Dont do it! If you have ANY other option for an ISP, ALWAYS choose the other option. Just spent 4 days without internet, without a coherent reason as to why. Maybe there was an outage, maybe not. Maybe it was all the modems in my building going out at the same time, or not. Who knows? Wave certainly didnt.

Service vehicle parked illegally in the Pearl. The vehicle is blocking the only signage letting drivers know that cyclists will be on the road due to construction. If there are any accidents, Wave broadband should be held 100% liable. People wonder why vulnerable road users are always being hurt or killed at staggering numbers. You can see how dangerous this is by the pictures.. At least we have google reviews to shame:)

Signed up with a one year promo for our internet. The promo fell off the account at 6 months resulting in our bill doubling in cost. The first representative informed me of the matter and put a ticket in it to get it resolved. My internet was turned off a second time for the same reason. She said the same thing and put another ticket in. Again it happened and the 3rd representative said no one has put in any tickets and it was a 6 month promo not a year. So pretty much they didnt fix the problem and in the end said I was wrong and there was no notes supporting what was said by the first 2 representatives. Im stuck paying double my price now and feel like the company doesnt care about their customers. I hate being lied to and it has happened too many times with Wave.

I am so sick of paying this company money every month. Our internet goes out an average of 15 times per week. Sometimes for days or hours on end. I work from home and it has now made it nearly impossible to take client calls or do anything from home. Every time I call, the hold time is more than 35 minutes. The address associated with my phone number is incorrect and I cant even get ahold of anyone to fix it.... oh, but if I visit wavecable.com I can get some help. Except... I dont have internet. I cant believe Canby makes it so difficult to get any other service provider.

I’m so frustrated with Wave Broadband. We moved into our new house January 2nd and immediately had someone come out to set up our internet as both my husband and I rely on it daily. A technician came out and said the line from the street to our house is busted and needs to be repaired and that it will take 4-6 WEEKS for someone to come out and repair it. Then of course the ice storm happened which delayed it even more (we recognize that that is not Wave’s fault, just the way things are), then, to our surprise, we were told someone came out and fixed the line on January 12th! That date is complete baloney. Not only were we in the hospital while I gave birth to my son and didn’t get home until the 13th of January, but the first technician had not come out yet at that date. So, we thought that was weird but they must’ve gotten their dates mixed up, but if they actually fixed it, great! Except they didn’t fix anything. They just came out and set the internet up anyway, even though they knew it wouldn’t work properly. I work from home and NEED internet that isn’t going to go out every 30 minutes.So the situation we’re dealing with now is waiting for Wave to come out and fix the line for real. Customer service is absolutely terrible. No empathy or sympathy for their customers. If we hadn’t moved to Canby we’d have Xfinity like we used to, which we never had a problem with.

This is a review on Wave (residential) in general, not this specific location. I switched from Comcast to Wave a couple weeks ago. The good: no contract, costs less than the same data plan from Comcast. The bad: the speed is not as advertised, at all. I have the 100mbps plan, but the real wireless speed is on average 45mbps (and this morning it is 35!!!). When I was on Comcast, I had the 75mbps plan (I was on an old plan they no longer offer) and the download speed was on average 69mbps. I am using exactly the same router so its not a device thing. So far I dont regret the switch as Comcast keeps jacking up the price. Still, the speed is really disappointing.

Utterly poor customer service. We have been sent 3 service techs to set up our broadband service. Not a single one has been able to do so. All 3 said they would notify their office and to expect a call back. Never received 1 call back. So we called the office on numerous occasions. Each time we call, we get a different set of excuse for why they can not set up our residence. 3 time we have been told that a service manager would contact us. This has never happened. We finally got a sales rep to come to our property at which point he directed us to his manager. This manager finally responded to our call but never followed up with the promises and reassurances he claimed. He has not returned any calls since. He has not followed up with progress of the situation either. We were referred to WAVE by DishNetwork. When we called WAVE reps said they would never partner with Dish despite printed publications that come in our mailbox monthly. Before reaching out to WAVE, please please contact every and all other options for broadband prior to doing so! It will save you money, time and stress. You can not find a lower level of customer service anywhere. I can assure you this, sadly.

I had an overdue bill, that I had just paid and instead of getting my box turned back on I had to wait 5 days for the soonest appointment available for a service tech who never even showed up, to turn it back on for me. they took my money and I’ve sat here waiting for him/her to actually show up and turn my box back on and never heard a knock on my door now I fear I’m gonna have to wait a lot longer and even then probably isn’t a guarantee that they’ll show.

This place is a joke! I called to see how much it would be a month and if they ever could provide services at the home I am trying to buy. The man i spoke with went ahead and set up an instillation tech to come out. The only way I even know was I got a phone call stating the tech was on his way! I NEVER told them I want to start up anything! I dont even own the home yet! This make me so upset. I will NEVER use them!

Im trying to get a hold of a specific office so I can ask questions about their employment opportunities over the phone. When I looked at the number after searching. All offices only have a Universal number. You could get a hold of someone in Texas, Someone in Nevada, Someone in Missouri. Im trying to get a hold of the Canby store in Oregon. But all the numbers are Universal. I wish they created the Universal number and then listed a number for each store so that you could talk to someone in your general vicinity

So far so good. Their router seemed kind of slow so I hooked up my own modem and router and now its fast as can be. When calling wave to have them activate my new modem I wasnt on hold but a few seconds. I spoke to someone from this country. He had my modem activated in a few minutes. Very happy so far.

Horrible customer service and high prices caused me to cancel my cable service after only one month. I am only keeping internet because it is my only option. Had hold times on the phone of 45+ minutes multiple times and only actually got to talk to a person once. They also charged me a $60 installation fee despite the fact that the installation tech was 3 1/2 hours late. Poor man was the only tech working in a 30 mile radius and had 6 appointments scheduled for the same time as mine. So I am guessing they treat employees as poorly as they treat customers.

Don’t bother with Wave. Absolutely pitiful internet and phone service, and their customer service is even worse. The internet and landline has never worked properly and techs have been out over and over. We have been given the runaround on crediting our bill, and half the time techs have been scheduled they have no called-no showed. I spoke with a supervisor who was patronizing and would not credit my bill for more than a month even though each time I’ve called I’ve been told they would credit for every day with interrupted service. I should have canceled this service a long time ago.

I would give it ZERO STARS if I could.This is the worst service I have ever gotten. The wifi is constantly dropping, interrupting music, movies, and even my SCHOOL WORK. I cant even turn in my homework because we get dropped 24/7! The customer service is non existent and the hold times are OUTRAGEOUS! We have been on hold for more than forty minutes before, and then Wave just hung up on us! We bought all new equipment just to have it drop on us EVERY. TIME. Wave advertises products that arent even needed, and they charge us for our wifi when we cant even use it! HORRIBLE service!!!

So the company as a whole is pretty sketch, signed up for promotional purposes a few months ago then when I got my bill they acted like they didnt know what I was talking about leading to a long phone call, then when I cancel my tv bundle the technician cancelled my entire service without me authorizing to do so which lead to another hour phone call, talking with a supervisor and me driving out of my way to return equipment that I shouldnt of had to in the first place just to get my services back up and running.That being said, the ladys at the office in Canby were super nice, and helpful in resolving said issue. As far as internet goes, much better than Frontier tho I hear DirectLink is better than both so it is what it is, if you can get pass the headaches of undertrained technicians you should be gucci.

Wave is pathetic. I would give zero stars if I could. By far the worst sevice provider I have ever used. Wait time for customer service is over 1 hour (we lost battery power before they answered). Techs have stopped by and havent solved anything. Consistently drops internet. We have replaced all our equipment to the latest and greatest but still no internet.

We’ve had Wave for less than a month and it’s total garbage.Internet is constantly disconnecting and is slow even though we have gig speeds.The hold times on the phone are insane, I’ve held 30+ mins. The customer service usually sucks.The basic TV channels also suck and our TiVo box has to be reset several times a day as it gets stuck “loading”.We’ve been billed the wrong amount twice now.The first guy who came out to set up service demanded we use Wave’s modem even though we have our own, then said he couldn’t set up TV because he didn’t have the right “tools”.Wave sent out someone else and tried to charge for that, turns out the first tech was already in hot water for trying to avoid doing extra work.Good thing there are no termination fees because I don’t see us keeping this service much longer!

Not as bad as some of these reviews seem to paint it. The connection is fast, and mostly reliable. It seems to go down (usually for a couple/few hours about once every other month (usually when I seem to need it the most). I cant say enough about the Customer/Tech Support. They are 24/7, and I have always been able to connect with someone when I have an issue. It is expensive, and I dont like the 300GB limit on the plan that I have. I ended up paying $10 for an extra 100GB of data just to make sure I dont go over. I dont have phone service, but the cable television is a bit more stable than the internet service. Although there seems to be these moments where the picture starts to get all pixel-ly, and will sometimes freeze (Im guessing solar flair activity or something like that). Never enough to make me want to call support...

Well, I havent even gotten service yet (and will probably cancel the whole thing) and Ive already been lied to. They came to connect my service and I was told there wasnt a drop and theyd have to have one placed in, which would take at the longest 10 days. I just called four days later and was told it will be about a month. Awesome, now I have to call Canby Telcom to restart my service..... Wow, I was really hoping to not believe some of these reviews but...... Im the fool.

I contacted wave because I do not have many options on internet. When I talk to the customer service they said they would able to take care of me. I explained my situation, I live in a rural area, they still said they are able to service my house and they went out to verify before they sent tech. Tech, came out and he said that he has to put in work order to wire to my house, junction is across the street (35-50 ft). So they came to wire it to my house(underground). Then week later the Inside tech. Came back and said that I can not have internet, but I can have TV service., but my neighbor down the street had Wave. Some how I can get internet from the box that is in front of my house, but when it comes in the house all I can get TV. When I called to find out what was going on, I get a generic answer and wanted to talk to a supervisor, the supervisor would not call me back. A week latern, when I called again and finally got someone they just read what the tech said and it was very generic. (No service). I kept on telling her that they had literally came out prior to the inside tech coming. wired my service underground to my house from the street and all I can get is Cable. My house was built in the 70’s. And the person the owned it before me had DSL regular cable through out the house. All I wanted was a second opinion, because it did not seem right. When I had my satellite tv installed. He was having problems with the wiring himself. But found the right wire. A couple of months later I tried to order wave again, and the flat out cancelled my appointment and did not call to tell me it was canceled and it has been a 2 was. Still waint on a supervisor to call back.

Called Waves 800 number to inquire about providing service in our new 174 unit apartment complex thats currently being constructed in Canby. They tell me theres no way to contact a New Construction or Development Rep short of physically going into the store in Canby. No phone number, no email address. Nothing. So, the rep on the phone was either A) Lying or B) This is the first telephone company in history that doesnt allow their employees access to telephones.

Had at my business for the last 3 years, had to bundle to keep my internet under $100! When I had Comcast I got 60/10 for $60 a month, with Wave it was $69 a month for 15/3 service and a 2 year contract. Then to make matters worse, their intermintent service, speeds, and latentcy caused me to upgrade to the 30/5 service for $109! When I called to get a bundle deal, they just told me I couldnt get a lower price. I asked them if it mattered that I go to another supplier, and they kept saying the same thing. Now I get 60/100 for $79 a month!

Positives: Wave broadbands customer service staff has always been top notch.Negatives: internet connection/stabilityI live in Canby, OR and since 6:30am Ive had a complete blackout of services(no home phone, internet & TV). This is unacceptable especially for those of us that work from home. I hope that in the future Wave finds better ways to communicate with their customers about service outages and possible ETAs of when service might be restored.

If you are looking for a stable internet connection, looks else where! Ive had service from wave in two separate locations across town from another and while im paying for 30mb/s internet, on a good day I can get 6mb/s IF and only IF wave is actually online. Google desperately needs a no-star rating for truly horrid companies such as wave broadband.it seems to me the reason wave can offer such low prices compared to decent companies is by severely limiting customer bandwidth and giving internet to its customer in a round-robin style set up where one customer will get 5 minutes of connection, then the next and of course with this style, if they over subscribe the line (as evident), they leave customers in the dark for anywhere between 5 - 20 minutes every 5 - 10 minutes.in the long run, I could probably get better, more stable connection from dial up!Looking for internet? If you go to wave youd be better off paying for strippers to a party you werent invited to!

Over paying for connection. I have the top package and still our connection is horrible. Our TV, and phones get kicked off wi fi. When it rains youre guarantee NOT to have service. I PAY for my service, that I dont get. Wave should adjust our bill. Why should us customers pay full price??? If our service cuts out, our bill should be cut as well.
