I attempted to get what I thought would be a simple task. The receipt that was given to us by Bobs Towing Service tow truck driver was unreadable (very light) and Triple AAA needs a legible one in order to get our refund. The woman who answered was very rude and insisted that my uncle who is 82 has to personally go in and get the receipt himself. I asked to speak to her supervisor to see if I could get him to speak to me since this is a very complicated situation and she insisted he would tell me the same thing to which I told her I would prefer to have her boss tell me the same thing since she did not let me explain the whole situation to her other than tell me my uncle had to come in himself. I am trying to take care of this for my 91 year old father who is the one who has the AAA insurance. We live in Southern California and the towing was done in Northern California. The tow truck service charged $575 which is an exorbitant amount to begin with so of course I am doing what I can to get my father a reimbursement due to the many failures of AAA on the day of the incident. I filed a complaint over the phone on May 21, the day of the towing, and was told someone would contact me in 2 to 3 business days and as of today, 6/14, I have had no response, have attempted to call different numbers but either got hung up on and was either given another number to contact which either didnt answer or never called me back. She refused to have her boss call me or even take my number for him to call me. DO NOT USE THIS TOWING SERVICE!! The woman is very rude, unprofessional and basically a bad person to show such a lack of empathy for their customers. My father who lives on social security will be out of $575 due to this woman being such an awful human being.

These people are utterly unprofessional and outright liars. I was matched with this towing service by my auto insurance roadside assistance. I had given them all the relevant information that my car is parked in a covered garage with 8.5 feet clearance. After nearly two hours the driver calls to say he will be at the location in 5 mins and then called again to say he cannot find the place. When I called the driver he conveniently said he has to attend to a “police dispatch” and just hung up. I called the company and the lady on the line was extremely rude and told me because my car is in a covered garage, their trucks don’t have enough clearance. They had the clearance information all along and it took her 2 hours to figure their trucks don’t have enough room. A bunch of liars and I hope nobody has to ever deal with them anytime.

Unfortunately I have to leave a really bad review for this service. Sorry, but not sorry since I requested a tow through my auto insurance, and the requested tow NEVER CAME after waiting the 75-85 minute estimated time which is already a long time to wait. After that time was up, I had no correspondence with anyone...insurance or the tow shop. Desperate, I called the towing company after waiting 80 minutes to request an estimate since I had 20 minutes before the mechanic shop I needed a ride to 2 miles away was closing. While the lady on the phone was polite, she said that the towing guys were taking care of a police call and that there was no one else available to take me. I didnt have many options so I said sure Ill wait. Well, guess that didnt work for them or they didnt like my desperate tone since I had my request cancelled after 15 minutes, and my auto insurance sheepishly called to tell me I was assigned a new towing service, with no explanation why Bobs bailed on me. The second tow wait also took an hour + in addition to what I had waited for before. I waited 3 hours for a really nice tow guy who helped me out, but seriously, Bobs Towing? Nah. Theyll ghost you and not say anything. Well, enjoy this review!

I was driving on highway 85 at 60mph and one of these tow trucks drifted into my lane going about 25mph from the shoulder in the midst of moderate morning traffic. This was risky driving. This tow truck did not have right of way.

Terrible service. Came and left without noticing my vehicle and refused to return.

I needed a tow right away and was able to have someone come by in just 45 minutes. Adrian was so kind and professional! Will definitely be using this company again.

Its criminal what these guys do. Towed my legally parked car last month.Chapter 5.51 - TOWING OF VEHICLES FROM PRIVATE PROPERTYWarning signs shall be conspicuously located to be visible to any entrance to any parking lot and shall contain the following information: 1. The name of the tower or towing firm. 2. The 24-hour monitored telephone number. 3. The address or location of the storage lot or facility. 4. The words UNAUTHORIZED VEHICLES WILL BE TOWED. 5. The towing fee which will be charged to the owner of the towed vehicle.None, I mean None, of these regulations were followed. Unethical, and illegal.

I called for a tow at 3:30pm and was told it would be 90 minutes. I said OK and waited. After 2 hours they called and said they were taking a police call, it would be another 90 minutes. At 8:00pm I called again and was told they did back to back police calls but the driver was on his way. Driver finally arrived at 9:00pm and finished towing the car at 9:30pm. Driver was apologetic and friendly, but six hours is beyond ridiculous. No discount was offered for the inconvenience.

I found them to be completely courteous and possess a sense of humour.:)What people fail to remember is this is a towing company not Burger King where you can just have it your way, not a place to inspect your vehicle at your leisure.Theyre all good by me!(And the dispatch woman is friendly, courteous, amicable, and completely super fine! We had the most unpleasant experience with Bobs Towing. It is bad enough that we were coping with our sons first car accident which resulted in his car being towed by Bobs towing, but THIS COMPANY EXPLOITS THE VULNERABILITY OF THE CLIENT after a traumatic event. Our son was not given any information on process, fees, etc. and they just took his car to their yard. The next morning my husband went with my son to Bobs Towing and was told they were closed and to come back on Monday. The car was towed Friday evening and because we returned on Monday per their instructions it was a 4 day charge of $95 per day, they use calendar days. Also their tow fees are 2.5 times more expensive than other companies, we recently had a tow for $85 and Bobs charged $235.

Worst towing service I have ever received! My car was supposed to be towed back to the dealership because my rental got a flat tire within 60 minutes the ETA then expanded to another hour and 45 minutes. It was a total of nearly three hours that I did not get updates on. When I stressed my concern of being stranded outside in the cold at night the dispatcher/customer service rep. Maria explained it was not her job to send updates( which it was after hours and the dealership and my insurance were closed), she does not know an actual ETA because there are other important stops in front of me, and she missed construed my concern for being difficult and repeatedly hung up on me when I called in. I waited outside in the middle of the night for three hours with no reassurance that my driver would ever show so I then Ubered home and when I got home and laid in bed then a driver called now 3hr and 30min later. I highly recommend not using Bob’s towing services as they are very unprofessional, inconsistent, And overall insensitive to customer needs.

The service was pretty bad. I wanted to look at my car to see what kind of repairs it would need after an accident. They rushed me and said that they didnt have all day. When they brought out my car they pulled it out and a wire was popped so the rim because useless after that. I also had a bag of coins that was probably worth $60 and it was gone. I would highly recommend going somewhere else if you need towing.

Bobs towing company just dropped a car of in a handicap space at a location where the is no public parking. Explained to the driver that the parking was not for a car to be unattended without a customer. He said Oh Well and left the white 4 door sedan.

The tow truck driver is ok, they are doing their job so no problem there. However the woman running front desk was very rude, impatient, and unprofessional when dealing with car release services. Making the experience of the situation much more difficult and stressful than I’d would have been needed, I would recommend using a different service.

Worst towing service ever. They sent me a text saying they would arrive around 1017pm, ended up coming at 930pm and then making one call before leaving after 2 minutes of looking around.DO NOT RECOMMEND

Horrible experience, front desk wouldnt even tell chp where car towed to!!! Hung up on twice, lady yells at you then says calm down to you....gonna just report car stolen since they took it!!!!

DO NOT RECOMMEND. Unprofessional Company. Estimated 1hr for tow truck, two hours passed by and no call. Called them and they said we had other calls to take. Canceled and called someone else.

Stay away from this business most of their drivers are drunk or they are using some kind of drugs and they are very rude also on November 15th 2017 the driver assaulted me I have a video from them and Im going to sue them so next time they dont touch people they are so much in need of cash that they are Towing illegally from anywhere they can and if you try to stop them they were hit you I do have the video and I will use it against them in the court. I already have started it the processing stop calling these people

Who ever answers the phone kept hanging up on me laughing we make money off storage fees
