Dr. Mangala is an amazing dentist. Ive been going to her for the past 2 years after I moved to Bay Area. She explains the issues clearly to the patients. She is not only a caring professional who is passionate about her work and understands the patients needs, but also very accommodating with her flexible schedules (available during weekends). The best thing about Smile Now Dental is they follow up before/after appointment and ensure youve had a pleasant experience. The place is clean, well maintained and properly staffed. Unlike other Dentists Ive seen before, you also receive goodies(dental kit) from the Dr. every-time when you visit , so thats something I like :-)In short, Dr. Kalandoor is a knowledgeable cool dentist and I would recommend her to all my friends and anyone who is looking for a reliable and friendly dentist.

I have had very bad dentist experiences with my past dentists so Ive always been looking for another one and Dr. Kalandoor is the best dentist Ive ever had.When I called her office for the first time and spoke to her directly. She also calls a few days before the appointment to confirm and remind. There were no wait time for me at all since I have an appointment.The staffs are very nice and happy to answer any of my questions.The office is new, clean and smell very fresh. The machines and equipment seem very new and clean to me. Even the restroom is clean and organized. Tons of parking and the place is easy to find.Im happy to find Dr. Kalandoor, she was very gentle and explains carefully about what she will be doing. She often ask to check about how you feel and if you are doing okI recommend Dr. Kalandoor to everyone who is looking for a dentist.

Save yourself time, DONT GO TO THIS DENTIST. Not recommendable. After a cleanse, my teeth were still full of plaque.I went on a whim, basing myself on yelp reviews. Overall it sounded good, right? Not a good experience. Right of the bat they started cleaning my teeth, but not like other dentist usually do that they go teeth by teeth checking & cleaning. It just seemed like a brush really, and then the dr. assistant polished with a paste, and did some X rays, which is normal. They told me I had a few cavities, and that I could get them fixed later that afternoon - who would turn that away, right? Immediate fix! But I really didnt feel secure with the cleanse by itself, let alone fixing and filling cavities.I found another dentist recommended by a family member, which I know is going to be good, but they asked me to get the X rays I got done with Dr. Kalandoor. According to the law I should have access to these, no problem. I called them to ask them to forward the Xrays to my new dentist and they want to charge me. I didnt sign ANYTHING saying I had to pay to get my OWN dental record, but now in order to get my X rays I have to pay. How wasnt this communicated when I first entered the office and signed all the paperwork?! Ridiculous, even my new dentist says so.

I recently found Dr. Kalandoor because I was looking for a denti-cal dentist for my daughter that was not in the ghetto and had good reviews. I liked her so much that I also switched to her. I cant say enough good things about her and her staff. Clean office, friendly, and patient with both my daughter and I who are total scaredy cats. I highly recommend her!!

Found Dr. Kalandoor via denti-cals list of referrals. Her receptionist Melina was the only receptionist/person to answer their calls after days of trying to find someone, Ive had what I think is a dental emergency since Saturday, was seen at a Western Dental & their service was..ugh Ive already left my review on them. Anyways, I got lucky today, parking lot was clean, theyre on the 2nd floor, theres an elevator. 1st impression of their office was clean & quiet. Wasnt able to get the assistants name but she was nice, was patient with me even with my pain. Met Dr. Kalandoor who took the time to introduce herself, get my name down right, reminded me of my dentist when I was younger, cleaning didnt long at all, and I liked that I could see her screen which helped as she was explaining what work needed to be done. I have an infection that Western Dental didnt tell me I had & she prescribed me some antibiotics. Everything she told me I had forgotten when I got to the front so I had to ask her again, she seemed not irritated but she was like I told you everything & I think you forgot which I did, cause I dont know my dentist terms & I just wanted to make sure that I got everything right, thats it... a minor hiccup not worth taking away a star over. My teeth feel cleaner, quick & their staff was nice. Thanks Melina for answering my call.

I was referred by my relative. I have to say that they offer not only the best treatment but also the best service. Price? I did 5 fillings for $50, no kidding. The people here never pushed me. They let me know about the issues. What need to be taken care of immediately, and what are optional. They also made a plan for me about how to use my insurance. Thats how i end up paid $50 from my pocket for 5 fillings. Btw my insurance covers maybe $2000 for fillings, which means it should be affordable even without insurance.The people here are very skilful as well. I barely felt only a little uncomfortable drung the process. They num your skin with num gel first before give you the num shot, so you dont really feel anything at all.They are friendly too. I did not feel any presure talking to them. I felt they really wanna help me instead of taking every last penny from my pocket.
