My husband talked to someone on Monday about replacing a recall on my Yukon XL taillights. The man had him believing they were going to replace them. Talked to him a good while on the phone and set up an appt. Tonight he drives there from ROCKMART with 3 kids bc I was working and they tell him they wont do it. What a WASTE of time. No one bothered to even call him to let him know. Not very happy. You guys were recommended to us. Could you not have spared 2 minutes for a phone call? Would have saved us a lot of time and frustration.

Absolute joke!!!!! I spoke with Alan about a vehicle they had. We made an appointment for 12pm for me to come purchase the vehicle IN CASH! I called to double check about having insurance before I leave. Alan informed me that they have all ready sold the vehicle!! I had all ready withdrew the total amount out from my bank account. I had all ready rented a vehicle to drive down and leave at enterprise. I took the day off work! All for them to sell the vehicle and not let me know! I would of drove 7 hours for a vehicle they no longer have! No one had the decency to call me and inform me they had sold it. Thankfully I called them this evening!! Absolute joke!

I had to have a recall fixed on my 2007 Pontiac g6. Your people had no problem helping me with this. They fixed it in a timely manner and did a great job. They also asked me if I wanted a oil change and tire rotation which I agreed too. However, when I asked if they would change my plugs and wires they were quick to respond, No, we dont work on cars older than 2010. This stunned me , not only did they fix the recall but they changed my oil and rotated my tires. It seems like they just pick and choose what they want to do instead of satisfying the customer. Too bad I cant give a negative score. Since becoming John Thornton service had deteriorated. We have a CTS and ATS which were serviced recently. Appointments were made in advance, when I arrived only a few service needs were scheduled. All were completed, however a one day or less job took 2 days. I also have concerns that if a,simple task of tire inflation cant be completed correctly, then what else may be done incorrectly?

Service is pretty good... only before you make purchase. I found some missing parts on a used car (a very low value seat cap and some scratch on the wheel cover). It was late in the afternoon. the sales person (Stanley) promised to mail the items to us. We thought it was not a big deal for such low value items so that we signed the contract. A week later, nothing happened. I emailed him and he refused to fulfill his promise. What a surprise! If he put everything upfront, we will buy the car anyway. but we do not like such way of doing business. We would NOT recommend this sales person.

I bought a 2020 GMC AT4 in January 2020, and the experience was nothing short of exceptional. Our sales professional, Joanna, was the best I’ve ever worked with. She made the sales experience excellent, but she was there after the sell as well. She was involved even in coordinating service (eg recalls, oil changes, etc) for my vehicle, when she certainly didn’t have to be. She was concise and helpful Over the phone and in person, and she worked with the sales manager to get me an absolutely amazing deal on the exact truck I wanted. She and the sales manager then referred me to a local custom shop that I have been overwhelmingly happy with. I have been buying from Sid Lee for 40 years and he and his team always come through! I highly recommend them to walk your through the car buying process.

I scheduled an appointment on Friday at 530pm via auto trader then received a phone confirmation from Kathryn Harris and received a second confirmation on Saturday morning at 832am from an individual named Michael whom claimed to be on the John Thornton staff. Received a third confirmation in the afternoon to just make sure I was still coming and said I would be about 30 minutes late and I was told that was perfectly alright and the vehicles that I was interested in were both still available. I drove 45 minutes to said dealership only to find out that one of the vehicles was sold shortly after I got off the phone with the representative the day before and the second vehicle was sold at 1130am today which is Saturday which happens to be today. I was livid and when I called the number that had been calling me all day confirming my appointment all I got was the vehicles are sold and the call center screwed up. The person on the phone didnt offer to try and make things right and possibly find another vehicle for me and try to earn my business. I must say that I wasted my time, energy, and my fuel which all happen to be very valuable to me. I strongly urge anyone looking for a new or pre owned vehicle to steer clear of this place. Im no keyboard warrior and I dont take pleasure in writing lengthy reviews bashing businesses but this was completely ridiculous and a terrible experience that noone should have to endure. If i could give this business zero stars i would do just that but Google wont allow that.

Pay close attention to the paper work. I was told the car was 15,500 and was charged 16,995. Also, was told the warranty would be 1, 200, was charged1,946. So, pay close attention when doing the paper work!! I will never do business with them again.

I didn’t find that one of the doors did not lock until the following day after my purchase. I just assumed something so simple, so easily over looked by both the dealer during prep, and myself would be gladly repaired or at least looked at. Nope. My bad. I understand. I just will not purchase from them again. Also, Sid claims he would call the previous owner for the headrest. I’m assuming he did not since I haven’t heard from anyone with JTC.Stand with me and purchase your next vehicle somewhere else.

The infotainment center on my husbands 2016 Cadillac CTS was not functioning properly. Car has 47k miles and was purchased out of state with a 70,000 mile wrap around warranty. Called to make an appointment for service left the above information. Didn’t get a return call. Called 2 1/2 hours later. Was advised by the lady to bring it in that our master tech warranty would be accepted. Took the car in as scheduled. Upon arrival was told would have to leave the car 5 or more days and we would need to plan on paying the entire diagnostic fee and they were not sure if they would be able to fix it. Decided not to leave the car. Took it to Capital Cadillac after calling and finding out they take all warranties. Described the problem over the phone and they advised it’s a common problem with a quick fix same day or 2 days if part would be needed and that it would be at no charge because the car has less than 50,000 miles on it. Took the Cadillac in and 10 minutes later diagnostic completed. Sure enough it was a quick fix at no charge. I appreciate the local carrollton dealership telling us they are not able to work on the car. I wish we had been told that before taking it in. In the future we plan on taking our Cadillac to the Cadillac dealership that is comfortable working on Cadillacs. I hope this helps everyone with this simple common problem to Cadillacs.
