I was treated like a five year old who was touching something I wasn’t supposed to. She literally smacked my hand for moving. She never spoke to me except 2 words; the rest of the time she talked to her friends… oh, she fussed at me for moving my hand when she was the one that did it. My nails are uneven, crooked, and different lengths. I won’t be going back! I will buy press on nails before I go back here. Save your money and pick a nail salon that won’t rush you through like cattle.

SAVE YOUR MONEY. Showed a picture of exactly what I wanted and expressed I wanted gel PAINT. They guy insisted on powder, I had never used powder color before and figured he knew what he was taking about. My finger nails are not even close to the color of my toes. Also said I wanted bubble gum bright - neon pink and neon green. The pink on my nails are WAY darker than my toes. AND Jenni cut my fingers TWICE. I left with my fingers so sore and bleeding. Horrible customer service and didnt even apologize! Go somewhere else!!

My daughter-in-law and I have been searching for a good pedicure since moving to AZ about a year ago with no luck. We walked into Lux Nail Bar and were taken in right away. My person was Tiffany and hers was Emily. They both did a great job, took their time on the massage and we were very pleased.i think we found our place. Yay!!

The place is good but the service was very bad. The one who did the miuncer for me wasn’t nice at all i bring a 4 colors that i like she told me choose one i told her I want to try them to see which one will suits me better she told me to but myself I didn’t pay for this service to do it myself. When I choose the color she started doing the work in the middle of work she asked me to pay. However, I paid than when she put the lotion she ask me to go to wash my hands my hands was wet and i asked for a napkin she used the same dirty napkin that she cleaned me nails with. Also she was using her phone alot while doing the work and her work is not professional at all. A nail spa should be relaxing I shouldn’t be paying in the middle of the work and it’s my first tome going to a nail spa and they asked me to go and wash my hands usually the wash it for me in the same place . I would not come to this place ever again

Variety of pretty colors to choose from. I did a walk-in and was seen immediately. Andy was professional, neat and thorough. Even though there were obvious flaws in my previous manicure, he did not comment or criticize the work of the previous manicurist. I was offered but not pushed to do any add on services, just what I requested. My only issue is that there isn’t a padding or foam while doing a manicure so my arms started getting uncomfortable but overall a good experience and I will go back again when I’m in the area. Thanks for the courteous service!

Oh my gosh. So many great things to say here. I called in as I was driving to their location for an appointment. All staff was polite. Jennie has the best artwork!No pain with the best overall experience!

I went here yesterday and got my nails done by Nina I showed her a picture of what I wanted and she did even better then the picture they look so BEAUTIFUL she was so thorough took her time was gentle funny and very nice! I’m definitely driving 40 mins just to come back to this place! I also got a pedicure and it’s been a long while since I showed my feet attention I felt bad and I laughed at my feet and she totally was able to be on my level and laugh she was so amazing and treated this pregnant momma like a Queen she is amazing and I can’t wait to come back and bring my daughter with me or hubby😂🥰🥰

I asked to have a broken nail fixed and a pedicure. The mail hurt and was hanging on by a thread so it was the priority and I showed the woman who greeted me at the door. I ask the tech giving the pedicure if someone was going to fix my nail and she waited until after my pedicure with Luke warm water was finished to tell me the nail tech had left. I asked her about the nail before people started leaving. I’m here on business and needed this fixed TODAY. Worst experience ever

I’ve been looking for a new nail shop ever since my nail place got new management! And I’ve found it! Shoutout to Andy who did a great job on my French tip nails and I love the shape! Everyone was so friendly. He took his time but wasn’t slow. I loved how he explained why he did certain things and discussed the health of my real nails. The place inside is gorgeous and so modern, I have to take pics inside next time! Def recommend this place!

Andy did my SNS powder dip nails. He did a great job. He is very detailed and clean! He sanitized after my appointment. He also was very pleasant. I would come back if I lived closer!

I used to go to this place all of the time and never had a problem until my last visit with my husband. We both got basic pedicures with the sugar scrub added on so to my understanding it was going to be $30 for each so total of $60. The total ended up being $66 and I just paid it without asking why it’s so much and that’s my fault. My husbands toes also got infected. I don’t know what happened to this place but we will definitely be making the drive to paradise valley to our old salon!

Went in to get a pedicure. Tracy sat down to do them and rushed through the entire thing. She was so rough and didn’t paint my entire nail or entirely remove the old nail polish and the nail polish is streaky. I have come here many times and this is the worst I have ever been treated. I will not be having Tracy do my nails ever again.

If I didn’t come to Arizona on vacation, I would have went back. My husband says they look like toe nails!

My experience was not a pleasant one. I went to get my nails done and I forgot the women’s name but she filed my skin constantly and I kept telling her and she just told me that’s how it is sometimes and made me bleed. Maybe it’s because they were in a rush as it was close to closing time but a day after my nails are hurting as well as the skin around my nails. I will not be coming back .

Cam did an amazing job on my nails!!! They were done before i came in and i hated the ones i had before. They were awful. (From a different shop). And i came here, i will definitely be coming back!!!! Awesome value too!

It was uncomfortable. The nail tech didnt talk to me at all. Just two questions. Shorter? and square or round? She carried on a conversation with the tech next to her in Vietnamese for the entire time I sat there. I almost felt like I was intruding on her day. Price was okay but Not going back.

Just had the worst experience ever. Gel color was messy around the edges of my fingers. I can do a better job by myself at home. Other lady that did my gel pidicure took a big chunk of skin off of my baby toe and it was bleeding a lot and the nail color was messy as well. She also botched cutting my toe nail. Gross. Wont be back. Beautiful building but looks can be deceiving. I just dont understand how you can do this for a living and do such a horrible job at it. there was no pride in what they were doing. they didnt care at all if it came out looking good or not. No apology for cutting my foot open.

I went today and I got a very beautiful, good job. Got what I was expecting. My pedi and fullset acrylic ombre nails.

I got a full set of acrylic nails done here. The nail prep was on point and just enough to remove the shine and not damage my natural nail. The technician was gentle. I give 3 stars because the person at checkout pushed me to give a cash tip. I was unable to do that but this employee pointed at the free standing ATM in the lobby and said next time I should use that. Sorry, because of that, there wont be a next time.

Tom & Vicky (owners) are top notch. Kids and better half come here as often as needed. So good I almost didnt want to write this honest review to keep this place a secret. Bring cash for well deserved tip. Five stars and two thumbs up.

The salon is clean and well kept. Everyone was nice and professional. The chairs are still new and the massage was good. I was mostly impressed by the fact that we were walk ins 2 days before Christmas and they had so many people on staff they got us right in with no trouble. Kudos to management.

I got a purple gel nail polish and same color regular nail polish fir my toes. My gel nail polish turned brown the next day.

While visiting AZ this weekend, I was in need of a pedi/fill so I ended up at Lux Nail Bar and Im so glad I did. Titi started me off with the most relaxing pedicure...she did an amazing job. I then sat down with Cam who did my fill and eyebrows...again...absolutely pleased. If I lived here, hands down..this would be my spot. Great job to the staff and owners of this establishment..

I have been a regular for 3 years now, travel 30min, and have never had an issue :) The owners are friendly and engaging. Of course some nail techs are better than others, but I have never had a problem with paint chipping or lifting, acrylics breaking easily, or horrible pedicures. I LOVE THIS PLACE!

Extremely clean for a studio of this size. Owners are accommodating. Techs are well versed in various techniques. I have a few Techs who are favorites (Nina, Vickie, and Lynn).

I love coming with my mom here. Not just do the women offer wonderful skill, they all are sweethearts. Their rates are reasonable and they do not try to push additional treatments down the throat. I would recommend this salon happily to all friends.

I have lived in the valley for almost 35 years and this place is the best - they are friendly, meticulous and I am always able to get in without an apt. And their pedicure services surpass anywhere else.I wasn’t a fan of the dip/powder but tried here and don’t think I will have my nails done any other way.

Steven is my go to man! I am VERY particular and high maintenance when it comes to my nails and he is very good. He’s been doing nails for a long time and it shows. He always gives me what I ask for and is very nice. Been over two years now and I won’t go anywhere else.

It is always clean, the service is great, the staff kind and professional and the experience always enjoyable and they typically run on time, when you make an appointment.Please note I do not wear artificial nails and only get a pedicure and a manicure.The VIP pedicure is fantastic!

I had sns on my natural nails which had a good amount of length to them with a square shape. The nail tech asked if I would like to trim them and I said yes... she took off all the length and gave them a round shape. Normally a trim on your nails is just taking off the length that has grown out since you got your nails done last not all the length resulting in your nails looking like stubs. She was about to put the gel polish on them when I noticed none of my nails had an even file to them... a different nail tech had to file them and theyre still are not even. The atmosphere was wonderful, and everyone was very nice, but I worked hard on growing my natural nails to the length they were and having them chopped off was extremely disappointing. If you want nails youll be happy with this is not the place to go.

I received a pedicure. Im not from the area, and I came in for a wedding and was in desperate need for work on my feet! I took a gamble with this place and won! The place is really clean and bright, staff were kind, gentle and considerate. Price was great too; a deluxe pedicure cost only $40. It included great massage, sugar scrub, calluse removal, and intense moisturizing and steam in addition to a polish. Definitely recommend!

My first visit with Becky was great!! The second time I took my 5yr old granddaughter to have her nails painted as a Christmas gift. The very next day her polish began peeling off NOT chippingLiterally peeling off each nail. Since I spent over $100 on the two of us I felt it warranted a phone call and possibly a credit toward my next visit.She insisted this happens with the kids sometimes. Well it never happened at any other salon shes gone to. The lady would not give me a credit toward my next visit and offered to re-do my granddaughter. Cmon it was a special holiday treat gone bad. Not taking her back and Im not going back either. :((

I just moved here from Los Angeles and I decided to try out this place because it sounded like a good place. The woman who did my nails did not greet me or ask what I wanted she was just told I was there for a full set. All she said to me was what color? Apart from the not so friendly looks the attitude was what put me off. After she started putting in the acrylics I asked if she could do a coffin shape. She said oh u should have told me before. 1: she didnt ask me what I wanted 2: to my knowledge the shape can be changed at the point she was at. After an awkward 45 min of being there she charged me $43.00 for a full set. if she would have been polite I wouldnt have minded the 43 but she made it uncomfortable and awkward. Not to mention everyone else was getting treated nicely and with manners. Must be because I look a certain way. Nonetheless I wont be going back. I wish I could have gotten her name but she wasnt wearing her name tag. I gave this place two stars because the man in front was nice and the place looks nice

In the past, Jenny has done my nails and has always done an excellent job. Today I went in for a fill and Steven did them. Never again. It was so rushed, I wasnt even there for 30 minutes, and there was no conversation. It was a fight from shape to color. After basically having to beg for the shape I wanted, I had to continuously ask him to get the sides/corners of my nails with color. I will return to Lux, but only because the ladies do an amazing job. Just dont let Steven help you.

I dont go anywhere else to get my nails done. Micheal is my favorite, it takes more time but hes a perfectionist and goes the extra mile. Cam, Becky and Lynn are also fantastic. Every time I come here, its a great experience.

If I could give less than a one star I absolutely would. I made the mistake of coming here over the weekend because I needed to get my nails done last minute for the holiday and the place I normally go was closed (again reasonably for the holiday) I made an appointment here the day before to make sure they had room as I know they would be packed before Christmas.Walking in the salon is nice and clean so I had high hopes for this place.My nail tech was Steven and right off the bat he was very rude and harsh. About a year ago I lost most of my finger tip in an accident and the nail has grown in differently and that particular finger is extremely sensitive to pressure and filing so much so I ask that they just paint it nothing else. Steven told me that they only way to remove the previous polish was to file it off, I have NEVER had an issue with just soaking the polish off with acetone and Steven refused to accommodate and was very rough in handling that hand.The acrylics and paint where horrible and sloppy. The full set costs $50, and was not nearly worth it.I went back the next day to have it fixed, Steven filed the sides down and threw a clear coat on. The clear coat spread and the side of my nails where now exposed as he did not bother to repaint. To top it off he was again very rude and clearly annoyed I was asking him to fix.I called and spoke to Tom he was nice however advised they do not do refunds and it is policy that the same tech re-dos the mistake. Needless to say I went to my normal salon and they where shocked at how horribly my nails where done.Expensive lesson learned. Never coming back.

We have been visiting from Canada for 1 month now, enjoying everything Arizona has to offer. I decided I needed a nail fill. ...My husband and I were at Costco and I noticed Lux Nail Bar on our way out so I decided to pop in.....BIG MISTAKE! I walked in, explained what I wanted to a female. She said they had time (one customer) , I asked the price, she then called over a male, he looked at my nails and said $33.00. I said great and went to tell my husband to pick me up in 1 hr. I went back in and a lady said you have ombré, I said yes. She said he does a great job. He I believe was Steven...the same male who looked at my nails and said 33.00. He then says 55.00! I said no you told me 33.00. He then said that is just for these colours. I said fine and picked a colour for 33.00. He starts working on my nails making critical remarks about how they were done in Canada. ( I have been having my nails done for a long time). I defended our nail technicians and he started to back track on what he was saying. He then told me that I had to pick a colour from a different batch of colours...what?? you said the other ones were for 33.00! He said no, these ones. There was not a nice colour to be had. He left a big chunk of old nail at the end....I was like ,what is this? He said we do things different then Canada....they looked horrendous! I said what do I owe you ,he said nothing and I walked out. My nails look horrendous but I am going to wait until I get home. I dont think they will last long in business with this type of customer service. Very sad.

If I could rate this place 0 stars I would. Absolute horrible service and disrespectful. Their machine was down so they made me go take out cash from target which cost me extra to use my card at the ATM when this was supposed to be a gift and the visa gift card I had didnt work. In a business if you know the debit machine is down you need to tell your customer ahead of time so they can decide if they want to go ahead with the service. The nails looked as if a child did them! They rushed me throughout my entire service and made me feel uncomfortable. I will NEVER recommend this place to anyone!!!!!

First visit for pedicure and loved the decor and service. Very friendly and caring.........they even use liners in the foot stations to ensure your health and hygiene........love this place!

Sam did my pedicure. She took time to make sure it looked nice and paid attention to detail. Steven did my manicure and it seemed like he hates his job. Never smiled, seemed to be in a rush, wasnt very gentle when pulling my hands. I wouldnt go there again. My main pedi is just ok.

No stars. Every time I go there I am rushed to pick a color, Im not asked questions like is this the right color for you, would you like a design, etc...not very friendly staff, and they are always sick when doing my nails. I was just in yesterday with my mother treating her out and we did not have a great experience. They didnt let us see more color choices for our nails. I asked the lady doing my nails what she thought about how I should do my nails with the idea I presented her and she shouted out, whatever, its whatever..... I was upset. This was my last time going here.

My husband and I walked in for pedicures abd were greated instantly and didnt have to wait long as walk ins. It was one of the best pedicures Ive ever had! Super friendly, very clean and the decor was beautiful.

Went here for the first time over christmas. Stopped in on a friday morning @ 11am. Only a couple people in there. I sat at the bar, very attentive. Easier to understand than most places I go. Will go back

I believe MMA was used to do my acrylics. My nails were sore for days and the removal is extremely painful. I also am experiencing crowns and nail breakage. And the worst part, this is was my first time getting acrylics. Its safe to say I wont be getting them ever again. Steven did my ombre nails, although they were cute, it wasn´t worth the nail damage. He was also very rude and rough. My cuticle was drilled numerous times.

I decided to venture out and try Lux Nail bar because I had been hearing so many great things about them. Well I went 2 weeks ago today and got a SNS dip powder Mani & a pedi. They looked great. The customer service could have been a bit better.. Well, a few days ago the powder started lifting! I have been getting SNS dip for well over a year now. My nails are long & very healthy. I have gone a little over a month without getting a new dip mani and this never happened.

They dont have the nail color you want. They charge you and perform services without asking. There pedicures are mediocre no matter which you choose. They take 2 hours to do basic full set.

Very beautiful salon, the naol techs are dressed beautifully and are very up to datr one the latest processes. Best manicure pedi ure ive ad in years.

Horrrrrrific.Do not ask for Sam.Ask for an experienced nail tech.The shape of my nails (after showing her MANY pictures) turned out horrrrrrrible.She used nail clippers, NAIL CLIPPERS to try and shape them.I just called the owner, no im sorry, no my apologies....Just Oh okay you come back in we look and fix.Seriously.If you have long nails and like them shaped a certain way. DONT COME HERE.Sadly i will no longer be coming back. Thanks for wasting my time and money.

Had a horrible experience. Im trying to gauge whether my expectations were too high or this salon just sucked. The woman filed my toe nails quite roughly, and missed several times, filing the skin around my toe nails with the nail file. She wasn’t being gentle at all with all the utensils and hurting me to the point where I had to stop her multiple times. The customer service was terrible. Lots of talking, giggling and whispering during the pedicure amongst the employees. I would not go back or recommend the place.

It was an alright pedi but Ive gotten way better ones in not as nice looking places. This one is fancy on the inside but the pedi felt rushed (less than 30 mins). Im big on the massage too. I like when they take their time and this salon does both legs at the same time in a very rushed manner...I couldnt relax. Boo

I think Michaels the owner cause hes probably the only one in there that cares about the customers. My experience felt rushed & my nail tech Becky was either off or going to lunch. & Steven the other nail tech that did my friends nails wasnt professional at all.We walked in & Michael told us to look for a polish. while were deciding Steven comes up to us. Doesnt greet Us but tells us we can sit in the waiting room. Super rude.Michael comes back up to us & takes us to the bar.We sit & they get started.They start doing our nails & once I ask for an almond shape, beckys whole attitude changes. She also doesnt tell me it would be extra, I didnt mind regardless, but it would of been nice to know.She is so rough. & moving so fast. She cuts me 4 times!She sees that she has cut me & doesnt say sorry or even acknowledge that shes being to rough. After the service is done. She takes her phone & walks to the back. Doesnt ask me how my nails look or anything of that nature. Which I feel is crucial in the beauty industry.Steven is dealing with allergies or a cold & coughing all over my friend. Even though hes wearing a mask, its still gross.He also decides to flirt with another customer who I assume is a regular there.My nails look horrible. My thumb nail is crooked as well as my pointing finger & my pinky nails arent even. So, my advice... Unless Michael is doing your nails, dont go here. Seriously.

Not impressed. Interesting set up with the nail bar. You literally sit up to a bar side by side with people. Came for a fill, and as I work with children I had a little wear and tear. The tech looked disgusted at my nails and asked what happened. He then filled my nails and didnt file properly, leaving it so you could see where my nails had grown out and he had filled it in. There were spots where it was lifting and just all around a mess. When it was all said and done, I paid what I would have paid for a new full set anywhere else. I couldnt begin to explain to him all the issues, and he left me sore with how rough he was with the Dremel, so I didnt want him to touch my nails anymore. Never coming back.
