Really nice homey atmosphere. My mushroom Swiss burger was good but not great. The jalapeno poppers are way overpriced and not worth the money. Waiters were very attentive and made sure we were well taken care of. No mask required.

Generally good. Kiddos enjoyed the cheese burger and chicken fingers. Would have been nice to know the coke only comes in cans. Our burger with Jalepenos was good paired with some fries. Meal was what I would expect from Starlite - good, reliable and classic atmosphere.

Service was quick & friendly. However, I ordered a hamburger & got a cheeseburger...I remember the burger to be bigger & flavor better. The mushrooms were as I remember!Not sure If Ill go back.

Was here the other day and ordered a 2 super burgers. The 2 of us thought they tasted funny. Come to find ot from the server that there super burger contains soy! Really? This place constantly gets rave reviews and best burger nominations!?!?!? How? Its mostly frozen food and soy burgers. Its not cheap either. If you order a side with yor meal it will be $11-13 dollars. She also said the kitchen is a circus show. No labels, no dates, not very clean and cooks who could care less. Not a happy individual

Food was good but not great. Waitress did not check up on us very often. When our food came out, half of our order was wrong. Asking for a refill was the cardinal sin. Tabitha was very rude and after she messed up our, she never came back to our table.

Excellent service, food, and atmosphere. We got to choose where to sit so our level of social distancing comfort was met. All staff wore masks and checked in on us often. I love how all the staff works together too make sure every customer gets great service.

The starlite is a great place to have a beer and awesome burger. A very clean restaurant/ bar and welcoming. They have a bar area you can eat at as well as a dining area as well. I recommend to someone looking for an old fashion burger and fries. Service was excellent and food came out within 15 minutes.

I usually love the Starlite room. I ordered the Super Cheeseburger and breaded mushrooms. Service was slow, which all places seem short staffed so I will excuse that......this time. Burger wasnt as tasty as I remember , kind of bland. The breaded mushrooms were cooked well and delicious. I would go back, maybe an off day?

Its not what it used to be. Hadnt been there for a few years. The burger was decent, but seemed better years ago. Also had a fight break out in the bar area; didnt make the meal any better.

This restaurant serves up a delicious, comforting, burger at a good price. There isnt a full bar, decor is 1970s grandpas basement, and they wont ask how you want your burger cooked- you get what you get, but youll like it! Set your expectations accordingly and know that all imaginable fried appetizers are at your disposal.

Not the best burger in Cedar Rapids. The burgers are consistently good. The atmosphere is what sells this place. Always great service. Always open when most of CR is closed. Great prices and always worth the stop. Try the chili- its really good!

LOVE THIS PLACE. We moved near this bar about two years ago. And it is probably the coziest place I’ve ever been. The food is really affordable, they have great staff, and I always love their grilled cheese and pickles. Very homey and a great burger joint! (We have eaten here AT LEAST 15 times).

What you need to know is, I didnt even want to come here. I knew it was good for a burger or whatever but honestly I was disappointed still from a bad experience elsewhere at a different restaurant. We decided to eat outside on the patio cause the sun was coming down. The ceiling fan seemed to suffice in keeping up cool. We hadnt sat long at all before our server Ashley came to great us. Our drinks came fast and my beer was cold. Ashley was a delight. She joked with us and the other patrons there. We needed for nothing, the service was amazing. The food was amazing. From the complimentary popcorn all the way to my mushroom and swiss. Everything was hot and tasty. We had a GREAT time. I super glad we came. I tip, but I HATE doing it. With the great service and tasty food I was happy to leave a tip.

For this place is absolutely spectacular it was such a great Everyone with the high new rate in loving and sweet and the wages and waiters were beautiful interacting me to the bathroom didnt know that need to go to the bathroom But they let me know where woz anyways probably because I got 7 refills and they assume that I probably should P. They also left a flirty :) on my receipt so kind wish I could give 6 stars but only 5 allowed

I love the history of this place. Its basically a historical landmark for the area. I really enjoyed the staff, theyre all very sweet and make you feel at home. The food was pretty good. They put popcorn at your table with seasoning salt which is good. The burgers, the staple, are pretty tasty. I think its worth going to for the history, the burgers, and the atmosphere. Its personally not something Id go to all the time, but prices are good, and its worth the visit every now and then or if youre strolling through Cedar Rapids.

I work for postmates and I went to get a order today and was denied service because it was for a food delivery service, I make my money from it and because of them refusing service I am not able to do any more orders for postmates for a week because I had to cancel the order on the customer since they decided to not let me order food. Im sure their food is good but Im not screwed out of work for a week because of them deciding food delivery services are not welcome.

Ordered chicken tenders. 1 decent size and 2 mcnugget size. Dipping sauce for my wifes French dip was less than room temp. Over all - meh. Shouldve order the tenderloin. Its always good.

This is like an old fashioned burger joint, but also has a bar. There is a separate dining area if you have children. We absolutely love their prices and their burgers and fries. They also have good salads and other food. Has old tables and chairs, booths, just like a small town place to eat. This place is not high end. Its after work, jeans, bring the kids, a burger (and a beer with it, if you want). They also show ball games or its a nice place to go with your couples friends after a movie.

This is standing as my favorite place in Cedar Rapids/Marion to date after being here for six years, and my true rating is 6 stars.The food isnt out of this world. There is nothing amazing. At all. But what it has is done right EVERY DAMN TIME. I have been to this establishment 20+ times and Ive NEVER had a complaint about the food, the service, or the wait. By God, I dont come in but once every so many months, and the bartenders/wait staff make me feel like Im a regular, and Im pretty sure they dont remember me! Its simple. They have cheeseburgers, chicken tenders, fish and chips, fries, breaded mushrooms, crab rangoons, salads. Look at their menu, they actually have quite a selection, but its all simple. Sides dont automatically come with the sandwiches, which is great. Maybe I wasnt that hungry. The atmosphere is warm and cozy, and it just feels comfortable to be there. I could sit here and chat with friends for hours. I really want to thank Starlite Room for being what it is and the people for being who they are. I dont come in often enough for this to be an episode of Cheers, but if I had a bar or a restaurant I would ever make a second home, it would be this one.
