Seems all staff that works at the grooming department are underpaid. They always have an attitude and they really look like they don’t want to be there, I can’t imagine how they treat dogs when nobody is watching (scary). I decided to find a different grooming service and the difference is unbelievable, I pay more but the service is outstanding and the staff looks happy and willing to help the customer. PetSmart you should try to pay your staff better so they can feel appreciated and with the desire to be working for you, this will transform on giving your customers a better customer experience.

My favorite groomer Lyric no longer works there. I went in today to have my same dog groomed and had Sharon as the groomer. Before I walked in I noticed that my appointment had extra charges on the appointment WITHOUT EVEN GOING IN YET. When I arrived she was not friendly. Looked at my dog said she needed to shave him completely whatever the case may be. The dog was scared of her and she didnt even friendly approach him. She aggressively lifted his tails and ears flicking them. Completely bad energy then told me she would charge me an extra $30. The money part isnt a concern because Ive spent money on him and every visit I pay for upgrades. Going once a month for 3 years I was not expecting this type of treatment. I grabbed my dog and said forget it and quickly walked out. When I reached out to the manager by phone she said it was my fault. Horrible customer service. Now I am going to look for another groomer. Most likely have to go private and local because every time I find a groomer at Pet Smart that I love they end up quitting or getting laid off. Real bummer. If the manager knew how to handle situations she would have offered to comp or discount and insist on having somebody else help me vs saying oh well its your fault.

Love bring in my pooch to the Groomers here. they always take wonderful care of her and she leaves the salon looking like a million bucks. Sometimes it can be difficult to get the appointment times I would prefer, but I know its because they are so awesome and others want to see them too.

There’s no reason that anyone should have to leave a store crying. In a matter of 30 minutes, the manager Leah managed to make my wife cry, charge our card twice, send her to the back of the line, and completely disregard that she did anything wrong. I called the store to try to complain, and she was the only manager there - so obviously nothing is going to be done. People who treat other people like that deserve to be out of a job.

This is a national pet store chain that has most things youll need for your pet. They have a pet hotel and grooming onsite as well. However, each time weve kept a dog here theyve come home with kennel cough - but we havent used them in years so maybe its better now.

Honestly, their staff are helpful and nice but its so hard for me to support big chains that are killing betta fish, as well as housing small pets in super small homes that arent recommended. They also give out super incorrect advice about fish but I know its not on the person just the chain pet store. I talked to the manager about the betta situation after seeing 3 dead or almost dead and took a rescue home with me, and it really does come from above, not enough funding and space to care for fish like betta who cant be housed with other bettas. The store is nice though and its convenience will always keep me coming back :( I just wish I didnt have too.Update went to the petco down the road and they have a much better experience! The staff are amazing and the fish werent dying! Ill attach photos of some of the bettas I saw right off the back at petsmart YESTERDAY. Insane.

I wish there was the option of giving negative stars. This was quite possibly the worst experience ever. I the rudeness, and carelessness was unacceptable. Tried to walk out but I had a child who was extremely anxious to get a pet today. No employees on the floor a store full of people needing help one cashier with a line all the way to the vets. One example helped no kindness or advice for new purchase was given. Animal was handled roughly and without care. Cashier was short and very rude. All around just a horrible experience. I hate that My child had to spend their money here. Such a sad experience for the first day to acquire a new pet to the family. This was at the Cedar Park store

While I generally have no issues with PetSmart, I wasnt very happy with the the customer service in the grooming department. They were incredibly rude during the whole process and treated me like I was dumb when checking in my 2 dogs. Ill still shop here for other stuff, but will find somewhere else for grooming.

We took our family dog here to get a fresh grooming. The check in process was a little hectic and weird; there was a bell to ring but it took a while before someone came to open the door; there were several other people waiting outside to be let in as well. We dropped our dog off and about an hour later, I got a call stating that we had to come pick our dog up because he was bleeding. We picked him up and went straight to the vet to have him checked….there were no signs of any bleeding or irritation found. I felt like they didn’t want to complete the work. It didn’t feel sincere and the atmosphere was cold. We will not be going back.

Went for a cone for my dog, they are completely out of the large size, only other option was a blowup one that cost twice as much. Employee working register was not helpful when I asked if there were other sizes, mentioned if its not on top of the shelves, we dont have it meaning the area where extra inventory is stored for employees to access and restock. He wouldnt ask another employee to help look. Overall demeanor was negative and unhelpful. Just annoying when your pet needs specific items.

Cashier wasnt the friendliest, or the warmest, but I truly want to believe that deep down, he was just having a bad day, or he was nearing the end of his shift, and maybe he was tired. I here ya big guy, the public wipes me out too. We bought a beta, he identifies as a German Shephard so we named him blue. Hes a terrible guard dog, but a great fish.

Man.. this is unfortunately the closest pet smart to where I live. I’ve been shopping here a while. The service has gotten so poor. They need more staff just like the rest of us and I get that BUT the lady who helped us get minnows today had to be retrieved and then seemed like she didn’t want to help us. They don’t have any of the filters our tanks need in stock, which is a bummer because Petco doesn’t sell Top Fin products. Literally going to get a new filter set up for my fish tank so I can go somewhere else or order things to my home online.But I will say, the dude who is always (I do mean always) working at the front register is super nice. He rules. Promote him.

Had a grooming appointment at 9. Was called at 9:08 to reschedule as I was on my way. I told her I’d be there within mins as I had to drive to the vet to get vaccination record. She said it was already too late. Very unprofessional and I didn’t bother to reschedule. No where on their site does it say that I have to drop off within a time frame. Although I could’ve sworn that it would be within the hour. I may be wrong, either way, not going to this location again.

We took our 3 dogs today to get their nails trimmed. Not super friendly, but not rude. The person who trimmed our dogs nails was kind to our dogs, especially to our more timid dog. As they completed the service, we walked over to the Dog day camp. That must be an awesome job, to be able to pet and play with dogs all day :)From there, we stopped by to check out the training for dogs. Donovan, a dog trainer, then came to see if we had any questions. He was helpful, professional and very patient with all of my questions, and gave me all the Information I asked for. I went to buy fish... All of the tanks had DEAD fish it looked really bad. Also I needed crickets and all 8 of the container were dead crickets... it was also hard to get a sales person to help because they were talking to each other. It didnt seem they care about the customers... PetSmart needs to train their employees better...

I made a grooming appointment online to show up to find out they would not honor my appointment because my dog is elderly. The website should specify this when someone makes an appointment so its not wasting everyones time.I rescheduled my appointment as a rush appointment which they say is to benefit the elderly dog by not keeping them in a kennel. However, I waited 52 minutes past my appointment time before they ever took my dog back. The attendant that came to the front had visibly been crying in the back because the boss was putting everyone under a tremendous amount of pressure to do things a certain way. Thats what she said. What is that all about? The boss then came out to announce she is who is grooming my dog. She had to be told to look up a video on youtube to know how to cut my dogs hair. My dog still came out with a haircut that was from a similar breed but not my dogs breed. I think it looks amusing so I am not complaining. We actually laugh every time he enters the room so I guess its ok but not what we asked for. Obviously the grooming dept. could use some help.

Never coming here again! We will forever go to Petco now! We are attempting to rescue a lizard that got stuck to the sticky pad in our garage and before even letting us really talk, two men were standing at the front and said just let it go. We asked what we could do to help it with nutrients and what not and they were reluctant to help us at all. We immediately left and went to Petco where we got AMAZING service.

I took my mini poodle puppy in for grooming services. I wasn’t sure what kind of cut she needed and I needed them to give me some guidance. The groomer was so rude and unhelpful. She even told me I needed to leave. It was a horrible experience.

I normally booked with SUSANA shes the best so far . she makes my dog fluffy and pretty! I highly recommend her guys.On the other hand i tried to booked a grooming with NATALIE since shes the only 1 available for the week and Im not happy on how my dog looks like and she even added $30 in my bill for an hour brush/demat/Scissor when she shaved my dogs entire body!. i booked full haircut and bath and additional top dog plus! my dog doesnt even smell like a sweet marshmallow. ridiculous! i will never ever booked with this lady anymore..

I swear this place can get frustrating. Had a 7:45 drop off for Banfield. Rang the bell since the store opens at 9 and the guy pointed and mouthed its open even though the doors were shut. At the least he could have opened it. When I went to check in at Banfield most of the time its painless not sure why today was so painful. Why do you have to ask me the same questions every time? Ive been there 3 times in the last 7 days. They should be able to look up the information instead of having me repeat myself over and over. Also, they always wait until the day of to talk about add ons -- blood work 120 if abnormal 27 for meds and cone who knows how much for xrays but I upgraded my plan so they were included....Its a shame to pay every month for the wellness plan to only hear about out of pocket expenses...*sigh*

Honestly very overpriced. Went in for a inflatible dog collar. 40$ found the same thing online for 16$, hard to want to even step in when shipping is cheaper. Though their groomers have always been great with my dog and leave her nice and clean!

I took my puppy who’s about 6 months for her first Grooming with a professional. Then after her appointment, they told me she was kinda nervous and basically hard to work . After saying that they said maybe try finding a different less busy Groomers . Then at the very end was like or we can try again. Worst experience ever :/ honestly they just made me feel like a bad owner .

My wife and I decided to take our Basset Hound in to have her nails cut.We were greeted by one of the groomers and while getting checked in we saw one of the dogs getting groomed yelping in pain.Decided to still proceed with the appointment and while handing our dog to the groomer to be taken in for her appointment, could not help but get a unsettling feeling about the person.Was estimated our dog will be done in about 10 minutes so we decided to hang out.While I was browsing around the store my wife proceeded to pay.She called me from the register to let me know that as she was trying to pay, that the groomer called the register to let us know our dog was restless and cannot proceed with the nail cutting.So I proceed to pick her up and the groomer tells me our dog was restless, she was barrel rolling and that her eyes were turning red, so they were unable to cut her nails so they will only charge us for grinding them.Delivering this message the groomer facial expression was of indifference to say the least.The person didnt want to be there and you could tell.Looking at my dogs eyes they were bloodshot red (probably because she was getting strangled by their leash) and closely inspecting her nails (she really did not want me touching her paws) found her nails to be split and cracked.Our dog has been to this location for baths, nails cut and you name it countless times and never has a issue or exhibited the behavior claimed by this groomer.Expressed the situation to one of the store managers and the sole return was them considering the transaction a wash.As if $10 is exactly what is going to resolve the problem.With sincere efforts to keep my composure we decided to walk out.This store and its entire chain will never see or touch my dog again nor get my business.Heed my friendly advice and keep your dogs away from these butchers claiming to be pet friendly professionals as they are anything but that!

I go in and Im told my dog has matted hair around her belly. We brush her weekly so I check, hair is fine so I get 2nd opinion and he said a little tangled but face is matted. Thats fine and I apologize to the woman for doubting her and she wont look up at me, which is disrespectful and unprofessional. To be treated rudely as soon as we come in is terrible. We will use a different service going forward. Even though we paid ahead and they are telling us they are adding on to what we already paid.

Kate is the best groomer I have ever been to! She is gentle, quick, and has great communication with her customers! I will never take my babies to someone else. She also is so good when it comes to cutting dogs with lots of fur and knows exactly how to keep dogs calm, even my hyper one! She is literally the best....and easy on the eyes

Close near home. They have everything you could ask for, for your pets. And I mean any pets! The vet is in-store, the groomer, and even the pet pharmacy. And they have great customer service. I went to buy some food for my parrot. They even baby sat for my parrot while I went to the rest room.

I have consistently received good service from this location. Tonight, I received great service. The young man who answered the phone, the two associates at the front registers and a young woman at the Banfield counter were incredibly helpful. On the phone, I was told that due to staff shortages, employees couldn’t go check inventory - the employee on the line decided to go look anyway and I am thankful he did. The young man at the register informed me how to get the RX card at the Banfield counter and the young woman at the counter explained how the card works. Finally, the young woman at the register was polite and helpful in applying the RX card. These encounters may have just been part of a busy day for these employees but their efforts are sincerely appreciated.

My son went into the petsmart alone to buy few goldfishes. And the employee named Emily pinned down that 35 gallon water tank is needed to get one goldfish. And for two goldfishes 60 gallon tank is needed. So she didnt give my son the goldfishes. However in the store, hundreds of goldfishes are trapped in 35 gallon fishtank. Then arent you the ones who are abusing animals? Also that is a far future considering how small goldfishes are. We already have fishtank in our house that is about 12 gallon. And we also are willing to buy huge fishtank when fishes grew a bit. My son is now upset that he couldnt get the goldfishes. If he bought the fish tank along with goldfishes, will you say anything about size of the fishtank? Do you think it is okay to say stuff that the store is not doing to the customers to do just for the profits?

Wow, this was a huge disappointment. Signed up a couple of weeks ago and saw the class was on Sunday, February 21st at 1:00pm. I signed up. I saw nothing about prepayment anywhere in the verbiage I read. I thought it was taken care of. Today, Sunday, February 21 at 12:45pm, we are here. A woman came out of the Banfield hospital to its lobby and said that we had to prepay, she called several times and when she could not leave a message, she cancelled our spot for someone else. What!? Well, she says she will squeeze us in (thanks for the favor?) but how did you know that my phone wasnt taking voice messages since the power has been out for almost a week? Story didnt track. Next, I asked where the verbiage was on the sign up form that stated that payment is required before class (and not paid before class on the day of the class). I was told that it is a policy, she had no idea where the policy is but she said it is there. I explained that if it is a true policy, it is written somewhere. Next I ask where the other dogs were. Well, the trainer and this manager forgot that class was happening and did not have time to get things ready. What is there to get ready? The participant brings EVERYTHING and the trainer simply brings themselves. Now this definitely doesnt make any sense. If they are telling the truth, they are incompetent. If they lied then they are unprofessional. The trainer and the administration that failed to perform thier jobs should be seriously reviewed by Petsmart. I have had my dogs trained at Petsmart in Colorado and NEVER had an issue. I love my animals and want the best for them and this Petsmart training center WAS NOT IT! Save your money for real professionals.

Their customer service is terrible....I walked in and asked a guy working there if I could return a fish without the receipt. He said that would be fine so I drove home to get the fish. I came back and he was gone, and the woman there wouldn’t let me return the fish, and none of them would listen to me that the guy there 30 minutes earlier told me to bring the fish in..... They’re overpriced anyways, you can find much better prices at Walmart and HEB. I’m never shopping here again...

Horrible customer service. Rihnard neglected to address a situation at checkout when I had a return past the 60 days. The CSR did not even bother to look when it was done I said last 6 months they blew me off. Not asking for a cash refund but an exchange THEY STILL SELL THE PRODUCT. Poor management leads to poor performance from team members. The Vet inside is piss poor and should expect the same from the employees.

Now. June 16th 2021. Our kitty and our dog stayed For only a week...both cannot stop sneezing. 1 eyeball on kitty Is swollen and weeping. There is some kind of sickness going on here. My dog is sneezing. I would think it was a one animal thing but when both ur 1 cat and ur 1 dog cant stop sneezing together. Cuz math. My both are going to a real vet tomorrow. Also a phone call about their conditions would have been nice. Cuz if Im out of state Im sure I could try and get them picked up and cared for family or friends. Cat eye is obvious. Dog was sent home covered in pee. Bath for both.

My poor dog is in so much pain after coming back from the groomers. He was crying all night. Its been a couple of days and he cant move. They man handled him. He is a big dog and he must of fell off the table . He is a regular there. He has no previous issues. He can not walk. He wont get up.

Weve used PetSmart Grooming for various pets for over 25 years with exceptional service at locations across the country. Until this time. Ceirstyn A. at the Cedar Park North location is an AWFUL GROOMER and should seek a different profession, without pet or human clients. She refused to clip our calm dogs nails because he kept turning his head to see what she was doing and she deemed that as him being stressed. No growling, No aggressive behavior, he simply TURNED HIS HEAD. She claims she bathed him but he appears unbathed and no odor of shampoo could be detected. She offered no discount for her failure and was very rude when questioned. Spoke to a manager who did offer a discount, but we will never go back. Now we have to make a grooming appointment with another company and pay again to get the services needed performed.

If I could give the Grooming department negative stars, I would. First and foremost I had a horrible time trying to book appointments for my dogs online so I decided to call directly. After finally reaching someone, I was left on hold and then disconnected. A couple of days later I was in the shopping center and decided that I would probably have better luck scheduling them in person.I walked into the salon and waited more than five minutes to even be greeted. Once greeted I requested to schedule two dogs on one day, and one dog on another. The girl behind the counter looked at me like I was speaking German. She clearly could not comprehend what I was asking. After explaining to her several times and believing there was a solid understanding, I left with an 8 AM appointment for an express bath for my Boston, a drop off for my terrier, and an express the next day for my boxer. Whew, that was work.The day of my appointment I rounded up my two littles and got to PetSmart ten minutes before 8. I waited in line behind a woman in the salon (COVID distancing) while the ladies in the salon chatted it up for 15 minutes. I finally made it in and low and behold my Boston was never scheduled. The woman behind the counter kept saying I, me, I didnt schedule the Boston. I explained politely that I was just in the salon, in person, and scheduled both days on the same day. It wasnt until she completely disregarded my frustrations that I got upset. She argued with me and proceeded to cut me off about whether or not I wanted to schedule her and still leave my terrier. Then another girl interrupted and asked if I was there for a bath for my terrier....uhm, what the heck does the appointment say sweetheart?Of course with the level of incompetence and attitude shown towards a customer there was NO WAY I was going to leave any of my animals in their care. I would rather pay more money for a personal groomer than be treated like my frustrations arent valid nor leave my animals in the care of individuals that cant even schedule correctly or rectify their mistakes. I would never bring my animals to this Petsmart groomer again. Its grooming on a budget and thats exactly what you get in quality and service.

I just went to this Petsmart in Cedar Park to buy a couple of comet goldfish. I was ignored I was standing there in front of the goldfish tank for 15 min when the guy finally came and asked if I need anything. I said I want those 2 comet goldfish that have nice coloration, but he said whatever fish I end up scooping that is what you will get. I was surprised as to why I can not select a fish that I plan on keeping in my aquarium for the whole life of the fish. Apparently, they are selling these fishes to feed other big fishes but I was not planning on feeding them. Anyways, I went to the nearby Petco in Leander and they were happy to catch the fishes that I selected. I would stay away from the Petsmart Cedar Park fish department. I hope they will get some kind of customer service training there.

Groom Salon staff are rude and try to upcharge.So, we showed up at 8AM for our appointment, and my wife (masked) waited in the grooming lobby. When the groomer got there she barked Go stand in the corner (ostensibly because of COVID). Then after a couple minutes barked, STAND BEHIND THE LINE. I actually heard this outside the enclosed room. She was RUDE. Then another employee showed up (without a mask). Finally the second employee asked my wife if she had been helped. The first employee said I cant boot up my computer then took a phone call. After 15 minutes they took our dog (after adding $30 to the most expensive package because shes a great pyr). At home, my wife called the manager and they graciously gave us a $50 credit since the groomer was so rude and they were aware of the problems from other customers. 5 minutes later we got a call from the groomer trying to upcharge us again . Obviously, at this point we went to get our dog.Short story short - I would not recommend this groomer and I would go to ****ANY**** other groomer. Im pretty sure all other groomers know that greeting a customer with a hello before barking orders at them should be the standard.The manager tried to deal with the situation, but until they get that lady out of there, seriously - DONT GO HERE. Go any where else. ANYWHERE.

Easy to get around. Talking on phone before arrival, to be sure item was in stock, helped. The staff are nice and easy to understand. If not, they explain it in a way that I can understand. It is still difficult to get around some parts of the store in a wheelchair. If I ask staff, they will grab an item off a higher up shelf for me. The fish looked healthy. My fish are still alive two weeks later. It is nice when you first go in there is air conditioning. You can bring your pet inside for a break from the heat out side even if you only buy a chew toy or just looking around. The floor was clean for paws on floor, nothing dangerous that I could see. I am always concerned about going around the tanks because most things are so tight together, I dont want to knock anything over. That still hasnt been fixed which is why I left out one star.

Came in to purchase item that website said there were several of in store. Asked two guys in fish department where I could find it since it wasn’t on the shelf. One guy stops their conversation long enough to say “the website is always wrong. What’s on the shelf is what we have”. No apology for inconveniencing customers, no offer to make it right, just immediately picks up his conversation again.

This PetSmart has everything in stock for the most part. The place itself was clean, but the restrooms were very filthy and disgusting. It seemed like the dogs used the women’s restroom to pee. I told my daughter to wait a few minutes so we can walk over to Natural Grocers!
