These guys got us in at last minute notice on a Friday afternoon and had absolutely everything fixed for my dad and I so we could get on the road to Oregon. They even helped us hook up our trailer when everything was done. If you need assistance with anything vehicle related in Centralia Illinois make Firestone your first stop. We went to four other shops in town and got absolutely no help. They did everything. Go to them first always!

Broke down today on the hwy over 300 miles from home. So thankful they were open on a Sunday not to mention its a holiday weekend. Got me in and out in about an hour and a half. Only spoke to Chris he was awesome and concerned about my situation

I brought my mom to Springfield for a Dr appointment just as we pulled in I began noticing a strange noise only to find out I have a flat tire. I pulled into a parking place and called roadside assistance. They asked me if Firestone Complete was ok since it was the closest place to us, and I agreed. Upon the advice of the tow truck driver I called to give them a heads up, the car was getting loaded and would be on its way. He proceeded to tell me they closed soon and if we didnt hurry it would have to wait until tomorrow, I said ohhhh no that wont work we live two hours away the man said well my guy is off at 6 and if it isnt here in 10-15 minutes it wont be finished until tomorrow, it was 4:59. I understand it is end of day and people want to go home, but to two women one using a cane to walk and the other walking somewhat bent over due to a bad hip and back, being stuck in Springfield over night was not an option for us. Fortunately the tow truck driver got it there quickly and we were able to get things taken care of and go home. I felt this guy was so rude and if I had a choice I would have had my car taken somewhere else.

I went there today to get a tire change Because I had a bolt in my front tireAnd I asked about the back TireAnd they saidIf theres nothing wrong with it then I wouldnt be charged for so I said ok when I left they charged me for both I look at the papers and it said it was ok so I went back and they said I had a bad valve stem but it wasnt marked on the Mechanics paper and everything else was Mark they wouldnt get me back my money got an attitude with me and tells me to leave I go to my truck and then the woman who wasnt even waiting on me comes out to my truck telling me they did the work on it and being disrespectful to me I will never use another firestone COM again they are so dishonest and disrespectful to customersi wouldnt even give them one star. Bad business

Easiest trip to get my car fixed ever , I don’t know much about cars , but they were patient and explained what was going on vs other places that would be annoyed and try to take advantage by adding things on. Would highly recommend this Firestone !

This is the worst business I have ever had to experience. Going for 1 tire ended up a disaster. After picking up my van the noise that was coming from the viechle, it sounded unsafe. They acused me of doing something to my own vehicle also they broke my tire sensor 225.00 +138.00 for tire -2days . Never again!

Seen a friend of mine brought their vehicle here not only did they damage their car by taking a huge chunk of paint out of it but the people didn’t even put the front tire back on all the way and it fell off driving down the road 🤦‍♀️ Not to mention when you leave a review they don’t like Ashley Storcj will hop right into your messenger and harass you to change or remove your review

Do not take your car here. I came in for an oil change, a simple no frills oil change, and my brake line busted when it was on their jack. Fine, that’s understandable, it’s an old vehicle that has substantial rust. But then they tried to sell me on $1000 dollar repair cost for 2 brake lines an 2 calipers, even though it was just one brake line that started leaking AFTER it was in THEIR shop. I asked if they could just replace the one brake line instead of two, and they said they couldn’t. I literally fixed it myself in 2 hours of downtime after not having a safely functioning vehicle for 4 days.

I have only been here once it was to get my AC charged. I thought it was leaking, they ran dye and traced it through the AC system and couldnt find a leak. They added some coolant to my AC. Didnt charge me but 20 dollars, I really appreciated how they treated me. This would be a good place to go I think. The only one complaint, but is understandable is the break room is not available currently because of the Covid-19 situation so if you drop your vehicle off you will have to go somewhere else to wait or have a ride home, good thing the park is just down the road so you can sit in the shelter. I gave all 5 stars because of how good they treated me and their service.

Just got out of Firestone and will never go back.....I got a 2014 f150 with the turbo charged motor that they decided to take for a joy ride....I watched them back it out of the shop and leave with it and returned about 5 mins later then got the call it was finished and my fuel calculator shows 8 miles less to E than I had when it went in....F that place

Tried this place twice now. Terrible service, very slow, wildly overpriced! The first time was to get my filters changed. It took 2 1/2 hrs (with an appointment) to change. Was also the most expensive oil change Ive ever had. Second time I had them look my car over and they determined the problem. They quoted me at $412+. I left, took it down the road and got the work done for $260. Hell of a difference there. Also,I feel I should mention, both times I was in there other people were at the front desk complaining about bad service and dishonesty. This place must love to scam you.

Management at third location is the absolute worst. I simply called to check if this location was open and available for tire replacements. I was yelled at and hung up on because I didn’t know the exact size of the tires. Would not recommend this location to anyone. Sad as in the past, I’ve had good experiences. Seems to have gone down hill quite quickly.

My Service Advisor, Chris told me that he would bring my car in the garage since I came in the night before my appointment. He also had told me about the lifetime alignment for $60 more which was a good savings for me and he encouraged me to sign up for the credit card which would save me 5% more. I was very happy about that.This is an honest store to deal with and they are experts in customer service. I started with Ashley, the Service Advisor, but she was not there for my appointment and I give kudos to Chris also and Brent who did the work on my car. I had just returned from a 2,000 mile trip to Florida and very happy that they advised me that I needed new tires and alignment also.In my take of the three times that I have used this store, take my advice and you use them to as you will be happy you did.

We were on a 12 hour trip when less than half way through the drive, the water pump and belt went out on the interstate. It was 3am. A tow company from Lebanon towed us to them per our request. The star rating left me skeptical. With it being a holiday weekend we were nervous this would be a huge issue. Firestone had us back on the road by noon! The mechanic was very knowledgeable, he went above and beyond with his services to make sure we had no issues for the other 8 hours. The other staffing (especially Ashley) was very helpful! She never lead us to believe it was going to take any less that what it did. We definitely trusted them and had no issues getting coverage via our warranty. They also recommended places for food while we waited. Because of the dedication and service if I were local this would be my shop.

Was told I could be sqeezed in to potentially get my tire patched I told then it was half bad and I wasnt sure how bad of condition it was I but I was expecting to be told to needed a while new tire anyway. Fast forward to 145pm ( 15 mins before my appt) a man outside (who worked there) looked at me and asked how he could help me with a condescending attitude. I told him I had an appointment in 15 but before I wasted anyones time I told him I wasnt sure of the quality of my tire and if would be safe to patch he tells me no, I cant do that. Is that all you need because im busy right now with actual customers. I told him now with an attitude, apparently yes and with that type of customer service ill be sure to not come back. This man was disrespectful to someone who was a customer and as i told him ill be sure to never go back.

I cant complain about the quality of work or the product, but if you have anything else to do that day fund a ride. I made a 9 oclock appointment for a rotate and balance. Here it is 9:47 and they just now pulled it in.When I bought the tires I was quoted an hour and a half but it took nearly 3 hours, because it had 8 lug nuts. Who knew 8 extra lug nuts took an hour and a half to tighten?

Called to have a 225/75/16 Lt tire put on a retired U Haul box truck. Manager said he had it, so we drove 20 miles to have Firestone put it on. When we got there, we were informed the Firestone couldnt change it because of their lifts. When I asked why we werent told that when we called, the manager said he thought the tire was for a trailer. Really??

I started having issues with my vehicle a couple of days ago. I walked in to ask a couple of questions and I had my vehicle inspected immediately and my problem was taken care of the following day. I also became aware of something that is very important and I plan on getting this taken care of also. Service was excellent, staff was very helpful in understanding what was being done and I will definitely recommend Firestone to others!

3 years ago I had a bad experience with them . Fast forward to 2 weeks ago I bring in a brand new truck to firestone with less than a 1,000 miles on it I purchased brand new wheels and tires to change out the stocks I left with car pulling they said it needed allignment I didn’t believe so but since it was pulling I brought it back they aligned it I left still pulling they said maybe a bad tire so they swapped front tires tech drove said it was good hit I leave it’s still pulling , I go to Belleville store since they fixed my issue last time the said allignment was fine tech drove it and said it does pull take it to Chevy to get reprogrammed I go to Chevy they say there aligning it with the wrong program call hunter for updated program they said the equipment was not updatable sent me to the O’Fallon store went there tech pulls it in alligns it says it was off a little and should be good to go yet same pull but worse called 1800 twice said management would contact me within 48 no contact so I called again still noting no reason to why it pulls if it’s a tire issue I’m out of time trying to do a warranty claim because I keep racking up the miles going to all these shops brand new truck brand new wheels and tires I just want my truck to drive straight as it did when I dropped it off if it was a tire a tech should be able to tell me every store had different excuse you should either fix my truck or pay some one that can if you couldn’t do the job shouldn’t of started it! All my tires are off the sensor for the left front is on the back there all jacked up left tire sensor is on the right be ware just because it’s in the green doesn’t mean it’s right I took it to monken Chevy and they had it going down the road smooth and straight the first time take it there if you live in centralia worth it and it’s same price

I believe that this store deliberately damaged the engine on our Kia. It had been a great car until we went to Firestone. A few weeks after they changed our oil for the first time, (after our usual guy retired) it started making an odd sound. We took it back and they said that there was metal shavings in the motor and needed rebuilt or replaced. We never imagined they had done something. We compared prices and the guy we decided to go with discovered that the wrong oil had been put in it. We didnt want to believe that it was deliberate and maybe the other guy was wrong. It feels like you get alot of bad information in this industry. Around the same time, they had our jeep in for new tires. They told us that they could not balance our tires because we had a broken ball joint. They quoted us over $600 for new tires and repairs. I called Auto Zone to check the price of the joint and discovered that it was $43. Firestones estimate had listed it on the quote at $95. We decided to check around and found a quote for half that, for the repairs and tires! The new guy called us within an hour and told us our jeep was already finished as there was nothing at all wrong with it. All the ball joints were tight as could be and the new tires were mounted and balanced. They even put a new air filter in at no charge for the labor. We got the air filter at Auto Zone for $14 (the Firestone quote for the filter was $25.)Every estimate they give you contains hundreds in extended warranties and added fees, making it difficult to tell what you really need. They take advantage of people who dont know better. We will never go there again.

I went here to see about getting my brake pads replaced. I asked if they could do it now while I wait or if I needed to make an appointment. The lady at the desk started talking about replacing the rotors also. i told her that I didnt think the rotors were bad yet but she said I needed to make an appointment because she only had 1 tech and inspecting my brakes and doing the pads was going to tie him up all day. Wait a minute....Ive changed brake pads before and it takes 30 minutes per wheel tops, not all day like she suggested. Also I have a question....wouldnt the 1 tech be tied up no matter what job he was doing? Arent you in business to make money from auto repairs? I told her I didnt want to make an appointment because if I kept driving the truck I would have to replace the rotors also. I will not be going back there ever again.

Went in to have oil changed and tires rotated on an enterprise fleet vehicle. It took them 2 hrs. I was not informed when making the appointment that the lobby was closed and wasn’t allowed in the building. Stood outside in the heat waiting for it to get done. Will never go back

I bought 4 brand new tires from Firestone Complete Auto in Centralia, IL — 1 needed replaced within a week (which I had to pay for). And 2 other tires (including the one I replaced) needed exchanged due to rips in the sidewall within a month. Firestone Complete Auto refused to help (even though I have insurance on the tires) — I had to go to Bundy’s Tire in Centralia to have them patched.Firestone also gave 2 attempts on an alignment that still has yet to be done right. More people need to contact the BBB and file a complaint or they will continue to get away with selling defective products and having incompetent staff.

Needed to get a flat tire repaired while on vacation. The staff was very accommodating and made the repair while I waited. $20 and 30 minutes later I was back on the road. What I thought was going to take several hours of our short vacation was done quickly and before everyone else woke up....its nice that this shop opens for business at 7 am.

I was a little put off by the barage of up selling. I am knowledgeable about most automotive related issues. While I waited for new tires for my daughters car, a steady flow of unsuspecting people came and were told cars needed more work than they probably did. Manager made statements to me that were completely opposite of well known facts about brake pads and rotor wear. By the way, best rotors that they install have 1 year warranty. Almost any parts store in America sell cheapest rotors with 2 year warranty and offer lifetime warranty as well. Not sold on Centralia Firestone.

I want to start by saying that the gentleman working the counter was very polite and professional. That is the only positive thing that I can say about my experience. Several people had told me that I shouldnt go to Firestone but unfortunately, I ignored their warnings.I called ahead of time and had my tires quoted and scheduled an appointment. I arrived, on time, for my appointment and was told that it might take a little longer than expected. (It seemed like they were short handed.) This wasnt a problem though. I called and got a ride back to my house and told them I would be back around 6 (closing time) to pick it up. I came back right before 6 and was greeted with bad news.1. I was quoted the wrong size tire but the correct size was actually $2 cheaper. This sounds like good news, right? The problem was that they only had 3 of the 4 tires.2. Id have to come back at a later date and have the 4th tire installed. They did not know when the tire would be in.3. They broke one of my TPMS sensors. This item was not in stock and they didnt know when it would be available. They did however offer to replace this at no charge.4. The guy working in the shop walked through and told me that my Chrysler was junk and thats why it broke.Now I have to call back and talk to the manager to figure out when they can finish their job.

What a joke, they tell you they have to do a free break inspection then sock you with a $999.00 bill for a new set of bearings for your tires plus break change ect. Should not cost so much for auto mechanic services in my opinion. I do give props to Mr. Kelly in the auto department for his dedication to customer service.
