All people at GMC dealer were great, even those not directly involved in sale. Logan did good job in presentation & closing deal.Sales manager, Jeff, was very helpful, enjoyed meeting him & finding out our relationship through my brother. Courtney was very helpful & cordial in showing us the pickup.Other sales people were involved that we talked to and assisted as well. Service people come across as friendly & helpful.

Second time in to replace a 1”x1” square piece of trim and still not fixed on a brand new Denali. This piece was missing when we bought the car mid May. It is now almost the beginning of August and it’s still not fixed. I have to stay on them to keep trying to get this fixed and they can’t even take care of this simple job. Not to mention my 2 year old pointed out the missing piece being in the car for less than 5 minutes. Their own delivery team didn’t even notice it. Then I asked the service advisor, who was very rude, to send me a copy of the service and after several reminders I never got anything.

I set up an appointment to have mud flaps installed on a new truck purchased from here. When I arrived at my appointment time, I was told it would take 2-3 hours for them to be installed. I said I was told over the phone it would take 1 hour. I live 1 hour away & had no intent to leave since it was to take 1 hour. Then I was told the truck would get in with the Chevy dealership to speed up the process. After 2 and 45 minutes of waiting. I feel like I was lied to & Very disappointed in this service department. Why set up appointments if it’s going to take 2-3 hours - be straight forward with the customer.

Curt Dillon is a great salesperson. Extremely knowledgeable, honest, answered everything I asked. I did not feel rushed into buying which I have with other dealers. He is just a nice guy who I could trust with anything. Every employee I came across smiled and spoke. Purchased a new 1 ton dual wheel Denali from them 3 years ago. The vehicle arrived with hand prints on the side of the box from the factory. They told us it was a factory defect and was going to be repainted under warranty and still have full factory warranty.A couple of months later we brought it in for servicing and the mechanic screwed up and rotated the tires, something you cannot do on a dual wheel truck and damaged all of the polished rims. Several thousand dollar mistake which took an act of congress to have them replace. Since we are 3 hours away, they finally shipped us new rims, but refused to pay for the installation $70,000 truck, 3 months old.This winter, the paint on the box side which they had repainted began to peel. No dealer would touch it since it had been painted by McGrath. After seeing pictures, McGrath told me I needed to bring it in for them to inspect, so 3 hour drive up and 3 hour drive back. 10 days later with no response, we called and called again and they told us they wanted to look at it again!??!?Since then we decided to trade the vehicle in and tried to reach Lindsay McGrath and Pat McGrath. If any of you have tried to reach them, they are untouchables or simply do not exist as they are perpetually in meetings and never return calls. After leaving many messages and telling them we need to get the paint fixed so we can trade it in they were very quick on trying to sell us a new truck and telling us that would fix our paint problem. Thats ballsy!! Getting screw ups fixed, virtually impossible, but boy are they quick on trying to sell a new vehicle!!And Jared - theres only so many insults you can throw at people, making them drive hundreds of miles and laugh at them telling them to drive back and forth to look at peeling paint. Sorry your service department screwed up the rims when the truck was new - you still owe us for installing the new rims. Sorry your body shop screwed up the paint which is now peeling - $600 quote here to repaint it - thats your expense, not ours.To all who are looking at McGraths to buy a vehicle - they are Johnny on the Spot until the ink dries...then you are on your own. Caveat Emptor - Buyer Beware.***If you did not want to deal with us, why would you send our messages to your sales department? Why would we have emails from several of your staff trying to sell us a new truck over the past 10 days when all we asked was for you to fix the paint which is peeling so we could trade in a clean vehicle? It is unfortunate that a vehicle with 37 miles on it should need some repainting and disheartening that the only part now peeling is what you all repainted. We sincerely apologize that what you consider verbal abuse is asking you all to fix problems you created to begin with. GM & GMC do not seem to think so, and they have correspondence in hand.We are sorry that your mechanic damaged all the polished rims as they were mishandled and and that we had to follow up for months to have you replace them. At 7,000 miles and 10 weeks old, we are embarrassed to have had to ask to have them replaced and even that we got it in writing from you. Everything is in writing and yet there is nothing abusive beyond asking when it would be fixed. We know it cost you all money and you stopped responding when you wouldnt pay for the bill to have the wheels installed. I mean, on a new $70,000+ truck, we cant expect too much, can we? And finally, we are sorry we did not accept your attempts and terms to try to sell us a new vehicle. But can you blame us? Weve seen how you ignore customers once the ink is dry and regret if it seemed abusive to you that we did not accept your offer. This review is accurate and you know it. We are not as certain that your people are the problem, most were very nice, but they dont make the calls when things go wrong, do they? It appears to be only you.

This type of repair should not have happened. Was it a defect in manufacturing?A ruptured gas line leak, Maybe there should be a recall? 3 says to fix, Dealership was not expecting this kind of repair. May be done with Buick. May sell & buy a lincoln Mercury.

Boy did they deliver, they found me exactly what I wanted and it had ridiculously low miles! Go see them at McGrath’s used cars and if you’re looking for a new Chevy or GMC (or Cadillac) go see Gaige McGreevey or James Steffen.

We were looking for a GMC Acadia with a very specific set of options and we could not find what we wanted locally. You had what we wanted, so a trip from Minnesota to Cedar Rapids Iowa did not seem like too much of an inconvenience if it meant we could get the exact vehicle we wanted. Victor and everyone else involved in helping us seemed like they were doing their very best. Overall, it was a good experience and we really like our new Acadia. Victor was especially helpful, as he returned all of our call and emails promptly, the information he gave us was accurate, and there were no unpleasant surprises. We would definitely at least consider another trip to your dealership the next time we need to purchase a new vehicle.

My sales person Connor was fantastic. As almost always with car sales the financing is the place where my stars fall off. It is always disappointing to have arange of what my vehicle will cost lisymted out after test driving many cars and investing timefinding the right car only to have financing sit down and try and upsell me to almost $300 more a month over the range that was shown to me. Mind you I have pretty amazing credit so this was NOT the issue, it was trying to upsell the extended warranty and what not. When we said the payment wasnt something I was interested in the all of a sudden my monthly payment was less then they thought it was to begin with and the extended warranty was a workable amount. How does that work? That being said KIA was down the weekend we purchased so that may have had a bit of a factor. Either way dont show me a price tag and possible payment only to throw a final payment in front of me for over $300 more a month. I hate car shopping. Connor gets 4 stars, the financing and the rest of it gets 2. Why cant car shopping be an easier more up front experience?

Requested accessories/service appointment 2 weeks ahead of time and my parts still weren’t at the shop when I arrived at 7AM, they had to wait until the parts shop opened and drive “across town” to get them. My appointment was stated to last about an hour, I was at the facility for more than 2 1/2 hours. Thankfully i scheduled this accessory install on my day off and first thing in the morning. Not sure who dropped the ball but this is poor customer service and I am a new customer to this dealership/service department and am not impressed at all.

My wife and I had been looking for a low-mile, one-owner Toyota Sequoia in our price range in the Twin Cities (Minneapolis/St. Paul) for over 6 months before finding what we wanted at McGrath. Initially I was a little hesitant to buy a vehicle in a different state, but Doug Jackson and the rest of the team at McGrath explained the process and made the whole transaction super easy. They even took my personal check for the balance, saving me a $30 wire transfer fee. Very cool! My only complaint is the hard sell we had to endure on the extended service plan. I was like, dude... Im not driving 4 hours for free oil changes, and if you sell me a lemon Ill sue you... lol. Overall great experience. Thank you!

My McGrath experience was not the best, but perhaps is the exception.1) I leased a vehicle in 2015 and had a very difficult time to get all the details disclosed, I could not get the numbers to work out and had to get to the final steps of the transaction to finally see the missing $600 fee added to it. The team could be stronger on leases, and it should be one of the most simple to do. Maybe this is improved since then...2) I received many promotions to return the lease early, but when I arrived at the dealership to see options it was a fragmented experience. The perks simply were not there. I felt that since I was looking at a Canyon in the $35-$45 range it was a lower priority, compared to the high price cars everyone else is looking at, which I totally understand!3) During my 3 years with a new vehicle, I almost regretted getting the service done because of the hard sell each time for add-on items. Always a few hundred dollars to lubricate something, do an inspection, etc... Maybe it was the GMC model I purchased and it was needing extra attention, but when researching them it did not seem like common items to be serviced so early.4) The facility was always very clean and updated, and the courtesy drivers are reliable, courteous, and professional.5) Very deep selection of vehicles is also a big benefit at McGrath.Now I am out of the lease and probably wont come back, but is always good to try something different. My advice to shoppers is to prepare for the normal sales tactics but dont be too pressured. Be careful of all the add-on items during the purchase process and with service department. I am a bit too frugal to enjoy the full dealership experience, however, many people like this premium experience and confident they will get that here.

The dealership as a whole, was high caliber and we were impressed, as first time purchasers there. However, our experience with our sales consultant, Michael Staub, was not up to the same standards as everyone else that assisted us. Specifically, we felt his knowledge of the vehicles we were interested in was desperately lacking. We did purchase a vehicle from him, but he did not demonstrate an ability or desire to inform us on the instrumentation, options or features that the Cadillac has. We were basically left on our own with the owners manual, unlike our past experiences with other sales consultants that previewed, in detail, all options and features, before we left the lot with our new vehicle. So this is why only a 3 star rating.

I arrived a couple minutes early. I was quickly greeted and checked in for my scheduled appointment. After performing a walk around of my truck, I was explained what was going to happen, how long it would approximately take, and other options that I could opt in for. After that discussion I was taken to a comfortable area where I sat until the service was completed. The billing process was very smooth. The appointment was for a Recall so there were no fees, as expected. But I did get a complimentary car wash! Overall, very pleased with the staff, processes, and the comfort that I received.

What I didnt like was that we were there for 4 hours... Knew what vehicles we wanted to drive, paid cash so no financing was needed, but still took that long?? Also saying we couldnt do our own tax/title/registration was BullSh** since we did that a week ago from another car lot. So you can bet I also researched the area dealers. On several of my car purchases, Ive driven as far as 125 miles to buy the right car from the right dealer. I was prepared to do the same for my ATS. I found McGrath very easy to do business with. I asked to be left alone to search the lot. They did that. I asked for a couple of sets of keys to look at interiors and appointments. They did that. I asked about numbers and they made me a fair offer.A couple of weeks later, I made a counter offer that was accepted. The whole process was painless. They were able to get all the paperwork ready ahead of time and I did not have to spend hours at the dealership picking up the car. The salesman took great pains to make sure that I understood all of the bells and whistles on the car. I am very satisfied with the whole process. I will recommend McGrath and Austin to friends and definitely return the next time I need a car.

Every person I talked to during the process talked about how important customer satisfaction is to McGrath and I definitely felt that each person I worked with went out of their way to make sure I was having a great experience. I always dread car buying time because you never know if you can trust who you are working with and it usually takes a whole days worth of time. Spencer was wonderful- I spent a fraction of the time I normally do buying a car and I left in much more than I expected- a 2013 brand new Buick. Excellent service! I was in for an oil change and tire rotation today and had great service the entire time I was there! The advisor that helped me out, Eric, brought me back in the garage to show me how bad my break pads had gotten, instead of just telling me what else they found and hitting me with a price. I was treated like family not only by service employees but also sales staff that passed as I waited in a cozy little waiting area! Recently purchased a 2007 Chrysler 300C from them. Used car with 162k miles on it and needed some suspension work no big deal. Its a nice clean car. I have had the car for exactly 1 week today. The Check engine light comes on, Code p0524 which is for low oil pressure. Again not a huge deal these things can happen with used cars. You cant always predict when things will fail. Issue come in with the Service department closed at 1pm today (Saturday) so they cant even look at it. They didnt even offer me a loaner car or even shuttle service. I guess they expect me to drive a car with potentially low oil pressure which could cause the engine to catastrophically fail. If they truly prided themselves on service they would have at least offered me shuttle service until they could get the car in for service. I will not be returning to McGrath in the future. I could be treated the same by any of the other no name used car lots here in town, I expected better from McGrath.

I dealt with Trevor Arnold Internet consultant and he was great. Told him what I wanted and got it. Dealt with Josh Powell when I went to finalize the deal and he was very polite and helpful also.Was one of the best car buying experiences Ive had (over 20 years worth), none of the normal BS and back and forth games. Everyone was upfront and honest all the way through.Got the best deal from McGrath (shopped in llinois and Wisconsin) they made it well worth the 120 mile trip from my home in Illinois to purchase a car from them .Thanks for an extremely easy car buying experience.

My husband wanted to suprise me with a new suv for Valentines Day that had AWD because I drive over an hour to get to school each night. Ended up finding one he knew I would love but McGrath didnt even have any pictures of it up yet on their site. He said he emailed them for pictures and they got them to him right away. They got immediately got to processing his application and was able to get him approved. My husband and I drove our kids (me only knowing we were getting a new vehicle but not what it was) all the way to Hiawatha (which 2 hours away from where we live). When we got there, they were eagerly waiting for us and had our suv all ready to go for us. I test drove it and fell in love. We then started the finalizing of the paperwork, which we all know that can take forever. Surprisingly even though they were super busy that day, it didnt take as long as it normally would. We had 3 of 4 oir 4 kids with us that day and they did every thing to keep them entertained. Brought them cookies, sat out and talked to to us to keep us entertained, and turned a movie on for them. We finally got to leave with our 2014 Dodge Durango (it has all the bells and whistles!!) and they even filled the tank up for us knowing we had a two hour drive! All of the staff we great. We love our Durango and will definitely be a returning customer in the future.

Extremely disappointed and annoyed. So 2 weeks ago I bought a new car which I was super excited about... the day after I bought it, the check engine light came on. I immediately emailed the guy who sold it me and he said that it was in great condition and passed inspection. Brennan informed me that there wasnt anything wrong with it but to go ahead and schedule an appointment with their service department to look over... okay cool, so we take it in and they inform me that I have to pay them like $159 to do a diagnostic!! When I can take it somewhere else and they will run it for free to start with and second it should be complementary considering Ive owned the car for 2 days and its their mistake. So I email him again very angry and he said he understood the frustration and after I get it looked at, to let him know and he would talk to Logan and Jamie to see what they can do. (Also insisted that I was offered warranty for it for problems like this to sign up for, which I wasnt because I 100% would have for this exact reason. But annoying I wasnt.) Anyways after I let him know what the problems were, he said that I bought it as is and now there is nothing they can do. It is one thing to buy something as is and know the problems it has rather than buying as is and assuming youre being sold a car without immediate issues to fix. So I have to bare $2000 extra in mechanical issues to fix after having the car for 2 weeks? Makes complete sense.. aside from the fact that if I wanted to spend that much extra I would have got a better functioning car from a more honest company. Like the fact that some of it is worn rear breaks and rotors and in desperate need of an oil change and transmission fluid. Not huge issues on that end but obviously wasnt looked over before being sold. Also like how could you completely ignore 3 major engine misfires? Of course they really push for referrals though.. well word of mouth goes a long way and I am recommending my family who are in the market to go somewhere else. I get just trying to get a sale because my career is also commission motivated but I at least care about my clients and always hold to my word. Of course im still in love with my car, but if I was looking to pay for repairs, I would have just fixed the car I already had. Everyone I worked with was extremely friendly but no longer impressed.

I bought a 2017 gmc Terrain and we have a back window issues they sold us that car and our back window defrost dont work so they found out that it isnt a gmc window and want to charge us i didnt put it in i bought it with warranty on the car so now im getting the short end of the stick not right to screw the costumer

Back in November 2018 I was in a bad spot as I needed a car asap, I should have just taken a day off from work. However I didnt and that is my fault. What wasnt my fault is the vehicle that was sold to me was a complete mess, alignment, tires, brakes, body panels, electronics, and various other issues. I completely take ownership that I didnt do my do diligence however if it is a McGrath Certified vehicle your lead to believe they did some basic work and at least looked it over. Well they dont and after this and other experiences I will never go to another McGragh dealership in my life.
