I hired Root Tree Service to trim a tree, remove three bushes, and grind the stumps. Unfortunately, they only did the first two jobs on the list and did not grind the stumps. I tried calling them numerous times and emailed them as well with no response. By the time they finally responded, I had already hired another company to come out to grind the sumps because I was having a concrete patio installed and the stumps had to be gone. The company said they had planned on coming out the following week to grind the stumps - frankly, I think that was an easy excuse from the owners son after they already knew I had the stumps removed . Of course, they kept the full payment and did not offer to make it right. Not the kind of company I will be doing business with again.

Used Root Tree Service to remove several large and concerning tree limbs over my house. Service was completed with care and no damage to the property. Root Tree is who you need to use for your tree service.The storm on July 24th knocked down two trees onto my home. One a 90’ blue spruce and a 60’ honey locus. They landed on my home and onto my power lines.Root Tree was the first company I called. Brendan called me right back, and I was on schedule for first thing the next morning.I had crew of nine, five large trucks, and a crane. It had to move the debris from middle of yard, over the house to the street. It was long 9-hour day, but everyone was in great spirits even though they had all been working non-stop to help other customers in need. They were also great working with Excel Energy and electrician in the timing of getting the power lines cleared and making sure I didn’t loose power more than I needed.Root Tree cleared off street, cleared yard, and you would almost not know they had not been there. They did an amazing job. The crew was prompt, and courteous. They even followed up on Monday following the storm to finish up work even after they got paid Friday.Brendan, and Root Tree made a nightmare of a situation less stressful by being easy to work with, friendly, and going above and beyond. We had a large area of Juniper bushes (30×20) to be removed. A large row of Evergreen bushes (110 ft) to be trimmed up. A Maple tree that a large branch was a liability along with dead and broken branches. The crew showed up at the time that they said, on the dot. Brian, who ran the crew, along with Brandon and Torian listened to my needs. Intermittently they would ask for me to check, to make sure we were all on track.They knew I had dogs and offered to close the gate to let them out often. Out of the 5 companies my husband called ROOT TREE SERVICE was the only one to call back within the hour. The amount of landscape that we have, we will only be using ROOT TREE SERVICE.

Root removed a very old tree that was a safety problem. No other tree service would do it because of power lines and that the whole base was rotted. These guys came in with amazing equipment and took it down, including roots. We would use them again in a heartbeat.

During the storm on 6/6, I lost a nearly 80 year old Blue Spruce. This majestic tree was so large it reached across Holly and completely blocked it. After neighbors came by to clear the street and make a path in my driveway, Root Tree Service was contracted to pick up the logs and branches in the street. From 11 pm to after midnight the first team from Root came to my aid. This team efficiency cleared out the parts of the tree still in the street. Today, the second team from Root came to the house to clean up all the rest! What a truly fantastic team of professionals. The work was done safely, efficiently, courteously, and with great care. They swept all waste and took great pride in ensuring the entire project was finished before they left. I could not be happier with the professionals from this company and the way they took care of me and my tree. They are amazing!

These guys are awesome! With a crew of five - they removed 4 huge, dead Aspen trees in less than 2 hours. They cleaned up so well, you’d never even know they were there - even our neighbors yard where a small branch fell. Extremely professional & polite. This company and crew is absolutely amazing! I had a 60ft Cottonwood fall on my house late in the evening and Root Tree came out with 2 cranes as an emergency call to get the tree off my house and keep it from splitting house house in half. They stayed for about 8 hours until 2am to, literally, save my house! I am beyond thoroughly impressed and incredibly grateful for their promptness to respond, their professionalism and skill, and they even made me laugh and lifted my spirits during a horrific experience. Josh is my go to guy for all things regarding our trees, shrubs and just general knowledge of whats going on. He keeps very up to date with all of the recommendations, for example he helped us save our big bushes that were damaged by a late spring freeze. He is also very good on price and has done specific work that I have asked as well as blank slate work where I asked him to do what he thought looked best. I was happy with both and got compliments from my neighbors. Highly recommend!

The crew from Root did an amazing job removing a HUGE old willow tree that was between ours and our neighbors houses and they did a fantastic job in cleaning up an old and very front and center locust tree that is the middle of our front yard.I was very impressed with their safety while on site and their communication prior to and during the project was great. Hired Root Tree to take out two dead aspens in the back yard. One was leaning over the fence into the neighbors yard. Both trees about 25 ft tall. They took them both down in no time at all. Didnt damage the fence or my irrigation system. They did a great job with cleanup and hauling away everything. Made my yard look like they werent ever there. Their quote was right on with others I received, but just felt like I got the friendlies treatment and full understanding of what they planned on doing. Would use them again.

We used Root Tree service to trim back a large Blue Spruce pine tree. Josh was quick in responding, very professional and easy to work with while setting everything up. He came out quickly for a quote and explained what he thought should be done. He didnt push all the other stuff on us that the big companies wanted to charge us for. Didnt try to pad the quote with a bunch of extra suggestions for other work. Liked that he listened to what we wanted and gave us great options. The work was completed on time and it looks beautiful.
