Always a great experience visiting Ippatsu. The staff is dedicated and highly skilled.

The food was delicious and our waitress was amazing! My only issue is to please thoroughly clean the tables and benches in the booths... unfortunately the tables were a bit grimy and the booths has large food particles on the seats ☹

I got a hair cut back in March and I really do not enjoy whats the cut did for my hair. My hair dresser gave me very awkward layers and pretty much have me a 80s rock band look. Every single time I wash and dry my hair it looks unappealing and does not make sense. I think this hair salon is fine but my experience wasnt the best and they did not understand my hair at all.

Lindsey did such an amazing job on my hair! I got a deva cut here and I’m so happy with the results!

I had my regular haircut with Tori. She spent time listening to what I wanted before she even touched my hair. She was very gentle and fun to talk to. She spent time with me and I didnt feel rushed throughout the cut. I highly recommend her because she gave me exactly what I wanted while preserving the length of my hair. I love how it looks and I think the price was right for the results.

Mary gave me a wash and style for an event. She was very helpful since she was doing my hair almost a full 6 hours before the event, and she even offered to touch it up an hour before the event if need be since it was such a crazy, windy day. My hair looked great and stayed in place despite the insane weather, and Im so glad I got it done here.

I wish I could give 10 stars to the folks at Ippatsu. I have been getting my hair done there for almost 10 years (when time allows) and every time I am super pleased walking out and even happier a week later after receiving multiple compliments about my hair. I love the decor, I love the energy and I love the level of professionalism of the staff. They are always attending new training and providing quality products I love to use when Im styling my own hair.I highly recommend!!

My hair needed A LOT of help. I was dying my naturally blonde hair black at home for years and needed a change. After the black was stripped out, my color was crazy. Megan not only fixed it, but gave me exactly what I was looking for. She was also experienced with cutting my fine, very straight hair.

This is a great salon and Jake has always done wonders with my hair.

I made an appointment for a Deva cut. My appointment was over a month away, which because of my schedule was understandable. The day of my appointment, I noticed a missed call from the 217 area code. Since its a 90 minute drive to the salon for me, I called to find my appointment was cancelled. The receptionist said she couldnt leave a message on my phone. Um. Okay.She said I would get a call back on Monday to get something scheduled as the next available was, once again, over a month away.--I did receive a return call, which I missed. I hope to try again and change this to a positive review.

Rebecca and her crew are the bomb! I always leave with some rad hair and get tons of complements! Definitely one of the best hair salons in town!

Chronically overpriced hair cut for men($45). I rarely pay that much for a hair cut in the city of Chicago. Hair cut itself was very poor especially for the premium price.
