The best barber shop in Carbondale! I had my very first haircut here about 45 years ago. There have been a few different owners since then, but the current owner and staff provide an exceptional service for a great price!!

Great prices and wonderful people. Husband got hair cut and facial hair trimmed for only $20. They do only take cash or check so be sure to have one or the other.

This place is absolutely amazing! Im a student at the University and started going to murdale barber shop a while back and was immediately satisfied with my haircut from either of the stylists and my experience as a whole. They have genuine conversations with you and will help you with your hair by giving suggestions and advice on what they can do and try. Very affordable haircuts and great little shop!

My Husband and son come here regularly to see Stephanie. Shes very accommodating when it comes to making an appointment. She gets them in quickly and always remembers what they like. Weve come here for years and will continue! Atmosphere is laid back and shop is clean.

We love this place!!!!! Stephanie is the bomb! She cuts mine, my husband and my 4 yr olds hair. She is so patient with my son he is not a fan of hair cuts. Everyone there is so friendly and professional. We have the best conversations!

Very nice place to have your hair cut. Ive been twice and now consider it to be my barber. They take the time to do a good job, keep the place clean and dont make you feel as if youre having your hair cut by a giant chain thats more I interested in quantity over quality. One thing to keep in mind when you go there: they dont take credit cards so bring cash.

This is a very nice local barbershop, the staff is very nice and the prices are extremely reasonable, I would highly recommend getting your haircut here if you are a man or a woman it doesn’t matter. This barbershop is very classic and I like the atmosphere on the inside.

Once I discovered this place in southern Illinois I never went to another barber. They make hair cutting like it should be back in the day. Actual conversation when getting a cut or trim and incredibly friendly staff. Never had a mess up here and even if I ask for a suggestion of haircut they make great calls.

It was horrible! I showed the woman a picture of what I wanted and she gave me something completely different and refused to refund my money . She also got my beard extremely crooked and gave me immense attitude when confronted about the whole thing. I would rate it zero stars if it were an option

My experience with Mike, who is the main clipper in this barber shop, is good. However, the women seem not that much, I have never tried to clip by them, though.
