I’d like to update my review: I was wrong. It was a very emotional spur of the moment thing. No, they were not responsible for my bad haircut. I was just very emotional because of a lot of different circumstances and took the cheap way out. I’d like to apologize to the owners and the barbers, especially the barber who cut my hair. Was not her fault, and they just had to work with what I had. Honestly, it is a good place to get your hair cut. I do recommend it. Again, I’m very sorry

I dont write reviews often, but Ive been coming here for a few years now, and I dont think Ive ever left disappointed. Im a regular with Heidi, and she always get my hair right. I went today after I had strayed from my norm and gotten a one-off haircut from a friend who seriously messed up my hair, but she managed to make it look even better than normal and made me enjoy my hair style again. Im super picky about getting my haircut, but I sincerely trust this place to get me right every time. I will say, I think it is a little pricier when comparing it to something like great clips, but I promise you it is worth the extra money as you wont be unsatisfied, and Id rather pay more for quality. 100% worth it.

We will never go anywhere else after our most amazing experience here. The owners (an adorable couple) are sincerely above and beyond welcoming and very genuine people. I so much enjoyed talking with the misses who was so much fun and told me all about the salon and how it came to be and she asked about us and our family. She set us up with a glass of wine and a beer at a table like we were on a little date & gave us a menu for the place next door and told us all about their wings and what dressing to get with them. We left in such a great mood. People don’t do that much anymore and it was so refreshing. Monica gave my hubby a well needed new hairstyle and shaped up his beard that was looking a bit like Santa’s beard….She did such a great job and pampered him and told him how to take care of it and joked around with him and made him feel comfortable and so relaxed. I will be getting my hair done there now as well. I am the pickiest person & never write reviews…Only if I something or someone really impresses me. I’M IMPRESSED!!! You gotta try this place cuz I promise you will not be disappointed. Can’t wait to go back

I havent been treated with such care and attention from a barber/salon in a very long time. I was visiting from out of town due to a death on my family and I happened upon the shop on my way to grab something to eat at a near by restaurant. I hadnt had a chance to get a hair cut or beard trim recently and I felt horrible giving a speech in front of family looking as I did. I stopped on to just see if they had an opening and the owner said shed find a way to get me in before the funeral. I got a confirmation less than 20 mins later that they could get me in the next morning. My stylist was not only very engaging in conversation but also very thorough and wanted to be sure I got exactly what I wanted. It was the least stressful experience I had at a barber that Ive used for the first time. I loved the results, the conversation and I would go to them as my standard place to get a cut or trim if I lived closer. Most importantly they saw the need for something to go well on a dark time in my life and did everything they could to make it a positive experience. I highly recommend them to say the least

I went to this place for a mens haircut. The employees and the facility were very nice. However the haircut was subpar and I felt like I payed to much for this service. This place is convenient since its only 5min from were I am but I rather drive another 30mins to get a quality haircut.

Just moved to chapel hill and this place happened to be less than a mile down the road. Everyone was extremely nice. Haircut came out perfect and they took the time to teach me how to style it. Will be going back :)

Great haircuts and have a beer at the same time. The place is clean friendly and I am always pleased with my haircuts. Im the type that calls in with a few days notice wanting a haircut and they usually are able to fit me in as long as I am flexible with the stlyist. I have had 3-4 stylist cut my hair and have never been disappointed

Blake was very skilled and performed a very precise scissor cut. He is detailed in his ability to blend and remove weight while preserving shape and length. Very friendly reception and helpful online appointment booking website. No waiting in honor of the appointment.

I am an adult man. I know how I like my martinis, and I know how I like my beard, so I do them both myself (extra dirty with a splash of the juice from jalapeño-stuffed olives, . . . you’re welcome). BUT, I was gifted the experience of a beard trim at Edge Aveda, and I learned something: They do it better. I’m man enough to admit that, and I’ll definitely be back. The atmosphere is modern-nostalgic, the hot towel treatment was transformative, and Bess took fantastic care of me. I guess what I’m trying to say is, my martinis are still better than yours.

Great experience. Do not plan to try anywhere else in the area.

Got a great cut from Bess-one of the best cuts I have ever had, great attention to detail and asked/advised along the way to ensure I was happy with result.

Hands down, the best mens haircut experience in the Triangle. The team is capable, courteous and thorough. Their signature service is relaxing and includes a short aromatherapy and massage session. And as far as I know theyre the only ones this side of Orange County to do a proper straight razor shave. These guys are amazing.

Recommended. Heidi is great! Bring in a picture of what you want your hair/beard to look like and shell make you as close to pretty as possible.

I love this place. The stylist are great, the location is great, and the atmosphere is awesome. I have been 2 different times both times they worked with me to get a last minute appointment and I saw 2 different people and they were both fantastic. I recommend this place to all my buddies and family members.

This was my first time at Aveda Mens today. It was easy to schedule an appointment online. The staff was very courteous and the building was very clean. My stylist, Katie, did an excellent job gauging the length, style & cut I wanted. At $30 for a high quality cut and experience, I will definitely go back in the future!

Loved it here but my favorite stylist left and Ive seen a ton of turnover which worries a customer. But for a relaxing time and a beer while you get your hair cut.....this is the right place. Friendly owners too! Just a clean and relaxing place to go

I had a hard time finding a place where I could get consistently good haircuts. Until I went here. Every time, regardless of which stylist Ive had, Ive been pleased. Highly recommend.

She didnt do a good job on my head this time she cut it too short on one side and long on the other I dont think Im going to go back again

Ive been here several times now with service from two different stylists and both were very good. They are a bit pricey but you get an extra level of service not found elsewhere in the area. Ive found the price worth the value received.

Hello, neighbors. I hesitate to post this only because I am selfish and dont want Blake to become impossible to get in to see. My son has very straight hair and as a result. If his haircut is not blended properly, every line shows. Blake at Aveda is excellent!
