Walked in Saturday @ 10:30 a.m. of Labor Day weekend to get 4 tires on a company truck. Were told that they had them in stock and would be done about 1 or 1:30, theyd call me. Didnt hear anything so @ 2:15 I called them to check on it and was told that they had got swamped and were just about to put it in the rack and itd be about 4:00. Didnt hear anything again so @ 5:30 I got dropped off so I could get it picked up before they close @ 6:00. 5 people standing around outside and my truck was sitting on the rack with the old tires still on it. I was informed that they didnt have the tires in stock and had someone going to pick them up. I told them that Id just come in Monday to get it and pay for it then, my day had been ruined and my wife and sons trip to Dripping Springs didnt happen as they were my ride to pick it up on Saturday. I get it paid for (after a long wait) and as Im driving down the road I can feel the spare tire banging up against the back of the drivers seat. $1700 in tires and they cant even put the spare back on. Horrible overall experience.

I walked into the NTB on N.Bell Blvd. In Cedar Park, Texas to purchase: 4 truck tires, 2 trailer tires and a possible fleet service plan for our company and 5 trucks; only to stand at the reception counter completely ignored by the clerk who was engaged in conversation about a fishing trip with another customer, after several minutes I asked the other person behind the counter do you work here?, he replied that he was in training so the fisherman glanced at me then said Ill get to in a moment and continued his fishing conversation I waited another 3 minutes which gave me time to google and find another tire dealer in the area, fortunately there is one less than 2 miles away!NEVER, in the State of Texas have I ever seen a customer walk in ANYWHERE and be ignored as a first impression into their business, especially retail.My recommendation is simple, dont waste a single moment of your time trying to do business with that location, its a terrible experience !!!

They padded the bill for an oil change. They were running a special turned out more expensive than the regular cost without the supposed discount coupon. Okay i was there so decided to let them do the oil change only... I didnt need tire rotation, they are newer tires bought at Costco. Next thing i see the guy rummaging around in the trunk... I told him no tire rotation - he gave me a scary look... At that point i decided no oil change and left. Ive never been to a NTB and likely will never go to one in the future because of this incident.

I came in earlier in the week to get an alignment and was told that even though I had an appointment I would still have to wait in line because they do first come first serve. I watch others who had appointments get their car taken in and an hour went past and my vehicle was still I. The parking lot. I decided to reschedule and I can in today and my vehicle was taken back and when they were done my alignment was worse. I came back in and the employee looked at me with a a frustrated face and asked what can I do for you. I told him my alignment was worse. While waiting I went to the restroom and all I can say is this store needs to be shut down. You would think with the COVID-19 pandemic they would at least clean the bathroom. I sincerely will not come back here again. To top it off the manager told a customer that they were running behind because an employee didnt come and said he was probably in jail. Completely unprofessional and very disrespectful to that employee who may have had an emergency. I remind you this was the manager who said this smh.

The service we received today was beyond incredible. We have been loyal customers for many years and have always had great customer service. David Chen made us feel very welcome as soon as we walked in today. His customer service and ability to help us understand “mechanic lingo” helped us better understand what was wrong with our vehicle and helped us understand the long/short term affects for us making our decision. Rich is another person who we have come to enjoy for his ability to always greet us all the time.David and Rich deal with numerous people a day, all day, every day and my family and I are always greeted with a smile followed by our names.The reason we always come to this place is because the customer service we receive from David Chen and his employees have been way above par. My family and I feel safe leaving this place knowing our vehicles are safe because of David and his employees.

I have had wonderful service at other NTB locations, but the Cedar Park store has now completely turned me off to the company. I purchased a set of tires exactly one month ago with the road hazard warranty. Amanda, the front desk staff, sold me the tires after locating what I needed at another location because Cedar Park didnt have them in stock and said for the road hazard warranty if they couldnt patch it, they would replace a tire for free.Today, I noticed a nail in one of my new tires and called to ask about having it fixed. Amanda again was my point of contact and said to drop my truck off. She didnt ask for my number or any account info to check out anything. When I arrived, she went out to check the mileage and let me head home with a promise to call when it was finished or there were updates.Two hours later, I get a call telling me the nail was too close to the sidewall and they cant repair it. Worse, they dont have my tire in stock, but another location does. I asked if they were going to get the tire and have it installed for me. She said they didnt have the staff today and I could either wait a few days for them then to get the tires in stock or I could pick up my truck and take it to another location. I was surprised these were my options because when I bought the tires they had picked them up from the other location for me.I show up and get my keys, asking the manager Richard for an account credit because they missed the opportunity to properly take care of the situation, or avoid it all together by simply looking up my account and doing a quick inventory search for my tire. Twice in my contact with Amanda she could have checked their inventory to see if my tire was in stock JUST IN CASE they couldnt repair it, I could go to a different location that had my tire. He sputtered about this being an odd problem and said they usually have my tire in stock and must have sold it the night before. I didnt believe that since they werent in stock when I bought them. Richard said 90% of the time theyre able to to repair the tire, so this was odd. I told him that was a *great answer* to my problem and told him that I had been unduly inconvenienced because of his employee not talking the times to check inventory or my accounts to make sure they could help me. As a manager, he should be held responsible for his employees failures and use every opportunity to correct issues when he can, like me showing up and needing help.Take truck to the McNeil location and discover theres a $65+ for tire installation, and another $30+ warranty to buy for the new tire thanks to my included road hazard warranty. I was never informed about additional charges when I bought tires OR when I went into the Cedar Park location today, so I was taken back. Thankfully, the McNeil staff were able to help me out by waiving the installation fee, but I still had to pay for a new warranty for the new tire, which seems weird since I was told the road hazard warranty would cover new tires for a year if needed and not told about the additional fees.Im so disappointed and will be finding a new company for my oil changes and tires. Maybe thats the reason Costco tires cost more, theyll go out of their way to replace and repair your tires without additional fees and pick up out of stock inventory from other locations for you so youre not inconvenienced.

Oil alarm light not cleared, undercarriage cover hanging loose… Had to schedule a return Visit at their convenience time (not immediately while I’m in the area). All staff was maskless (Jan 2021)... No apology… No “oops” coupon for a future visit… Left my vehicle unlocked with $10,000 of Company electronics sitting inside it.

Bought a set o 4 tires in June, one month later I noticed a screw in a tire. Called for an appointment for the next day. Was given a 12:30 appointment, showed up @12:15. After waiting just over an hour after the appointment time I asked how much longer and was told they’d be able to get to it in about 30 minutes. So after waiting about 2 hours and how ever long it’d take to fix it I just left. What’s the point of an appointment if they don’t even come close to it? Will NEVER go back to the Cedar Park location!BTW I went somewhere else had it repaired and in and out in 15 minutes!

I highly recommend this NTB. Every time Ive been here theyve gone out of their way to provide excellent customer service and make you feel at home. Today I am blown away by the kindness of the Store Manager, David Chen. Everyone is going through hard times, but Ive recently been hit with additional tragedies. David went way above and beyond to help me and make sure that Im safely driving while 7 1/2 months pregnant. There are no words to describe my gratitude. This is the best experience Ive ever had relating to customer service. Thank you David, youre my hero!

Although they did the job, nail in the tire, they were horrible with the estimated time to repair!!I was told that the car could be seen in 20-30 minutes. Because the estimate, I chose to wait for my car. The car went into the bay in 40 minutes.It sat in the bay for another 20 minutes before I ask where is my car in the queue. I was then told that there was one car ahead of me and it would be about 20-30 min to be fix.Another 40 minutes later it had not been addressed.I can’t fault the guys working on the cars but the service advisor should know better. There are only 2 mechanics in the bay and 4 - 5 vehicles working the car.Had I known it would be 2.5 hours for a tire repair, I would drop the car off and have them call me..Why I didn’t give this a 1-star review is that they ate the cost of patching the tire.DO NOT go to this location expecting quick fast service. It does depend on the number of cars that are in the queue, but it would help if they could better estimate.

We have been coming here for years and the new Store Manager David Chen is the best Store Manager so far. He went well above and beyond for us yesterday by walking up the highway to give us a jump and by making sure the repair was within our budget. Usually they will rattle off a list of every repair under the sun and make you nervous to decline them. We really appreciate him for making it simple and very pleasant!

Truly amazing service! As a woman, I do not like to deal with any vehicle issues I may incur but I was absolutely impressed with the service I received. From the moment I walked in, I was promptly and courteously greeted by Alan. I did not have an appointment set up so I was more so impressed that I was in and out with ease. Both Alan and David were exceptionally kind. I went in today and found out my power steering pump was bad and I needed some hoses or pumps replaced. Super friendly staff who also are very fun to converse with and they sat me down and helped explain some issues with my vehicle and how I might be able to fix it with ease. Did the job but I had an appointment at 11 a.m. and dropped it off early but they werent done with it til 3 p.m. I had the same work done on the front brakes somewhere else that I had done here and it only took 30 min. Ill try a different location next time. Sad because Ive been going there for 8 years.

I set my appointment with them with a 50 dollar oil change. When i got there, they charged me 80 for the most expensive type without asking what type of oil i wanted. However whenever another customer came in, they asked what type of oil they wanted. When i brought up the fact i had a coupon, they were snappy with me and seemed annoyed with me almost every second i was there. Every time i go to THIS specific location, they always are very frank and disrespectful for me. I didnt get a proper refund, even when i went back. They told me i wouldve paid the same amount had i gotten the original 50 dollar one i wanted. However, they didnt take into the account the coupon i had. They also told me it was my fault i didnt specify... Um, I had an appointment with the type of oil i wanted. And they say its my fault? Maybe ask all of your customers what type of oil i want like you did with everybody that came in after me. I lost so much money here only to be treated horribly. Never coming back.

Safety was definitely the staffs focus on my visit, plus the general customer service was great, smiles all around. I was servicing a rental vehicle so cost was not an issue for me, however the tires needed to be changed immediately. The staff told me that regardless of whether the rental company gave immediate approval or not, the tires were going to be changed and the bill would be dealt with later. All the employees I dealt with were extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and ready to stay late to make sure I left with a safe vehicle.

I needed tires last minute to get my truck ready for inspection. These guys had the brand and size I wanted in stock and beat every other store and website on price. I didnt show up until 6pm (they closed at 7pm) and they stayed late to install tires and do alignment and make sure I was happy with everything. Definitely my new go-to shop in town.

Made reservation online for 11AM. Showed up at 1045 AM and they said two other people reserved at 11AM they didnt have mine. Said sometimes that happens with online. better to call... why have online reservation if it doesnt offer times that are truly open or doesnt hold the reservation. that is the definition of a reservation - reminds me of a Seinfeld episode. I went in to get A tire replaced. I called and verified that they had the tire in stock and that arriving a little after 7pm would be ok, since they close at 8pm. I was reassured they had the tire and that the time was fine. When I got there(715pm) I stood around in the lobby waiting to be helped, until finally one of the techs walked in from the service bay and asked if Id been helped. I told him I had not and he walked back into the office and yelled at the manager. Once all the particulars about the tire had been taken care of, I went to the waiting room....and waited. I watched the older tech that had gotten the manager for me walk around for a while and then he apparently went home. That left the manager and a young tech. The young tech was apparently putting 4 tires on a truck that had gotten there shortly before I had. About 20 minutes later the manager has the tech bring my car in, and proceed to get it hung up on one of the lifts, then free it. He (the manager) comes in and proceeds to try to say that hes sorry that my car is too low for the lift .I asked him if they had a floor jack, and he looked surprised and said yes and walked back out. My car then sat there for another 30 minutes or so. In that time I watched the tech and manager load a grill into a truck. Finally after about 50 minutes the tech got my tire off the rim, and went back to the other truck. Then finally the new tire was mounted, and then put on the car. The manager hands me my key, and I get in, then the tech asks me to wait while they torque the lug nuts to spec. Finally got out of there about 830.this will be the last time I will go to this location. I have gone to NTB at multiple locations in the past and had nothing but good service but this one is bad. I was once told when I worked in similar shops that how a shop closes shows how it runs....this as an example makes me suggest people go elsewhere.

Dont waste your time, incompetence all around here. Went to get my tires rotated after buying them here a few months ago. Figured Id have them change the oil while it was on the lift. Two and a half hours later, I was told Id be ready to go after they clean up the mess under the hood. Thats a direct quote. Somehow they managed to spill oil everywhere when replacing the filter. When I went out to get the vehicle they tech handed me the keys and told me I was all set. I looked underneath the truck to see oil dripping everywhere. I asked the manager if this was a joke and he blamed the mess on the design of my vehicle, though nothing like this had ever happened in any other oil change I or another tech has done. No apology or acknowledgement of their mistake. Overall, an absolutely ridiculous visit. Im angry I had already paid before checking

Women BewareIve always heard about people trying to take advantage of women by them selves but it wasnt until today did it hit so close to home. I would have given 0 stars if I could. My wife ran over a nail that I plugged as I usually do. The problem was the nail ended up pushing so deep that I wanted to have it pulled out of the tire and go ahead and patch from the inside. NTB looked at the tire and said they could fix it for 19 dollars and some change. Great, over two hours later (and after pulling my plug from the repair) they told my wife they could not repair and that they did not have another matching tire. So what, this women by her self waiting on a 19$ repair is now going to buy a new set of tires (by the way this is a 2018 car that has 24K miles=Good tires). Wow I thought this only happened with the 99$ whole house carpet cleaning. They were not even going to put the plug back in and air it back up until she called me and I said I was on my way down there and not happy...This is from NTB website:The tire may be repaired when the puncture:Is 1/4 inch or smaller (mine was 1/8 so OK there)Is located on the tread (Located 2 inside from side wall so OK)Repair the tread with a plug, and repair the lining with a patch. (Located 1/4 from the edge but on tread so OK)Repairs cannot overlap. (It would not have if they had fixed it right)WOW, how do you argue with that its from their website, sounds like an up-sale to me. Scare the woman, husband gets involved, put the tire back on and get them out as fast as possible.

I’ve always taken my cars to this location for an oil change and tire rotation. I’ve never had any complaints but this time the customer service was outstanding! Very friendly I waited for the first time I usually drop off and was out of there in an hour not bad at all. I only visit every few months and didn’t recognize who helped me this time but thumbs up for professionalisms and curtesy.

I was greeted immediately upon entering and the nice gentleman that is always up front asked how he could help me. I wanted my oil changed, new windshield wipers and my tires rotated. He told me they would handle my car as soon as the Explorer was off the rack.True to his word, they started working on my Honda Accord and finished in a quick manner. FIVE STARS for Manager David Chen and the Cedar Park NTB! My car had been having what seemed like battery issues lately and had just turned off at the light. It started back up and I was able to barely make it to NTB. David tested the battery, called his AWESOME mechanic back to check it out, ordered a new alternator, set me up with a no interest NTB credit card and TOOK CARE OF ME! Im so glad I was so close to THIS NTB. The manager REALLY CARES about people and hes a such a cool guy! I will come here for all my car needs from now on.

I am entering this review for a female friend of mine.. She typed the entire review below.LADIES BEWARE!!! DISHONEST STAFF!!!!. When I went to pick up my vehicle from getting new tires the amount they told me what higher than quoted so I asked why. They said it was from the alignment, I did not authorize or need an alignment. They did not perform an alignment but the charge was added anyway. They removed the charge, but if I had not questioned it they would have charged me for something I did not get. Then.... I got in my car and it wouldnt start. My battery was dead. They tested the battery and it showed bad. Of course it did, they tested a dead battery. They had left on lights or something and killed it while they had it in their possession. Period. The battery was fine. They tried to sell me and battery for $185.00 plus installation. I had them jump the car and went home. By the time I got home the battery has already charged enough to restart the car and has been fine since.

Went in for oil change, but mechanic drained transmission fluid before realizing something wasnt right. REALLY??????? Manager eventually made it right. just be careful...

NTB you constantly disappoint me. The sense of urgency is lacking at this location. Every procedure takes much longer than quoted. The computers seem to run real slow. Overall there are much better choices for services in the area. I have given you guys 3 tries and no more... you have lost my business. You got 2 stars because I have hope you can turn it around.

This Cedar Park store must be a super high profile VIP location. Ive tried without success to get in so many times that I give up. I would have been a very loyal customer if they were little more customer service friendly.The other NTB near Jollyville is super friendly! Worth driving a little farther.

Took my car back in 6weeks after having new tires installed. I was having drifting/sliding issues when driving long curves (not sharp curves). I took my car back in to have the alignment checked and redone. I took my car back in the next day, had the NTB tech test drive my car to reproduce the issue I was having, and was told there were no mechanical issues. I was told to take my car to the Ford Dealership bc it must be a Ford issue with my electronic steering, only to find out my Control arms are bad. This should be something a mechanical shop like NTB should be able to diagnose. Very disappointed in the service, or rather the lack of service, I received.

I went in to have a tire rotation and an alignment. I went in at 3PM for an appointment. Amanda seemed nice but made a comment about how she can hear the “complaining now of how heavy those tires will be to take off” - I was called about two hours later saying they didn’t have a spline key that fit my lug nuts but they went ahead and did the alignment. (I’m sorry - but you should have given me a choice on doing the alignment since you couldn’t do the tire rotation.) I went in to get my truck, Rich I believe was his name was friendly but told me they could not take my lug nuts off as they tried every key that they had (meaning they TRIED) - the inside of my truck was completely and obviously searched through - there was a chewed on straw left in my drivers seat and the glove compartments were completely turned upside down. (I shrugged it off and just planned to not return to this location) fast forward to three days later - I took my truck elsewhere to get a rotation and come to find out FOUR lugnuts on the drivers side tire were LOOSE enough to be taken off by hand. Had I gone longer without getting that rotation, internal damage to my tire could have been done along with risk to my safety. Now I absolutely know they tried to loosen my lug nuts by what I was told when I picked my truck up at NTB when he said they tried every key. This is absolutely absurd. My fiancé called and was given the go around along with the manager Felipe acting like this was completely made up and acted like he just didn’t care. I paid $158 for an alignment I’m not even completely sure was done. I am so dissatisfied not only with the unprofessionalism but the lack of concern that their employees are clearly not doing their job and letting a vehicle be driven off of their lot like that.

There were 3 employees just standing around after they helped everyone else and no one bothered to ask if I needed help. 3 other people came in after me and they helped them immediately. Once I did get someone to help, there prices for the tires itself wasnt bad but all these extra things they tack on makes it completely not worth it. I left for over an hour and came back and they still werent done changing out 2 tires. SHOP AROUND BEFORE COMING HERE

Will never return. It took two and a half hours to change four tires with an 8 oclock appointment. Only customer there. Staff not very friendly, especially the uppity and condescending front desk lady. They tried to charge for labor because my spacers had paint on them. I left, now having to put the spacers back on myself. I watched employees walk around the bay with coffee and smoking cigarettes. The mechanic moved so slow that he looked like he was moving backwards in time. They also chipped the paint on my wheels. No thank you or come back and see us. Just had me sign my receipt and gave me my keys without a word. Dont bring your car here. Go to Discount Tire or elsewhere.

No communication between management and employees. Paid for an alignment with very specific specs and the tech did the total opposite. Brought it back in again and told the manager what specs I wanted and he wrote it down. The truck came off the lift and gave me the printout with again the same result, specs WAY OFF. He told me he forgot to “tell the tech.”Also, he told me they can’t adjust the Caster because they are basically to lazy to take it off the rack, put it on jack stands, and loosen a couple bolts.I knew I should have went elsewhere.

While I have used NTB for years, I probably wont be back to this location. The staff were friendly and polite. However, both times I came in for a $20 oil change in the last year, it was strongly recommended I add another service - a $400 item this time. Thats a ridiculous upsell. Also, the waiting area and lobby are run down. When I sat down, the chairs springs were painfully obvious. Just not a nice environment. The wait time is variable, too. I always make an appointment and, while my oil change at this visit was quick, last time it took over an hour. This quality of service can be had at Walmart for a lower price.

I was out of town for work and our family car (minivan) broke down in the parking lot across the street from the NTB. My wife walked over with our 12 month old boy and explained that she thought the battery was dead. Two men dropped everything to help her and went so far above and beyond. To say they saved the day is such an understatement. There was also another customer that showed up before my wife and was complaining that she was taking their attention, but my other two children needed to be picked up from child care in the next 45 minutes and they worked so quickly to get her back on the road. It stinks travelling and knowing that youre somewhat helpless. All I can say is thanks again to the two men that helped and I look forward to stopping by and delivering a nice Christmas gift for them.

Brought vehicle in to check battery and fix slow leak on a tire. They never called back to give me an estimate, I had to call them 20 minutes before closing. They replaced the battery but forgot to fix the tire. The icing on the cake was when the technician told me the previous battery had been improperly installed and the battery housing had been damaged. Imagine his surprise when I informed him that the work had been done there. Once he knew that, he clammed up about it and tried to trivialize the damage making no offer at all to fix it. Ill be going somewhere else to get my tire fixed.

This place is pretty bad, employees cussed like they were at a bar, spoke about getting “hammered” the night before, complained about the upcoming training class (that is scary), and several of them stood around smoking in the bay while the phone rang off the hook. They did the job, but I would rather sit for an hour somewhere else. I won’t go back, or recommend.Girl at the front desk is the main reason I will not be returning - dropping the F bomb... shame

I had a terrible experience at NTB today. I dont live near a big city so I do most my car maintenance myself. I was in Cedar Park today so I made an appointment to get my oil changed, and make sure all proper fluids were full and chassis joints were lubricated. From the NTB website, I gathered that they would change my oil, rotate my tires, top off my fluids, lubricate the chassis, reset my Tire Monitoring system, and check a number of different things. I showed up at 3 oclock for my appointment and they said it would take about an hour. 1 hour later, my truck was just going up on the lift. 30 minutes later they finished up and we paid (their credit card machine was broke so that wasnt too impressive). I opened the hood to make sure my fluids had been topped off, and they hadnt. I asked Darrel (NTB associate) about it, and he said they didnt check any fluids accept the washer fluid. We opened the washer fluid cap and it hadnt been touched. I asked if they greased and lubricated by chassis, he informed me that they dont do that either. My tire monitoring system indicator light was on (they rotated my tires), and they told me all four of my sensors are reading that they were broken, and they were too busy to do a diagnostic or turn off my indicator light. So they took an hour and a half, they did not top off any fluids, they didnt lube my chassis, they were unable to reset my tire monitoring system, they werent even able to run a credit card. They were rude when I asked what else they had done, and wrongfully claimed that they dont top off fluids or lubricate the chassis. They have lost my business indefinitely

I needed one tire and it took 1 hour 45 minutes. I explained to them that I was in a hurry which to his credit the guy at the desk told the tech but I watched the tech take 6 minutes 24 seconds (yes, I did time this) to remove the sticker from the tire and spend a few more minutes folding it up and throwing it away, then mosey around with little urgency. He didnt seem too concerned and as a result I was late to my appointment but hey, at least HE got paid. I dont think Ill be returning.

Can I give them negative Stars? Rich, the manager, will flat out LIE to tell you what you want to hear. And tear your expected work apart then tell you it is gonna cost $250 to fix. Then slap it back together worse than it came in. He reunded the initial alignment cost but so my alignment us worse than when it went it so I gave to get it fixed NOW or it will destroy the 8 month old tires.

Service was ok. Had a nail in my tire that they couldnt fix. Was told it was too close to the sidewall. They didnt have the tire I needed and it would take 2 weeks to order one. They offered me a similar tire but said it would look different then my other tires; so I went ahead and got 4 new tires. I asked that they return atleast 1 of my good tires so I could have it made into a full size spare... since 3 of my tires were less then a year old. They did not return my good tire... The only reason I went to NTB was cause they have accomadating hours. They are open late on weekdays as well as open sundays. I wish Discount tire offered better hours.
