Most of the Jeep shops in Austin are good places to go, but this place won my heart. It’s a place you can go and spend a lot of money or a little. But you feel same that the owners value you and your time. Nothing but smiles from the owners and staff. The workmanship is great, advice is great, and the staff is happy.

I came to the shop as a young female with very little knowledge of how to fix my Jeep. I was so worried that I was going to be taken advantage of for my lack of experience. These guys made me feel so comfortable and sure that they were there to help, and answer any questions I had. They offer high quality service and the pricing is great for my college student budget.This week I’d mentioned to my boss, who’s also in the Jeep community, that I still needed a part I’ve been missing for months. My boss and a friend contacted Trey and by the end of the day they had the part I needed ready for me. So awesome to be apart of such an amazing group!

Stand up guys. I went in thinking that I probably needed a new set of ball joints. Even told them thats what I was expecting, which would have been a chunk of change. Brad called me about 30 minutes after I dropped it off and said nope tires just need to be balanced.

Call them for EVERYTHING. They always answer my questions without me having to come in. I recently moved to Fort Bliss in El paso. My control arms needed to be changed. They have NO jeep shops in El Paso. Took it to a shop ans they we worrying to charge me 3100$. Didnt sounds right. Called baldys and sent them the print out. They were confused and wondering how they got their numbers. Long story short I drove from El Paso to have Baldys work on my jeep. Great service, EXCELLENT pricing, only took a day, quality work, and they have my business for life. Thanks guys runs great now.

Baldy’s is the place to go in Central Texas for all things Jeep. Re-geared my JT to 5.38, shorten the 8 speed which better aligned with my Magnuson S/C. No complaints, the Gladiator rips from 0-60 (and beyond).Also, great experience building my wife’s JL - their recommendations and attention to build quality are spot on.Customer for life.

Baldys rocks! I bought my 14 JK Rubicon in Sept, and was introduced to the shop through a Jeep group I joined. Ive had them do a partial lift as well as upgrading my tires to 35s.Their prices are spot on! Labor is incredibly reasonable for the skill of the mechanics they employ, and parts are the same or less than manufacturer prices.Trey and Darby, the shop owners, are some of the most affable people youll ever meet. Informative, welcoming, and accomodating every time I visit the shop.Brad is an absolute treasure! Hes incredibly friendly, and has helped me make so many informed decisions on parts to help me stay in budget. Brad is quick to respond, has made himself available after hours for me, and has always gotten back to me very quickly when Ive requested quotes.Tim, the mechanic who handled my lift install, did a stellar job working with whatever fresh hell lived under my Jeep. When I asked what I needed to upgrade next, he suggested some priority items, but was quick to assure me that it wasnt an immediate necessity.While Ive not had work done by them, I would not hesitate to trust my Jeep with Frank or Greg as well. Really friendly guys, and Ive seen the quality work theyve done on friends Jeeps.I highly, HIGHLY, recommend Baldys!

This Jeep shop is located 2 minutes from my house, and it one of the most reputable Jeep shops in CP. This isnt your typical Jeep in the shop cost you a limb kind of shop. I am pleased with the work and prices Trey and the crew do, and they stand behind it 100%. If we ever have a weird issue or noise my husband can not figure out, he will gladly make the time to look at it for us. VERY well priced. Not at all a slime bag like some other shop owners in Cedar Park.

Ive used Baldys numerous times for work on our jeeps. I 1st met Trey at a meetup and he was super helpful answering my newbie questions. We decided to give them a try for our 1st issue - e brake. They were great! Tough to diagnose as it was intermittent but they found and fixed it. We then used them for a lift and new wheels and regular maintenance and other mods and on and on. :)I always go to them bc they have always been upfront, honest and a pleasure to work with! They tell me when something is optional and when I really need to do something. I completely trust them bc even when there have been issues they have stood behind their work. I recently had squeaky brakes after replacement and it turns out it was a defective pa . All fixed and no more squeak.They are a true benefit to the community and always do the right thing.

I’ve taken my Jeep to Baldys since the end of December for all my Jeep needs. They have never failed to be honest, fair and offer GREAT products and labor at a cost that can’t be beat. Trey, Darby, Chuck, and their entire team have done an exceptional job on my Jk. From installing a spider tire rack, top, front and rear axles, locking front differential, steel plates, and bumper to overall customer service they have been extraordinary.Unfortunately, I was unable to post a photo of the Jeep, the quality of work speaks for itself. They are a very busy locally owned shop and limited only by the number of employees they can hire, but the quality of work is well worth any wait and they might be able to fit you in with same day service if necessary. I have found them to be very responsive.I also had an electrical grounding issue with OEM lights that were originally installed incorrectly. The lights would go off after reconnecting and hitting any bump. It was obviously a grounding issue, but the local Jeep dealership’s electrical team was unable to track down the issue, but Baldy’s team was. That speaks volumes as to know how and skill level of the Baldy team.And there is also the Jeep community and excursions. Highly recommend Trey and his team of professionals.

Super nice people, Greg was awesome. This shop can do anything from big to small. I love a company that doing something isn’t just a job. These people really love jeeps and wheel them.

I dont have a 4WD but its still a JEEP. They fixed my brake issue for less than I was quoted elsewhere and they fixed a really annoying blower motor so now my cabin is peaceful and quiet - except for when I put my HEMI to work.I consider the work they did to be, maybe not complex but extensive and they managed to do it in a short time. Definitely found me a new mechanic.

Great guys, great mechanics, great service! My husband and I bought a TJ and had some minor repairs that needed to be done. Also had steps mounted and cargo carrier. The mechanics are super friendly and efficient. The only issue I have with Baldys Jeep Shop was the final invoice and hours charged. You need to make it clear up front what they are going to charge for labor and how long it will take. This was my fault not to check in advance. Trey is a great guy and they have a great team.

Trey is great to work with. We had some trouble trying to figure out a brake issue and they eventually found the issue and rectified it. Would recommend them for anything Jeep related, whether normal service or moding it.

I wish I could leave a great review - but I cannot get even a return phone call from these people. Ive left four voicemails over a six week period and even dropped by the store. When I dropped by a mechanic named Addison took my contact info and vehicle specs, but still no call back from Troy or anyone else. Maybe they do great work, but I guess the trick is getting them to acknowledge that youre alive.

I knew I was in good company right when I pulled up. They were doing a little product testing and you could tell that they loved doing what they do. I will certainly be using them in the future!

Took a little longer than what they said but wasn’t a huge deal. I like the owners and the work seems to be done nicely with an inspection to boot.

Been driving myself crazy trying to figure out whats wrong with my jeep after another shop did a sub par job on my lift kit. Trey and the crew took the time to listen and are currently fixing the issue as we speak. Do yourself a favor if you have a jeep and go to the people that really know the specifics of jeeps. These guys are experts and will save you a lot of stress, time, and money getting things done right the first time.

Had 4.56 gears installed in my JK - fair price, excellent service and very friendly and competent staff. Definitely my goto place for jeep work.
