Did not dump my yard waste two weeks in a row. I went to call but hours said open till 3:30 pm so i called the next day at 7:45am and all the lady cared about was lecturing me on the fact that they answer the phones 24/7 so I should have called immediately because there’s not much she can do now because I did not call immediately after.

These men and women do a fine job keeping our city beautiful!!Keep up the good work 👏 👍

Have always been pleasant when calling and respond quickly

They do a great job, and they work hard.I am reading the reviews. I get it, they are not perfect. But they work hard and certainly do not rate an overall low rating.These are frontline workers. And I have always had a great deal of respect for them. Do they miss the mark? Occasionally, yeah. But the vast majority of the time you can count on them.I have lived here for almost 30 years. They have been my allies in trying to keep up with life (we raised five children) and in cleaning up the yard. Give them a break. Say thanks. And in this time of time of national emergency say a prayer for them.

Large item pick up is easy! I got a great new mattress and needed to get rid of my former. I called up the CR Solid Waste and Recycling expecting a complicated 15 step process. It wasnt that. It was easy. I described the large item I was disposing, they advised to set it out on my next garbage day. I set the former mattress out, they picked it up, added $5 to my next bill. Easy and impressive.

Only picks up half the trash half of the time. Manages to miss our street a lot and they never take our extra bags. Trash routinely piles up.

I called customer service to report that my garbage can was missing most likely because it had blown away from a rainstorm that consisted of 90 mph winds. The representative stated that she will have to send out someone to look for it first but instructed me to just put out my trash in its regular bag in the meantime. She also stated that she will inform the men who picks up the trash in my neighborhood that my bags will not be in a container so they will know to take it anyway. I set out the trash late at night before the morning of pickup. Not only did the men NOT pick up my trash bag, but because they did not, animals got into it therefore my trash bag was torn apart and laying everywhere. Thanks CR Solid Waste. You could have just brought me a new container instead of thinking I am lying that my trash can is missing thus saying you have to send your men out to check it out first. Now I can see why this place of business has a one-star rating out of 5 stars. And considering what they charge for their services, youd think they have better quality people who work for them.NW side resident

My garbage hasnt been picked up in over a month. Ive called three times & have been told Well put you on the schedule for today & yet, its still sitting there five weeks later. Was also charged for recycling when Ive never used their recycling services. Everyone else on my streets cans get emptied. Why not mine? This morning i also noticed red stickers put on my cans saying Warning, no garbage....theyre GARBAGE CANS. What else goes in them? Socks? Quite ridiculous that i have nowhere to put my trash because both my bins are full due to their laziness. I will be calling a fourth time today and they will be picking it up or they can pay they bill from now on.

Ive lived in the same house for 32 years. I KNOW when the garbage truck will be arriving in my neighborhood. This past week, about half of my neighbors up and down the street did not get their trash picked up. We cant put it out overnight because raccoons will make a mess and the city will NOT help if its out of the container. Now Im told that I have to set my alarm as a retired person, and alter my life to get my trash to the street by 7:00 AM. This is not what Im paying taxes for - terrible service!Addendum: I got a special pickup today at no charge. Jason, the supervisor was professional and understanding. Id still like to have a solution to the raccoon problem if I put it out overnight.

My trash was not picked up this morning, and somehow the garby ended up in the street. I spoke with a very nice young lady, Chrystal I think, who told me to leave it out and they would pick it up tomorrow. Honestly, I did not expect this wonderful service. Thank you!

It seems like yard waste is only picked up if they feel like it. They get it about half of the time. Wish we had the option to only pay for half of it! But of course, we dont have that optionm
