I had a fantastic experience here! My haircut was smooth and Mr. Smith asked me what I wanted and made sure it was right. The atmosphere was really cool and nothing like Ive seen before, with old movie posters and actors on the wall, and retro items all about the barbershop. I highly recommend this to any and all, and I am so grateful I tried this place out!

This is top notch. I havent had a better cut in C-U.. Patrick is the real deal. Shop is so clean and very nostalgic feeling. I will be returning for all of my haircuts going forward

Probably the best hair cut and beard line up I have ever had. I been skeptical about a new barber but this guy really knows his stuff and taught me a thing or 2 as well. They had some kids in there and they treated them as if they have known them for forever . Definitely a vintage feel and everything you would expect and more out of really good barber shop. Also got the straight razor shave and beard trim for myself and was very happy with both...even gave me a better look than I had before! Easy payment (Venmo) as I didnt have any cash on me. Best barbershop in town! I tried a couple different barbers in the Champaign area until I found Vintage Edge and I will never go any where else in the area. Patrick and Kayla are both very warm, courteous people and will make you feel right at home. On top of all of that, their work is impeccable and they really do put in the time to get it right and all for a very reasonable price.If you are living in the area, this place is a must go!

I didn’t know there was such a thing as a “nice” buzz cut, but it’s extremely worth it. I’ve never had such a good buzz cut. Patrick was using all the tricks. I think he even trimmed my eyebrows? There was also some kind of hot lather and a straight razor involved.I can’t believe my buddies used to pay me beer to give them (my attempt at) a buzz cut. Now that I know how a buzz cut looks when it’s cut by a talented barber, I realize I was basically stealing their beer.

I have been all around the champaign area in look for a stylist that can take there time on my hair, do a great job, and clean up my beard lines, all I one. Untill I found vintage edge.Kayla takes about 45 minutes to take care of my hair and lines. I have certain things with my hair that kayla will take the time to fix things that other places dont want to. They make an excuse not to even try. I have been going to vintage edge for about a year and never once have I had a bad experience. A very professional and relaxing place to visit.

I absolutely love this place! Kayla is my go to gal when it comes to getting a fresh, clean cut for a reasonable price! I used to live in New York with my husband and we would go to salons because we never quite felt comfortable going to barber shops and we would pay the ridiculous Salon price for a subpar haircut. But this place is something special. Not only is it a relaxed environment but the people that work here are professional yet relatable. I have had great conversations with Kayla in the past when she used to work at another shop and I was beyond thrilled that she decided to open a place of her own. Unlike other barber shops in the area who tend to only cut styles that they are familiar with, which lets be honest are on the older side, the Barbers here are familiar with traditional and up-to-date on trendy styles. That being said for the time being it is a cash-only business but thats because they are just starting out so do keep that in mind! The location has so much potential and Im looking forward to seeing the place upgrade over time! They are located literally to the left of the theater which is right next to the parking complex so it makes it a very short commute on foot. I know there are a lot of places to choose from but implore you to give this place a shot. You wont regret it! I certainly didnt! And this is coming from a person who agonizes over getting his haircut and is extremely picky! I spent 3 hours looking online for a great place to get a cut when I first arrived here in Champaign! Thats how selective I am! And I was so fortunate to have the chance to meet Kayla when I came to a barbershop as a walk in one day... Tell Kayla Jeremy sent you!
