Dont come here for any type of leaks or water leaks. Go elsewhere! Had to go to dealership to fix.Reply: . You told me you guys could do it and you dropped the ball on it. . Stay away from this scandalous company. Oh and they said the run off drain thats connected to the sunroof was dirty but in fact the dealership said the run off drain in its entirety was damaged. So they had to replace the whole thing.its fixed.

The folks here couldn’t be more friendly! They definitely deserve and live up to the good reviews. They squeezed me in, despite being quite busy, for a battery replacement. Professional, knowledgeable, honest: what more could you want in an auto shop? Oh, and fair prices too! If I could give 10 stars I would.I also liked the small waiting area with coffee and TV. They quoted a price, stuck to the price, did the work on time. They were not the cheapest, but not the most expensive either.

Best car repair experience I’ve had. Both in quality of interaction and handling of repairs. I’ve always found car repair experiences a little emotionally grimy - and Gino’s is the first time I’ve felt great about the whole experience. 10/10 would return for another repair (hopefully not too soon).

**BUYER BEWARE** these guys will take great care of you. I’m not a car guy, I couldn’t tell you where the spark plugs are so whenever my truck needs work, I cringe because I feel like I’m going to get taken advantage of. Long story short, my truck’s AC stopped working, I took to the dealer and they tried charging $1,400. I said no thanks I’ll go without AC. I called Gino and he said he could do it for less than $600. I was blown away! I know getting your car fixed can be a hard experience but these guys made it pleasurable and I’ll be sure to bring my business back when needed. Just hopefully it’s not needed too soon😀

Ginos is honest, knowledgeable, and doesnt play around with your repairs! He gets the job done right the first time. His prices are pretty much the same as all other shops. I am definitely a satisfied repeat customer.

We took our SUV here for various repairs. After one of the repairs, we find there is a leak. We take it back to Gino’s and they tell us that they caused the leak and would fix it. They fixed the leak but then we bring the car home and the parking assist and garage opening system aren’t working! We took it back to Gino’s and they tell us that’s not something they can fix. I told them it was working fine before giving them the car but they were unwilling to help us. We had to take the car to the dealership for repair, which ended up being $1,200! Such a large expense that Gino’s didn’t want to help with even though they caused it!!

Ginos is always quick to work us in and up front with what needs to be done. I recently brought my car in and they found a problem from a previous repair done by another shop. They wouldnt charge me a thing for finding the issue even though I ended up getting it fixed under warranty from the other place. Ill be taking my car to Ginos first from now on.

These guys are legit.... Gino and Tony can fix anything and are honest. Which is very hard to find when it come to car repair! Have taken my cars to them for 7 plus years.

Ginos Auto Repair is one of the most amazing places I have ever been to. Super friendly and nice and willing to talk to you about any problems you are having with your car. The price is way less and very fair compared to most dealerships and they will not charge you for anything you dont need.

This is the only place I trust to take my car for repairs. They are honest, give you a fair price and its done correctly. I just took my car in for new brakes... the last set they put on I drove for over 75,000 miles. Its a family run business... Gino and Tony are brothers and their Mom, Carol helps in the office. They are wonderful people! Very kind and when I go there I know Im NOT getting ripped off and its done right!

Maybe 2 and a half stars? You be the judge. I read the reviews about them being honest and friendly people, so I thought Id pay them a visit. I like honest and I like friendly and I love supporting a small family business. The first visit I had my tires rotated and oil changed. Pretty straightforward, no complaints. Tony is a charismatic guy with a good sense of humor. Fast forward about a month and a half. I take my car back for a strange noise its making. Less than an hour later I get a call saying its all done, itll cost something like $300 to fix. I pause. Tony laughs--he got me. Well played, Tony. I laugh. The real cost is $25, he tells me I was missing two lug nuts on the rear passenger tire and thats where the noise was coming from. Scratching my head a little at this point. Back at the shop and behind the counter is, I can only assume, the mother. I mention that Id recently brought my car in to have the tires rotated and I ask if its possible the missing lug nuts werent tightened all the way and fell off. She says, No, weve been at this too long to make mistakes like that. I say, Okay but Im thinking, mistakes happen no matter how long youve been doing something. She then follows with, Maybe someone needed them. Being a realist, yes, its possible someone stole two lug nuts off of my rear passenger tire. Its also more possible that someone at Ginos finger tightened those lug nuts and forgot to follow up with a torque or impact wrench. Thinking I was supposed to feel really good about it not costing $300 and leave with a skip in my step. While $25 doesnt catapult me into poverty, for two USED lug nuts that most likely fell off after a rotation, I still have to believe I got a little scammed. But, no way to prove it either way. Next time Ill go back to King Auto on Plaza, I dont know why I didnt to begin with, and always check my lug nuts.

Worked with Tony on a couple of issues on my truck. He was very friendly and informative. He wasn’t just trying to get my money but was welcoming and did a lot of research to get me beat prices. It is so important and difficult to find a mechanic you can trust, I will be going back for sure!

I appreciate everyone there, and how its never a hard sell, or a rude mechanic pressing you to fix unnecessary things. Hi, my Infiniti 2006 m35 car low beam light stopped working. I checked with firestone and pep boys both said it will be around 200$ to fix and an appointment needed. These people really understand customer service. I had a usual mechanic i went to but had an overheating issue on the way to work. They were right down the street from my job. They inspected the vehicle found the issue (minor issue). A hose had come loose. They reconnected the hose. Added more coolant and were done in about an hour. Only charged for the inspection to find the issue. That was my 2nd time going to them. The first time they were even better. I misread their closing time and i wouldnt be off work until after they closed. They helped greatly for me to get my car that day. Wont use another mechanic. Have switched job locations and i still go out of my way to come here.

You will not find a better Auto Repair Shop in Charlotte. I went in for a overheating problem in my radiator. They found I had a cracked engine block and spent the next week working over and beyond my expectations in every way to see that I would get running again. I have never felt like I should have paid more than I was asked, for the work they did. Do yourself a favor and check them out.

Great customer service

Talk to a rude guy explained I had a leak relating to power steering pump is good may need a hose. He cuts me off and says couldnt possibly be a leak you need to replace pump.... He then gave me a drast estimate without seeing my car of $350. 🤔 Oh really you havent even seen my car and the fluid spewing from the high pressure hose couldnt possibly be a leak? I just had the pump replaced and paid $165. Thought I had a new mechanic but I must continue to look. These reviews must be from friends and locals with no knowledge of cars. Will be replacing this hose myself since my neighborhood mechanics seems to be overpriced scammers.

I recently bought a car from craigslist. I was told that the car had a speed sensor problem. I decided to bring my car into ginos after my car almost stalle on the road.I called gino and they could fit me right in. I found a few extra things wrong with the car. Gino gave a a very good price to fix everything.

These guys will never steer you wrong. They have helped me out so much and they wont cheat you out of any money.
