Found out I had a flat tire this morning before work. Searched for some tire shops around town and stumbled upon Downtown Tire Co. The guy on the phone was great to work with and he was able to squeeze me in whenever I wanted as all I needed was a patch on my tire. Took the tire in at the time I request and they had the tire removed, cleaned, patch and remounted within 20 min!!!! They even put my spare tire back in my trunk and buttoned up all my carpets/cosmetic pieces in my trunk. I DEFINITELY recommend checking out this place for new tires as well as any tire repair. Great people to work with! Thank you!UPDATE: I have visited the guys at Downtown Tire two more times since my initial review above. Once for an oil change and once for a new set of tire. I got to say, they continue to exceed my expectations. Josh and the group of guys there at Downtown Tire are awesome! I would recommend them to anyone who needs any type servicing or a new set of tires for their auto. Great Service, Great Prices, Great Shop!

Have taken cars here for a couple years now. Ive gained a level of trust in them. Caught them treating my Daughter well with her tire issue recently which was great to see. Offering her a low cost alternative to expensive replacement. Theyll keep getting my business.

These guys are great. Was referred to them when I was new to the area and they have gotten to know me, my car, and are very helpful and friendly. Have no desire to go elsewhere.

This place is a complete joke and told me that my Toyota Camry needed $2700 dollars worth of work and my friend who is and A level tech of of 20+ years of service said it needed $180 worth of work. This place tries to scare people into having things fixed that dont need to be done. Completely avoid this place. IT IS A JOKE!

Worst customer experience in a long time.I won an oil change certificate at a silent auction and went in to get that work done on Friday at 1 pm. I was told the job would take a half hour. I told them that I was short on time and had to be done before 2 or reschedule. No prob. Almost an hour later they told me that two of my tires were getting worn and that one of them had a screw in it. They tried to upsell me 2 new tires ($200), then offered to patch the tire when I balked. I agreed to having it patched (no price given at the time). They also said my air filters needed to be replaced (one about $16, one about $20). I said go ahead as long as they have them out anyway (this is work I can do myself, but I was in a hurry and the filters were already out).At 2:30, when I asked when my car would be finished they said they were still waiting on parts but that it should be soon. At around 2:41 I paid the invoice - $64.60). They gouged me on the tire repair (good tire shops will put a plug/patch in for free or very cheap, hoping to generate good will and repeat business - not this clip joint). It took them almost another 10 minutes to give me my car, and even then I had to go into the bay and get it myself...with some punk kid giving my a hard time the whole while. All the manager had to say about the problems was sorry.Do not waste your money there. Dont let your friends go there. Incompetent and rude staff, inept management, ripping off customers....this place sucks.

Dropped my car off at downtown goodyear for a patch up and manager calls me back 10 minutes later saying its un-patchable and that I need to get two new tires because how far my tread is worn. I come right back to pick my car up and instantly the manager guy goes straight to trying to sell me on some tires, showing me three different tire options. I asked, so is there a nail in the tire or why cant you fix it? He replies and says, no its just a hole and its too close to the side wall for us to fix under our warranty then goes back to selling me on a certain set of tires. I then said, man thats weird there no nail or anything, then a service guy in the background says, oh theres a nail in that tire... really? oh ya...Oh so there is a nail!? after realizing the manager was just bsing me on what was wrong with the tire I leave. I find the nail and its not too close to the sidewall...took my car to five seasons tire the next day. My car was in and out in ten minutes, $20 patch job and the tire has been fine since.
