This was a lot of fun. We took the package with the carriage ride and the tour of the plantation.A few notes:1. Bring snacks - the lunch they give is really good for a lunch, but youre going to be out from 7am to 6pm if youre going from Myrtle Beach. Youll want more food.2. The house tour at the plantation is really about a three room tour and is limited to the first floor. This doesnt at all make the plantation not worth seeing, but dont waste the precious time at that place touring the house.3. Arrive a little bit early if youre catching the bus to Charleston from Myrtle Beach. The bus was almost EXACTLY on time and didnt really wait extra time so we could have easily missed it had we not been early.The experience is great and totally worth the money. Our guide was excellent also. Definitely recommend.

We took this trip from m Myrtle Beach to Charleston. What a fantastic day trip. Everything is planned for you while you sit back and relax. The horse and carriage ride, Barbour boat tour, the market and plantation visit was lots of fun. We did a girls day trip. There is a little bit of walking, so wear comfortable shoes. The Plantation is pretty big if you want to explore. I recommend doing this not in the dead heat of Summer if you can help it. You do spend some time outdoors.

My husband and I had a great.time.....The tour guide (bus driver) she was very nice and friendly.... Never a dull moment and she was very knowledgeable....... The Carriage Tour was very informative, and fun.... We also took the Fort Sumpter tour, visited Boone Hall Plantation, Lunch, and Shopping at the downtown Market... Overall the trip was well worth the time and money.
