I would not recommend staying here as there safety precautions are not up to par whatsoever. I stayed here last night with my two young sons. The front staff were friendly but security was horrible. I woke up in the middle of the night to a man trying to kick my door in for more than 20 minutes I feared this man would get thru that door and who knows what would have happened. I called the front desk when I was woken up by a man screaming and cussing thru the halls. They said they’d send security up and then this guy proceeded to look under my door and yell extremely obscene things and started to try and kick my door down while wiggling the door handle trying to get in. I called the hotel staff again and begged for security to hurry up. Security got up there and did absolutely nothing. I had to call the police because the hotel staff or security did not. I looked out the peep hole and all the security did was record him trying to kick my door in until the police came and had to arrest him.Security should have handled this and didn’t. Safety should be taken seriously and it wasn’t. I would never ever want someone to experience the terror my children and I felt last night.

Hotel is conveniently located near freeway in chandler. We arrived late by 1 Am by then the doors were locked and no instructions on what to do, by chance we checked the Fairfield reception which is attached to the courtyard Marriott but in the adjacent building, she was able to check us in. Had we not knocked that door we would’ve slept in the car that night. Room was spacious and I presumed it’s clean but the towels had a mild grayish tint which should be because it’s unclean or old.Shower room had a slippery floor you need to be careful.Breakfast is free and had a good spread.

Positive: Close to my family who we visited. Breakfast When I called asking for something staff responded quickly. Negative: Wasnt told about asking for maid service. Should put a reminder on inside of door. Pillows too flat. Buy new pillows...

Love this place! Got a weekend room for $85 / night. Check-in 3 p, check out noon - perfect and accommodating hours for people traveling. Comfy king bed, modern furniture and pull out bed couch. Clean accomodations, structurally sound. The hot tub was the best i have ever been in - perfect heat and perfect pressure from jets; definitely well maintained! Front desk service was fast and friendly!

I have stayed here several times. This Courtyard sets the bar for others. Juliette the bartender at the Bistro was phenomenal. The experience and service that she provides is second to none. I will continue to stay at this Courtyard. Thanks for reading.

I’m honestly very annoyed that I even have to write this review. My husband I recently stayed here and we informed a man at the front desk named Brandon I believe that we will be checking out late to sleep in a bit longer. Brandon apparently forgot to relay that to housekeeping which resulting in housekeeping coming in and waking us up. Another incident that made me feel extremely uncomfortable is that I also overheard the same front desk guy talking down to female employee. I could tell she felt uncomfortable which in return made me feel uncomfortable. The rest of our stay was okay but these incidents truly resonated with me. As someone who worked in customer service, I can say that the front desk is one of the most important positions and needs to be aware of what they are doing and saying at all times because customers are always around.

Cleaning staff is very loud, very early in the morning. They also tried to access our room at 8am while we were sleeping. It was our check out day, but check out is at 11. Our room was next to a maintenance closet that was accessed at all hours of the night/day. Bottom line is I paid money to get good rest and I didn’t get that. There is no safe in the room and the layout is not functional. Pool is small and dark in the evening. However, the breakfast was quite good compared to IHG hotels.

Arrived and was allowed to check in early plus. Minus for trash left in trash can(soda cans) minus air conditioner didnt work. Plus even though they couldnt fix it,gheymoved us next door it was way cleaner & air worked , a must in that area. Beautiful & clean. Minus for only 1 ice machine working (said were in process of changing them all) minus for pool & breakfast being next-door. All in all would stay again great place for great price

The actual hotel is fine. Brandon was pleasant. Staff was helpful. Check-in was different. No acknowledgement of our status, upgrade offer or typical niceties (Welcome gift), offered in past stays. Is this all about Covid or the new way Marriott is working? Its not clear.

Horrible experience. No internet access in my room, TV didn’t work (maintenance said it needed a new telephone cord but never came back to replace it). Second day, the steam from the shower set off the smoke alarm and afterwards they deactivated my key. Finally, on my final night i was hoping to get a few hours of sleep before leaving on the red eye back to the east coast and when entering my room…..all my things were gone! Someone packed up all my things and took almost everything. I went to the lobby to tell them my room was robbed. They said they had all my belongings behind the front desk but didn’t know why because their system showed I wasn’t checking out until the following day. They put me in a new room because I was so shaken ( thinking I had been robbed) and said they were going to put points on my account as an apology, which they haven’t done either. Needless to say, I will never stay there again.

My husband is an Elite Gold Marriott member so we are very used to staying at various Marriott properties and the level of cleanliness and standards. This hotel was the exception. It started with arriving and the computer systems just went down, we were in the car for 5 hours before arriving so definitely wanted to get to our room (we waited about 30 minutes and finally were able to check in at the adjoining Fairfield Inn) . This is something out of everyones control but just started the dissatisfaction. Upon getting to our room there were a few things that I feel are worth mentioning. The carpet is pulling away from the wall next to the bed, the hinge is broken on the cabinet for the refrigerator so it wouldnt close. When looking out the window, you can see lighters and cigarette butts on the overhang, it appears that people must be opening the window and smoking. There is mold in the shower. Also, the Fairfield had trash laying on the couches in the lobby area and the trash can outside the Courtyard was very full all weekend. It is just disappointing when you expect a certain level of cleanliness. One final note, our room was cleaned on Saturday but not on Sunday. I asked about it when checking out today and was told because of Covid that we had to tell someone to clean our room. I never told anyone to clean it on Saturday. I feel that you should have communication in some form, at check in or in the room about housekeeping services.

I’m updating my review on the day of my checkout. 6/2/2021. I checked in 5/31/2021. Horrible customer service. Checking in I was argued with Justin R about my service dog. Justin started to get sour about my service dog and charged me 75$ for it. Continued to argue about my medical condition saying dogs can’t be serviced for it. Checking out I was speaking to a nice Lady behind the desk and I asked about the fee and she was going to handle the mistake, Justin R then walks around the corner of the lobby and instantly started yelling about how my dog is not serviced because he doesn’t believe in my medical condition. I will never be returning and Justin R. will definitely be getting a call from a lawyer. Corporate has been contacted regarding HEPA laws.

No safe in the room, which was incredibly disappointing and something I look for when traveling. Everything beyond the lobby seemed kind of rundown compared to other more renovated courtyards Ive stayed at. The fitness center was a little sad with one machine, a couple treadmills, and a very small weight selection but serviceable for hotel workout. The location is pretty great all things considered.

The staff was very friendly and supportive of my needs. Everyone went above and beyond my request. The area was always clean, the staff constantly made sure my stay was comfortable. As a travel nurse I was really blessed to find such a wonderful place to stay away from home.

Great location right off the 202/San Tan Freeway. The staff is courteous and helpful. The property is well maintained and the rooms are nicely appointed. There is a bit of noise from the 202. This is one of my regular stays.

Positive: The room was very nice and you couldn¿t hear the highway down below. Negative: They closed the Marriott pool and only had Fairfield open, which was dirty. Hot tub wasn¿t hot. Request for towels never answered and multiple calls day two required me to get them. Need digital check in/out and room request. Tv didn¿t work right.

The staff is great and its very clean and my dog loves it.

Check in was quick and friendly. The woman who took care of us made sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Very clean facility and comfy beds. Would recommend to anyone traveling to Chadler!

Its a classy joint. The help seems friendly and the public areas clean sterile and designed with thought. But I saw everyone with masks on employees and customers. Felt like I was at sheeple hell. The parking lot is full by the end of the day. The pool looks small. They had a laundry room too. Plus conference rooms multiple size rooms too. Kool bar that looked like a coffee joint. Smelled good it was a bar and restaurant. Sweet. Seemed a crowd picked up as the evening rolled along. Thats good because the location of this joint is next to the freeway so its easy to find. But nothing around but corporate business to the south, freeway to the north but passed that full-size mall with plenty of stores and restaurants around too. Private areas to watch tv or have conversations or be alone huge lobby area as well. I think it worth its value. Well if youre there for a good rest you safe here.Enjoy

Ive booked at this hotel several times. The staff has always been pleasant. The rates are typically really reasonable and the rooms are clean. However, my last stay was not as pleasant. There was NO hot water. I was not offered a price adjustment nor did I ask for one. But I think hot water is pretty important for a hotel stay.

Room was great very clean and tidy common areas were also very clean and well maintained. Very pleased with motel in general. Staff very courteous and polite. Need better pillows they were to soft. But only real problem was that there were kids going in and out of rooms slamming doors running and yelling up and down hallways and right below our window up until around 1130pm. There was a huge gathering of adults and children in the lobby area and very few of the guests were wearing masks or practicing safe distancing or covid precautions. There was a strong smell of marijuana in the hallway from the elevator to our room on our floor.Overall I would gladly stay at this motel again but will be asking if they have any events or something going on 1st.We were planning to have a nice relaxing get- away for my birthday but it was not as relaxing as planned.

Amazing hotel so far! The lobby was so fun and inviting. The room is also big and spacious with two queens, sitting area, mini fridge and microwave. Even has a bistro and starbucks in the lobby.

The hotel itself was nice and clean. The lady handing out breakfast a couple days ago was about as rude as they come. I havent seen too many hotel employees with as bad of an attitude as this lady and Ive seen a lot of hotels.

I was incredibly disappointed with the stay at the Courtyard Marriott in Chandler Arizona. I booked the reservation months in advance for my wedding because it was close to my venue. When it came time to stay there, even though we all used the same wedding code to check in, we were not given rooms in close proximity to each other. That was the greatest disappointment of all - all of us were spread so far apart. I understand that it was a busy weekend and that many sports teams came to stay as well, but why would we not be placed on a floor where we could all be together? I even told the associate at the front desk I didnt mind which floor we were put on. My husband and I were offered an upgraded suite in our contract, but unfortunately we werent told ahead of time that the suites are at the Fairfield adjoining the Courtyard and not the Courtyard itself. By the time we were offered to switch rooms we were frustrated because we would have just moved everyone to the Fairfield instead so we could all be together, though Im not sure the experience there would have been much better. When we went into our room the sofa seemed rather worn and frayed. When we went to breakfast there were incredibly limited options and we decided just to DoorDash instead. Many of our keycards stopped working - my maid of honor left our reception early to put her daughter to bed and couldnt even get into her room because once her key card stopped working, because it was under her husbands name, they wouldnt allow her in the room. She had to wait for at least half an hour for her husband to leave our reception to arrive and let her into the room.This was a very disappointing experience, especially considering that we paid more here than we would have at the Drury across the street, and considering the fact that it was our wedding weekend. I had done everything right - planned ahead, talked to the manager to extend our deadline so that I could make sure my guests reserved in time. Overall just a very frustrating experience.

My stay at the courtyard by Marriott was great, my wife and I had a restful night there. The breakfast wasnt great because of co-vid the grab and go isnt the same as the continental breakfast but safety outweighs my stomach.

Negative: Shower was full of hair and soap, probably because it was completely clogged up. Pillows were terrible. Very small comforters for queen size beds and they were thin and worn. Breakfast stops at 8:30, who gets up on vacation before 8:30 with teenage kids?

Negative: Toilet clogged at about 10pm and was told they have no maintenance at night. So we had to pack everything and move to new room. Also, only 1 trash can for the bathroom. None for room. Also, waited 30 min for them to look for luggage cart, never got one.

Stayed here for 2 nights. Desk clerk was friendly and helpful. Once up in the room, it was very clean and beautiful room. The only thing i would say as a slight negative... Which is probably just a personal preference. I wish the fridge was slightly bigger. Seemed smaller than some other hotels that Ive stayed at. But overall experience. I would give it the full 5 stars and would go there again. Would recommend to anybody looking.

Was disappointed when I open pull out couch for my daughter to sleep on and there was not any bedding. When I finally got ahold of someone they told me I had to come to Fairfield inn front desk to get bedding. Bed should of already been made. I suggest you have bedding in room at a minimum. Room was very dusty and hair was on desk.

Dirty and sloppy hotel. Key entry security door only locked once in 4 days. Old worn out mattress. Trash in hallways and parking lot. No coffee cups in room even after requesting. Not Marriott standards at all.

1. Had four parties who booked a total of 16 nights so we could have a Celebration of Life for a loved one.2. There was no front desk staff at this hotel, only at the adjacent hotel. This Courtyard side felt abandoned. The lobby bar tables had not been dusted off for quite some time. There was no hand sanitizer stations as the ads boast. For several nights, a youth hockey team overtook the lobby and common area literally playing hockey, hanging from the drapes and jumping off the furniture while their parents just socialized and sat at a table with fifths of hard liquor. None of the families were wearing masks!!! A front desk attendant in the hotel would have ensured the common space was enjoyable for all guests.3. Rooms were never scheduled to be cleaned so we had to request it. Upon request the rooms were still not cleaned. Guests had to go to the adjacent hotel’s front desk to retrieve their own towels, toiletries and even toilet paper. We were told on January 1 that all cleaning staff was given the day off.4. Trash cans were never emptied for days at a time...so full that we actually had to go outside to be able put trash in a trash can.5. The lobby bathrooms were truly gross...there was actually poop fingerprints in one of the women’s stalls for 4 days...it was still there when we left! The other stalls were clogged with yucky stuff for days.6. One of our rooms had cockroaches. We have photos. They not only didn’t offer a new room to this party, but they DID NOT EVEN CLEAN THE ROOM after learning of the disgusting infestation. The front desk clerk stated that, “Arizona is the desert and there are animals here.”7. The general manager, Brian Sealy, never called us back. Not once, after numerous messages and we found out he was working in the hotel one of the days we were trying to reach him. The assistant manager, Patty Olbert, answered calls but lied saying that the Marriott only cleans rooms once every 7 days.This stay was a disaster! We were stuck because we all had made our reservations via different travel providers amd they were package deals including airfare.There is no way the “superb” rating I saw on Hotels.com was relevant to this hotel but must be for the other Marriott just two blocks up the street on Price Road. We have yet to hear from Brian Sealy too! Come on, you guys can do better!!! I will be reaching out to the hotel management company CEO, Mr. Joe Bogatay, this week. Don’t stay here, whatever you do!!!!

Front desk service is subpar. Ive called down numerous of times and the calls are unanswered. Im staying on the courtyard side and during the pandemic theyve integrated front desks on the Fairfield side. Extremely inconvenient to have to keep going downstairs to inquire something. I was unable to use facilities such as the firepit and gym. Its the middle of winter and when I requested to use it I was advised they dont turn it on during this time usually. What does that even mean? Ive been here 3nights and Ive yet to see it used. As an individual visiting from out of town with a time difference, I find it inconvenient that the gym doesnt open until 9am....I live on the east coast that is a 2-3hr difference depending on the season and by 11am my day is already rolling. The gentleman with the gauged ears however was beyond pleasant and very accommodating.

It’s a nice, simple hotel with great staff, yummy breakfasts on the courtyard side (the attached Fairfield buffet was below average, so eat in the courtyard part) and several nice open seating areas around the lobby and outdoors. Close to the highway. Very clean. Everything worked in our room. Business center is in the open and has too many distractions to be useful for work. Better place for relaxing with friends or family.

Excellent place! Clean and cute decor. Room was a really good size. Included TV, microwave, fridge, coffee, alarm clock, iron and hair dryer. No USB plugs, only regular prong plugs. Got a room with only a shower. It was nice, large and hot, but had a rain shower type head, so not a lot of pressure. Bathroom Had a small magnifying make up mirror which was nice as well. Also had a large almost full length mirror, I greatly appreciate those :)Bed was on the firmer side but was still comfy. It had some bounce to it. Not like sleeping on a cement slab like some other places Ive recently stayed. I saw they had foam pillows available by request as well, however, I brought my own lol. Small bistro restaurant downstairs had breakfast available for purchase. Was fast and pretty tasty. Just like some breakfast sandwiches, frenchtoast, and such. Coffee was good. At night it turned into a bar area which was also friendly and nice to be right downstairs. I didnt get to visit the pool but saw others enjoying it. There is a fitness room, but I also didnt visit that. Hotel provides wifi. Location was good for where I was going in Chandler. Price was... decent. I went on a busy weekend so it was a little higher than Id like to have paid for one night. But was really nice, a place I would bring the family in the future.

Just wished that the Starbucks downstairs were open... but with the pandemic, I was very agreeable.

This courtyard is far better than Portland . The room is clean and roomy. Location is convenient assess from highway. One thing to be cautious is the shower room floor is kind of wet .. please be careful when you step into as you may slip! Overall food in the restaurant is really great.. very attentive service and lobby was large and you can sit and relax. A fire pit outside and you can sit to enjoy in the cool night.

Not clean. Bathroom mirror dirty and a.c. had to stay on constantly in order to stay cool. Needs better cleaning and a.c. maintenance. Only 2 towels and 2 wash clothes smh. Better deal across the street at Drury Inn.

I really enjoyed my stay here the location was bomb it’s close to a lot of different location in Arizona. Also close to downtown chandler which is really cool to stop by and site see. Also this area is up and coming so probably in the next few years there will be more restaurants and business added for walking distance. Great thing the tv has Netflix I thought this was awesome. Also loved the view from my room and the patio outside. Just honestly sat out there for a few hours and took in the mountains. Also food and drinks there are bomb. I had the chicken and bacon quesadilla was amazing and I had the whiskey ginger beer I forgot what it was called but it was made perfect. Thank you courtyard for the hospitality!

This location has a Greta view of the desert! At sunset, if you set on the back patio, you will not be disappointed! The rooms are modern and clean! Very comfy! I would recommend this for a weekend getaway or business, either will find this location perfect!The bistro is nice for a late meal and drinks. I found I didnt need to go out to a bar elsewhere to have a couple beers. They had a good selection of beer and could make most drinks at the bar here.

I came to the Marriott to not only stay but to put on a two day training for my team at Pella had the best experience I have ever had at the Marriot! The service was exceptional at all times, and the associates went out of their way to ensure that our training was successful. From running to target to get us the tools we needed to present, to making sure we had food and beverages all day, and simply just to check on us throughout each day! I truly appreciated all of the time, effort, and positive energy they put into working with us!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!

Excellent stay at the Courtyard Chandler / Fashion Center! The staff are all incredible and very friendly! The rooms are all very up to date and look brand new. The location is great for getting to anywhere in Chandler. I will be back here the next time I travel here on business or personal! Highly recommended! Also, do yourself a favor and eat breakfast at their Bistro... Great perfect portion plates, all fresh, and super fast! They serve Starbucks as well which is always a plus!

Always personable service. A very clean and welcoming environment. I have stayed here a dozen times with no complaints. Make sure to get a bite to eat in the bistro.

Friendly staff, courteous service and comfortable beds. The amenities are nice, too. I only have one knock...location is not the best. Shopping is in the opposite direction and theres a lot of traffic that impedes how you exit and enter the location. Other than that, it was nice.

The hotel location and staff was great. I just had to request that my room be refreshed everyday and clean towels be replaced every day. I have never had to request that before at any other hotel.

Overall, I really enjoyed my stay at the Courtyard in Chandler, AZ. I was tired from my previous assignment and was being placed to a New location. My check in was quick and pleasant. The attendant thanked me for being an elite member. I also had to go downstairs for a bowl, spoon and fork and the Night attendant was just as pleasant and accommodating. I had a great experience at this location and would definitely be returning after my next assignment when in this area again. Thank You Marriott for another great Nights stay!! Jennifer was great! she worked a the Bistro in the lobby area. She was very polite and professional and above all incredibly understanding. I went down to the bistro to get breakfast only to find that I missed the breakfast hours by about 15 mins. Jennifer went out of her way to turn back on the oven, let me know what was still available to order and was nice enough to take time and make some breakfast sandwiches. All with a wonderful smile. Thank you Jennifer , thank you courtyard staff. every one was spectacular!

They may tell you when you make your reservation that you will get breakfast. But you don’t, it’s only for the Fairfield side. Pretty stupid since your all a Marriott. Don’t stay if you don’t have to. We were there for a family wedding. So the half that booked on the Fairfield side got breakfast but the half that booked the courtyard side didn’t.

The Courtyard provides a very modern feel and rooms are pleasantly appointed with all modern furniture, TV and fast wifi speeds. Courtyard will also provide you with any toiletry items that you may have forgotten to pack. All staff at this Courtyard in Chandler are friendly and helpful. Parking is plentiful and the hotel is located right off the 202 East and the 101 South freeways making it very convenient to get out and visit local malls or other attractions. All of this at a very reasonable and competitive price especially if you have a good negotiated rate with your employer.

The Courtyard Phoenix Chandler/Fashion Center is one of those great finds for a weekend get away. Having access to a shuttle to the mall takes the worry out of having to find parking or fighting traffic. The bistro while having a friendly staff offers bar food which is ok but if you want a dining experience it will be necessary to go out to eat. There is no complimentary breakfast but coffee and a quick breakfast are offered for a price. This is the one negative that we experienced. We found staff went beyond to make our stay enjoyable. They were friendly and wanted to assist us in any way possible. The rooms were clean and well stocked. We found this an exceptional stay for a great price

The staff at the Courtyard Chandler Fashion Center went above and beyond to help out. The hotel seems very new and the rooms were immaculate. Nice fridge and microwave in the room, and a perfectly hot shower. Oh, and the breakfasts at the Bistro Bar were delicious! Great stay!

Very clean, new furniture, great location by the 101 and 202. My lower back doesnt agree with the mattress, but if you like hard mattresses, you wont be disappointed. Great staff, very kind and courteous. My favorite place to stay

I keep coming back to the Courtyard Chandler Fashion Center because I love the way the staff treats me. I have visited several times for work and now I feel almost like they are family. Talisha and Sam at the Bistro are great (so are the others, I just havent learned their names yet!). The front desk is always friendly and helpful when I need something. The property is conveniently located right next to the freeway I need to get to/from work and right next to the Fashion Center for shopping, food, etc. They take good care of the property keeping it clean and fresh. I will keep returning!
