipt in my inbox. I didnt give too much thought into it until I received my receipt at a later stage in my inbox. I had apparently tipped the waiter twice and ended up paying close to 45 % extra as tips alone ! My problem here is not the % or the amount that I paid for the pretty average service and courtesy, its the blatant lie by the waiter that is the problem. He lied to my group twice, all for a few bucks. You, sir, lost your restaurant a customer and some Goodwill with that gesture.Edit (To the Owners response): Really appreciate the reaction from your side and glad to know that corrective measures were taken from your side to make sure the incident is an one off. As I already mentioned, my primary concern was about the gesture and not the money involved and hence my friends and I are good with your response alone. As for the rating, we will update it based on our next visit :)

Great Indian food at a great price. My go to order is their $10 weekday lunch special which includes an appetizer(which can be Tandoori chicken), main dish(Tika Masala is my favorite), rice, naan bread, and dessert.

The quality of Vijayawada boneless biryani has always been excellent and the must try item is pomfret fist with rice and rasam.

While I cant share a post about the atmosphere or service inside the restaurant (I had it delivered by DoorDash), this is by far the best Indian food Ive had in the Carolinas in over 20 years of living here! I couldnt decide between garlic Naan or garlic cheese Naan, so I got them both - delicious! My jasmine rice was perfect and the absolute best chicken Tikka Masala Ive ever had! I cant wait to try more of their specialties and pay the owners a visit!

Tabla was pretty good food, that was served pretty quickly. I tried the chili chicken, the pepper goat curry, reshmi chicken was good after being paid with the cilantro chutney, and all the naans (plain, garlic,and cheese) were awesome. The chicken biryani was nothing to rave about, but the chicken in the biryani was seasoned very well. The price was decent for the quantity of food, a couple of people can easily share a dish.

If you have an Indian food itch to scratch, this restaurant will suffice in a pinch. Its sort of like if you get a bagel for your morning flight... At the airport. Because theres nothing else and it sort of reminds you of an actual salmon and cream cheese bagel... Sort of.My friends have raved about Tabla so I decided to give it a try. I ordered the chicken karahi curry. I was a bit disappointed to try this very lackluster offering.Cons:1. Chicken pieces wildly differed in size2. Tomatoes (key ingredient) didnt seem fresh3. Chunky conventional bell peppers and chunky onion??? Onion not only doesnt belong in this but the chunks were overcooked, mushy and unsettling. Made it feel like one of those cheap Chinese restaurants who use onions and bell peppers to bulk up a dish - how about ginger slices and finger chillis instead?4. The sauce / gravy was indistinguishable from any standard indian restaurant - this isnt really a knock on them but shows that theyre just churning out average, run of the mill stuff. Dont go seeking heavens doors here.Pros:1. Good portion size.2. Came with rice, though I used my own so cant speak to its taste.3. Order was ready quickly.4. Nice checkout experience online and in store.5. Theres not much else in the area.To be frank, Id rather go to Chaat N Dosa, Zauk or even Persis in Rock Hill to scratch my itch.Id recommend you try it out because a lot of my friends like it and it was PACKED with takeout order collectors ... But it just wasnt anything special to me.
