Martial Athletes is a wonderful place for all levels of martial arts. Coach Cannon is dedicated, knowledgeable and patient. Our son has been attending classes since the beginning of the year and has made tremendous progress. He is more focused, and can master athletic skills like balancing, kicking and jumping better than he could before starting karate.There are a variety of classes offered and the schedule flexibility is great for busy kids and parents. The new location in Leander is spacious and open. There are even toys, games and books to occupy little siblings. I highly recommend Coach Cannon and his team of compassionate coaches if you are thinking of giving karate a try.

Martial Athletes has been an amazing experience since the first day. Martial Athletes owner/instructor is a world class martial artist with tons of patience. His skills and teaching ability are above others in the area. I enjoy the fact of a sports curriculum align with Texas educational system and community service events the students participate in. The owner is born and raised in Leander and gives back to the community. My son has been MA from the beginning and has won various competitions and it has improve his athletic ability.

Character building for childrenCoach Cannon is genuinely kind, patient, and attentive towards our kids needs and interests. Working with young kids is not easy, but Coach makes class fun and challenging. My 4yo started out relatively shy, not knowing the moves or words, and within only 5 lessons, hes already more confident and enthusiastic about learning martial arts. Both of my kids really like Coach Cannon.In 5 classes, my sons learned: punching, kicking, blocks, jumps, stances, movement, combo moves, and agility practice.Trial classes are offered.Weve surveyed the older kids class out of curiosity, and I truly like that class begins (and ends) with the coach creating a connection with the kids. He asks them about their interests, school life, friendships, and promotes an anti-bullying message.Great Environment for the familyClasses are available for young kids (4yo and up). There is a homeschooling class available on weekdays. Private lessons are available for children and adults. Space is clean, bright, fun and welcoming. Both of my kids have been doing class at Martia Athletes for the last 3 1/2 years. They respect Coach Cannon and they strive to do better. So many life lessons learned in class. We reffer our friends and family to be a part of Martial Athletes!

Since my daughter has started at Martial Athletes her whole attitude on life has changed. She went from shy and secure to a confident young lady who is now able to stand in front and help teach younger classes.
