Timelessly classic barbershop. Personable and talented barbers. A great cut at a fair price. Beautiful 1920s era train station building. Can walk-in but this place is popular so the best strategy is to get an appointment.

They don’t care! There are other barbers in the area. Try them. Monticello has a great barber near the post office

My go to place!!! The old school atmosphere is great. And you will have some great conversations with those 2 fellas.

Traditional barbershop. Friendly barbers and they do a terrific job at reasonable price.

Depot is great and the barbers are good well they have Cardinal fans there but still good.

Brought my boyfriend in. He wanted his beard cut and shaped and hair cut. He has long hair and his beard was getting long as well. They only trimmed the beard and said they don’t really shape them because they don’t know how. They trimmed his hair and didn’t want to do anything more because they don’t know what to do with long hair. So what do they do??? They left hair all over him when they were done. They charged us $22 for two trims and that’s not even what he wanted!Never going back.

Very friendly and able to squeeze me in for a quick cut. Looks great too. They only take cash and check, but there are ATMs nearby.

They always do a fantastic job. It’s not some chain with fresh out stylists. It’s real barbers.

Great 👍🏻 experience! The last time I shaved my face I was stupid and put the hair in the tub and you guessed it. The tub clogged up. $200 to get it unclogged. Then and there I decided to get my hair and shave done professionally.The gentleman who shaved and cut my hair was very good, nice, fast and through.The cost was very reasonable. A++

Dave and Don are great barbers, Down to earth. The depot is were I got my first hair cut. Currently, They are only open 4 days a week but when you are as talented and liked as these guys its fine. Customers like me, expect them to spend time with there grandkids and the fairway. :)

Excellent classic barber shop. With the thickness of my hair and the type of cut I get, it usually takes a couple tries to dial in the length and location of the part. They are very patient and willing to take the time to get it right for me. The price is a bit more than Im used to paying for comparable shops, but I dont mind because they have very good attention to detail and I always come out satisfied. It also helps that there are two barbers, so things move a bit faster when there is a line. Also, their location is awesome too - very cool that it is in the old train station and right in downtown so I can walk (though there is parking in the area). Its a good idea to call ahead and make sure they are open before going - I cant recall exactly what days they are open but its not every day.

A nice traditional barber shop. You can get a nice shave which just feels great. The guys will give you a nice conversation while they cut your hair which is nice. 20$ for a haircut, plus 9$ for the shave (at time of reviewing 2014), so a little expensive.

Great haircut, guys are always friendly. Theyve been cutting hair for 25+ years so theyre right professionals!
